ESKK: Hey this is a reboot of my old DXD Hack GU story going to rework a lot of things and while the basic premise was solid the execution was poor. So here we go, let's begin.

(Start)

In the darkness of the City of Kuoh Town the darkness was threatened by another. A young man with brown hair with a chocolate brown set of eyes that could pass as red who was a wearing black and white stipe T-Shirt, regular jeans, and a black coat with fur on the hood was walking through the City of Kuoh's darkness as it seemed he was just a regular person. As he walked, he arrived at what looked like a late-night fast-food place as he saw that many young people were enjoying the city's night life. He then took out his cell phone and turned it on as it was a touch screen as he scrolled through the messages and found the location, he needed to get to in one of the messages.

He saw it wasn't that far away as he then nodded and began to take his leave to find the area in question to deal with whatever his contact had asked him to deal with. As he walked, he ignored the young girls breaking curfew as they whispered about him how he seemed very mysterious.

(Later abandoned warehouse Kuoh City)

The young man walked into the warehouse as he saw it was the right address as he looked around for the target his tip told him about. "My, oh my." Came a new voice as the boy didn't seem scared as he kept walking in. "What a cute little boy who has walked in." A female voice said as the young man stopped at the center of the room as he saw this place was something only a spider would enjoy. "The spider had told the fly welcome to my parlor." The female voice said as a naked woman soon appeared as her breasts bounced as she smiled at the young man with a seductive look upon her face. "But like the spider you won't be leaving here ever again little boy." She said in a voice belonging to a dominatrix as soon she became monstrous as she laughed at the young man firing a large web at him, but the boy avoided it by jumping back and landing a bit away.

"Octa... the Stray Devil in this area, right?" He asked as he looked to Octa unimpressed as Octa was shocked to hear she was known by a human boy of all things. "I'll take that as a yes." He said as he a red light appeared in his hand before forming into a scythe with jagged edges as even his form changed to one similar to a fantasy game hero with a lot of black belts.

"TERROR GEAR!" The scythe called out as it formed in the young man's hand.

"If that's the case then I'll have to take you down." The young man said as the Stray Devil glared.

"Like Hell!" She roared before she began to attack as the young man began to swing his scythe around with expert skill avoiding and blocking the attacks with ease even sending a few in of his own. The Woman glared as she fired a web at the young man's scythe before yanking as he was forced to let go but the scythe then vanished cut off from its holder.

"Now you are disarmed!" She taunted as the young man looked as she didn't care if his weapon was gone.

"Weapon switch." He said as soon a red light appeared in his hand as he charged and swung down revealing a large claymore weapon with a chainsaw like spot for the edges. The Spider like Stray was caught off guard as the young man charged forward as he cut through her webs with ease as the blades spun like an actual chainsaw as he swung it around even as it made him slow. She was then on him as she laughed at him.

"Got you!" She roared out as the young man smirked as he had more tricks up his sleeve.

"Weapon Switch." HE said as soon two dagger weapons formed in his hands as he used them to catch her claw strike from her leg as he smirked at her. "Oh, I'm sorry you had me?" HE taunted as the woman roared out in fury before the young man cut the leg off causing her to cry out in pain. He then jumped back as he smirked at her. "Weapon switch." He called out again as he then aimed and began firing at her as the bullets flew straight at her from his two oddly designed handguns as she tried to avoid them, but she was hit as she cried out in pain as the young man wasn't done.

"Once more." He said as he then switched to his claymore/chainsaw weapon and then swung as the weapon hit where her mutated human part met with her demonic spider part as the saw spun and then shredded the two parts apart. "And the finale." He said as soon his weapon was replaced with the scythe once more as he held it to her neck.

"Y-you... your Haseo... the Terror of Death... aren't you." She gasped in shock at what and who she was met with as she had heard the rumors and knew his nickname did him great justice as she was terrified of dying now.

"Yeah... I am." He said before slicing her head off before she could scream as soon her body began to dissolve as the young man took his leave. "Better head back..." He said as he walked. "I got school in the morning." He said as he walked away no doubt to head home.

(Scene Break the next day Kuoh Academy)

Kuoh Academy, a former all-girls private school that was recently turned into a co-ed school. Haseo or as his full name stated Ryou Misaki, nicknamed Haseo was at first reluctant to attend such a prestigious academy, since the tuition fee was quite high, and he was worried if his mother could shoulder the burden to pay his study. However, the tuition fee was no longer a problem since his house always received a package with quite amount of cash, which his mother assume those money are from his travelling father who works for Cyber Connection Corporation who was working on a brand new VRMMORPG, so Haseo decided to go along with it. After spending more than a year in Kuoh, Haseo has to admit that it was pretty much a good place.

Currently, our Terror of Death who was dressed in the male's school uniform was having a quick nap during the break time. It was just another day, where Haseo would go to school, chatting with his well odd choice of friends, and go home. After a few moments of peace, he heard movements from nearby. Opening his eyes, he saw his friends all standing there. Yuuichi Morino, Kouta Maki, Chigusa Kusaka, and Chika Kuramoto. They commonly get called Silabus, Gaspard, Atoli, and Alkaid, respectively.

They had been friends since the first day of Kuoh after they got enrolled. His social group was small and most of the group had joined varying clubs. Its been more or less lonely for them but nothing major on their part.

"Come on Haseo you can't laze around like this." Atoli said as she was scolding Haseo.

"Give me a break." Haseo sighed as he sat up to look to them. "So, what's going on?" Haseo asked while looking to his group of friends.

"The short of it, the Student Body President is getting on our asses about you not joining a club." Alkaid said as the red head gave Haseo an annoyed look.

"Yeah, I swear she's zeroing in on us because of you." Silabus said with a sigh knowing how Haseo tended to be.

"Look if she has that much of a problem, she can bring it up with me." Haseo said as he stood up.

"I intend to." A new voice spoke and then to their shock the group looked and saw a young girl with glasses glaring at Haseo.

"How did she do that?" Gaspard asked surprised by the girls sudden appearance.

"Class President Sona." Haseo said with a sigh as he saw Sona was here with her friend.

"Haseo the constant malefactor of this academy." Sona said as she glared at Haseo.

Standing before him was a girl around the age of 17 with bob cut black hair, violet eyes behind red-rimmed glasses and fair skin. She wore the standard girls' uniform, which of course brought attention to her C-cup bust. There was also another girl standing behind her who was a head taller than the former girl was and had knee length black hair, brown eyes behind a pair of square, blue-rimmed glasses, and fair skin as well. She too wore the girls' uniform with the attention going to her DD-cup bust. These two were Sona Sitori and Tsubaki Shinra, the Student Council President and Vice President, respectively.

'I wonder if the guy who designed the girls' uniform wasn't some kind of pervert, I mean c'mon, your eyes are practically drawn to their chests and legs.' Haseo mused a bit before focusing on the current development. "What do you want?" Haseo asked already knowing what Sona wanted from him.

"I wished to speak with you about your attendance here at the school. It has come to my attention that you have yet to join any of the after-school club on campus. As you are aware, you are required to join a club in order to pass this year." Sona said making it clear that Haseo needed to join a club if he wanted to pass the year.

"Well, unfortunately I have no intention of joining a club; I'm just not the clubbing kind of guy." Haseo said as the only club he was a part off was mainly online ones. "Besides, I'm a little too busy after school anyways." Haseo added a bit as he knew his friends were amongst the only group aware of his side job.

Sona adjusted her glasses a bit as she looked to the group. "So, it would seem." Sona said with a calm yet slightly annoyed tone. "Am I to assume that it is true you are working after school? You are aware that it is against the rules for a student to have a job while attending high school." She said not even bothering to wait for Haseo to answer her question. "As such, I politely ask that you quit your job, or you will have to face disciplinary action." She said but then Haseo had enough.

"What I do or don't do after school is none of your business." Haseo said making it clear that Sona should butt out of his life. "Now if you'll excuse me my friends and I are going to go enjoy lunch elsewhere." Haseo said before taking his leave of Sona.

Sona made no move to stop him. The reason was because she knew she couldn't. She had been speaking to Haseo for over a year now trying to 'reform' him into a proper student. However, every time she tried, he would coolly and casually brush her off and walk away. This seemingly disrespectful display against the student council president had earned the boy the title of 'Cool Rebel' by the majority of the student body.

This wasn't the only title he earned as he had gained the admiration from over half of the female students thanks to his roguish good looks and his reputation of being a rebel. This earned him the title of 'Second Prince of Kuoh.' This of course earned him the ire of most of the male students.

As the group left Sona and Tsubaki glared at Haseo before Tsubaki spoke. "Are you just going to keep letting him go like that, Kaichou?" Tsubaki asked her voice showing a tone of concern and annoyance.

The student council president used her right hand to adjust her glasses as she closed her eyes and sighed. "It wouldn't do any good if I did try to go after him." Sona said as she spoke from personal experience. "He's not the kind that is concerned with authority. Even if I tried to discipline him, he would just view it as merely an inconvenience." Sona added which Tsubaki nodded in understanding. Even though she didn't like it, she had to agree.

"What shall we do with him, then?" Tsubaki asked not wanting to risk a threat roaming freely.

"We will continue to observe him, like always, to make sure that he isn't a threat to this school." Sona stated as the two left the classroom and started walking down the hallway.

"It still perplexes me how we still can't seem to be able to identify what manner of Sacred Gear he has even though he has been under our observation for over a year." Tsubaki said as they both knew it.

"Yes." Sona said as she agreed with Tsubaki. "Even from the first day it was easy to see that he had an active Sacred Gear but even after all this time we haven't come any closer to unraveling the mystery." Sona said knowing their methods of observations were limited. "Enough about him, though, we have some reports to go over." Sona said and thus she began to take her leave.

"Yes, Kaichou." Tsubaki said following after her leader.

(Over with Haseo's group)

"Haseo you really need to stop antagonizing her." Atoli said as Alkaid scoffed to this.

"Oh, come on little miss princess had it coming." Alkaid said with her hands behind her head. The group were seen walking their way across the school grounds in search of a nice, quiet spot to hang out. "Besides if they try something we kick their asses." Alkaid added which reminded Atoli.

"Haseo did you get hurt last night?" Atoli asked with concern in her voice for Haseo.

"No, I'm fine." Haseo said confirming that he was well.

"Haseo you shouldn't push yourself so casually like that." Atoli said as she looked to Haseo. "We're here to help you if you need it." Atoli said and thus Haseo sighed.

His friends group were the only ones who knew what was going on in his life. They either saw it firsthand or he straight out told them and gave them proof. He did it so he had a support group for when things get out of hand or stressful.

"I'm fine Atoli honest." Haseo said as they continued to walk.

"Well, we're here to help when you need it Haseo." Gaspard said smiling to Haseo.

"Thanks." Haseo said grateful for the help. But as they were getting closer to the entrance, Haseo stopped and looked up for a moment. He then caught sight of someone eyeing him from the upper floor of the building. What, Haseo saw when he fixed his eyes on his spectator was a long, crimson-red hair. The owner of the hair is a woman in in her late teens with light skin, teal-colored eyes, and a buxom figure, as her upper body was shown from window frame. Haseo looked up at her for a moment recognizing who she was exactly. Rias Gremory, a third-year student, the most popular girl on the school and also one of 'Kuoh's Two Great Ladies'.

Rolling his eyes Haseo focused on his path and remained with his friends for now. He didn't like this school that much but had no choice but to comply for now.

(With Rias)

"Is there something you found amusing, buchou (president)?" a voice asked her from behind. Rias turned around to see her close friend, another young woman with a buxom figure around the same age as Rias with very long black hair and violet eyes. Her hair is tied in a long ponytail, reaching all the way down to her legs with two strands sticking out from the top and sloping backwards, with an orange ribbon keeping it in place.

"Akeno." Rias replied addressing the woman as Himejima Akeno, another third year, the second most popular girl after Rias and also one of Two Great Ladies. She also serves as Rias' 'queen,' and making Rias the heiress of Gremory clan, a family of devils that serves within seventy-two pillars of devil's society. "Did you see that boy with silver hair just now?" Rias asked as she pointed at Haseo who finally arrived at the entrance. Akeno who barely managed to see Haseo's face from the window before disappeared through the entrance to rejoin his friends, paused as she ran through her head for a while.

"If I'm not mistaken that's Misaki Ryou commonly known as Haseo." Akeno said recalling who the boy exactly was. "Fu, fu; fu, how strange… isn't he one of the two you've been setting your eyes on for this past year?" asked Akeno after she remembered about her junior. Apparently, Rias has been keeping an eye on Haseo and one other ever since they started Kuoh.

"Indeed, he is, Akeno… And from that brief exchange earlier, my instinct were confirmed that this boy will be interesting." I'm definitely going to make one of them of not both join my peerage this year." Rias replied with a resolute smile. "That Haseo fellow seems like a Knight at best but I'm not sure he could even pass as a rook for all I know but something is... familiar about Haseo." Rias said as she looked to the mentioned boy not by a possible past meeting but like his demeanor is familiar." Rias said as she walked over to a Chess game she was playing.

'But also, they might be the key to my freedom as well…' Rias thought with a hint of regret. "By the way, this is your last chance, Sona. Are you sure not want to give him a shot?" Rias asked towards a person who was sitting across the game from her.

The said person is a young bespectacled woman in her late teens with a slim figure, black hair styled in a short bob cut and violet eyes, and the young woman was reading a book. "We've settled this a while back, Rias… I've already picked a candidate of my own with Misaki-san being first come first serve. Besides, I doubt that Hyoudou-san will fit into student council, let alone my peerage." replied the woman known as Shitori Sona, A.K.A. Sona Sitri, the third most popular girl and the current student council president. She is also a devil, the heiress of the Sitri clan who also serves within seventy-two pillars.

Haseo was very heavy target for them on recruitment due to the fact he seems to carry himself in a way that he is aware but doesn't act upon it openly. They think he may be involved with the Fallen Angels, but it seemed they were observing him more than working with him. If that was the case Haseo was a wild card and most likely had been neutral with no allegiance to any faction in Kuoh.

"Well, suit yourself. I guess I have to keep my eyes even closer to him…" Rias said as she left the game paused for now, followed by her queen, since her own class was starting soon.

(Scene Break after School)

The group were exiting the grounds as they were discussing anything that came to mind. "So, you guys heard that Issei got himself a date?" Silabus asked as they began to make their way back to their homes.

"Yeah, apparently some girl from another school came up to him and asked him out." Alkaid said with a bored tone showing she was not interested in any form of gossip. "Personally, I find it hard to believe anyone would want to date that little creep." Alkaid added which caused Atoli to sigh a bit.

"It's not that bad." Atoli said as she walked with the group. "She might even be a good influence on him." She said trying to see the best in people.

"That's not what you said when we caught him peeping on us the other day." Alkaid said with a wry smirk on her face. This caused Atoli to clam up and go quiet knowing Alkaid had her on that.

Soon enough they arrived at the intersection where they would each head home. "Anyway, I'll see you guys Saturday." Haseo said as he needed to get home.

"Alright see you." Silabus said with Gaspard nodding in agreement with Silabus. Soon enough they parted ways heading out on their own.

"See you later, Haseo." Alkaid said as she walked off to head home as well.

"Bye Haseo." Atoli said as they parted ways from there. Silabus and Gaspard went in one direction, Atoli went on another, and Alkaid went to the third direction.

Waving them off Haseo smiled before he took his leave as well to head on home. As he walked, he could not help but think of the things going on in his life while heading home. He awoken this power he had a few years back and ever since he had these winged beings coming after him. If it weren't for Azazel, he'd probably be dead in a ditch somewhere. It helped but Haseo had other issues to deal with.

(Later Rias club room)

"I see." Rias said as with her was Akeno as Rias who was currently sitting was looking down at her chessboard

"Sure enough, your hunch was…" The shorter girl Koneko Tenjou started as Kiba looked at this.

"...right on the mark?" Akeno finished as she looked do Rias's game.

"For both of them." Kiba said as it seems both Issei and Haseo were targets of the Fallen Angel.

"It appears that I as right to have you keep an eye on the both of them." Rias said as she eyed her opponents moves and thought of what piece to grab next.

"Buchou, what shall we do?" Akeno asked as she looked to Rias.

"We shall make our preparations, at least." She reached down to the chessboard in front of her and grabbed a white bishop piece. "However, it all depends on them." She placed it down, ending her turn as she knew recruiting both Haseo and Issei into her peerage will be hard since Sona was eying Haseo as well.

(Scene Break Sunday Kuoh Town Shopping District)

Haseo was on his way to meet up with his friends. They try to hang out on days like this when they had all their schoolwork done. Thankfully, none of them had any major projects going on so they were in the clear. They were planning to hang out today since they don't get the chance to do it very often due to clashing schedules on all their parts. As Haseo walked though he could not help but feel that something about today was amiss. He could not explain it, but something was odd to say the least. The more he walked though the more he felt something drawing him towards a destination he knew not.

He soon passed by a shop, but it wasn't like every other shop in the district. The shop was rustic and rather old, in contrast with the shops it tucked in between, which were very bright and colorful. He looked inside and saw that it had no lighting. But from what he could see was a lot of empty shelves, though he could still see that there were a few things still on a few of the shelves in there. And from what he could tell, each item was unique and handcrafted from the very wood the floor was made out of. Haseo looked up and saw what the place was called.

Valefor's

The Unique Antique Shop

Looking at the store in question Haseo could not help but feel some sort of pull coming from it. It was like something inside was calling to him to come in. Shrugging a bit Haseo began to make his way inside to investigate the pull all the while ready in case this shop was a trap. He went in and looked around. He didn't know how but the place looked even older inside than outside. Although surprisingly clean, it had a sense of… ancientness. Like the very few antiques there were over hundreds, thousands of years old with millions of stories to tell. But it also had a slightly creepy tone to everything, which made Haseo a bit nervous that this was a stray.

"Yo anyone home you got a possible customer!" Haseo called as he looked around for the store's owner.

"HUH!? WHAT THE HELL!?" An elderly voice exclaimed before Haseo heard a lot of crashing coming from the back of the shop before an old man popped up from behind the counter, "Ah! Sorry, hello! Welcome to Valefor's! How may I help you sir?" He asked as he looked to Haseo who swore to God that he has seen this guy before somewhere somehow.

"Just looking around honestly with no one attending the shop I got a bit concerned." Haseo said as the man saw Haseo was just giving him a hand. Or so Haseo claimed but somehow the Terror of Death swore this man saw right through him.

"…Okay!" The Valefor's shopkeeper said happily as Haseo found this man to be a tad bit eccentric. "I do have one recommendation for you if you're interested in buying." The man said smiling to Haseo. "Wait a moment please." He then ducked down behind the counter before Haseo started hearing a lot of metal and various other materials getting knocked around.

Soon enough the old man popped up again, causing him to jump back in surprised for the first time in a while. "Here you go sir." He said as he gave the master thief a dark wooden box with a handle and a chessboard pattern on it. "A chess set made in 1591, used by Oda Nobuna herself during the unification of Japan. Found this for cheap and in great condition." He explained as Haseo saw this thing looked like it could fit the description so either he was a scam artist, or he was gullible. But upon looking at the chess set Haseo saw that it seemed like the old man has been taking care of it for a long time and by the looks of it looking for someone to pass it on to.

Haseo opened up the box and saw the chess pieces within. What caused some confusion however was that the black pieces were made out of wood and had a subtle tint of red to it and the white pieces were made out of cheap plastic. He also noted that there was a folded piece of paper in it, which he assumed was the instructions on how to play chess, and a rather strange circular symbol drawn inside the box. It also had a slight red tint to it but all in all Haseo knew a fake when he saw one, but this man seemed very intent on passing it on to someone new.

"This is perfect, but who is Oda Nobuna? I never heard of her before." Haseo had to ask for business sake and possibly to look her up since he never heard of this Oda Nobuna. Then again, the Terror of Death may not have been paying attention in class at the time.

"Well, let's just say she was great king." The old man answered with a smile, to the Epitaph User.

"Heh 'A great king'…" Haseo muttered to himself before he realized something. This man may be fibbing, and this Oba lady must have been someone dear to him with the way he talked. Haseo didn't want her last item to be lost so easily.

"Do you wish to buy this? This chess set is yours for only 17,867 Yen." He offered as Haseo then smiled a bit as he saw he might as well humor the man and make sure it goes to someone who can really appreciate the feelings that were inside this item here.

"Here you go. Thank you." Haseo said as he gave the money, grabbed the chess set and left the shop. As Haseo left he failed to see the man was smiling at the Terror of Death in a humorous way.

Once he was outside Haseo placed the chess set in his bag and began to head out to meet up with his friends. Unaware to him the set was giving off a glow while inside his bag its aura awoken by an exterior force and was ready to do what it had been tasked to do. Unaware to Haseo his entire life was about to change for him and his friends.

"Wait a minute isn't that; Issei?" Haseo asked when he noted Issei walking through town with who he was assuming was Issei's date.

(With Issei and Yuuma)

It has been the best day in Issei short but mostly wonderful life. The date he had planned to the last detail had gone off without a hitch and he had a lot of fun, and it looked like Yuuma-chan did too. He had absolutely no idea who this girl was before the date, but he didn't care. God had sent him an angel that would love him until the world ended. He may have had a little bit of bad luck with women (okay, maybe a lot of bad luck) but now he was given the chance, his dreams were coming true. He might finally be able to build the harem he always wanted. Anyway, the sun was setting as they got to the park, signaling that their date was going to end soon. Issei knew from various types of media that this was the perfect scene for the Goodbye Kiss, sealing their relationship. It would also be his first kiss ever and that what made the prospect of it even that much sweeter.

"Hey, Issei-kun?" Yuuma spoke up, snapping him out of his thoughts.

"What is it, Yuuma-chan?" He replied, with a smile on his face.

"Can I ask you a question?" She asked as Issei smiled as he knew what she was going to ask him.

'Finally! The moment has arrived!' He thought, 'The Goodbye Kiss in the park after sunset on the first date!' "Su-Sure, what is it?" He asked as he rubbed the back of his head. She turned to him as she gave him her brightest smile.

"Would you die for me?" She asked him as that was not what he had expected on this date today.

The sound of tires screeching was heard in Issei's head as soon as he heard that. He had completely forgotten about the Goodbye Kiss and was just thinking about what Yuuma meant. 1) Yuuma had just asked him was just a different way of asking if he would do anything for her, 2) She was a top-secret agent recruiting for some awesome secret mission that end up with him in her pants or 3) She was really going to kill him.

He really hoped it wasn't that last one.

"E-Eh…? Um, sorry, could you repeat that?" Issei asked nervously,

"Would you die for me?" She had asked again, except this time her voice changed into something more evil, as her once bright smiled turned into a sadistic grin as she revealed her pitch-black wings while right hand glowed, "These past couple of hours I spent with you, were a lot of fun." She said as a spear of light formed in her hand,

'What the Hell is going on!?' Issei thought. His mind was screaming at him to run but his body wouldn't move. This was it. Today was the day he was going to die. Well, he would be thinking that if she weren't interrupted by a fist flying into her face. Raynare was smashed into the ground, leaving a small crater as Haseo was revealed to be the owner of that fist.

"Issei are you ok?" Haseo asked with concern for the pervert.

"Yeah." Issei responded as he looked to Haseo with gratitude.

But before anything could be done Haseo saw movement from Raynare before he jumped off her and pushed Issei out of the way. Standing away from her Haseo reached behind his person and began to pull out a pair of daggers that shook showing they had a built-in engine. At the same time the winged woman summoned a spear of light and prepared to unleash it upon Haseo.

"Issei run!" Haseo called out and thus Issei was surprised by this.

"Oh no you don't!" Raynare cried out and went after Issei only to be stopped by Haseo who stopped her attack with his daggers before kicking her stomach and sending her tumbling back.

Issei saw this and was shocked when he suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder. "Come on." Alkaid was heard as she had a grip on Issei's arm.

"We need to get out of here." Silabus said and thus they began to run for it.

Meanwhile Haseo continued to fight the woman with his daggers intent on taking her out before she can cause harm here. Moving out of the way of her attack Haseo pulled out his scythe and spun it against his enemy here. They fought for a bit as Haseo spung his scythe in a way showing he had expert experience with it until they parted once more.

"Talk bitch why do you want to kill Issei?" Haseo asked wanting answers from her.

"You should already know. He cannot live any longer!" Raynare answered before jumping up and throwing her light spears at Haseo. Haseo avoided them as Raynare glared at Haseo ready to kill him here and now. "If I had known you were a Sacred Gear User to, I'd have gone for you first." Raynare said as she then went after Haseo. Sending down a few light spears Raynare managed to disarm Haseo causing her to smirk at this. But she was then caught off guard when Haseo blocked her attack with a claymore that had chainsaw teeth that began grinding.

"So, your Sacred Gear makes any weapon you can imagine." Raynare said with a smirk on her face. "Interesting." Raynare said as she got ready to get up close and personal with Haseo. Moving after him Raynare began to attack Haseo who avoided her initial attacks and swung his sword at Raynare who narrowly avoided losing a limb when she saw the blade grinding. She then blocked another attack with her spear of Light but then Haseo's saw began to grind causing sparks to fly out from the weapons friction.

Just then Raynare roared and proceeded to disarm Haseo of his weapon only to find herself face to face with his palm. Then a glow came from it causing Raynare to go wide eyed and move back to avoid a point-blank magic-based shot. But using the chance Haseo fired off more beams of magic at Raynare who flew around avoiding the attacks. This went on for a bit up until Raynare decided to return fire. She then sent down several spears of light at Haseo who avoided them all as best he could. She was barraging him with these attacks forcing Haseo to go defensive.

Moving and avoiding the attacks Haseo switched over to his twin guns and opened fire on Raynare who avoided the bullets. With the advantage with flight Raynare provide to be a troubling foe for Haseo but the Terror of Death held his ground against her. Raynare was having some real difficulty dodging everything before having to duck under something that was about to hit her in the back of her head. She quickly threw a few light spears just so they would stop shooting at her before she went to see who tried to nail her, only for her to smirk evilly at the sight.

Standing there was Issei, holding a rock in his left hand and a branch in his right. "Issei?!" Haseo cried out as soon enough the others arrived.

"Sorry, Haseo he slipped past us." Alkaid said as she ran over to try and get Issei out of here and to safety.

"Issei, I told you to run!" Haseo roared as he glared at Issei. Issei knew he should've, but he also knew that he couldn't but Haseo and his friends a group who barely even spoke to him was fighting Yuuma to protect him, a normal guy who really loves boobs. So, like Hell he was going to leave them alone to fight his murderous date, even though they were better equipped, a lot more skilled and all he had was a big stick.

Okay, on second thought, maybe he should've run away. But he was here now, and he was scared shitless.

"Well, look who's back?" Raynare said as she grinned evilly. Issei politely responded by throwing another rock at her. Raynare just tilted her head out of the way of the rock before flying towards her target. Issei panicked as he feebly tried to shield himself with his stick when Haseo came down and nearly cleaved Raynare in two forcing her to avoid it.

"Are you ok?" Haseo asked which Issei nodded.

"Yeah, and sorry." Issei apologized since this was all because of him.

"It's fine." Haseo said before everyone heard clapping from near-by. They looked around for a few seconds only to find that it was another Fallen Angel that had been clapping. She was blonde with blue eyes and wearing Gothic Lolita outfit.

"Hey, why are you taking so long? Have you killed that guy yet!?" The Lolita, Mitteit, called out, wanting answers.

"Does it LOOK LIKE I KILLED HIM YET!?" Raynare shouted at her fellow Fallen Angel as she pointed at her target. "His pal here has a sacred gear, and I can sense at least one other sacred gear also." Raynare said trying to figure out who has the other Sacred Gear in this group.

"So, I'm assuming that's a 'no'." Milltelt said before giggling. "Well, lucky for you, I called in a few favors." And with that, she snapped her fingers as a couple dozen Fallen Angels flew in behind her, "Should this be enough to kill this human?" Milltelt asked as Raynare just nodded in response. In turn all the Fallen Angels started making light spears in each hand. "Good. Now surround them." Milltelt said before the Fallen Angel Army nodded as they surrounded the group.

"Now, we're giving you one last chance. Let us kill the boy and we'll make sure you won't feel a thing." She said which meant one thing.

"We've seen to much so we're going to die regardless is that it?" Haseo asked as Alkaid glared at the Fallen Angels.

"Your smart, of course that's what going to happen." Raynare said and thus Haseo looked to his friends who nodded in understanding.

If Haseo was going to go down, he was going down swinging and taking as many of these fuckers down with him. "Go to hell!" Haseo roared and charged into the fight despite being outnumbered a hundred to one. His only hope was to make an opening so his friends can get to safety and find someone who can help.

The Fallen Angels swarmed on them as one by one they were taken down. His friends weren't fighters like him, but they knew how to defend themselves long enough for Haseo to rescue them. But it was not a pretty sight to behold for anyone here. Alkaid was the first to go down, with one of the Fallen Angels snapping her neck while the others stabbed her with their light spears. At this point Haseo had already taken out thirteen of these winged fuckers. Next was Gaspard who was trying to get Issei to safety only to be caught by surprised before pushing Issei out of the way. At this point Haseo took out another 10 Fallen Angels all the while his rage grew. Atoli was the next to go, as she used herself as a living shield so Issei can get to safety. Haseo's rage was reaching an apex as he took out another twenty-five but was now getting skewered by spears. Issei watched in horror as Silabus was the last of Haseo's friends to die as he had his intestines torn out by the Fallen Angels leaving only Haseo and Issei as the last ones standing. At this point Haseo had taken out another 15 Fallen Angels as he kept cleaving through them one after the other with blood pooling on the ground.

Haseo's kill count kept going up as he roared out with a berserker like fury. Weapons were summoned and used and Haseo kept going not caring what happened to himself. By the time Haseo was at his limit he had taken out one hundred Fallen Angels by himself much to their shock.

Haseo was bloody and beaten barely holding on to life as he glared at Raynare. Haseo saw Raynare walk up to him and tilted his head so he could look at her.

"You should've stayed out of the way and maybe I would've let you and your friends live." Raynare said only for Haseo to spit his own blood in her face.

"Yeah, but look around you, I took out 100 of you guys by myself." Haseo said glaring at Raynare who saw that the Fallen Angels were less then half of what they arrived with. "Not bad for a lowly human, right?" Haseo taunted as Raynare glared at the Terror of Death.

"Well Terror of Death, doesn't matter you die here." Raynare growled before stabbing Haseo straight through his abdomen. "Now stay here while I take care of something." Raynare said before throwing Haseo to the ground and making her way towards Issei. "Now where were we, darling?" Raynare asked only to be caught by surprised when she was shot at. Looking to the source Raynare saw that Issei had gotten a hold of one of Haseo's guns and shot it at her.

Issei knew he was out gunned, outnumbered, and royally screwed but he wasn't going down without making a last stand. "You idiot." Haseo growled as he looked to Issei. "Run." Haseo struggled as he tried to pry the spear out from his body.

"You should've listened to her." Raynare said as she landed behind the pervert. Before he could even react, she stabbed him right through his back and out his chest. Haseo's own blood started to drip, down from his mouth as soon as the spear vanished, "Sorry about this, but since you're a potential risk, I had to take care of you sooner or later."

'What is she talking about?' Issei thought before both he and Haseo collapsed to the ground. Raynare was already taking her leave with the other Fallen Angels not even bothering to mourn their departed allies who laid on the ground dead.

"If you want to someone blame, blame God. He put those Sacred Gears into your bodies." Raynare said before she walked away.

"Issei... Silabus" Haseo said as he was wide eyed at his best friend prone form. "Gaspard... Atoli…" Haseo repeated as he gritted his teeth as on his form the symbol of three eyes appeared as he gritted his teeth. "ALKAID!" Haseo called out in shock as he forced his body up as his Sacred Gear activated once more.

"TERROR OF DEATH!"

With that invocation the two saw Haseo come at them leaving a trail of blood as he had his scythe out as the two were shocked. "Why won't you stay down?" Raynare yelled firing more spears which stabbed and cut into him, but Haseo kept moving on his foes.

Meanwhile Milltelt realized what was going on and began to grow fearful of it. "W-we need to leave now!" She called out as the way Haseo moved. It was like... it was like he was death itself as a shadow followed after him giving him the visage of death and in turn filling both of them with great terror.

"N-no stay back!" Raynare called as Haseo's scythe blade built up energy and in turn Haseo sliced upward as Yuuma screamed in pain as she tried to stop it, but it shattered her shield as her blood then spewed from her wound on her torso as Milltelt saw this and acted.

"Raynare!" She called as she grabbed her friend and pulled her away. "Stay here and bleed out Terror of Death!" Tenshi called out as she then vanished in a circle of magic as Haseo soon fell back.

"Dammit..." Haseo cursed said as he began to bleed out cursing his own weakness and failure to protect any of his friends. "It's all my fault… they're dead because of me." Haseo said cursing himself for being so weak. "Please, Atoli, Gaspard, Alkaid, Silabus; Issei someone… save them." Haseo said as he began to drift off. "Please, don't let my friends die…" Haseo sighed and thus he let himself drift walking towards his eternal rest.

There was a few seconds of silence as the now dead teens laid there, no life in their bodies. After that, a strange looking symbol appeared on the ground between Issei and Haseo. "Heh… looks like things have become quite interesting." Rias muttered as she looked at the scene. She had to feel sorry for whoever had to clean this up. She looked down and saw Haseo and Issei's remains. "Ah, so it's you two." She whispered before looking at Haseo before seeing his friends not to far away from the scene.

"One human managed to do all of this…" Rias said as she found it to be impressive. One human managed to kill off over one hundred Fallen Angels by himself, he would truly be a keeper for whichever faction got him, certainly this will be Rias gain. She had been aware of the Terror of Deaths activities for a while now but since his actions were not affecting the Devils, they let him do as he wanted. Clearly the Fallen Angels didn't like this and acted upon it, they should have destroyed the body so now Rias was going to benefit off of it. Plus, if Haseo's wish was for his friends survival she had to carry it out. But even then, that's going to be tricky. She had used her Pawns to revive Issei so all she had was a Knight, a Rook, and a Bishop and there was more of them then there were pieces to give so this meant she cannot revive all of them. Haseo would make an excellent Knight as would Atoli as a bishop, and Alkaid as a rook so alas she had to sacrifice Silabus and Gaspard but before she could do anything Rias took notice of Haseo's chess set.

"A Gremory, presume?" A voice behind her said. She tensed a little before she revealed her wings to whoever was behind her, "I am not here to fight Gremory-san." She frowned a little, still suspicious of the person, before turned around to see an elderly man; the same one Jonathan had bought the chess set from.

"How do you know about me?" Rias asked as she made sure to keep an eye on him at all times as he was an unknown here.

"Look inside." He said as Rias, without tearing her gaze from the old man, opened the chess set and glanced inside. It took Rias a few seconds to realize what she had just saw and looked inside the box again to confirm it. The symbol inside the box was that of the Valefor family, one of the 72 Pillar Families, who were supposed to be extinct. And not only did the box contain a Summoning Contract Flier for them, but also a complete set of Evil Pieces.

"Why are you here and why does he have this?!" Rias demanded, her face still frowning as why did the, Valefor head stay hidden for so long till now.

"I've been observing them for quite a while now, and I believe they could revive what was once a lost cause." He answered cryptically as he got took the chess set from her and pulled out two Bishops, a Knight, and a Queen. "Plus… I'm tired, withered, and far too old to have children so I sought an heir to take my place." HE said getting ready to do his magic. "And I believe the Terror of Death would make an excellent replacement." He said before he began the ritual.

He then placed the Knight on Silabus chest, the Bishops on Gaspard and Atoli's chest, and the Queen on Alkaid's chest. "I, Rojin Valefor, command you, Chika Kuramoto to live under the name of the King! Rise, and be reborn as a Queen." Rojin Valefor said as suddenly, the Valefor family symbol appeared underneath Alkaid as the Queen piece slowly sank into her body. He then repeated the process with Silabus, Gaspard, and Atoli with the Knight, and Bishops, respectively.

"Are you trying to revive the Valefor family by making these revivals as your peerage?" Rias asked with a glare as she wanted the facts.

"No." He said before place a hand on his chest. A red glow emitted from it before it faded. He opened his hand to make sure it was there before going to Haseo and placed the chess piece on him. "I, Rojin Valefor, has decided that you, Ryou Misaki, The Terror of Death Haseo are worthy of the power that has been wasted by me. So, from this day forth, you are a devil. A King! Rise, my son and lead your new peerage into an age of greatness as the new head of the Valefor Family!" Rojin invoked as Rias couldn't believe her eyes as the Valefor symbol that had appeared underneath Haseo in recognition of its new lord.

After the ritual was over, the injuries and the suit was all repaired as his body mass went up a bit while the suits entire system was rebooted and recharged. Rias had never seen or even heard of this happening, but she also hasn't heard of someone giving up their peerage willingly and reviving a human as a King as well and going as far as basically adopting the said revived King into the household as an heir. After the former King left his body began to vanish as Rias was deep in thought but took note of it all. She thought it was going to be a simple little mission, revive a few people and gaining more members to her peerage, things of that nature. She now had to tread carefully from now on less she ends up in a sticky situation somehow with the Epitaph Users.
