Me: Hi guys, what's up in the hood? WOLFWATCHER12 and The Amazing Ghost Musician back here for another chapter of Steven Universe: War Of The Beasts. However, me and Ghost are not in our usual set, we are in a place that looks like Club Luda from the old game, Def Jam Vendetta. I even have a Def Jam song playing. So, Ghost, how do you like our new surroundings?
The Amazing Ghost Musician: It's doing good for us, are you excited for this chapter?
Me: Oh yeah I am! Today is when Rhinox detects a Stasis Pod heading for Siberia in an unpopulated area, Optimus gets ready to take off, but is ambushed by the Predacons he is taken down, along with Amethyst and Garnet, leaving it to Steven to call out Lapis, Peridot and Bismuth to join him, Pearl, Cheetor, Rhinox and Rattrap as they race to the Stasis Pod. But we also have the arrival of another Maximal, who is a favorite of mine and I hope he's one of yours too. *Drum Roll* TIGATRON!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: This is gonna be one exciting chapter to read, we hope that you're ready for this. With Steven's other gem friends Bismuth, Lapis and Peridot helping him and the Maximals out, the Predacons are gonna be in for a world of hurt.
Me: You got that right! Also, we hope that you can get the petition for the Def Jam Wrestling Games to be put into a definitive edition for all current and previous Gen consoles. Also if you have a favorite Def Jam lady, let us know in the comments.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: I'm still looking forward to seeing All Elite Wrestling's first video game coming out, hopefully it'll be coming out in 2022. I also hope that it doesn't suck as bad as that horrible WWE 2K20.
Me: Me too, and hopefully, I can find a different job and get a PS5.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Same with me! My father and I still can't afford a PS4, and I'm hoping to find a part time job where I can hopefully make enough money to buy a Ps4 in the future, hopefully before my next birthday.
Me: Oh, and I have something else I'd like to announce.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: And what that might be, broski?
Me: Me and my roommate, Donovan, are going to be working together to make a gaming livestream on a new YouTube channel I am going to call, Wolf Watch Gamerz!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: That's awesome dude, maybe you guys make some YouTube videos on it and hopefully make money off that. I plan to start my own walkthroughs and gameplays for my YouTube channel in the future, I just need to save up more money in order to get a video camera and other equipment to do this.
Me: Yeah, that is a great idea! My goal is to get over 100,000 subscribers for it.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Well if you get that many subscribers, you might also be able to make some extra money off that as well.
Me: Yeah, that's true. Also, I think the first game I will livestream with him will be….Wait for it….Spyro Reignited Trilogy!

Me: But enough about that, let's get onto the story, shall we?

Chapter 6: Bluebird & The Power Surge!
We find ourselves in the depths of space, in Earth's orbit and we see a few small space rocks hitting one of the Stasis Pods that was in orbit, it knocked off course and began descending into the Earth's atmosphere, burning up and heading for a snowy place.
Meanwhile, at the Axalon, Rhinox heard an alarm going off, he went to the console and was later joined by Optimus, Cheetor, Dinobot, Rattrap, Steven, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl. Garnet then spoke up, "What was the alarm about Rhinox?" she asked.
"See for yourself, Garnet." said Rhinox.
Garnet sat down at the console and began scanning the area and the scanner picked up something entering the Atmosphere, "A Maximal Stasis Pod!?" she began triangulating for where it was gonna end up. "It's heading for Siberia!" she pointed out.
"Heads up, everyone!" said Optimus, as he informed everyone about the Pod. "Get ready to Transform and Roll Out!"
Garnet then returned her attention "Impact in 5 seconds...4...3...2…" she counted down. Meanwhile, in an unpopulated area in Siberia, the Pod crashed and it was so loud, a white Siberian Tiger began to take notice of it.
Back at the Darksyde, Terrorsaur alerted everyone to this sight and he was startled by this.
"Lord Megatron, everyone, WE HAVE AN IMPACT!" he shouted.
The Predacons, Jasper, Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby all heard him screaming. "What is it, Terrorsaur?" asked Jasper.
"A Stasis Pod crashed!" said the Pterodactyl Predacon. "Coordinates 617 by 885, 120 kilometers North, location...Siberia!" he elucidated. "Shall we go!?"
Megatron spoke up, "No, not yet." he said. "The Maximals would've already picked up on this and expected their only flyer to reach the Pod first, Yessss." he then revealed. "Let us hope they encounter...Turbulence!"
"At once!" said Terrorsaur and Jasper. "Waspinator, Aquamarine, Eyeball Ruby, Flamenix, let's get to it!" Terrorsaur said, turning to the four of them.
"RIGHT!" they all said in unison.
Optimus however was already heading for the main hatch, but Cheetor leapt onto the console.
"You know, I gotta tell ya Big Bot." Cheetor started to speak. "I don't think it's such a swift move, splitting up."
"He's right, we could be walking into a trap," said Steven.
"We've got no choice!" Optimus said to them both. "We're talking a hundred and twenty kilometers over freezing territory in the Siberian area. Megatron is sure to launch his own flyers! I have to get there first!"
It was then that Dinobot stood in front of him, "I am not normally one to advocate caution, Optimus Primal, but in this case I must express my concern to you. Megatron must have overheard our conversation somehow and will not always behave as one might think."
"True, but he'll want to reach the pod first, same as us." Optimus said back to him. "So now it's a race, clear as day. Optimus Primal...MAXIMIZE!" he transformed into Robot Mode.
However, Dinobot had an idea, "Nonetheless, allow me to have the honor of exiting first. Something is amiss." he said.
"Alright, but hurry!" said Optimus, as he gave the 'go ahead' signal to Dinobot.
"Dinobot...MAXIMIZE!" Dinobot transformed into Robot Mode, went out the main hatch and emerges into the night, weapons at the ready and uses his scanner and with numeral readouts, he scans the landscape but he does not see anything out of the ordinary, looking around suspiciously, he goes back up into the base and informs Optimus. "My scanners detect no hostiles...Yet, something is still very much amiss."
It was then that Steven spoke to Garnet. "Garnet, can you amplify the scanner to see what's out there?"
"Already doing so." Garnet said back to Steven. And then something came up on the scanner, "Oh my stars and garters!"
"What is it?" asked Optimus.
"It seems as though Bluebird and Flamenix are hiding behind the rocks!" said Garnet.
Cheetor snarled about this, "Lemme at 'em! I want payback on them for what they put Greg and Steven through!"
"Hold on, Cheetor! They might be setting up an ambush." Pearl said, "I'll go with you!"
"Me too!" Amethyst nodded, "If those Preds even think about trying a sneak attack, I'll be ready for them."
"I'll accompany you three." said Dinobot. "We will guard Optimus while he gets ready to fly.
Optimus reluctantly agreed to that idea. "Alright, thank you. Let's get moving!"
"Garnet and I will come too!" Steven nodded. "If they're setting up an ambush, we'll be there to help!"
"We'll watch your backs in case there's more coming." Garnet stated.
Optimus nodded to that and with that said, they all got out of the hatch and got ready to fight.
As they stepped outside, Steven, Amethyst, Pearl, Garnet, Cheetor and Dinobot looked all around themselves, keeping their silent vigil.
"Nothing over here." said Steven, before he turned over to the Amethyst, "You find anything, Amethyst?
"No, not yet, Steven!" Amethyst replied, as she looked at Cheetor. "Cheetor, any signs of Flamenix or Bluebird yet?
Cheetor shook his head, "Nope, but I'll keep looking."
Garnet looked around and spotted their auras, "Over there!" she pointed to the upper left corner.
Just then, a missile launched out and hit Optimus, sending him crashing into a stalagmite.
"OPTIMUS!" Steven and the others all shouted in unison.
Terrorsaur and Waspinator were behind the rocks and gloated at their shot. "Hahahahahaha! Wazzzzpinator got him!" he said.
"Great, now watch this!" said Terrorsaur, as he got ready to fire his own missile at them all.
"Incoming!" Pearl shouted in horror.
Bluebird and Flamenix jumped out and began to attack as well.
"We've got company!" Cheetor shouted, as he transformed and fired his blaster at Bluebird.
Bluebird dodged and Flamenix shot his flamethrower at Cheetor, but he dodged and the flame hit a rock.
"HA, you missed, Hothead!" Cheetor taunted Flamenix.
"Drat!" Flamenix cursed.
Bluebird goes at Steven and Pearl, only for Dinobot to shoot at her with her laser vision. "When we're done with Steven, you'll be the next Predacon Traitor!" said Bluebird, threatening him.
"You can try, but I will stop you!" Dinobot declared. He fired his laser vision again and this time, he hit Flamenix, but he blocked it with his wing shield.
Terrorsaur and Waspinator could not stand by and do nothing anymore so they fired on Dinobot, but he rolled out of the way. "Blast it! He got away!" However, the blast hit Garnet. "But I suppose that the one called Garnet will have to do that for that hit." he chuckled a little.
"GARNET!" Steven shouted in horror as he raced over to her.
This prompted the intelligent Gem to strain a little bit, "I'll live, just get them!" she instructed. "I need to recuperate."
Steven nodded and then shot a blast at Terrorsaur, but the Predacon ducked behind the rock and popped back up to fire his pistol.
"Hahahahaha!" Terrorsaur chuckled evilly.
Amethyst was angry and so, she fired her blast at them, but then Waspinator fired his stinger missile at her, it hit her but not before her blast caused a huge rock to avalanche on Waspinator and *SPLAT* The Wasp Predacon was squashed by it.
"OH NO!" Terrorsaur shouted in horror, but then he blasted the rock and saw that Waspinator was beginning to short out.
"Wazzpinator in trouble.." he moaned.
Terrorsaur decided to help him up, "We did our job, now let's go! Back to base!" he said, helping Waspinator to his feet and they both transformed into Beast Mode and flew off.
Steven and Pearl saw that Bluebird was about to leave, "Get back here, you coward!" shouted Steven, then he and Pearl fused into Rainbow Quartz 2.0
"You won't get far!" said Rainbow 2.0, as she flew after Bluebird.
However, Flamenix shot at Rainbow Quartz 2.0 and then *KA-BAMMO* She was hit and reverted back to Steven and Pearl. They tried to fuse again, but it didn't work.
"You're not fusing, losers!" Flamenix taunted them. "My blast prevented you from doing so and now, to kill ya!"
Cheetor and Dinobot opened fire at Flamenix and Cheetor then charged at Flamenix, dodging his flames and then he goes into Beast Mode and gouges Flamenix's face and snatches one of the Gem Predacon's blades, damaging him in the process. "How do you like that, punk!?" Cheetor snarled.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Flamenix shouted in pain, as he saw how bad the damage was.
Bluebird gasped at this, "OH NO! FLAMENIX!" she swooped down and got Flamenix away from them and took off.
Terrorsaur asked, "What happened to him?"
"That damned cat damaged him in a rage," said Bluebird.
"Wazzpinator in no shape to attack him." said Waspinator, denoting his condition.
"That's it, I'm taking those Maximals and Gems down for good." Terrorsaur said, firing his shoulder rockets, they did impact, but the weapons of the ship fired back at him.
Steven, Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, Cheetor and Dinobot all got out of the way, but Amethyst and Garnet took the hit.
Steven and Pearl were both sent flying, while Dinobot catches them both.
"Thanks." they said to Dinobot.
"You're welcome," he said. But then, he saw them flying away.
"They're getting away!" Cheetor shouted.
Before the four of them left, heading back to the Predacon base to report to Megatron.
"That should hold them off!" said Flamenix. "Nice shot, Terrorsaur."
"It sure was!" Terrorsaur said back to his brother-in-arms.
"Soon, your Maximal friend will be converted into a Predacon!" said Bluebird, taunting them.
"COWARDS!" Dinobot shouted, as he fired his laser to hit them, but it only grazed them and they kept on flying.
Cheetor picks himself back up, while Steven and Pearl help Amethyst and Garnet up and then he turns his head over to Optimus. "Oh man, Optimus is still on the ground!"
"Oh no!" they all said in unison and rushed right over to him.
Cheetor ran to check on his leader, and the others followed him "Big Bot, can you hear me, Big Bot?" he asked, in a sad tone.
Garnet checks his condition, "He's badly damaged."
Steven then felt sad for Optimus, he turned his head over to the raptor Maximal. "Dinobot, can you give us a hand here?"
"With haste, Steven," said Dinobot, and so they all got Optimus up and helped him into the hatch.
Optimus then struggled a little bit, "I'll live." he said. "I'm not scrap yet."
"Phew, thank goodness." said Steven.
"We better get him to the C.R. Chamber." Pearl said.
But Optimus was worried, "What about the Stasis Pod?" he asked.
"We'll get it, but right now, let's worry about you!" Cheetor said, showing his concern for his mentor.
Back at the Predacon base, Megatron was a little bit disgruntled. "So, Optimus Primal was not destroyed?" he asked Terrorsaur and Waspinator, who was now fully healed from the Energon Build-Up, and Flamenix, who was still recovering from the damage he sustained, were all in robot mode on their platforms. "And worse yet, Flamenix was damaged by that blasted feline, Cheetor!" he slammed his fist on the arm of his chair. "You disappoint me Terrorsaur! Yesssss!"
"B-But, we beat him half to scrap, Lord Megatron!" Terrorsaur defended himself. "No way he'll be flying anywhere!"
Waspinator agreed with him, "Yezzz, we will beat them to the Stasis Pod eazzzily." he said, chuckling a little bit.
"You had better go without me, I need to stay here." said Flamenix, wincing in pain. "That cat is very tough, he damaged me so badly, it looks as though I'm leaking."
"I will act in your stead," said Bluebird.
Megatron nodded at this, "Yessss." he mused. "But, they will still make an attempt. Ah, a land party, yessssss." he said, denoting this as advantageous. "Leaving only Optimus and another one of their own guarding the base." he then suddenly made an alternate decision. "Waspinator, Terrorsaur, Bluebird, you three will proceed immediately to Siberia!" He ordered them. "Ensure that the Protoform robot inside is reprogrammed as a Predacon. Yessss!"
"Yes, Lord Megatron!" they all said in unison, as they saluted him, Terrorsaur and Waspinator transform into Beast Mode and fly out of the room with Bluebird following them.
Megatron then turned to Tarantulas, Scorponok, DarkFanger, Jasper and Spinotor. "As for the five of you, you shall not be idle, no." he said to them, making them turn around and face him. "With the Maximal Base almost unguarded, this is the perfect time to strike!" he said, slamming his T-Rex head onto the arm.
Back at the Axalon, they all loaded Optimus into the C.R. Chamber and after it closed, they all wondered how bad this situation was. Steven then turned to Garnet.
"Garnet, I know you're hurt, but can you still use the scanners here?" asked Steven.
The darker-colored Gem nodded, "Yes, I can, even while injured."
"Good." said Rhinox. "Maybe you can find a way to boost the signal, so there is no interference."
"Right, I can do that with one hand," said Garnet.
This left Steven stunned a little bit. "Wow, even when she's hurt she still goes on." he said.
"Yeah, that's Garnet for ya." said Amethyst.
As Garnet scanned the perimeter for any more intruders, she noticed that there were none. "No further Predacon presence in the area." she said.
"Phew, close call," said Steven. "Speaking of which, with Garnet and Amethyst out of commission and Optimus in the C.R. Chamber, I gotta call for backup.
Rattrap was a little confused, "What'cha mean, Steven?" he asked.
"You'll see." said Steven, as he got out his phone, dialed a few numbers. And then he heard a ringing tone. Rattrap, Cheetor and Dinobot wondered who it was that Steven was calling. "Hey, need your help. How soon can you get to the Axalon?" he asked.
"We're already here, Steven." said a female voice. They all looked up and saw that it was Lapis, Peridot and Bismuth, they all gathered and went into the base.
"Lapis, good timing," said Steven. "And you brought Peridot and Bismuth, great!" He felt glad they were there. Then, he introduced them to the Maximals. "Oh, this Rhinox, Cheetor, Rattrap and Dinobot. The one in the CR Chamber is Optimus Primal. They're Maximals from the planet Cybertron."
Peridot and Bismuth gasped, "Cybertronians, wow!" said Peridot. "It's nice to meet you all. I'm Peridot."
"And I'm Bismuth."
"Nice to meet you as well." said Cheetor.
"Yeah it's glad that you're here," Rattrap said, but then brought them back to the matter at hand. "But we still need to get to the stasis pod before the Predacons do."
Peridot and Bismuth were confused, "Where is this Stasis Pod you speak of?"
Steven began to explain everything to Lapis, Peridot and Bismuth. "The scanner picked up a Stasis Pod entering Earth's atmosphere. And it impacted in Siberia, we have to beat the Predacons and their leader Megatron to it before they reprogram the protoform Maximal inside the Pod into a Predacon."
Bismuth, Lapis and Peridot all gasped in shock. "OH NO!" they all sad in unison.
"So, we'll go by land?" asked Lapis. "Because, I still have my sky boat."
"Is there enough room for all of us in there?" asked Rattrap.
"Sure is," said Steven. "But, with Amethyst and Garnet injured, Pearl should stay and watch over them." Pearl nodded in agreement. "Dinobot, you'll stay here and help Pearl out as well as guard the Axalon, right?"
"I shall do so, indeed, Steven." Dinobot said.
"Alright guys, let's get moving!" Steven instructed.
"GOT IT!" everyone said in unison.
They all got into the Sky Boat and flew off to Siberia, leaving Dinobot and Pearl behind to guard the Axalon.
However, little did they know, Black Diamond was watching the whole thing via his viewscreen on the bridge of his ship. "Ah, this is going to be quite the race."
Just then, Tanzanite showed up and sat next to him, "Hello darling." she said.
"Ah, my dear Tanzanite, good to have you here on the bridge." said Black Diamond, as all the soldiers stood at attention. "You're just in time for the race of the millenium, Steven, the Gems and The Maximals racing to Siberia to get a Stasis Pod before the Predacons do."
Ah, it should be a good race." said the missus, as she sat on her husband's lap and they watched the whole thing.
We now find ourselves in the Sky Boat where Lapis is at the helm and Cheetor feels like something didn't feel right. "Man, I just don't think it's a slick plan!" he said. "Leaving Optimus back at the base."
Steven then brushed his fingers on Cheetor's fur. "And Amethyst and Garnet were badly beaten." he said to him.
"Yeah, especially with ol chopper face as their babysitter." Rattrap added.
"Yeah, but at least Pearl is helping him out." said Lapis, steering the boat in the direction that Steven relayed to them.
"Let's not get too worried about it." said Rhinox. "Besides, it had to be done." he added to this explanation. "Dinobot's weapons were damaged in the battle."
Steven agreed, "Yeah, he's got to recuperate and we gotta make a beeline for this!" he said, adding to the situation. "If that pod was cracked in the crash, the Protoform robot inside will be exposed to Earth's Energon fields!"
"Say no more, Steven." said Lapis, she then stepped on the gas, in a manner of speaking.
Meanwhile, we see the Stasis Pod in a crater where it crashed in a frozen landscape of dark trees and ice. A crackle occurs along it intenittantly and it hisses over and over. In this case, Siberia. The tiger seen earlier has approached it and is sniffing at it cautiously.
Suddenly, the top of the pod begins to open up. Light zooms out briefly, and for a moment we see a robotic hand start to emerge. The tiger backs away cautiously. But then Energon field effects began to crackle, pop and snap over the hand. There is an electronic wail from the robot inside and as the lid slams closed again.
The snow began to fall and so Steven, Lapis, Peridot and Bismuth all materialized Winter clothing to keep them warm and such while the Maximals were robots, they did not require clothing to keep warm. Terrorsaur, Waspinator and Bluebird flew their own way as they navigated through the snowfall, flying up from it and bank, headed north at top speed.
Steven and the others zoomed on the sky boat, thundering along the wind. Then Bismuth went to the periscope and saw something in front of them. "Uh, guys…look!" said Peridot. "We're approaching a deep, wide crevasse, with only a stone spur crossing it.
"Oh man, I wasn't expecting that." said Steven.
"We'll make it over that crevasse," said Lapis.
They're unaware that they were being followed by Terrorsaur, Waspinator and Bluebird.
Terrorsaur then saw something in the distance. "What the? Unbelievable!" he said in shock. "It's that blasted Blue Gem, Lapis Lazuli!"
"Who'zzzz that?" asked Waspinator.
Terrorsaur then told Waspinator about this. "Lapis is a Blue Gem and a flyer," he said. "When Lord Megatron, Tarantulas and I went to that floating mountain, she attacked us with Optimus."
Bluebird gasped, "What, that's her?!" she asked. "Remarkable. Maybe this is your chance for revenge."
"Ah, yes," said Terrorsaur. "Plus, it seems we have competitors for the stasis pod."
Waspinator buzzed in sneakiness. "Wazzzzpinator not think so!" he chuckled evilly.
"Leeeet's…TERRORIZE!" Terrorsaur screeched as he and Waspinator both transformed into Robot mode and began their attack.
It was then that Bismuth turned around and saw something coming for the Sky Boat. "Guys….INCOMING PROJECTILES!" she pointed and saw Waspinator and Terrorsaur firing their weapons.
Cheetor transformed and fired back at them, however, Lapis said, "Steven, take the wheel! I've got some unfinished business to attend to!" she instructed him, as Steven took the helm and she flew up, sword at the ready.
"I was hoping we'd have a rematch, Lapis!" Terrorsaur taunted, as he blocked the blue gem's sword with his arm.
"You want a rematch then you've got one, Terrorsaur!" Lapis shot back.
They're fight was going back and forth a little bit, but then Terrorsaur kicked her in the gut and then fired his pistol at her wing, causing her to crash.
"LAPIS!" Cheetor shouted, as he fired at Terrorsaur, he hit him a little bit but then, Rhinox and Rattrap went into robot mode and joined the fight. Bismuth and Peridot also fired a few blasts from the gems on their bodies as well and they hit Bluebird a little bit, but not enough to injure her.
Waspinator fires at Bismuth and Peridot, they block the shots and then Terrorsaur fires at the mast of the Sky Boat, causing the vessel to crash into the ground.
"They may have crashed the boat, but they won't keep us down!" said Steven, feeling optimistic.
"Hope you're right, Steven!" said Bismuth, blasting at Bluebird.
Cheetor blasts at Bluebird as well, and both their blasts connect. "Yeah, that's what I'm talking about!" said Cheetor. "Good shot, Bismuth!"
"You weren't so bad yourself." Bismuth said, clicking her tongue at him and winking.
Peridot and Rattrap continued to fire at Waspinator, but he dodged them and saved Bluebird, carrying her. In a steep power dive straight into the area, the blasts from below streaking around them.
They dodge as the blasts from above EXPLODE the landscape around them.
Rhinox is already swinging his weapons around. "They're on the move!" he said.
Waspinator and Terrorsaur TRANSFORM back to Beast Mode. They headed straight for the stone spur like a barracuda at a Bar Mitzvah, And then Rattrap was in horror at where the Predacons were going. "Oh, no, no THE BRIDGE!" he shouted.
Steven, Bismuth, Lapis, Peridot, Cheetor and Rhinox all gasped when they saw Bluebird, Terrorsaur and Waspinator crash into the bridge, making a few holes in the vital parts of it as it began to collapse.
Sure enough, Waspinator and Terrorsaur transform back into robot mode as they bank hard, moving north and crash through the stone spur. The stone spur is shattered at both ends and dropped into the crevasse below. Waspinator and Terrorsaur go back into Beast Mode and zoom upward again, Laughing evilly.
Looking toward the destroyed bridge in dumbfounded silence, Steven and the others were feeling a little bit of defeat with no way to cross now. "That...was some cold slag.
"Damn it!" said Lapis.
"I better report this!" said Steven. He got out his communicator and said, "Axalon, this is Steven Universe. Pearl, you read me?" he said.
Back at the Axalon, Pearl heard him. "I read you loud and clear, Steven. What's going on?"
"Terrorsaur, Bluebird and Waspinator wrecked the bridge, no way across." said Steven. "Plus, they wrecked the sky boat. I'm gonna have to fix it, but until I do, can you find an alternate route?"
"Sure Steven, right away!" Pearl replied to him. "Dinobot, could you find an alternate route for Steven and the others?"
Dinobot nodded and looked at the console for one, and after a few moments of doing so, "Got it!" he said. "There's an alternative route three minutes away from your position. Fix the Sky Boat, head that way and good luck. Dinobot and Pearl out."
"Thanks," said Steven. "Alright, let's get this boat fixed and head to the new route!"
They all nodded, "Yeah, and let's be quick about it!" added Lapis. And with that said, they all began to fix the Sky Boat.
Back at the Axalon, Pearl and Dinobot both feel concerned for Amethyst and Garnet. Garnet decided to rest at one of the windows while Amethyst was sleeping in Cheetor's room, since he put a beanbag chair in there for her to use whenever she'd like and she was sleeping.
"With time, Amethyst will heal." said Pearl, as she and Dinobot think of something and were looking toward the C/R Chamber broodingly
Dinobot then thought and said, "Computer!" he started off, getting a beeping sound. "Access and activate Optimus Primal's core consciousness .
|Acknowledged.| said the computer.
It was at that moment that a wireframe holographic display of Optimus Primal in the C/R Chamber appeared above the parallel. Lines leading to his core consciousness light up and blink and the core lights as well.
|Core consciousness activated.| said the computer.
"On screen." said Pearl.
Before their eyes, a holographic image of Optimus' gorilla-head appears in the style of Zordon from Power Rangers, looking mildly surprised.
Optimus' holographic head blinked and it asked them, |Don't tell me, let me guess. Problems already?| he wondered.
"Indeed," said Dinobot. "The others have been forcibly delayed. The Predacons will reach the Pod first if we don't stop them."
"Do you have any alternative ideas?" asked Pearl.
Optimus then asked, |Is there any way we can contact the Pod?|
Dinobot shook his head, "The Energon Fields in Siberia are too strong. Our com-links will not reach it."
"Hmmm." Optimus thought about it again. |How about the laser pulse?|
"Impossible!" Pearl said, feeling stunned. "We would need line-of-sight transmission to do such a thing."
|Isn't there anything we could bounce it off of?| asked Optimus, wanting to know. |A mountain? Clouds? Anything?|
"Hmmm." Dinobot then had a solution as he was struck by an idea. Slowly, he turns his head and looks upward. Through an overhead viewport in the main hold, where he sees one of the twin moons gleaming in the sky. "Perhaps there is….The moon!"
"YES!" said Pearl. "We can bounce the laser signal off the moon and send it to the Pod!"
|That will work.| Optimus smiled at Pearl, commending her for her flash of brilliance.
Outside the Maximal base, Dinobot is setting up the laser pulse satellite, little realizing that Megatron, Jasper, Spinitor, DarkFanger, Tarantulas, and Scorpinok are observing from the cover of the rocks. "Ah. As I surmised, yess." said Megatron in an amused mood. He sees Dinobot is atop the base in Beast Mode, adjusting a laser cannon to aim upward. "The remaining Maximal on guard is none other than our own traitorous turncoat."
"So, Dinobot is up there, eh?" said Spinotor. "And he seems to be adjusting a large soup bowl."
"I believe that's a satellite dish," said DarkFanger.
"We shall not waste this opportunity. No." said Megatron. He gives the other two a "spread out" signal with his foreclaws. They stealthily move off to either side. Megatron steps forward. Just finishing the adjustment to the laser cannon when he hears Megatron's voice. "Ah…Dinobot, yessss."
Dinobot whirls to face Megatron, who is out in the open now, standing just outside the base perimeter Sconoinok and Tarantulas are nowhere to be seen. "Dinobot, MAXIMIZE!" he said, transforming into robot mode.
"Oh, no, no, no." the Predacon leader said, trying to calm him down. "Calmness, calmness, please. I came only to talk, yess." he added, making Dinobot feel a little confused. "After all, you are alone and in command of the Maximal base. An excellent opportunity, is it not?"
"What is that supposed to mean?" asked Dinobot.
"You were a Predacon once. Become one again." Megatron offered. "Turn the base over to me, and the Beast Wars will be over. We Predacons will rule the Galaxy, and you shall be my second in command. What do you say?" he asked.
However, when Jasper heard that, she cracked a joke to Scorponok, "Looks like you might have some competition for Lord Megatron's loyalty, Shell-Head." she said.
"Mind your tone, Jasper!" Scorponok shot back at her.
Dinobot glares at Megatron and chuckles a little bit before he shouts, "EAT SLAG!" His eye-lasers fire at Megatron.
The blasts hit him and rock him slightly, but he recovers, straightening and giving Dinobot an icy look and then signals the others. "Vaporize him at once!" said Megatron.
Scorpinok, DarkFanger, Jasper, Spinotor and Tarantulas rise up from all sides of the perimeter and fire their blasters at him. The blasts streak in and hit Dinobot on either side, hurling him somersaulting off the top of the base. "AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHH!" he roared in pain and rage. He crashed down before the open main hatch.
"Finish him!" Megatron said, as they all went over to the edge of the ship.
"Take this you Predacon traitor!" said Spinotor.
Scorponok and Tarantulas fire at him again, as did Jasper, Spinotor and DarkFanger. But Dinobot staggers to the hatch as explosions erupt around him. He rolled out of the way as he *SLAM* against a control panel and says, "Pearl, I need some help!" he said.
"I'm on it!" Pearl said, hedging over to the console. "Computer, autoweapons, ON!"
"Acknowledged." said the computer.
Missiles and blasters activate and fire at Tarantulas, Jasper, DarkFanger, Spinotor and Scorponok, knocking them back. But not before Tarantulas moved slowly and got blasted down, same went for Jasper. Scorponok however was so frightened, he slowly began shivering in fear. He shivered so much, he made chattering sounds, causing him to get blasted down too, same went for Spinotor, but DarkFanger went back into Beast Mode and slithered down to the ground.
The cannons all armed to the teeth fired at Megatron and "Aaargh! Fall back! Fall back!" he instructed. They all converted back into Beast Mode and Jasper got on Spinotor's back.
"High-Ho Spinotor, away!" she said and he stomped away from the area.
(A/N: That was a reference to The Lone Ranger, the greatest cowboy in all pop-culture in my opinion.)
Reacting as Dinobot (Robot Mode) staggers in, shorting and sparking. Dinobot crashes against the comm panel, collapsing as he brings a robotic fist down on a button. "Now...Optimus! Laser in…position!"
Retreating into the night as the base cannons continue to fire after them. Tarantulas and Scorponok transformed back to Beast Mode and followed DarkFanger, Spinotor and Megatron. "Forget the Axalon. Let us secure the pod!" said the T-Rex Predacon, as they all ran off.
Inside the base, the holographic head of Optimus said, "Computer! Uploading instructions…Now!"
The laser cannon atop the base fired upward, streaking toward the moon, reflecting the beam. It then zoomed downward with the reflected beam to find the Stasis Pod, the bottom half-buried in ice and now bathed in the laser light. It beeped as the Tiger we saw before and still near it, it was startled.
There is a squeal of data transmission pushing in on the pod as a small device suddenly rises up from it and the beam shoots out.
Meanwhile, a long distance away, Steven, Lapis, Bismuth, Peridot, Rhinox, Cheetor, and Rattrap are atop an icy hill in the fixed Sky Boat, looking into the night sky at the laser beam reflecting from the moon and vanishing from the horizon.
"Whoa! What the shorting circuit is going on there!?" asked Rattrap, as he was surprised.
"Looks like a line-of-sight laser pulse!" said Steven. "Pearl and Dinobot must have fired it!"
"They're using it to convert the Protoform into Beast Mode like that?" Bismuth asked. "I didn't think that would be possible!"
"Well, whatever the signal is, it's too little, too late." said Cheetor, as his eyes flare with electronic enhancement and he gets a closer view of Bluebird, Terrorsaur and Waspinator flying over the horizon toward the distant point of laser impact. "The Preds are gonna beat us to the pod!"
However, we now finally arrive in the Northern Siberian Sea and it is here that we see a pair of Siberian Tigers, atop a high hill, semi-silhouetted against the twin moons, which are huge in the sky. As we see them on the hill, one of the tigers roars. The other tiger observes for a beat, then roars as well. And away into the distance, we see the stasis pod still half-frozen in ice.
Waspinator is carrying Bluebird on his back while Terrorsaur keeps flapping his wings and Waspinator's enhanced vision shows multiple images, as if seen through a fly's eye. The main image is central, however, and there are electronic readouts. "Wazzzpinator seezzz the pod!" he said, still fying through the arctic air. "Only a few minutes away. Megatron will reward uzzz."
"Indeed he will!" said Terrorsaur. "Let's DIVEBOMB!" he added, as the two redouble their efforts as they race toward the distant pod.
There was a distant sound, it was almost like Thunder. The ground shakes and holds a beat on the ridge and then suddenly, a huge figure comes stomping over it in a high Leap. It crashed down in the foreground, itself to be Megatron, all alone this time, his powerful tyrannosaur body thundering at 300 miles an hour as he thundered north "Would that I could trust those flyers to secure the pod alone…" he groaned in frustration. He continued thundering north into the distance.
Meanwhile, at the Axalon, with the Perimeter Defense Shield still activated. Optimus emerges from the C/R Chamber, fully restored. He carefully eases the sparking and battered Dinobot. Amethyst, Garnet took their bandages off and found their injuries have fully healed too.
"I'm glad you guys are fully healed," said Pearl. "Now we can help Steven and the others."
"Damn straight!" said Amethyst.
"Yes." added Garnet.
Optimus nodded in agreement to that as he no longer needed to be in the C/R Chamber, now it was Dinobot's turn to be in there. "Hang on, Dinobot." he said, "We'll have you restored before you know it. But in the meantime, We've got to fly." he added, as Dinobot was now in the chamber and closed the door. The chamber hums as it activates. "Optimus Primal…MAXIMIZE!" He transforms into Robot Mode and slams a finger down on a com-button. "Computer!" the device beeped. "Deactivate autocannons and reactivate in thirty seconds!"
"Acknowledged." said the computer.
He then turned his head to the three main Gems that live with Steven. "Pearl, Amethyst, Garnet, you ready?"
"Oh yeah!" they all said in unison. They managed to materialize a set of wings for each of them.
"Excellent!" Optimus strides out and stops in a commanding position, "PrimeJets on!" he said, with a roar of power, his jets rocket him into the sky with Pearl, Amethyst and Garnet following him as they streak northward.
Back in Siberia, the Predacons dive-bombed to the Stasis Pod and the base of it was still frozen in ice. Waspinator and Terrorsaur (now in Robot Modes) are beside it along with Bluebird. Waspinator is using a laser to try to burn the ice away. (No water, just steam.) "Hurry!" Terrorsaur yelled.
"Yes, time is of the essence!" Bluebird added.
At that moment *BOOM* An explosion erupts beside them. They all turn, startled, to see on a nearby rise stand Steven, Bismuth, Lapis, Peridot, Rhinox, Rattrap, and Cheetor, all in battle position. Cheetor's quasar rifle is armed and ready to fire on them. "Hold it right there!"
"Don't even think about stealing that Pod!" Bismuth yelled.
"Yeah!" added Rattrap. "You're messin' with Maximal property, thievin' Pred scumbags!" Overlooking the scene. The two tigers are there, watching cautiously.
"We will not allow you to swipe that pod, so if you know what's good for you…" Peridot started off.
"You'll give yourselves up!" added Steven.
"We've got a friend in there and we won't let you turn him into a Predacon!" said Rhinox.
"If any of you even think about taking the protoform out of there, you'll be blown to scrap and bolts!" Lapis said, feeling angry for what happened prior. "Besides Terrorsaur, it's payback time for hurting my wing!" she snarled.
One of the tigers growled, lowering its head with a grimace of pain. The other paws at its head.
Still standing by the pod, all their weapons trained on the Maximals and Steven. "You won't stop us, Maximals!" taunted Terrorsaur.
Suddenly, all of them react to Megatron, leaping into the scene from behind a ridge, and landing on his feet. "They certainly shall not! MEGATRON TERRORIZE!" By the time he smashes down, he is in full Robot Mode. He brings up his blaster. "The Stasis Pod is ours, Maximals! For I know your weaknesses, yessss."
Rhinox looked on in anger. Half-turning, his blaster fires a purple streak and it impacts on the icy ridge where the two tigers are. *BLAM* With the tigers atop it, the ridge crumbles and the startled tigers fall down into a narrow inset crevice below. Megatron then began aiming his blaster. The tigers are trapped in the crevice, with nowhere to run but directly into Megatron's blaster. They react by snarling. Megatron has his blaster aimed at them with evil casualness. He laughed evilly.
Reacting to the situation, Steven shook his fist, "Let them go, Megatron! THEY'RE NOT PART OF THIS, DAMMIT!" he yelled in a rage.
"That's right. Just innocent creatures." Megatron said, trying to bargain with them. "So, surrender yourselves and this pod or they shall be terminated!" he warned.
The tigers were scared of this, one was cringing with fear, the other with eyes narrowed in anger.
Steven and the others look at each other for a long beat. Then, in mutual, unspoken agreement, they all lower their weapons and toss them on the ground. "You win, ya depraved wad of freakin' slag-crap." Rattrap said, insulting Megatron.
Megatron gloats, "Cultivated as always, even in defeat." he said, as he walked off. "Now witness my moment of triumph as I reprogram the protoform Maximal within the pod into a Predacon! Yess." he walked over to Waspinator, Terrorsaur and Bluebird. "OPEN THE POD!" he said.
Waspinator clicks and thaws the pod latch button. Slowly, the pod hisses open and all they react in shock. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Terrorsaur yelled.
"You've got to be kidding me!" said Bluebird.
Megatron was angry, "Whaaaaat!?" They all looked inside it, hoping to find the Protoform, but there was nothing inside. "It's empty!" he said. "Where the hell is the Maximal?!" he demanded.
Just then, the sound of wind blew and then…"Right here." said a male voice. The four of them turn around. As Megatron turns around, he gasps to see that one of the tigers was speaking. "Tigatron…MAXIMIZE!" The new Maximal, now called Tigatron, transformed into robot mode and snarled. His robot form looked like a white and green version of Cheetor. He fired his main cannon and Megatron was hit off-guard and smashed backward into Bluebird, Waspinator and Terrorsaur. They all crash to the ground
"Whoa! I wasn't expecting that!" said Steven.
Reacting, grabbing for their weapons, the Maximals and Gems all cheered, "Wahoo! All right Tigatron!"
"Let's do it guys!" said Cheetor, as all of them opened fire at the Predacons while Lapis began fighting Terrorsaur hand to hand. Lapis did a few martial arts kicks and tripped Terrorsaur. "Nice shot Lapis!"
"Thank you!" she said.
Optimus Primal then began flying in, jets flaming, as he, Pearl, Amethyst and Garnet zoom downward, "Looks like we're missing out on the fun!" said Amethyst. "Who's the new guy helping Steven and the others?"
"Computer, identify new robot!" Optimus said to the computer.
"Identity confirmed, Maximal Unit…Tigatron." said the computer.
"Tigatron, hmm. Interesting name." said Garnet.
Pearl got a good look at the new Maximal. "He looks like Cheetor, only he's white and green. Could they be twin brothers?"
"No way." said Amethyst.
"Let's help them!" said Optimus, as he fired his missiles at Megatron and his group.
Already running as the blasts and explosions hammer around them, they all realize they are outnumbered. "Beast mode! PREDACONS, RETREAAAAT!" Megtron ordered, as he transforms into Beast Mode on the run. Terrorsaur and Waspinator jump into the air and transform as well. All three head into the distance, missiles still bombarding after them. As Megatron vanishes over a ridge, a missile vanishes with him. There is a *BOOM* and a flare from the ridge, and we hear Megatron yelling in failure. "Arrrgh! BLAST IT ALL!"
Returning to Beast Mode. Tigatron moves up to them, transforming back to Beast Mode as he does so. Optimus lands nearby, along with Amethyst, Pearl and Garnet. He transforms back to a gorilla and steps forward. "Greetings. Tigatron, I'm Optimus Primal, leader of the Maximals." he introduced himself. "This is Amethyst, Pearl and Garnet, they are Gems. The ones who helped you are Rhinox, Cheetor, Rattrap, Lapis Lazuli and Steven Quartz Universe."
"Hi there." said Steven. "This is Bismuth and Peridot."
"Hello," said Bismuth.
"Howdy." Peridot added.
"You had us worried for a while," said Optimus. "We didn't if you'd made it."
"I almost didn't." said Tigatron explaining everything. "The crash…damaged my identity circuits. I didn't know…who I really was or which side I was on, until…" he looked at Cheetor "Until I saw all of you, willing to risk your lives to save us." he pointed at the other tiger that was with him. The other tiger steps cautiously up beside him. "This is the one who I scanned the form of. I call her…Snowstalker."
"Hi Snowstalker." Steven said cautiously, as the second tiger, now called Snowstalker, nudged her head against Steven, making him smile.
Optimus nodded, "Well, we're just glad you came through." he said. "We can use another member of the Maximal force." he looked at Tigatron. "Our ship or what's left of it is due south about a hundred klicks in Steven's hometown, Beach City."
But Tigatron is shaking his head. "No. No, I'm sorry, but no." The others look surprised. "I...am still more of a tiger than a Maximal. Until my identity circuits restore themselves, I feel my place is here. In the wilds, with…" he looks towards Snowstalker. "...with my kind." but he looks at them again. "But you may count on my loyalty." he reassured.
They Look at each other and shrug, "Sounds good to me." said Steven.
"Same here." said Rhinox, as he, Cheetor, Rattrap, Amethyst, Pearl and Garnet nodded.
"Yeah, we could use a scout up here," said Rattrap. "Y'know in case the Preds get up to something."
Optimus agreed to it. "Then it's settled…for now," he smiled. "But I have a feeling we'll meet again, Tigatron. And soon." He raises a hand in salute, then turns, as he and the other Maximals begin heading away, back south toward the base in the sky boat.
"Bye Tigatron, bye Snowstalker!" said Steven, waving goodbye to them. "Best of luck to you!"
With Snowstalker beside him, watching them go. His face has a trace of sadness on it, "Same to you, Steven Universe. Let the trails lead where they may. I will follow." he said, as he and Snowstalker turned and moved toward the wilderness. They looked up to see the two brilliant moons and then the lights in the sky began showing.

The Amazing Ghost Musician: Hell to the yeah, my broski! I can tell you, Tigatron is gonna fit well with both the Gems and the Maximals.
Me: Me too! Also, I wonder what other surprises will be in store. But other than that, we are gonna be using the Club Luda set from Def Jam Vendetta for the remainder of the first season of this story. Plus, we even got a new DJ too!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Interesting enough! This will be a better way to celebrate the holidays, which is something those idiots of the WWE haven't been doing.
Me: Yeah, there is that! Speaking of which, watch what I do with the lights. (I snap my fingers to make the lights be like those on a Christmas tree and move like those in a wrestling arena.)

Me: I know, right!?
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Now this could be something that All Elite Wrestling should do for an upcoming episode of Dynamite.
Me: Yeah, they should do that. Or they could even do it for an episode of Rampage.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Well anyway, we hope you all enjoyed this chapter. There will be another one coming out sometime in January, be sure you all tune in for that.
Me: Yeah, the next one features the debut of Blackarachnia. And not only that, but there's another secret in the wait.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: But for those of you who will be asking, the answer is… NO! Rattrap will not be suspected by his own team as a traitor in any type of way.
Me: Instead, he, Steven and Amethyst go to infiltrate the Predacon base.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: It will be one hell of a setup that the Predacons will not see coming. Also just to make the next chapter more interesting, Megatron will actually step this one out to see how his team of Predacons can do without him.
Me: Indeed so, plus, I am also thinking of writing a script for a game that is inspired by the Def Jam games, Saints Row and Beat Down: Fists Of Vengeance.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: That would be awesome, broski! I'm sure that almost any video game company would pay you big money for that idea.
Me: Indeed so. I would like it to be the same company that made the Def Jam games, even though they go by a different name now.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Anyway, we should close this out. You know the drill!
