Everlasting Nightmares In Sinnoh
Chapter One: Briefing
On a sunny day in Sinnoh's Solaceon Town, two Pokémon trainers stood opposite each other, the one to the right was Luna, a sixteen-year-old girl with cream skin, green brown eyes and long thick waist length purple and lilac hair. She was wearing a full sleeved black and purple top over a belt, black jeans and sparkly low top black and purple Converses. A black beanie cap sat on her head. While her opponent was Nick, a brown haired fifteen-year-old boy.
Nick threw a poke ball, revealing a Hitmonchan, it stood still. Luna followed suit, only her poke ball resulted in a Gengar.
"Hitmonchan, Mach Punch"
Hitmonchan's fist glowed white and it struck Gengar, only to hit thin air.
"You should plan your strategy better." Said Luna. "Gengar, Dark Pulse!"
Gengar shot a stream of black and purple circles from its hands which knocked Hitmonchan to the ground.
"Hitmonchan, get back up and use Fire Punch"
Hitmonchan struggled to its feet and its right hand was surrounded by fire, it swung its burning hand at Gengar. Luna saw this, she reacted quickly and uttered the words on her tongue.
"Gengar, Hypnosis, now!" Luna commanded.
Gengar put its hands together, releasing black circles that expanded as they reached Hitmonchan, putting it to sleep.
"Hitmonchan, get up"
But Hitmonchan was fast asleep, Luna now had an advantage so she took it.
"Gengar, let's capitalise, Dream Eater attack" snapped Luna.
A shadow like version of Gengar shot out, it went through Hitmonchan and sucked up its energy.
"No, Hitmonchan"
Hitmonchan fainted, it was unable to do more.
"Hitmonchan is unable to battle, Gengar wins"
"Hitmonchan, return" Nick held out Hitmonchan's poke ball, returning it safely.
"Gengar, return" Luna used Gengar's poke ball to call it back.
"Your Hitmonchan fought well and so did you" Luna complimented.
Luna extended her hand and Nick shook it.
"We're gonna learn from this defeat and next time we'll be stronger"
Meanwhile, a small grey Cessna 177 with a large red R on its fuselage and tail, was flying towards a runway near a mountain range. Before long, it lowered, landing on the runway and taxiing into a small hangar underneath. After the plane had stopped, a Team Rocket Executive and four High Ranking Officers for Team Rocket stepped out from the doors on either side.
The executive was a man named Archer with short teal hair and cruel green eyes, the high ranking officers consisted of Fidel, a young man with shoulder length petrol blue hair and grey eyes. While his partner, Castro had wildly spiked brown hair and eyes along with a muscular physique. The third man's name was Lester and he wore a bandanna over his blond hair. His partner Gillis had black hair and blue eyes. The automatic door to the side opened, the four officers and Archer walked through it.
Once the Team Rocket men had entered the hallway, a grey-haired man in a lab coat with a monocle over his right eye, came walking up, his dress shoes clicked on the hard floor.
"Ah, Hello, Archer, I trust you had a very pleasant journey, and who are these officers?" said Doctor Vector
"Yes, thank you, and I have recruited four of the best officers in Team Rocket, Doctor." Responded Archer. "Please meet Fidel, Castro, Lester and Gillis."
"It's nice to meet you all." Doctor Vector said calmly.
"You as well, Doctor." Said Fidel. "My partner Castro is the foremost wrangler, isn't that right, Castro."
"Nothing I can't catch, provided I have the right gear, of course" Castro said proudly.
"Excellent, the gear is most right, if you'll kindly follow me, you'll find this darkening"
Doctor Vector led Archer and the others into a control room, in which a yellow and purple crystal were held in two separate metal grids.
"Is that it?" asked Fidel
"Yes, it is, Fidel, the Wonder Crystals, once activated they can control darkness and light, we've prepared a little demonstration, let us begin"
"Yes, sir"
"Prepare the artificial Dark Void and Lunar Dance"
The workers followed Doctor Vector's instruction, several rods came out of the rafters, the ends glowed and streams of black and purple energy spheres shot out. While this happened, the Wonder Crystals glowed brightly and a yellow force field surrounded it. The artificial Dark Void hit the force field, before four rods came out of ground, the rods began to glow purple, before shooting a purple light upwards.
"The crystal will absorb every last part of the darkness that passes within ten feet of it" explained Doctor Vector "No matter how powerful or concentrated the darkness, the crystal captures and stores it in its central grid and then the power belongs to you and you can use it however you please". "The brilliant part is that anything dark is drawn to it and the crystal doesn't only capture the energy, it also attracts it by emitting a charge that is so irresistible that anything dark is attracted to it"
The Wonder Crystal glowed along with its barrier, the rods that surrounded had now lit up and projected bright yellow light that the dark energy from the crystal put out, before creating a black barrier.
"But as you five already know, we're not after light"
"No, we're not"
"If this works as you say, it'll only be a short while before the world is covered in complete darkness and everyone will have unending nightmares"
"Trust me, it'll work as I say"
