Chapter 8: Resolutions
During the School Assembly...
"...so students as you all know, you're all in detention and there's another announcement I would like to make, Testing week begins on Monday meaning its one week away so everyone go and get prepared! Detention is still there, some will work in the library, watering the plants, cleaning staff rooms and principal's office and many more. You can go back to your classes" Heihachi said
Everyone left the assembly and went to their respective classrooms however Heihachi made a list of all the students in detention including his grandson, Jin and the others Xiaoyu, Asuka, Lili, Shin, Steve, Alisa, Julia, Miharu, Hwoarang along with others. Heihachi however gave a slight chuckle "This will be one heck of a day"
After 30 minutes...
Asuka was working with Lili at the library since it had a lot of work, they needed to sort out the books in Alphabetical order, clean the huge room and dust all dirty surfaces. Heihachi however had mixed the list of students since he had known that Asuka and Lili were the main cause of everyone's detention. However Jin was working with Xiaoyu and Steve in cleaning the staff rooms, Alisa, Miharu and Shin were watering the plants and Julia, Hwoarang and Mizuki worked on cleaning every classroom
At the Library...
Lili was sorting the books whilst Asuka was placing the books in their shelves. There was total silence as they worked until Lili finally broke the ice
"Asuka, here's another book"
"Okay thanks"
"You know I have to admit you're really good at fighting. What's your fighting style anyways?"
"Kazama Style Traditional Martial Arts"
"Wow, I bet you could even knock out Hwoarang with a single punch" Lili said
"Yeah I would!" They broke into a heartfelt laughter
"But you were good too"
"You think so, I just created it nothing much"
"Really, you create your own fighting style!" Asuka said astonished
"Yeah but my dad doesn't even know that I'm can fight, I just combined my skills in Gymnastics and Street fighting" Lili said proud
"That's incredible!" Asuka quite amazed
"Hey, listen I'm sorry for everything that happened. I just I just ... (Lili began to sob) I don't have friends here in Tokyo. I was so lonely that I wanted to impress people but until I saw you. I knew you were a tough competitor and that we're of the same age. I liked that about you. There was nobody who was like that in my life. Everytime I saw your friends , I felt really lonely and depressed. I wanted to become your friend so bad that I had to become your rival in order for us to keep chatting but we're now... in this mess because of ME. I'm sorry"
"Are you kidding me, so all this charade was just for us to be friends?!!" You could've just said so instead of creating an unnecessary raucous that caused us to be here in the first place" Asuka said in a angry tone
"I know I know I'm sorry it's just hard to make friends when everyone thinks you're ... (cries)
"-Rich, yeah I know but I'm sorry too and I'm willing for us to be friends if you apologize to Miharu and Xiaoyu for what you did"
The Monegasque continued sobbing
"OK I will apologize to everyone that I've wronged"
Asuka stretched out her hand
"Friends?"
Lili happily accepted the handshake
"Friends. But I will have my rematch" she giggled
Meanwhile...
Xiaoyu, Jin and Steve worked on cleaning every single staff room of the school. However Xiaoyu was the only one giving complaints and insults but Jin and Steve continued dusting and sweeping.
"Ugh, when will we be finished Jin- jin" She asked with a sly smile
"After we mop the floor" Jin said with a smile "Steve can you please dust over there it's kinda...well...dusty"
"Jin I already done that now, all what's left for us is to just mop" Steve answered irritated
"Yeah yeah" Jin answered
"Jin..." Xiaoyu began "I hope Asuka and Lili don't fight in the library they're just too much"
"Yeah I agree, but what if they're now friends" Steve said
Jin began thinking about it then he continued
"Maybe we'll see" He shrugged and continued mopping the floor
"Could you pass the bucket" Jin asked Xiaoyu
"Here you go" Xiaoyu pranked Jin and took the bucket then splashed them. Xiaoyu was laughing her heart out
"W-what the heck?!" Steve said with a tinge of annoyance
"Sorry was tryna splash Jin" She continued laughing
"H-hey!!" Jin screamed as he took the bottle of water and splashed it over Xiao's head
"See now we're both"
Steve tried to resist but ended up bursting into complete laughter
"Hey, it's not funny! " Xiaoyu retorted
"You should think twice before splashing us" Steve resumed laughing
"Yeah, yeah let's round up" Jin said as he threw mops to them
At the school garden...
"I think we're done here" said Shin tired
"Yeah but though we need to clean up ourselves" Alisa said as she observed themselves
"I look like a hobbo, my skirt is now dirty with brown stains!" Miharu said disappointed
"Well I love to get dirty especially with my girls, Miharu and Alisa, is it okay to call you Lisa"
"No that's someone's else's name"
"Who you talking about Lisa"
"Umm, nothing forget it"
"Well guys can we go clean up I'm so tired" said a tired Miharu
"Okay okay sheesh" Shin said
After school...
"Hey guys, how was your day?" Steve asked as Shin, Miharu and Alisa came to the scene
"Boring, we were so dirty that we had to take a second shower" Miharu said
"Ooh sorry, hey.. has anyone seen Asuka?" asked a curious Jin
"Maybe they're still in the library" Xiaoyu stated her opinion
"We could find out, anyone down?"
"Nah, let's just wait for her outside the school" Shin suggested
They all nodded in agreement
Conversation between Xiaoyu and Jin...
"Xiao what do you wanna do this weekend?
"
"Maybe just go to an amusement park, we could go to the roller coaster... Ferris wheel and perhaps... kiss in the sky" She said while blushing
"Yeah we could do that... - Wait what?? Hey!!! You ugh!! Jin blushed too hard
"Why you blushing? Xiaoyu laughed
" Ehh... " Jin began being silent

"So can we now agree that Jin loves Xiaoyu" Shin asked Steve with a smirk
"Yeah maybe... But let's first observe some more then we can consider"
"On the other hand is so evident that Xiaoyu loves Jin because she always blushes hard when she's with him" Miharu said while poking her cheek
"Hmm, I guess you're right Miharu" Alisa said as she joined in the conversation since she noticed how much Jin and Xiaoyu are close
"So Shin do you consider this a bet" asked Miharu
"No way, I'm doing a -bet" Shin stopped when he saw Asuka "-what the...?"
"Hey guys" Asuka greeted with a smile "I'd like to say that Lili is now a friend not enemy although we're rivals"
"Hey guys, I'm sorry for the way I caused you to almost divide your friendship because of me. I just wanted to have a friend like Asuka because I saw how much we were similar and that we would get along well. I'm sorry" Lili apologized sincerely
"It's okay. I guess we can forgive you." Shin stretched out his hand "Friends?"
Lili gladly took his hand "Friends". Then they all shook hands
"Where's Jin and Xiaoyu?" Asuka looked around not seeing any signs of them
"They're flirting" Steve jokingly declared
"Don't tell me..." Asuka slapped her forehead
"Guys let's just follow them and eavesdrop"
"I think they already left"
"We could eavesdrop in another day"
They nodded and said they're goodbyes and left their seperate ways
...
Ooh, that's the end of my chapter. Thank you so much for your support in my work. I hope I will write as fast as I can and publish my next chapter. I'm happy that that everyone are now friends except for Hwoa. But hopefully they will in the future
