King Reggie's infatuation with Anne grew stronger with each passing day. He could not resist the urge to be near her, to hold her hand, to gaze into her eyes. He would often sneak glances at her during meals, and he would find himself lost in thought, imagining what their life together would be like.

Despite his position as the ruler of his kingdom, King Reggie felt a sense of vulnerability whenever he was around Anne. He couldn't help but be drawn to her magnetic presence and the way she effortlessly commanded attention wherever she went. Her wit and charm only added to her allure, making it impossible for him to resist her.

As the weeks went by, King Reggie found himself seeking any opportunity to spend time with Anne. He would often invite her to accompany him on his daily walks through the castle gardens, engaging in deep conversations about various topics ranging from politics to literature. Their connection seemed to deepen with each passing day.

Meanwhile, news of King Reggie's infatuation had spread throughout the kingdom. The courtiers whispered amongst themselves, speculating about the possibility of a romance between the king and Anne. Some were envious of her newfound favor with the king, while others were simply curious about what this could mean for the future.

Amidst all this excitement, King Henry announced that there would be a party at the castle in a week's time, to celebrate the truce between their kingdoms of Brinudal and England. The party would be a grand affair, with feasting, dancing, and entertainment for all.

The news of the upcoming party sent waves of anticipation throughout the kingdom. It was an event that everyone looked forward to attending, as it provided an opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together and celebrate their shared accomplishments.

For King Reggie, however, this party held an even greater significance. It presented him with a chance to publicly showcase his affection for Anne. He saw it as the perfect occasion to make his intentions known and to declare his love for her in front of the entire court.

As the days counted down to the party, King Reggie became increasingly preoccupied with preparations. He personally oversaw every detail, ensuring that no aspect of the event was overlooked. From the decorations to the menu, he wanted everything to be perfect for this momentous occasion.

In the midst of all the planning, King Reggie couldn't help but daydream about Anne. He imagined her radiant smile as he professed his love for her, and he hoped that she would reciprocate his feelings. The thought of finally being able to call her his own filled him with a sense of joy and anticipation.

As the day of the party approached, King Reggie's excitement grew. He knew that this was his chance to win Anne's heart, and he was determined to do just that.

Reggie sat at the head of the long, ornate dining table in the grand hall of the royal palace. The flickering candlelight cast a warm glow on the polished silverware and delicate china plates that were set before him. He nervously adjusted his crown as he waited for his daughter, Princess Jennifer, to join him for dinner.

He had found himself in a heated argument with Jennifer. It had started innocently enough, with the young princess asking her father about Lady Anne, a woman who had recently entered their lives. However, as the conversation progressed, King Reggie's emotions got the better of him, and he ended up yelling at his daughter.

As the king reflected on his behavior, he realized that he had let his own complicated relationship with Princess Jennifer's mother cloud his judgment. He didn't want his daughter to think badly of him when it came to her mother.

Now, as Reggie awaited Jennifer's arrival, he knew he needed to apologize for his outburst and explain the complexities of his relationship with Lady Anne. He wanted his daughter to understand that his love for Anne did not diminish the love he had for her mother or for Jennifer herself.

Finally, Jennifer entered the grand hall, her dark curls bouncing as she skipped towards her father. She took her seat across from him and looked up at him with wide eyes filled with curiosity and a hint of sadness.

"Father." She began tentatively, "I'm sorry if I upset you."

Reggie reached across the table and gently took Jennifer's small hand in his own. "No, my dear." He said softly. "It is I who should apologize. I let my emotions get the best of me, and I should not have yelled at you."

Jennifer's eyes welled up with tears, and she nodded silently.

Reggie continued, his voice filled with sincerity. "You see, my darling, the relationship between your mother and me was complicated. We loved each other deeply, but life threw many challenges our way. I guess I took it out on you and your mother the wrong way."

Jennifer listened intently, her small hand gripping her father's tightly.

"But my love for Anne does not mean that I love your mother any less," Reggie emphasized. "She will always hold a special place in my heart, just as you do. Anne understands this and respects your mother."

Jennifer wiped away a tear with her free hand and looked up at her father with a mixture of understanding and forgiveness.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you, my sweet princess." Reggie said, his voice filled with genuine remorse. "I want you to know that you are the most important person in my life, and nothing will ever change that."

Jennifer smiled through her tears and squeezed her father's hand. "I love you, Father." She whispered.

Reggie smiled back at his daughter, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders. He knew that their bond had grown even stronger through this conversation and that he had taken an important step in ensuring Jennifer understood the complexities of their family dynamics.

As they began their meal together, Reggie vowed to himself to always be open and honest with his daughter about their family history.

Reggie and Jennifer walked in the ballroom as they were greeted by King Henry and his people. Reggie looked around to see Anne standing behind the queen and saw her looking at him. He smirked before turning to Henry.

"Ah my friend. Today is the time to celebrate as our kingdoms become allies, friends." Henry said and Reggie smiled as they both sat at the head of the table. Everyone started eating and dancing as Reggie and Henry talked about their kingdoms.

As the night wore on, King Reggie and King Henry found themselves sitting at a table, surrounded by their advisors and courtiers. They had been discussing the terms of the truce for hours, but had yet to come to an agreement.

"I will not agree to any terms that do not favor my kingdom," King Reggie said, his voice firm and resolute.

"Nor will I," King Henry replied, his own voice just as resolute. The two kings sat in silence for a moment, each one considering the other's words. Finally, King Reggie spoke up.

"I have a proposal." He said, his voice softening. "We can work together to improve trade and commerce between our lands. There is a lot of stuff your Kingdom has to offer and my Kingdom has to offer to you.

King Henry was taken aback by King Reggie's proposal, but he could see the wisdom in it. He nodded his head, and the two kings began to discuss the details of their truce.

As the night wore on, the two kings signed the papers, sealing their truce and ending any future wars between their kingdoms. The party erupted in cheers and celebration, as the lords and ladies of both kingdoms mingled and celebrated the newfound peace.

The truce between King Reggie of Brinudal and King Henry the 8th of England was a significant event in the history of both kingdoms, and it marked the beginning of a new era of cooperation and understanding between the two nations.

Reggie watched Anne as Henry was laughing with his guest. Anne danced around as she looked at Reggie. Reggie finished his drink before getting up and heading towards the dance floor.

Anne looked at him as he grabbed her hands in his and started dancing with her. Anne smiled as he picked her up and spinned her around. Once he sat her down, she started dancing around him, moving her dress.

"You are really beautiful." He told her and she smirked as her blue eyes looked up at him." Thanks for the compliment your majesty." She said as she went up so close to him that everyone thought she was going to kiss him.

"You are a really good dancer. Perhaps you can show me a few moves?" She asked and Reggie chuckled as he held her face with his hands." I could teach you." He said with lust in his eyes as she stared at him." Then teach me." She said before pulling him from the party.

Reggie looked around and noticed no one wasn't paying attention and used this as a perfect opportunity to get away from the party. They both took off, running down the hall and went inside the church as they hid behind the wall.

Reggie turned around only for Anne to grab his face and kiss him. They both moaned as Anne so desperately tried to take off his shirt.

Reggie went to her neck and devoured her as Anne smiled at the touch. They were about to go far when they heard someone walking into the church. They both hid behind the wall as Reggie looked around to see that it was Queen Catherine.

Reggie quickly put back his clothes on and helped Anne with hers as they heard Catherine start praying about giving the king a son. They could hear the poor woman cry in her prayers, and Reggie felt bad for her.

It got him thinking if his wife did the same about failing to give him a son to his throne. Anne finished putting her dress on before leading him to the back of the church where they could get back to the party.

"I am so sorry, your majesty." Anne said as he looked at her." It's okay, we will be together soon, even if it takes years." He said and she looked confused at him." Tomorrow will be the last day that I will be in England before heading back to my kingdom."

Anne's eyes widened as he told her this. How could she be so foolish? She knew that he was going to leave home sooner or later. She was so selfish to believe that he was going to stay here when he had a whole kingdom to worry about.

"Then promise to write to me. Promise that all the things we did together didn't die in vain." She said and he kissed her." I promise I won't. I will write to you every day if I have to. just remember to keep my gift." He said, looking at the necklace around her neck.

"I will cherish it with my life." She said and he smiled at her." I must get going, don't want anyone to notice I'm gone." He said and she nodded before watching him leave. Anne covered herself before going to the opposite door to the party so they wouldn't be suspicious of them coming together.

She hoped she, indeed, see him again, even if it took years.
