Paranoia- part 2

TheSwanQueenShipper asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch1131 "Paranoia". *season 5 spoilers* I've combined the guest who asked for Emma kidnapping Neal for revenge against her parents for what happened during the 6 missing weeks in Camelot.

Grant: No comment.

Anon and guest: I'm afraid these have been too closely covered.

"Henry," Emma said in her gentle but cold voice. Henry roused himself from the comfortable bed his mom had conjured up for him in his prison. He went to get up but was startled to find his mom in the cage beside him. He knew she wouldn't hurt him, but part of him was still apprehensive. Being the Dark One she was unpredictable now. Before Henry could get over the shock his mom approached him, placing something- or more appropriately someone- in his arms. Henry looked down to see his little uncle Neal. "He'll be staying with you now. Don't worry, I'll provide everything he needs." Emma said, having poofed herself outside the cage again. Henry looked from the baby to his mom then back again.

"Mom, you can't be serious!" Henry said, knowing he couldn't just accept this as he had his own imprisonment. "He's a baby, he can't live here!"

"He will be just fine here." Emma snarled back, for the first time showing aggression towards her son. "I look after you, don't I? I will look after Neal just as well…"

"No Emma, you won't." Came a sad voice from the doorway. Both Emma and Henry looked round to see Emma's parents with Robin and Regina standing at the entrance to her hidden cave. Henry wasn't sure how he felt. He was relieved that his captivity was finally over, but he didn't want them to hurt his mom. Emma, on the other hand, wasn't fazed.

"So you wouldn't come for Henry but you come for Neal, interesting…"

"Of course we tried to find Henry." Regina snapped. "I admit your protection around this cave was good, Emma. However your pattern of kidnappings was predictable. We knew you'd go after your brother for revenge against your parents for whatever happened in Camelot, so we had Rumplestiltskin place a stronger form of a locator spell on him so when you did take him we would be led straight to him. Emma laughed slightly.

"How very clever of the little crocodile." She said coolly. "But I haven't just taken Neal as payback for the pain you caused, I've taken both boys to protect them from all of you and your failures." She hissed. "You both failed me, several times. You don't get to have a replacement and expect it to all be ok. I will raise Neal. I will tell him all about how his parents could not accept his sister for who she is and how they'd grow to feel the same way about him…"

"Emma that's not true." Charming said as calmly as he could. "We love both of you. We want you both home. End this Emma. Let the boys go."

"NO!" A blast of magic sent the group hurling against the wall.

"Mom please stop!" Henry begged her. "Please don't do this! They won't hurt us. They won't hurt you…" As Henry looked at his mother, he could see a flash in her eyes, a small glimmer of her old self. She very quickly used her magic to wrench open the door of Henry's cage before turning her back to everyone.

"Go!" She demanded. "Quickly, before it's back!"

"But mom-"

"There's no time Henry! Find a way to save me out there. Go!" Henry desperately wanted to argue, but he had to think of little Neal too. He darted forward towards the rest of the group who were now back on their feet. Regina and Robin grabbed Henry and dashed out of the cage. Snow and Charming were more reluctant to leave.

"We can't leave you, Emma." Snow said. "We can help you…"

"No, you can't! I don't know where the dagger is. I hid it. Please, don't have it hurt you. I don't want to, but I can't control it…"

"Emma you're our daughter." Charming pleaded. "We won't abandon you. We don't know what happened in Camelot but we know we'd never willingly leave you…"

"Just go!" Emma screamed, using her last remains of control to force her parents away, transporting them back to their apartment. Emma then focused on finding a new hiding spot. One where she could contain herself. One where she couldn't hurt anybody, especially those she loved.
