A/N: This was something I wasn't expecting to do.
When I first started the A-B-C Challenges, the first OCs I used were Koga and his siblings as a primer. At the time, the Ultimate Adventure reuploads weren't a thing. I have only been using them in MoIs or in responses to Prompts I get or send to my editor. Now that he's a bit more presence among the other OCs like Yao or Benji, I feel it's fitting to give this another go.
Seeing as I know how to write Koga better, this should be a more accurate representation of his personality. Maybe I'll redo the Character Questionnaire of him too (Speaking of, I should use the Character Questionnaire with some of my other characters)
Let's get this underway.
A-B-C Challenge: Koga (Redux)
A): Aftercare (What they do with their s/o after sex)
Some pillow talk to discuss the events of what led to the passionate tryst and what happens next.
B): Bodypart (Favorite body part of their s/o)
The back. Koga loves watching it arch, seeing if his s/o has back dimples. (One of his favorite features on a woman's body) It also ties into his irezumi. Allowing sight of the back brings an air of trust in the session, something he adores.
C): Cum (Where do they cum? How much?)
Koga has more than enough control to inquire his partner where she wants the orgasm to be. He will NEVER finish inside of a woman unless thoroughly persuaded. Even then, he still might flake on the idea. Therefore, a creampie must be coaxed out of him.
D): Dick (How well do they cope when sucked off?)
Can function well. If anything, Koga manipulates where the blowjob will head. He's had many conversations with his siblings while receiving head. (Mostly when he and TP Zelda were together)
E): Experience (How good are they in bed?)
Not as practiced as Tea since Koga sleeps with women he's close with or his significant other. Still, he hasn't received a complaint about his prowess.
F): Favorite Position
Any position to view his partner's back. Strangely enough, Koga' always asks for permission to put them in said position if it's his first time with someone, tying into his view on the back.
G): Goofy (Do they crack jokes or are they serious?)
Koga's pretty serious, but that doesn't mean he's boring to be around. He conversates the best out of his siblings, normally stoic but doesn't kill the mood unless trying to avoid a conversation.
H): Honesty (How honest are they?)
If he wasn't a PI, Koga would never lie. He's learned that to keep regulars, keeping things to himself, or straight-up lie is the best option.
I): Intimacy (How intimate are they? Fav intimate activities/gestures?)
He doesn't like letting others know about his private life. Only people who know of his personal life are his siblings. In PDA, you'll occasionally see him holding hands with his s/o and kiss their cheek once in a while. He's a sap on that front, but his s/o's eat it up.
J): Jerk off (How often do they jerk off?)
While in Kakariko Village, Koga used to masturbate once a month. He stopped nowadays and instead waits until he grows intimate with a woman or just does not do it. There are better things he can be doing than that.
K): Kinks (Do they have any kinks?)
A sexual traditionist. But in a love-making session, Koga lets his instincts take over and follow his partner's vibe.
L): Location (Where do they like to do it?)
He'd prefer to do it away from prying eyes, not taking a chance of someone watching them. As for where inside, if his partner's comfortable, be prepared to do the deed anywhere.
M): Motivation (What turns them on?)
Any woman who can separate work from pleasure and play is a massive turn-on. An air of dominance is another as well as those who challenge him in any shape or form. It shows that he isn't dating a yes-woman.
N): Naughty secret (What is the secret they keep?)
Koga has made love with Ashei twice. The only reason why the city doesn't know because Ashei made him promise to keep it a secret. He agreed because they're good friends, but personally, if he were Ashei, he'd tell everyone they had sex together twice.
O): Oral (Would they rather give or receive?)
Koga used his oral skills to blackmail North End women into leaving him alone or risk exposure as harlots who couldn't keep up with him. They publicly bash but secretly want to fuck him.
P): Pace (Are they slow and sensual or fast and rough)
Koga prefers lovemaking over fucking, unlike Tea. Sex is sacred and a milestone in terms of intimacy. Why rush things?
Q): Quickies (Yay or nay? Their opinions on quickies?)
Koga rarely indulges in quickies. You need a silver tongue to convince him. Forget about it if he's working. Even if you do somehow convince him, it might taint his view on you. You couldn't wait until he was free to fuck? Work on your patience a bit. Despite that, Koga can become creative on how to get the most out of the situation - ask Zelda.
R): Rounds (How many rounds can they go in bed?)
Only one round, but mind you, it's the longest you'll ever have, and you will climax first. Safe to say, the man has stamina.
S): Support (Do they help each other and/or praise each other during sex?)
A reliable pillar of support to friends and family while a hopeless romantic. Koga will whisper sweet nothings in his partner's ear or serenading the lucky lady with his voice.
T): Thrill (Do they like to try new things or stick to the same ol' routine?)
He's open to trying nearly anything once. No pegging or anal, though. Otherwise, he varies things depending on who he's sleeping with and where they are.
U): Unfair (Do they like to tease a lot in bed?)
He'll tease, but it's never intentional. His instincts move to acts of passion, and things only escalate when his partner's patience runs out. Not that he'll complain.
V): Volume (How loud or quiet are they in bed)
Koga isn't vocal unless issuing commands or speaking wax poetic, leaving his partners as putty in his arms.
W): Wildcard (Random fluff or NSFW HC you have for this character)
Koga seldom initiates. It's his partners who push him and make the first move. So if he does make the first move? YOU are the sub; it doesn't matter how strong you are, physically or mentally.
X): Xray (How big are they? Flaccid and Erect? Trimmed or not?)
Six-inch shower and Koga knows how to make the most out of it. Zelda and Zafina know better than anyone.
Y): Yearning (How well do they cope when you or s/o are away and they're horny?)
Koga can and will wait. He's working most of the time you see him but focuses on his work and doesn't have sex on the mind. Like I said before, his view on his partner might become tainted if you pester him enough where he'll do a quickie with them. Nine times out of ten, you might have lost him as a lover.
Z): Zzz (Do they fall asleep straight after sex or wait for you or s/o to sleep first?)
Like I said in letter A, the pair rarely go to sleep immediately. They might discuss their future. Most times, the session is the final nail for them to date. And if not, they'll remain close but probably won't sleep together again.
Bonus Question): True Pairings (Who do you think as their creator would be best with him/her?):
Initially, I said that Aerith and Samus are his best partners, Robin from Fire Emblem and Baiken as honorable mentions. Now I only agree with one of these choices, that being Samus. Koga can get along with almost anyone. If you remember Mary from the MoI where she appeared, the pair became friends. But he can only put up with her shit for so long. From writing 'For my Habib Albi' and the reuploads for Ultimate Adventure, I learned that women who act similarly to him are Koga's best matches. This is why I will stick with Samus as one of his best partners. Zafina and TP Zelda working so well also coincided with this reason, and I didn't even realize it until a few months ago.
With that in mind, who else will work well with Koga romantically?
Baiken's innate angry nature will rub off on him, and that won't end well. Robin can work, but that will take some effort from both parties. Koga admires professionalism, especially in the opposite sex, which is why Samus, Zafina, and TP Zelda work well.
I'll now mention the four women who I find Koga to be excellent partners.
The first two are the Amaris. Either Pharah or Ana, I believe, would be terrific partners, especially the latter. Ana and Pharah also admire the professionalism and those who take their jobs seriously. Ana is just the right amount of calm where she can match Koga's laidback, stoic energy. But Pharah mirrors Koga's fierce need to do good and be altruistic. I'll prefer Ana since she's more commanding than her daughter while less traditional on how justice is served. And the pair rarely act with emotion, another similarity.
The third woman is Chizuru Kagura from King of Fighters. The Yata Mirror heir is described as 'calm and well mannered' and has dealt with her fair share of trauma since she watched her twin die. Seeing as Koga's a twin himself who'd do anything for Tea, that can be enough to spark a relationship. However, Chizuru is a rare occasion where Koga might find himself afraid to commit to a relationship with her. They might get too close, and Chizuru has her fair share of enemies - the Hakkeshu and the Four Heavenly Kings, namely. If they hurt, or god forbid, kill her, there'll be no one who can save them from Koga's wrath. His anger is downright horrifying. (More so than an angry Benji. Let that sink in... Woah)
The last woman who I think works best with Koga is... Kawakami from Persona 5.
Look, just hear me out!
Kawakami fits this very well but isn't an heir to a supernatural object, a guardian of the literal end of the world, or a bounty hunter. She's a high school teacher. But with this being normal, compared to the other women I mentioned, a monotonous occupation comes the most natural relationship Koga can ever have. There's no risk in dating her, save for the maid shit, but Koga can help her with that. PI is a standard job, and he's good, so he can provide for them both. The only thing that stops this pairing is the age gap. I'm assuming Kawakami's in her 30's and Koga is a year older than me. (I'm 22 at the point where this challenge gets uploaded, making Koga 23) That can be a minor hurdle, if not one at all since Koga doesn't care about age gaps much (That being said, if he would be paired with Ana, it would be when she was Commander Horus, not when she's Shrike)
Sheesh, I was not expecting this to become a rant. Anyway, as usual.
Alwaysdoubted?
From the start, I was curious as to why Aerith was picked as a suitable partner as she wasn't mentioned when we first started working on Koga. Samus, I get since the Smash stories, so no issues there. I agree that Koga wouldn't tolerate Maria's ill-gotten games for long and why they wouldn't work out too well. Yet, it's clear to me that Zafina is the best out of all of them. Her alluring demeanor and prowess in the ring give her the edge over the women mentioned above. Plus, she needs more love anyway.
As for your other choices, the Amari mother and daughter are underrated picks with similar tendencies. Though picking Ana was a bit of a welcomed surprise. Hey, nothing wrong with older women at all, especially with how she looked in her younger days.
Chizuru Kagura was the most compelling pick of the group. I didn't play much King of Fighters in the day, but I always wondered about this woman. Her exterior depicts a woman who's haunted by the past despite being quite mellow. She and Koga could surely get along well. How the bedroom play would fair is something I can't predict. Perhaps something they can figure out as they go along.
I can't inform too much of an opinion on Kawakami since I haven't played Persona 5. However, if she can match or balance Koga's personality, I bet the two can work something out.
Bonus Section: Questions from my Editor (Questions about the character that my Editor has.):
Besides the obvious stated above, what other qualities does Koga seek in a woman?
Despite rarely acknowledging his Imp genes unlike his brethren and Dee, Imps are primarily attracted to physical strength when looking for mates. Koga is much the same but also adds mental strength. Meeting a woman who can legitimately kick his or anyone's ass will almost always gain his attention. Though we've seen with the Hakkeshu women that he'll need convincing if he's going to go farther than physical attraction. Or in Mature's case, not kill her outright.
(AD: Good point. Strength doesn't have to be just physical. And regarding Mature, I think Koga would be torn picking between her or Vice if Chizuru wasn't thought of first)
Would Koga ever require his s/o to work as his assistant?
No.
Koga isn't the type of person to force anyone to do anything unless there's no other choice. Koga and Ana were partners before they started dating. Intimacy only added to the chemistry the two had. Koga never asked Chizuru to be his assistant in detective work because he knows she already has a job. Ana joining Koga was a product of him convincing her to leave the Egyptian Army. In a sense, he had to give her the position. He didn't think Ana would be naturally gifted at being a PI.
What does Koga do if the stress of his job becomes overbearing?
While partners with Tea (since they were partners first), he would just keep working. Tea and Dee would convince him to relax while they take control of the cases he was given but didn't have time to start. Ana convinced him to split the work half in half. As in he'll lead half the cases he'll lead, she'll hand the other half.
Chizuru remarkably can just request him to stop working so much, and he'll acquiesce because that's his wife. Drastic measures? Chizuru will call in her step-sister to get Koga to back off. Or she'll request Koga to relax in the hot springs with her. (Like in the Peace and Comfort Prompt)

If you have any, what was the strangest case Koga has ever worked on?
Koga was hired by Zelda to investigate some corrupt North Enders who had a lot of money even for North End citizens. He followed them for days and recorded their spending habits and where they went. When he confronted them, Koga learned they all had an extreme babying fetish. He found them all wearing diapers and pacifiers. Easily the strangest case and the strangest fight he's ever been in. He made sure the punches hurt extra hard before calling the Castle Guards.
(AD: That is something strange)
What does Koga fear the most?
When Ana left him and called Chizuru to replace her as his lover, Koga's fears that he thought were subsided had resurfaced. Even though the pair get along much better than he and Ana, Koga will always fear losing Chizuru.
Enemies think his marriage poses a bargaining chip against him. Not to kill him, but to get work out of him since he doesn't work for villains period. But that's a pitfall since not only can Chizuru defend herself well, but threatening his wife will cause Koga to put you on his kill list as he has no qualms ending lives. People tend to forget that just because he's on the straight and narrow, he used to be the Imp Tribe's top hitman. He knows more ways to kill someone than he could care to count.
So watch yourself.
In doing detective work, does Koga rely more on magic or intuition?
Koga relies more on intuition. He uses his skills, Tatl, and his partner. If all else fails, he'll use the Mask of Truth. If anything supernatural happens during the case is being worked on, 9/10 it's not his doing. Most of the time, the case is bigger than it initially is, much to his and his partner's chagrin.
Tatl eats it up, though.
What other verse do you see Koga doing well in?
Koga, his siblings, as well as Yao would fit very well in the world of comics. Both Marvel and DC if I were to choose. I'd slot Koga into DC, Tea and Dee into Marvel, Huey can fit just as well in either, and Yao in Marvel as well.
Koga can and has from the scenes that I've used him fit in very well in MK. Part of me wants to make Koga a regular cast member of GbNF, but I know better than that. (AD: Wouldn't be against the idea, but you would have to make the appearances as cameos and only if it's important)
If I ever do another Smash Story, Koga will be given the task of inviting others to the world of Smash by Master Hand. The story would chronicle him and Tea inviting Smash Cast in a myriad of different scenarios. Every. Single. Cast Member. (AD: Ah, interesting)
Where does Koga stand on doing work for villains?
Simple; he doesn't.
Unless Koga is forced to by his client, his offer to a villain is to 'kiss his ass and get lost.' You heard him during the Interview Prompt, he told Reiko and Kotal to shove it. It didn't stop Kotal from practically abducting him, forcing loads of money into his hands, and practically ordering him to find Reiko. Kotal also threatened Chizuru. In response, Koga incapacitated Erron Black and put Reptile into a coma. (AD: I bet they didn't trifle with him after that)
That incident is a prime reminder of why Koga refuses to work with villains willingly. All of them carry an air of entitlement, and it reminds him of the North End a place he doesn't like at all. And they always make promises they won't keep.
During the dialogue prompt where Geras revealed he abducted Ana or Chizuru and that they'd be killed if Koga didn't work for Kronika? She was planning on killing them both regardless if he swore allegiance or not. So he doesn't bother.
Similar to Benji, Koga's enemies think he's softer or dumber than he lets on despite the reputation he's built as being the World's Greatest Detective. Being blessed by his Goddess of Power which gave him all his powers AND has the Triforce of Power that makes him nearly impossible to kill.
Koga is the last person you want to test. You'll either get put in your place or killed. End of discussion.
