DigiDestined: Iori Hida
Digimon Partner: Armadillomon
Inherited Crest: Iori inherited the Crests of Knowledge and the Crest of Reliability
First of I'll be giving Iori the Crest of Trust. In Digimon 02 Iori always has trust in his friends no matter what the occasion my be even if their judgement might not be the most sound. Some examples being when they had to fight Greymon when he got the Spiral Ring, when he followed Takeru to Ken' base (even though let's be honest that was probably a bad idea given the events that shortly follow afterwards, or heck literally anytime they go into the Digital World. You might forget sometimes but the Digital is a dangerous place where these kids have nearly died MULTIPLE TIMES.
And this goes both ways the remember at the beginning of 02 Iori didn't think what he thought mattered to the group since he was the youngest and they immediately dispel that thought from his head.
This is even more so when you look at episode 16 when MegaSeadramon had them trapped underwater everyone trusted Iori with their very lives in that moment to get help, while Iori himself didn't believe he could do it and even later on felt that the digimental wasn't for him since he believed he both abandoned and told a lie. But everyone else trusted in him without slimmer of doubt and guess what it paid off everyone was saved and they got to see another day. He even learned a later lesson of having trust that Ken wanted to repent for what he had done and gained a new friend.
Now with that out the way lets get to the other main topic the 02 crew Digimon partners and their busted Digivolution lines. We'll cover this in a sort of stat block fashion starting with the basics and then we'll discuss afterwards
Armadillomon- Armadillomon is a Rookie level Digimon with a signature move called Diamond Shell where he curls up and throws his body at the enemy
Ankylomon- Ankylomon is a Champion level Digimon with a signature move called Tail Hammer where he swings his spiked tail at the a enemy
Meteormon- Meteormon is a Ultimate level Digimon with a signature move called Cosmic Flare where he summon a space pocket that will hurls small meteors imbued with cosmic energy a the enemy
Dianamon- Dianamon is a Mega level Digimon with a signature move called Crescent Harken where he bewitches an illusion with the mysterious power of the moon, so that the opponent sees itself as its own enemy and immediately carves itself to pieces/attack themselves
So straight off the bat Meteormon has the ability to rain meteors imbued with cosmic energy onto somebody after spawning a portal, that's usually only an ability the bad guys have and even then in Digimon the villains only ever use portals for traveling and not attacking. And if that's not enough he can just drop a meteorite straight onto the enemy with his Falling Star attack. There are also the less threating moves (by that I mean less property damage) there are Rock Tornado where he just swings his arms wildly and Big Bang Blow which is a powerful punch, but just because they aren't flashy doesn't mean they wouldn't hurt this is a Ultimate level Digimon after all.
Next we got Dianamon and do I really have to explain why one of the Olympus XII is overpowered in this show, if a Digimon is part of a named group DON'T MESS WITH IT even if you are a DigiDestined. Illusion based attacks in Digimon are some the more dangerous attacks that the villains used, especially by Piedmon and MaloMyotismon, and Crescent Harken also makes the enemy attack itself to a pieces which is straight up brutal. Along with Arrow of Artemis where he'll fire an ice arrow for range and if a less violent approach is needed Goodnight Moon can lure the opponent into sleep with the lunar light emitted from the Goodnight Sisters.
So yeah straight off the bat we got a rock that can harness the power of the cosmos and one of the Olympus XII and things don't get easier for the bad guys from here.
Whelp that's all for Iori and Armadillomon. Next we'll be taking a look at Takeru even though him and Hikari are in Tri when they are with the 01 crew both are really only used when the plot has a big issue and then kind of get sidelined.
