A/N: Since my editor has been sending me prompts, I think I should flip the script and send him one this time. I'll be doing this too with Koga and just him this go around. Since I want to do the A-B-C Challenge with a couple of my established characters.

Koga, the Oni Detective

What words or phrases do they overuse?

Not a phrase, but he does overthink things a lot.

Do they have a catchphrase?

'You don't have to be a detective...'

Are they more optimistic or pessimistic?

Koga's fierce sense of realism tends to give off pessimistic energies. He sees the glass half empty, not because he's negative but because he looks at everything from top to bottom.

Are they introverted or extroverted?

Koga's an introvert with a sizeable social battery. He would love to be away from people, but being a PI forces his hand.

Do they ever put on airs?

No, being and taking cases from North Enders convinced him to never act that way.

What bad habits do they have?

Koga uses logic too much. People say he thinks with his brain too much and should act on emotions more often.

What makes them laugh out loud?

Even someone as stoic and professional as Koga can laugh at jokes from his siblings or Tatl. Proves that even he has a soft spot for his family.

How do they display affection?

Choosing to be subtle, but all it takes from Koga is a kiss on the cheek for his S.O. to feel hot under the collar.

Mental handicaps?

When he was still with the Imps in Kakariko Village, he killed many people out of blind obedience for his Elders. And that's something that eats him alive to this day.

How do they want to be seen by others?

As someone you can rely on to get the job done. It's Koga's job to fix others' problems, so he needs to be trustworthy.

How do they see themselves?

In terms of being a member of Castle Town, he's just another resident trying to make a living. To his people, he sees himself as one of their strongest, something the others proudly agree, his adoptive father, the Chief of the Tribe included.

How are they seen by others?

His younger siblings see him as a good big brother (especially his twin), and they're happy to have him around. To his older sister, she sees him as having a great head on his shoulders but even as strong as he is, he isn't invincible, so she tries to protect him. To the South End, he's a sort of people's champion. He's a necessary evil to the North End, seeing as his analogy to Mary made too much sense.

Strongest character trait?

His moral compass is second to none. It's why he became a PI.

Weakest character trait?

Sometimes he acts like he did when he was the Imp's top assassin. If he stays for too long, he may never turn back.

How competitive are they?

He doesn't see the point of competition in terms of work. It's pointless to work harder if the pay doesn't change.

Do they make snap judgments or take time to consider?

He always thinks and weighs his options before acting. And he doesn't like it when people get snippy with him when he's thinking about his choices.

How do they react to praise?

He brushes compliments off, sometimes outright discounting them. He's only doing his job, and doing one's job doesn't deserve praise.

How do they react to criticism?

Depends on who's giving it to him. If it's his family or a close friend like Telma, Link, Midna, or Zelda, he'll take it seriously. He'll take it less seriously from a client, and if you're a North Ender, he'll ignore you entirely.

What is their greatest fear?

That'll he'll become the mindless monster he was in his adolescence.

What are their biggest secrets?

He doesn't like telling people that he and Zelda used to be a couple. Because he usually gets barraged with questions he's been asked hundreds of times.

What is their philosophy of life?

If you're too prideful to ask for help, you don't deserve his. Working with North Enders gave him that philosophy. Also, if he sees a friend or family head down a dark road and doesn't try to help, then he's much at fault.

When was the last time they cried?

When he revealed that it may be his fault that Tea left Kakariko with him as he was convinced that she would've stayed if he didn't become an assassin.

What haunts them?

The lives he's ended due to blind obedience.

What are their political views?

Koga hates politics and dating Zelda for as long as he did place him in the middle of it. One of the things he's thankful that he's no longer part of them due to him and Zelda splitting.

What will they stand up for?

His people, his family, his friends, the entire South End. As well as the Truth and Justice in all forms.

Who do they quote?

He doesn't quote others. Others quote him.

Are they indoorsy or outdoorsy?

Indoorsy. He generally doesn't like people. He puts up with his siblings because they're his family. He puts up with Tatl because she's his partner. He puts up with Telma because she's his favorite barkeep.

What is their sinful little habit?

He doesn't like to fuck on a bed for some strange reason. Not that his partners complain. He'd do it on a table, the floor, the wall, even in a grassland.

What sense do they most rely on?

Sight, as well as Street Smarts and his intuition.

How do they treat people better than them?

With the utter and utmost respect. As much for Koga anyway, at least he won't cut them off.

How do they treat people worse than them?

The same, but seeing as they're in a worse situation than him, he has more patience for their misfortunes.

What quality do they most value in a friend?

Trust and Loyalty. He has your back, so at the least, you need to have his.

What do they consider an overrated virtue?

Pride. It's healthy to know your self-worth, but most of the people he deals with tend to think more of themselves than they actually are.

If they could change one thing about themselves, what would it be?

To not be so blindly obedient in his youth. And to maybe act a little less standoffish.

What is their obsession?

Koga's a bit of a workaholic. If a case requires only one of them, he'll always volunteer himself. The others have to convince him to let them do it instead.

What are their pet peeves?

Pretention. He hates working with people who act snooty and snarky. He will shut down their confidence with a silent fury in his tone without a second thought.

What are their idiosyncrasies?

He tends to rub the stitches on his nose when he's in deep thought. Also, he likes to scare people when he wears the Mask of Truth since staring at it makes everyone extremely uncomfortable. It never fails to get a laugh out of him.
