A/N-1: This story will be AU and expect elements of Tokyo Ghoul, Kekkai Sensen & Beyond and Akame ga Kill. I will be using my OC Mitsuomi Kiriyu for the main character of this story Also below will be a highlight of the events that led to the beginning of this fic. Expect Sandaime, Jiraiya, Konoha and council bashing but expect redemption as well. Also The Shinigami sound like the Legendary Christopher Lee. Loud ringing fills the ears of a young man, his eyes slowly open to reveal snake like steel-blue orbs. He feels a weight on his chest and looks down to see purple hair woman. He shifts slightly but feels this wetness before seeing blood on his hand and not his own. He tries to sit up but can't, "What happened?!" he thought.
"Mitsuomi... You.. Need.. To.. Run" she mutters, lifting her head to reveal pupil-less brown orbs. Mitsuomi looks around and finds they are in a crater, "A-anko" he starts but she wasn't readily moving. Mitsuomi turns himself and anko but gasps as blood is pooling from her missing leg and burnt back. Anko barely opens her eyes but gives a weak smile, "Looks like this is the end" she says and reaches her bloody hand to his face.
"Mitsuomi... No matter what.. You are not a demon or a weapon" anko says, groaning. Mitsuomi touches her hand with tears welling up in his eyes, "You can't die Anko.. I need you.. You promised we would be together" he whispers. Anko's eyes flicker but slowly close, "Sorry but I'm going first" she whispers, seemingly drawing her last breaths. Anko's hand falls from his face as mitsuomi's eyes widen and flicker wildly.
"I'm so sorry kit" a feminine voice says.
"Over here.. Damn think It is alive.. Cut the chatter.. Danzo-sama wants him dead.. 01 has outlived his usefulness" several voices state. Mitsuomi looks down at anko with a tear-filled eyes, "Danzo" he thought, red chakra starts bubbling off his body. His steel-blue eyes turn blood red with black slits, "Kill them.. Kill them ALL!" the voice howls. [song ends]
*XI-Konohagakure no Sato-IX*
Danzo grips his cane as he stares at the broken body of mitsuomi, various scars riddle his body and his black hair is now white in spots due to the stress of torture. Danzo has black, shaggy hair with a x-shape scar on his chin and his right eye was bandaged. His attire is a white shirt, with a dark grey robe over the top of it covering from his feet, to just over his right shoulder. Behind danzo is the Sandaime Hokage Sarutobi Hiruzen. He is an older man with grey hair and liver spots, dressed in a white haori with a red, full-length kimono that is tied using a white sash.
"It's become a liability.. Some on the council are calling for action" hiruzen states. Danzo glances to his rival but back to mitsuomi, "He's becomes uncontrollable.. The Mitarashi woman was a detrimental influence" he says.
"It needed attachments.. You read the report from Five years ago.. I told you Danzo.. Jinchuriki need their emotions" hiruzen states but danzo scoffs.
"He is a weapon and weapons don't need emotions" danzo counters. Hiruzen tips his kage hat down, "Yes It is our Weapon but with Anko's death.. It is a defective weapon and should be disposed of" he says, turning on his heels.
"Minato and his family will arrive soon.. Dispose of the IT" hiruzen adds, stepping out. Danzo approaches mitsuomi with a look of blank and controlled anger, "You failed the mission against Iwa's weapon.. Despite your Power.. You failed Me 01" he says, turning on his heels.
"I-I am.. N-not a We-weapon" mitsuomi musters out. Danzo turns back to mitsuomi as one steel-blue eye is staring back while its twin ripped out as were his nails.
"Yes you are 01.. Ever since you were created.. You have been a weapon for Konoha but you allowed the Weakness of Emotions to corrupt you and now you must be Dealt with" danzo states, closing the cell. Mitsuomi glares as best he can but it gives way to darkness, before finding himself in front of a huge cell.
"01.. 01 WAKE UP!" a voice shouts. Mitsuomi opens his eyes and sees himself in his full Root Anbu gear with the blank but contoured face mask staring back.
"You failed 01.. You failed Danzo-sama" the clone declares. Mitsuomi's eyes flicker in anger, "I am not a tool for him" he says.
"Yes you are!.. A broken tool not strong enough to save Anko!.. Too weak to stop your pain!" the clone shouts. Mitsuomi shoots to his feet at the clone but he only passes through him, "I told you.. TOO WEAK!" it roars, as mitsuomi slips further into unconsciousness.
*IX-Hokage Tower-XI*
The villagers and shinobi of konoha gather around the tower as hiruzen stands on its roof with his advisors. Most notably on the roof with the hokage and elders were the Hero of the Third Shinobi War Minato Namikaze, his wife Kushina and their daughter Naruko. Minato has crystal-blue eyes with blond hair and jaw-length bangs framing either side of his face. He wears a standard konoha uniform with two bands on both of his sleeves, a green flak jacket, blue hitai-ate and blue sandals. Kushina has long red hair to her waist and purple eyes, in a high ponytail and dressed in jonin attire.
Naruko has long blonde hair in twin tails with blue-purple eyes being a mix of her parents. She wears orange capri pants with black heeled sandals, with black uniform jacket having an orange zipper and buttons on the waist and sleeves. However all three could barely contain their abject shock at the display before them. Chained before the hokage is the scar ridden and broken body of mitsuomi, "People of Konoha.. Today we finally put an end to the Kyubi!" hiruzen declares, shocking the three Namikaze.
"Minato.. I thought the Sandaime told us the boy was well liked and safe" kushina whispers. Minato's eyes narrow but glances to naruko and she is staring in horror, "I was a Fool to trust them" he thought.
"I thought so too Kushina" minato states, stepping forward but his Sensei Jiraiya the Galant appears via shunshin and blocks him. Jiraiya has waist-length, spiky white hair in a pony tail, with two shoulder-length bangs framing his face. He wears a green short shirt kimono and matching pants, under which is mesh armour that is visible at his wrists and ankles, hand guards, a black belt and geta sandals.
"Sorry Kid this needs to be done" jiraiya states but minato glares.
"Needs to be done?!" minato says. The gathered crowd cheer as hiruzen raises his hand and brings it down. The Anbu drive their swords through mitsuomi's heart, head and throat amid the cheers of the crowd and the abject shock of the namikaze trio.
"What have done?!" kushina shouts. Hiruzen turns with a serious look on his face, "Something for the Good of Konoha" he states. Kushina glares at the older man and looks down to see people below she knew actually cheering mitsuomi's death.

However before anyone could do anything a chilling cold fills the hokage tower roof and it is emitting from mitsuomi's body. Everyone goes on guard as blue mist forms above mitsuomi, shifting into a white robed figure with long white hair and beard and void less eyes. A mask hangs from its hip and a tanto in its hand, "It seems your unfettered arrogance has allowed you to break a pact with the Shinigami itself" it declares.
"Who are you" danzo questions. The entity stares but looks down at mitsuomi, "The one whom sealed the Kyubi no Yoko into this child at His behest" it utters, pointing at minato. The Yellow-Flash's eyes widen in horror, "Shinigami-sama" he utters but turns to hiruzen.
"You broke the Pact!" minato shouts, shocking kushina.
"Indeed they did Minato Namikaze.. The Arrogance of these fools knows no bounds.. I decreed in Eighteen years the Kyubi would be gone by the Seal you created but If the Boy did not reach the Age.. The pact would be broken" shinigami states.
"It wasn't like that.. The kid lost control of the Kyubi.. He had to die or it could happen again or worse unleash it upon Konoha" jiraiya states. Minato glares at his sensei and hiruzen, "I sacrificed my soul to seal Kyubi into him and now it was for Nothing as you just Killed him!" he shouts, reaching for his hitai-ate. Minato tosses the metal headband at their feet, "I'm done... I resign as a Konoha Shinobi Henceforth!" he shouts. Jiraiya stands in shock as does hiruzen but kushina follows suit by tossing hers as well with a glare.
"I was the previous holder of the Kyubi.. Would you have done this to me or Mito-sama?!" kushina shouts, angrily. Danzo grips his cane as he steps forward, "Yes.. You were weapons for Konoha.. Why do you think you weren't allowed to leave the village during the war" he states. Kushina's red hair lifts up like nine tails and minato produces a tri-prong kunai as naruko moves behind her parents.
"ENOUGH!" shinigami roars and turns its gaze to the three, "Minato Namikaze.. You forfeited your soul to seal the Kyubi.. However I release you from that burden" it declares. Shinigami lifts mitsuomi from the ground, "Listen Well Konoha.. Your Arrogance will be Paid back in FULL" it declare, vanishing in a crackle of thunder. [song ends]

Everyone stands in tense silence as the chilling air leaves the roof, "Minato let's talk this through.. You can't leave" jiraiya starts, trying to break the tension.
"Are you actually ignoring what Just happened.. You all broke a Pact with the Shinigami Itself!" minato says, noticing Anbu were edging around them.
"Minato.. Kushina this was done for the betterment of Konoha.. It represented dark forces at work" hiruzen states.
"Yes.. The prophecy stated that he would bring about the End" jiraiya adds. Minato clenches his kunai with flickering eyes, "You're all mad for completely believing the Elder Toad" he says and levels a serious look, "Neither I or my Family will be party to this" he says, raising a half ram-sign.
"Stop Him!" jiraiya shouts but all three namikaze vanish. Hiruzen whips around to danzo, "We need to Find them" he says and danzo nods.
*IX-Kyubi's Cage-XI*
Mitsuomi sits in front of the cage as the world around him starts to fade but slowly kyubi's pale arms reach through the bars, embracing him as best she can. Black tears run down kyubi's face as she watches as mitsuomi's mind slowly shatters, "You need to wake up.. You mustn't give up.. You need to avenge Anko.. She would be horrified to see you give in to them" she shouts.
"I-I'll be with A-anko soon.. So nearly F-free of pain and suffering" mitsuomi mutters. A bright light fills the cage as kyubi looks but gasps as mitsuomi looks up with blurry eyes. Anko appears in a white sundress and barefoot, "What's this.. Giving up already.. You promised me a run in the sack" she says, squatting in front of him with her trademark smirk. Tears run down mitsuomi's cheeks as he slowly reaches out for her, "A-anko.. I-I'm sorry.. B-because of M-me" he says but anko places a finger on his lips, his eyes drooping.
"It's alright Mitsuomi.. None of this was your fault" anko says and looks up to kyubi, "I chose this form to Keep him calm" she adds. Anko now resembles a beautiful woman with long white hair and glowing eyes. The bars break down as kyubi pulls mitsuomi closer into her body, "I understand Kami-sama" she says. Kami stands to her full height and looks down at mitsuomi, "He is the Child of Prophecy and he can not die now" she states.
"She will bring him back" shinigami states, appearing next to Kami. The Goddess turns to shinigami, "I am need of a certain soul.. She will be needed to help with his transition" she states. Shinigami runs its tanto across its belly and pulls out a red orb, "You will make him one of Them" it asks.
"Yes and I'll amplify the abilities his Snake of a Mother gave him" kami says, taking the red orb. Kyubi looks between the two higher beings, "What is that orb" she asks, stroking mitsuomi's head.
"I will revive Mitsuomi but he will a being known as a Ghoul but not just any ghoul but a One-eye Ghoul.. This soul will guide him on using his powers.. Also I will strengthen his Hyoton.. Koton.. Jinton and unlock his Father's Kekkai Genkai" kami explains, pushing the orb into mitsuomi's chest and he lurches slightly.
"Kurama.. I will also give you freedom from the seal but you are still bound by the seal.. You will gain a physical body and you can return to the seal if you wish" kami adds. Kurama's eyes widen as black tears run down her cheeks, "Thank you Kami-sama" she says and covers her eyes as the bright light engulfs them.
*IX-Unknown Location-XI*
Mitsuomi's empty left eye opens with black sclera and red iris with red veins extending out from the socket, then he gasps sharply as his body convulses. Mitsuomi unleashes a guttural wail as his back arches but falls slack, slowly red energy emerges from his body. The energy forms kurama with her red hair flowing to her rear over her nine red tails, "Mitsuomi?!.. Mitsuomi calm down!" she shouts. Mitsuomi's eyes dart around as both try to focus but he sees kurama staring back in concern, "A-am I-I dead" he hoarsely says. Kurama sees he has a scar on his throat and under his left eye, "No.. You're alive but as for where we are.. I have no Idea" she says, looking around.
"Ufufufufu.. Think about that later.. We need to meet" a voice croons, inside their heads. Kurama returns to the seal as mitsuomi slips back in darkness, once inside kurama sees the cage is now gone but replaced with a huge room with checker pattern floors. Mitsuomi is sitting in a chair and behind him is a hooded figure in the bandages, "Hi Hi.. I'm Eto and I am the One-eyed Owl" they say, revealing themselves as female. Eto removes her maroon hood and the bandages slip off to reveal a young woman having short green hair, with a light-green left eye and her right is like mitsuomi's left.
"Are you the soul that will help Mitsuomi" kurama asks and eto nods, coming from behind the chair.
"I will and looking at his memories.. Mitsuomi-kun will make a perfect One-eye King" eto says, with a dark smirk. Kurama clenches her fist and her nails cause blood to trickle down, "He wasn't given a choice.. Konoha turned him into weapon and took away the people he cared for" she says.
"I know the Feeling" eto says. Mitsuomi starts to stir and falls from the chair to all fours, "What happened?!.. Where's Anko?!" he says.
"After your battle with Han.. Ne ambushed you and Anko.. I'm sorry Kit but Anko is gone" kurama states and mitsuomi punches the ground, cracking the tiles.
"You went Six-tails and rampaged but Jiraiya stopped you.. You were tortured and executed in front of Konoha.. However Shinigami-sama and Kami-sama revived as a being called a Ghoul" kurama explains.
"That's where I come in.. My name is Eto and I am Ghoul like you are now" eto states and mitsuomi looks up.
"Ghoul" mitsuomi questions. Eto approaches mitsuomi and places her index fingers on his temple, "It would take too long to explain.. So this is easier" she says. Mitsuomi's eyes widen and his body seizes as a multitude of images assault his brain all at once.
"There now.. Wake up and we can see what you can do" eto says. Mitsuomi gasps as he in back in the waking world, followed by kurama manifesting next to him.
"Use one your Shadow clones and Think of me" eto comments. Mitsuomi slowly sits up and sees they are a beach, "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu" he thought. A puff smoke forms and it reveals eto in her bandage glory, "Hehehe.. Nice to feel the air and the smell of the sea. Mitsuomi makes a cross-shape sign, "Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu" he thought, creating a hundred clones.
"Scout the area.. Dispel if you find anything" mitsuomi says, getting to his feet and noticing he was only wearing some black cargo pants and no shoes.
"Now let's see what kind of Kagune you have" eto says. Mitsuomi sighs and starts to focus with blood bursting from his back to form eight red tentacles.
"Hmmm.. Rinkaku quite similar to Rize and Kaneki-kun.. I wonder if he can push it to Kakuja" eto thought.
"Will I need to eat humans to maintain this" mitsuomi asks, letting his kagune vanish. Eto thought for a moment but glances to kurama, "We will have to see" she muses. Mitsuomi glances to kurama and finally got a good look at her. Kurama has slightly pale skin with a curvy body under her red kimono, a heart-shaped face and red slitted eyes with two fox ears on her head. However mitsuomi freezes and his eyes widen, "What happened" kurama asks.
"You'll never guess where we are... Uzushio" mitsuomi says and kurama gasps, leaving eto clueless.
*IX-Konohagakure-XI*
Hiruzen sits in the council room as both the civilian and shinobi sides bicker about the previous day's fallout from mitsuomi's execution to the resigning of minato and kushina. Hiruzen rises from his seat to quiet the councils, "We need to show decorum" he states, quieting both sides.
"Hokage-sama how can we have decorum?!.. We have lost the Yellow-flash and Aki-no-Shi because to the Demon!" mebuki states, head of the civilian council. Mebuki is a fair-skin woman with shoulder-length, blonde hair with a single bang which falls down into her face. She also has green eyes and wears a white qipao dress with three red circular designs at the bottom of the front of her dress as well as the back, and pink pants along with brown sandals.
"I agree with Mebuki.. Minato and Kushina's daughter was to join the current graduation class.. Once word reaches the other villages about their defection.. It would invite our enemies to attack us" hiashi states. He has long black hair and pupil-less white eyes, wearing a loose fitting robe and brown haori.
"I have Jiraiya running subterfuge on their defection while asking the Toads try to find Minato" hiruzen says.
"Mendokusei that can work but what about the loss of our Jinchuriki and this Pact the Shinigami mentioned" shikaku asks. He has dark hair tied up into a spiky ponytail, dark eyes as well as a goatee. His ears are also pierced, also having two scars on the right side of his face and wears the standard jonin uniform.
"We have a remedy on that front.. I have my Ne acquiring the Nanabi Jinchuriki from Taki.. She will reprogrammed to replace 01 as our weapon.. As for the Pact.. It is empty words" danzo comments. The council slowly nod but one on the shinobi side is not as sure, that being Tsume Inuzuka. She has long, spiky, untamed brown hair, vertical slit-like pupils, elongated canine teeth and nails. She also has her clan's red fang markings on her cheeks as well as markings over her eyes and a dark shade of purple lipstick, wearing the standard jonin attire but her shirt is black.
"Hana met the pup through Anko and she said he was fairly normal and worst they don't seem concerned with Anko's passing" tsume thought.
"What about the current class then.. We are one short" koharu asks. She wears a simple long kimono, closed by an obi, a jacket, and a sash over it. She keeps her grey hair in a bun with hair needles with two pearls dangling off the side.
"I'll have one of my agents join the current class to even the numbers" danzo comments. Hirzuen rises from his seat once again, "Until we know Minato's whereabouts.. Keep his actions under wraps" he says, dismissing the councils. The councils trickle out to leave hiruzen, danzo, koharu and homura. The latter is an older man with glasses and grey hair and beard, dressed in loose fitting robe and coat.
"The loss of 01 is a serious blow but worse is Minato and Kushina.. Even though they were not in the village.. Their threat alone was enough to keep our enemies at bay" homura states, adjusting his glasses.
"Indeed.. I told you Hiruzen to delay Minato while we executed 01" danzo states.
"I told you to dispose of it but you decided put it on display for its execution" hiruzen comments but danzo scoffs. A puff of smoke fills the room as jiraiya appears and by the look on his face is not happy.
"Have you found Minato" hiruzen but jiraiya shakes his head.
"I talked to my Spies in the Capital and Minato returned quickly.. Before speaking to Tsunade of all people and the Daimyo.. Then leaving with his family and Tsunade" jiraiya explains. Hiruzen lights his pipe as danzo grips his cane, "I told you giving Tsunade so much freedom would cause problems" danzo comments.
"She has had the last Five years to sway Minato away from our thinking" danzo adds. Hiruzen glances to his shadow with a frown, "Tsunade would have taken It.. Her report on its mental status was too convincing and silencing her would have been too detrimental" hiruzen explains.
"Sensei?!.. Y-you were going to Kill Tsunade" jiraiya asks, shocked. Hiruzen slowly nods with a puff of his pipe, "Yes.. Tsunade would have interfered with our plans.. Ne would have silenced her and blamed Iwa or Kumo" he explains. Jiraiya slowly nods as hiruzen shifts in his seat, "Can't the Toad reverse summon Minato" hiruzen asks.
"The Toad won't help me.. They found about the Pact" jiraiya explains.
"Why not" koharu comments. Jiraiya rubs his forehead with a sigh, "They refuse to stand against the Shinigami" he says.
"Those Foolish Animals" danzo snaps. Hiruzen rises from his seat with a pinch of his nose, "No matter.. I will contact Orochimaru to aid in finding them and inform of her of its passing.. Continue searching.. We can not lose more weapons" he says, leaving the chambers.
*IX-Uzushio-XI*
Mitsuomi, kurama and eto arrive where his clone dispelled and it was at the destroyed gates of Uzushiogakure. The trio enter the village and mitsuomi sees the bones of adults to the smallest of children, "I read about this in History books" he muses.
"This is what kicked off the Third war.. Iwa.. Kiri and Kumo invaded and wiped them out.. Kushina was devastated and Begged to Konoha send aid but it was too late" kurama says.
"War does not change" eto muses, picking an uzushio hitai-ate. Mitsuomi sees a tower similar to the hokage tower in the distance as they continue on.
"Konoha was their Ally.. Why did they not send aid sooner.. Three major villages against one does not happen overnight" mitsuomi states.
"After what Konoha done to you Mitsuomi-kun.. Is it not plausible they let this happen as well" eto states, looking over the various skeletons. Mitsuomi glances back with his Kakugan staring back, "Duly noted" he says. Kurama keeps her senses at max in case others were on the island, "Mito your Clan did not go quietly into the night" she thought, seeing for every uzushio shinobi, at least six other enemy bones were near them.
"These people fought to the last person.. I am impressed" eto comments. The three reach the tower and the doors were barely hanging on the henges, using two of his kagune. Mitsuomi pulls one of the double doors off its henge as eto giggles, "You're a natural" she muses. He creates some clones to check the rooms as the three head to the top of the tower, noting a few skeletons as they moved higher.
"The Uzumaki were known for Fuinjutsu.. Correct" mitsuomi asks and kurama nods.
"They were.. The very seal on your stomach was their creation" kurama replies. Mitsuomi reaches the double door but recoils as something shocks him, "A seal" he thought but he places his hand back on. The door glows and the seals shatters, shocking both him, eto and kurama. He pushes open the door and the room is intact with a desk, chair and several shelves having old books.
"Mitsuomi.. Did they ever tell you about your Father" kurama asks. Mitsuomi approaches the desk and finds a journal upon it, "No.. Danzo never mentioned him" he says.
"Did his Father die" eto asks but kurama pulls her back into the hall.
"I do not know but given that he opened this door.. May prove he is an Uzumaki" kurama explains.
"The clan that perished here" eto asks and kurama nods.
"Mitsuomi's mother is a woman called Orochimaru.. An inhumane scientist.. She gave Mitsuomi to Konoha to seal me within him... However she continued to do experiments on him until Mitsuomi was about Three years old.. From there Danzo got his hooks into him to break him and turn him into an emotionless killer" kurama explains. However suddenly the temperature drops and both enter the room to see ice under mitsuomi and forming on the windows.
"Mitsuomi?!" kurama asks, concerned. Mitsuomi turns with the journal with his Kakugan leaving a red streak, "Konoha betrayed Uzushio" he states.

AN-2: Now to give you the Bullet points on what lead to the current events. Not long after the Third war Hiruzen didn't choose a successor, in a bid to keep the power he had acquired over the years but he did have choices. Orochimaru, Fugaku and Minato but he knew all three wouldn't blindly follow him and in essence become a puppet Hokage while He and the elders continued to rule Konoha, save Orochimaru but she was obsessed with her work.
A few months before the Kyubi attack Orochimaru showed Hiruzen her Son Mitsuomi, who she had experimented on since his birth. Orochimaru intended Mitsuomi to be her new body in time. However the Kyubi attack happened and to one up Minato, offered Mitsuomi to seal the Kyubi inside, despite being nearly a year old. Minato summoned the Shinigami but It sensed the intentions of some and made the Pact with Minato. That the Kyubi would be gone on Mitsuomi's Eighteenth year but if He dies before then.
Minato would die and his soul dragged into its stomach. After the sealing Danzo used his silver tongue to convince Minato and Kushina to go the Capital to take care of their daughter, to which both agreed on the condition that Mitsuomi be taken care of.
Orochimaru took Mitsuomi back and continued to experiment on him, giving him the Chimera Technique she and Hiruko created, gifting Mitsuomi with the Koton(Steel), Hyoton(Ice) and Jinton(Swift). Once Mitsuomi was three he was given to Danzo and trained to be an emotionless weapon but a meeting with Tsunade at the age of Thirteen, allowed Anko to enter his life and attempt to Fix the damage Danzo had done to him.
