Chapter 1: Rise of the Snakes

In the mystical land of Equestria, on top of a mountain stands the monastery of Spinjitzu. Home to the masters of Spinjitzu. Flash Sentry, Master of Wind, Trail Blazer, Master of Fire, Thunder Crack, Master of Lightning, Landrush, Master of Earth, Gaia, Master of Life, and Frost Gear, Master of Ice. With in the monastery, meditating in front of smoke is their teacher, Sensei Wu. As he meditates, he can hear the sounds of the ninjas grunting as if they are training. "Fire strike!" Wu heard Trail shouted, causing him to stop meditating. "Oh, my gosh, is that the greatest move you've ever seen?"

"Stop trying to do it yourself. We need to attack as a team." Wu heard Landrush say as Wu parted the doors to his room and to the training ground, only to find Flash the only one training with the golden Bo of Wind. After Flash spun the bo around his back and took a battle stands at a dummy, he saw Wu and by the look on his face, he knew Wu wants to know where the others are. But they both know where they are.

"Frost, why are you wasting your special attack on me? You have to save it." Thunder told Frost. As both Wu and Flash hear them grunt more, they made their way to where they are. "Fantastic, I'm out of lives!" They heard Thunder complained as they slid open a door and find them playing a video game.

"Then it's my turn, bolt for brains." Gaia said as took the game controller from Thunder.

"But the lesson lives on, and I am getting the hang of it. Hee-yah!" Frost shouted as he played the game. They were so focus on the game that they didn't see Wu whisk by them.

"Okay, now!" Landrush told the others as they were getting close to beating the final boss. Just when one of their avatars were about to end it, the game shut off because Wu pulled the plug. When they saw Wu hold the plug, everyone but Flash groan in frustration.

"What happened?!" Thunder exclaimed.

"It took us three hours to get there!" Landrush complained.

"Why would you do that? Why?" Thunder asked Wu.

"Just because Lord Garmadon escape through a vortex, doesn't mean he won't return one day for the golden weapons of Spinjitzu." Wu told his pupils.

"But Sensei Wu, ever since he's been gone, Equestria has nothing but peace." Frost spoke up.

"Yeah, peace is boring. There's no one to save, there's nothing to do." Thunder complained.

"We can train tomorrow." Gaia said as she lay back.

"Never put off tomorrow what can be done today." Wu told them.

"Well, I was going to eat this pizza tomorrow so if that's the case." Landrush said as was about to eat a pizza slice before Wu kicked it out of his hoof.

"No pizza for you! In order to reach your full potential you must train!" Wu told them.

"Uh, remember when we did a little something called the Tornado of Creation?" Trail asked. "I thought that was pretty insane."

"You six have nearly scratched the surface of your full potential." Wu said while they just laz around. "There are still so many secrets you have yet to unlock. You haven't even begun to tap into what powers your golden weapons hold."

"Sensei Wu is right." Flash spoke up. "I feel we can do more with these weapons, instead of using them to warm up pizza." He said as he picked up Trail's Sword of Fire and knocked off the pizza on it.

"You want to talk secret powers, check this out." Landrush said as he used his Scythe of Quakes to carefully plug Wu pulled out back in. Once it was back on, they started to play again while Flash just rolled his eyes.

"Don't worry master, we will be ready when Lord Garmadon returns." Frost told him.

"Yeah, what are the odds that he returns right now?" Gaia asked before Aqua ran into the room with a concern look on her face.

"Guys, I just got a letter from Princess Twilight! She says Lord Garmadon has returned! She says that he was spotted approaching Ponyville!" Aqua told them before the ninja quickly got up and bumped or tipped over each as they scramble to get their weapons. Flash already had his ninja hood up and out while Aqua picked up Thunder's nunchucks and gave them to him while the others followed Flash out.

"Uh t-thanks..." Thunder said with a small blush.

"Hurry!" Aqua quickly told him.

"Okay!" Thunder said as he puts on his hood and ran out. The ninja made their way outside and down some steps as they are in their dragon master gis. They made their way to the dragon keep where Flash pulled down a lever and the gates to them went down. One of the gates hit Frost on the head before he pushed it off him and they each made their way to their dragons. After Landrush jumped on his dragon, his scythe fell out and drop to the ground. Thunder did some somersaults over his dragon, but overshot his seat and bounced off the dragon's head before hitting the ground. Gaia flipped over to her dragon, only for her to face the wrong way in her seat. Wu shook his hand at this sloppy work of theirs.

"Uh, can I help?" Aqua asked her brother as he packed his bag before jumping on his dragon.

"Sorry sis, where we go, danger abounds. This is a job for the ninja." Trail told Aqua before he realized he couldn't reach the rings to help with flying his dragon. "Uh, a little help?" He asked Aqua before she did while shacking her head. Their dragons then took flight and made their way to Ponyville.

"Will they ever reach their full potential?" Aqua asked Wu.

"In time. Maybe long time, but in time." Wu said.

The dragons flew across the skies as they made their way to Ponyville. "Just like old times, huh Orchy?" Gaia asked her dragon.

"You said it, Gaia." Orchy said as they continued to fly.

"You guys believe what Sensei said about unlocking our full potential?" Trail asked the others.

"He may be on to something." Thunder said as he pulled out his golden nunchucks. "Since we got these golden weapons, it's not like we've ever had to use them. I wonder what they do."

"Hey Nimbus, you and the others used to be the guardians of the weapons, do you know what they can do?" Flash asked his dragon.

"Sorry, not much." Nimbus replied. "All we know they have the power to create things when used together."

"I for one look forward to the future. If there is more for us to accomplish, let it be." Frost spoke as his dragon flew by.

"Yes, the only one way to see what the future is to look beyond what the past has brought." Shard said.

"I don't know about you, but is anypony else a little excited about battling Lord Garmadon? I've been looking forward to trying out some new Spinjitzu moves. Could be the perfect opportunity." Landrush said.

"Race you there?" Whisp asked as each dragon speed up. They flew past some mountains and a forest as they were neck and neck. They flew for quite a bit til Ponyville was in sight.

"There it is. First ninja there wins!" Trail shouted as each dragon dive down. They were still neck and neck before they hit the ground. "Haha! Flame and I were first!"

"No, nopony was faster than me and Wisp!" Thunder argued while Landrush laughed.

"Rocky's feet touched the ground before your dragons' did!" Landrush bragged.

"You are all disillusioned. It was clearly me and Shard." Frost said.

"I saw all of you eat mine and Orchy's dust!" Gaia told them.

"Hey, remember why we're here!? Lord Garmadon, returned, hello?" Flash spoke up before he spotted the mane six coming up to them. "Your highness." He and the others bow to her.

"Please, no need to be formal. We have bigger problems right now." Twilight said as they hear strings of fear as ponies were rushing inside to their homes. Fillies and colts were brought inside by their parents as shadow was cast over a few buildings by the city fountain. The six ninja ready their golden weapons as they and the main six came in and took battle stands when they saw the shadow. They heard a cackling while the shadow was getting smaller as the one who cast it is slowly moving around the fountain.

"Stay sharp everypony, whatever happens, never let your guard down." Flash told the others.

"I've been looking forward to taking on Garmadon for a long time." Rainbow Dash said, but then they saw who they saw cast that shadow. It wasn't Lord Garmadon, but a young unicorn colt with a light grey coat and wearing a black hoodie with a rib cage painted on and a cape wrapped around his neck.

"It is I, Lloyd Garmadon!" The colt declared before he jumped on to the fountain. "I demand all the candy in town, or else!"

"'Lloyd Garmadon'? I thought you were going to face Lord Garmadon." Thunder complained.

"Yeah, not some fan colt." Rainbow Dash said in a disappointed tone.

"He's not a fan colt, that's his son." Gaia spoke up. "Master Wu told us about him."

"I didn't know that Garmadon had a kid." Applejack said.

"Well he does, and it looks like he escaped his boarding school for bad colts and fillies again." Landrush told them. "And to think we could be doing Spinjitzu already."

"Give me your candy, or else I will release the serpentine on you!" Lloyd told the ponies that gathered before they started boo and complained. Lloyd then took out a prank can of nuts and undid the top before sending rubber snakes at them. As Lloyd had a smirk on his face, somepony threw a veggie at him. "No way, I asked for candy not vegetables! I hate vegetables!" Ponies continue to throw vegetables at him.

"He's going to do a lot better than use an old bedtime story to scare ponies." Trail said as picked up one of the rubber snakes before he fling it.

"Or at least get more realistic looking snakes." Pinkie Pie added. "This is just unprofessional."

"The serpentine are real, they are not something to joke about." Frost mentioned.

"Serpentine, real? We're talking about the ancient race of snake like creatures who once ruled Equestria and was supposedly locked underground?" Rainbow Dash asked sarcastically.

"Uh, sealed in five different tombs to separate the warring tribes, and ensure they don't unify, to exact their revenge upon those who put them there." Thunder said worriedly.

"It was an old mare's tale to teach fillies and colts not to poke their noses where they don't belong." Applejack spoke up. "Don't y'all think it's a little suspicious no ponies' ever found one of their tombs?"

"That's because you'd be a fool to look for one." Landrush said as he and the other ninjas walked up to Lloyd.

"If there was anything I hated more than dragons when I was a filly it was snakes, rubber or not." Gaia said they picked up Lloyd.

"Don't worry folks. We'll take care of this. Nothing to see here." Flash told the residents of Ponyville as they carried Lloyd.

"Bow down to me or suffer my wrath!" Lloyd shouted. "I'll give you to the count of three. One...two...two and a half!"

"What are supposed to do, spank him?" Trail asked. Later we see Lloyd hanging upside down by his tail from a baby store sign.

"You've just made me your nemesis! Mark my words, you'll pay for this!" Lloyd yelled at the ninjas as everypony laughed at him. Frost took off his hood and bought some candy from a store next door. He then gave some of the candy he bought to the ninjas and the main six. Thunder took the cotton candy Frost bought.

"Next time, try paying for your candy." Landrush told Lloyd after he and the ninjas took off their hoods.

"Crime doesn't pay, muchacho. You can take that to the bank." Trail said as Thunder was eating his cotton candy.

"Mm, cotton candy." Thunder teased him. They soon walked back to their dragons before Flash noticed Twilight talking with her friends. After she got done, she looked at Flash before Rainbow Dash shoved her to him.

"Um, hey Flash." Twilight said with a small blush on her face. "Um...do you want to maybe...hangout sometime? I can see when I have some free time."

"Sure, I can check in with Sensei Wu to see if he can let me have a day off to let me come by." Flash said as Trail bumped his bag when he jumped on his dragon and a scroll fell out before it bumped Flash's back hoof. "Huh? Hey Trail, what's this?" Flash asked as he picked up the scroll before Trail jumped down to see what he meant.

"Huh, I don't remember putting this here." Trail said when he saw the scroll.

"That's sensei's bag, you must have accidentally took it in the rush." Frost said when he recognized the bag. Flash then open the scroll as Thunder and Gaia walked up.

"What is it?" Thunder asked.

"It's a scroll, bolt brain." Gaia told him.

"I know it's a scroll, but what does it say? It written in chicken scratch." Thunder said when he saw what's on it.

"Not chicken scratch, the ancient language of our ancestors." Frost said.

"He's right, not even I read what it says." Twilight said when she saw it.

"Well you read it Frost?" Rarity asked him.

"Well I can try." Frost said before he begins to read. He then points to a symbol written on it. "This symbol means prophecy."

"Prophecy?" Thunder and Pinkie asked.

"It means it tells the future." Gaia told the two.

"Right, I knew that..." Thunder said.

"But what kind of prophecy? A good or bad?" Fluttershy asked.

"It seems a good one." Frost said before he read the scroll. "One ninja will rise above the others and become the light ninja, the ninja destined to defeat the dark lord."

"Dark lord? Do they mean Lord Garmadon?" Flash asked.

"Not unless they mean King Sombra." Twilight said before Thunder saw something on the scroll.

"Oh look, a picture!" Thunder said as he pointed to it. The picture was of them with one ninja in the center of them. The ninja in the center was very light sliver and it is unclear that it is a unicorn, pegasus, or earth pony.

"Hey wait a minute, is that us?!" Trail asked when he saw the six ninjas around the sliver one. "Is anypony else thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Like how good I'm going to look in sliver?" Thunder asked.

"Isn't it obvious I'm going to be the light ninja?" Trail argued.

"The color obviously suits me." Gaia told them.

"Technically I am the best." Frost said before Landrush jumped over to them.

"Everypony stop it! Remember why Sensei brought us together in the first place, we are a team." Landrush reminded them.

"He's right. We weren't meant to see this and probably for a good reason." Flash said as he gives Twilight the scroll. "Come on, let's head back home. We have training to do." He said as they each got on their dragons.

"It's about time I added some finess to my routine." Thunder said as he jumped on his dragon.

"Well, I could use some exercise." Frost said when he got on his.

"I do feel like my form is a bit sluggish." Gaia said while on her dragon.

"Yeah, I've gotta work on some new moves." Trail said before all but Flash took off on their dragons.

"Flash, do you think you're this light ninja?" Twilight asked. Flash didn't say anything before he took off on his dragon. "Be safe..." Twilight whisper.

Somewhere in the mountains, Lloyd was walking alone and kicking a rock as he did. "Stupid ninja. I'll show them who they're dealing with." He said to himself. He kicked again before he heard it hit something metal. When he went to see what it hit, he found something of Interest. "Hey, what is...?" He asked as he went up to the thing on the ground and move some snow in the way. Lloyd saw that thing was a giant tomb door in the shape of a snake.

Lloyd then saw a snake-like lever next to him before he pushed it back. The mouth of the door open slowly when he did. Lloyd was fixed on it that he lost his balance when the edge of it was close and he fell down it. He hit the bottom and slide on the icy ground of the tomb. He got up and noticed that the tomb was carved like someone or something made it to be a fortress before he heard a voice from behind him.

"You are out of your mind to venture ssso far away from home, little one." Lloyd turned to see a blue snake with a long tail, white and yellow scales down the center of its body, red eyes with swirls in them and arms holding a golden snake staff with a blue gemstone in it. Lloyd was backing up as the snake like creature was slithering towards him. "Look into my eyesss. Give up your mind." The snake creature said as his tail rattled and the swirls in its eyes started to move as they glowed. "I will control you." Lloyd's eyes became heavy be tripped and fell. The snake saw its reflection in the ice when Lloyd fell and it fell to its own power. Lloyd got up and saw that the thing was trying to hypnotize him, only for it to hypnotize itself when it saw its reflection. Lloyd then had an evil grin on his face as he knew what this meant.

"No, I will control you from now on." Lloyd told the creature.

"What shall you usss do, massster?" The creature asked LIoyd as it bow to him.

"Us?" Lloyd asked before he saw more snake like creature appeared from the shadows. Some were like the one infront of him but with legs, others had grey scales on instead of blue. Lloyd realized that these snake like creatures are the real Serpentine, the Hypnobrai. "My own army of snakes. MUHAHAHAH!"

The ninjas have returned to the monastery as they had come with something about this light ninja ordeal. "So we all agree. The prophecy states that one of us will be come the light ninja, and the issue will not rest until it is decided." Thunder said as they walked up the steps to the entrance.

"May I suggest a tournament?" Frost asked. "Last ninja standing is the best."

"And will be declared the light ninja. I love it." Trail said.

"You five can do it without me." Flash said. "I'm really not interested in all that."

"That just means one less competition to deal with." Gaia said. They open the gates to monastery to find Aqua on the training course. She punched a dummy on one of the wheels before flipping to the next obstacle. She managed to dodge the swords and flip over the planks. But when she got to the axes, she got hit in the face by one and fell to the ground.

"Hey, Aqua, closer to beating your brother's speed record?" Thunder asked her with his hood off before she got up.

"I'm getting there." Aqua told him. "Heard what happened in town. Just a false alarm?"

"Yeah." Trail said. "Uh, but we're gonna need the space. Sorry, sis." He told her as Landrush open a cabinet with training equipment before he took a helmet and threw it to Thunder. Thunder didn't notice before it hit the back of his head.

"Two matches, then the winner of each face off for the fight with Gaia for the title of light ninja. Armor's for our own protection. It's time to see what these babies can do." Landrush said as he holds up his golden scythe.

"Hey, Aqua, wanna stay and watch me mop the floor with them?" Trail asked while he had armor on.

"No, thanks. I think I'll just visit Ponyville. Knock yourselves out." Aqua told them before she went out.

"All right, first up: Trail versus Thunder." Landrush said as they bow to each of before they ready their weapons. "NINJA, GO!" He shouted before they whisk by him so fast. Thunder swing his nunchucks around as Trail ready his sword. Thunder spin his nunchucks in the air before he accidentally zapped himself with lightning. Trail then jumped behind Thunder and the two clashed weapons. Trail then run on the side of the temple as they continue to clash. When he jumped down, he spin his sword around before he shot a fire ball at Thunder, causing to fall back. Trail was both surprised and pleased that happened, for it won him the fight.

"Next up, Landrush versus Frost." Trail said as they bow to each other before they ready their weapons while Thunder had the armor off and watch from the sidelines with Flash and Gaia. " NINJA, GO!" He shouted before he flipped back. Both Landrush and Frost took a battle stands before Landrush charged at Frost. Frost flipped over him as Landrush swing his scythe and sliced a board in half. He then charged at Frost again and Frost used his golden shurikens to block each attack thrown at him. Frost ducked under an attack before he jumped behind Landrush. He then took out one of his two shurikens of ice and concentrate before he threw it. Landrush saw it hit the ground near his hoof and thought Frost missed.

As Frost spin his other shuriken, the one he threw froze Landrush in place and he could not move. Landrush used his scythe to block the shuriken being thrown at him. When Frost was close enough, Landrush used his scythe to trip him up. When Frost was getting up, Landrush put the blade part of his scythe to keep him down. Landrush won this fight. Frost soon sat next to Thunder as Trail and Landrush ready to fight. "For the prize and the title of best ninja, blah, blah, ninja go." Gaia said as she wants to get it over with.

Both Trail and Landrush clashed weapons as soon as their match started. Both were giving their all as Trail thrust his sword at Landrush as he dodged it. Landrush then swung his scythe as Trail ducked under it. Landrush then flipped back before he struck the ground with his scythe, causing a tremor that knocked Trail down. As Landrush thought he won, Trail got up and was furious. He did Spinjitzu but stopped as he couldn't control his sword. "It's too hot!" Trail shouted as his sword was on fire.

"It's burning." Flash said when they saw what's happening.

"Fire!" Thunder shouted before Trail dropped the sword and the fire began to spread. The ninja had to do something quickly before the fire burned down the monastery. Landrush try to put it out with his scythe by hitting the flames with the side as Trail was surrounded by the flames. Wu came out to find out of control flames. Wu walked through them before he picked up the Shurikens of Ice and toss them into the air. Wu then concentrate as the sherkins flew in sink before sitting down some ice as they flew around and put up the fire. The ninja watch as they did, even putting out one that was on Thunder's tail. Wu then cought them when the fire was out before he glared at them.

"What were you thinking?!" Wu scold them.

"Uh, we were trying to figure out who was the light ninja." Thunder explained before Gaia hit him. "Ow! Uh, heh, did I say light ninja? No, sorry, ahem, what I meant was night... uh..."

"You were not supposed to see this." Wu said as he knew that they saw the prophecy.

"But sensei, we wanna know. Which one of us is the chosen one?" Trail asked him.

"None of you, if you don't unlock your full potential." Wu told them.

"But Trail's sword, it was so bright. Is this what you meant by unlocking our golden weapons?" Flash asked Wu.

"You are only at the beginning, and the road is long and winding." Wu told them. "But yes, this is what I meant. If this is what it must take for you to train, then so be it. But none of you are near the level of what it takes to be the light ninja." He said before he went back inside.

In Ponyville, Aqua was looking around at the markets till she ran into Big Mac and his wife, Sugar Bell. "Oh hey, you're Applejack's big brother, Big Mac, right?" Aqua asked.

"Eeyep." Big Mac said. "And you're that red ninja's sister, Aqua Stream." He and Sugar Bell shook her hoof. "It's nice to meet you."

"Sorry about that false alarm before." Sugar Bell told Aqua. "I'm surprised that Lord Garmadon has a son. Isn't he about over a thousand years ago?" Before Aqua could say anything, they heard ponies screaming in fear.

"What now?" Aqua asked as they see ponies running away from something.

"Take the candy! Take it all!" Lloyd commanded before cackling with a wheelbarrow full of candy. Aqua, Big Mac, and Sugar Bell looked before they saw who or what was following Lloyd. The hypnobrai serpentine are in the village. The general of the hypnobrai use his power to hypnotize a few ponies nearby as their eyes turn red with swirls in them.

"This makes no sssense, general." A Serpentine said. "Reading an entire town for sssweets?"

"You will do as I command, because I hold the ssstaff." The general told the serpentine. Aqua, Big Mac, and Sugar Bell were hiding so that they won't get hypnotized.

Back of the monastery, the ninjas are training hard as master Wu was meditating in his room. Wu then got a vision of the serpentine and Lloyd attacking Ponyville.

"The Serpentine are back!" Wu told the ninjas when he came out. "Everypony in Ponyville is in danger!"

"Calm down, sensei. We were just there." Landrush told him. "It was some kid who says he's-"

"The spirit smoke does not lie." Wu interrupted. "An ancient evil has been released."

"Aqua's there right now." Trail said in a worry tone.

"Aqua?" Thunder asked before they rushed to their dragons. This time, they got on their dragons with no problems or sloppy work.

"Stay close, stay together." Flash told the others as their dragons took off.

"Would we do it any other way?" Landrush asked as they flew to Ponyville. Back in Ponyville, ponies were running away as LIoyd was enjoying the candy he stole.

"I'm never coming down from this sugar high." Lloyd said before the ninja appeared infront of him.

"Sorry to burst your buzz, little Garmadon." Gaia told Lloyd.

"But it's already past your bedtime." Thunder said.

"Get them!" Lloyd told the general.

The general rattled his tail before he commanded his army. "Sseize them!" He ordered. The Serpentine did what he command and charged at the ninjas.

"The Serpentine? They're real?" Trail asked when he saw them. As the serpentine surrounded them from the front, the ponies of Ponyville who are hypnotized came at them from the back.

"It's not just them we have to worry about." Landrush said as he looked behind him and sees the hypnotized ponies. "The whole village has been hypnotized." As both sides got closer, Thunder took out his nunchucks and spin them around before Frost stopped him.

"No. Are weapons are too unstable. We could do more harm than good." Frost told Thunder.

"I guess that leaves us with, RUN!" Thunder shouted as they made a run for it. They jumped up to the buildings roofs before they made their way down an ally. As they thought it was all clear, someponies found them. It was Aqua, Big Mac, Sugar Bell, and the main six.

"Aqua? You're okay." Thunder said when he saw her.

"Barely. They hypnotize everypony in town." Aqua told them.

"I just still can't believe that the serpentine are real." Rainbow Dash said.

"Mind control. How is this possible?" Gaia asked.

"When you hear them rattle their tails, don't look in them in the eyes. That's how they get you." Sugar Bell told them.

"Eeyep." Big Mac said.

"What are we supposed to do? We can't use our weapons, and now we have to fight with our eyes closed? Ha! Prefect." Thunder complained.

"There is a way to snap everypony out of it. I asked Zecora and she told me how to save them." Twilight spoke up. "The snake with the staff is the general. He's the one in charge. If we can get the staff from him, it holds the antivenom. If we get that, we can save everypony."

"Look, guys. Forget about the whole light ninja thing." Flash told the other ninjas. "Let's make sensei proud. All six of us, we're a team."

"Now you're talking." Landrush said.

"Oh, and girls, you all can be are honorary member." Thunder told Aqua and the main six, making both Trail and Flash hit their own heads.

"Gee, thanks." Aqua said sarcastically. They each headed out for the staff but Applejack looked back at her brother and sister-in-law.

"Y'all stay safe now." Applejack told before she went out. The ninja, Aqua, and the girls stick to the rooftops as they made their way to the staff. Trail jumped on the ground as hypnobrai serpentine had him surrounded.

"You wanna play?" Trail asked. "How about a little Spinjitzu? NINJA, GO!" He did Spinjitzu at two of them before he bumped a Fruit Stand and bananas fell on the ground. As he continue to Spinjitzu, Trail slipped on the bananas and hit a wall before he fell back.

"Okay, we're really out of shape." Thunder said when he saw what happened with Trail. As the serpentine laughed at that, Trail quickly got up and punched two of them that were behind him. Twilight jumped down and had the staff in her sights. She was about to go after it before serpentine had surrounded her.

"Twilight!" Flash shouted when he saw her surrounded. Just before he was about to jump down to save her, to his surprise, Twilight did Spinjitzu. Twilight's Spinjitzu was light purple with sparkles. She knocked the serpentine surrounding her back. "W-What...?"

"I asked Wu to give me and my friends some private lessons on Spinjitzu!" Twilight explained when she stop. "Me and the girls know it now! Have to be prepared just in case!"

"Ha! Consider this a warning, ninja!" Lloyd told them as he made a run for it with the candy. On a rooftop, Frost threw his shurikens infront of Lloyd's path and they froze when thet hit the ground. Lloyd didn't see them and the wheelbarrow bumped and tipped over, spilling all the candy he stole. "My candy!" He shouted when it did as Frost jumped down and Spinjitzu his way over to him.

"Sensei was right. Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today. We should've dealt with you the first time around." Frost said.

"Retreat!" Lloyd called out.

"Retreat!" The general repeated to his army. At the serpentine scattered, Landrush did a flying drop kick at the general and knocked the staff out of his hands and it fell to the ground.

"Go ahead, give me a reason." Landrush threatened the general as he walked up to pick up the staff while the general ran away. Landrush got a good look at the staff once he had it. But when he looked up from it, one serpentine remained and it rattle its tail for it used its power on him.

"Look into my eyesss." The serpentine said. "I control you."

"You control..." Landrush repeated before somepony called out to him and snap him out of it.

"Landrush!" Aqua called out before she ran at the serpentine who was about to take the staff and kicked him in the face. Landrush turned to leave, for he forgotten what he was doing. "You have the antivenin." She told him. Landrush stopped and shook his head before remembering.

"By golly, you're right!" Landrush said as hold up the staff.

"Landrush, place it in the fountain!" Twilight told him.

"Good idea." Landrush said as he ran up to the fountain before placing the staff in it. The antivenin flow out and turn the water into a vapor as it begins to snap the residence of Ponyville out of it. Sensei Wu had arrived there as Trail hold the staff and walked up to him.

"We're sorry, sensei." Trail said. "If we had dealt with Lloyd before he became a problem, none of this would have been necessary."

"Even lessons learned the hard way are lessons learned." Wu said as he stroke his beard. "Hm. A great evil has been released. I fear troubling times will come. This is only the beginning." He said as he took the staff.

"Then we will train and be ready for the serpentine." Frost said.

"It me not be Lord Garmadon, but that doesn't mean we won't bring our A game." Landrush said.

"Help us train, help us realize our potential." Flash asked Wu.

"And most of all, help us unlock the power our weapons hold." Gaia asked.

"Yeah, teach us the secrets behind the weapons of Spinjitzu." Thunder asked.

"Hm. There is much to teach. We must return to the monastery." Wu told them before they, along with the main six walked back to the dragons before Aqua sigh.

"When am I gonna get my own dragon?" Aqua asked.

"Patience, Aqua." Wu told her. "Your time will come. Yours and one other." He whispered before he looked back at Twilight.

Lloyd in the serpentine return to the tomb the mountains and his stomach was aching. "Uh, candy. I need candy." He said as he clutched his stomach.

"The boy set us free." The general told the serpentine next to him.

"He is a child. He is not one of usss." This serpentine told the general.

"I may not have the staff, but I am still your general. Stand down!" The general shouted at him. This serpentine walked away from the general before another walked up to him.

"You coward. We all know he's under Lloyd's spell. You are second in command, and still need to do nothin, Scales?" This Serpentine asked.

"Now was not the time." Scales said. " I still hold the key to destroy the ninja, and when I do that, everyone will see it is I who should be in control." In his eyes, he sees the ninja, the main six, Aqua, and Wu inside the monastery through the eyes of Landrush. For he is still under Scales' control.
