Chapter 3: Snakebit

The sun rises on a new day as it shines down on the ninjas new home, the Destiny's Bounty. The sounds of a gong crashing is heard as Sensei Wu enters the ninjas new sleeping quarters as he bangs on said gong. "Evil doesn't sleep, and neither should you." Wu told them as he bang the gong louder and each of them grunting as they were trying to sleep. "In order to reach your full potential, we must greet each day as an opportunity."

"Okay, okay, we're up." Trail said as he jumped down from the top bunk of the three bunk beds in the room. "But if you want us to reach our full potential, shouldn't we at least get a full night of rest?" He asked as he walked over to some blinds. But when he pulled the cord to open them, they fell off the window and to the floor.

"Unh, you call that rest?" Landrush asked as he bend backwards to pop his back as everypony was getting up. "I think my back has more lumps than the mattress."

"It more like we slept on rocks than mattresses..." Gaia complained.

"We were up so late, talking about how cold it is to have a new headquarters I guess we lost track of time." Thunder said as he was by the sink, ready to brush his teeth. But when you turn the knob, instead of water pouring out, there was sand on this toothbrush. "Since the serpentine burn down the monastery, I'm just glad we have a roof over our heads- Ack!" He spite out the sand the moment he started to brush.

"What is our lesson today, sensei?" Frost asked well he stretched. "Mastering the strike of the scorpion? Or perhaps the grace of a-" He was about to pose when the floorboards give out and he fell through while dust kicked up.

"I think today's lesson will be chores." Wu told them.

"Chores?" All six asked.

"Ninja fight, sensei. They do not clean." Landrush said.

"In order to respect ourselves, we must respect our new home and where we are from." Wu told them. "And this place is a long way from becoming a ninja headquarters. I expect things to be spotless when I return. And put your backs into it." He bang the gong one last time before he left. Both Flash and Landrush helped Frost out of the hole.

"Ah, this place is gonna take forever to clean and fix up." Flash complained when he looked around.

"Unless we put more than our backs into it, huh?" Thunder said as the others got what he was saying.

"NINJA, GO!" Both Landrush and Gaia, in their ninja suits did Spinjitzu in a room full of junk. As they moved around the room, they picked up each junk before they spun outside and set the junk down with a sign saying yard sale.

In a different room, both Trail and Frost leap into the room and find it covered in dust. Frost took out his shurikens and threw at a wall, causing the room to be covered in ice. Trail then took out his sword and have it covered in flames to melt the ice. "NINJA, GO!" They both shouted as they did Spinjitzu and once the ice was gone, the room was clean.

Below the deck is what looked to be a generator room where Flash, Gaia, and Thunder are trying to get the power back on. As Flash and Gaia beat on a small power box, Thunder walked over to a sheet and pulled it off. There stood a large generator and with his Nunchucks of lightning, Thunder hit the generator and power it up. When the lights in the room turned on, both Flash and Gaia hoof bumped each other thinking they turned it on.

Outside, the ninjas open the sails up and so much sand was all over it. "NINJA, GO!" Flash shouted as he did Spinjitzu and blow away all the sand off both the sails and the deck. Soon Wu return with Aqua, the main six, and the young six to find the place all clean and the ninjas relaxing by playing video games.

"What took you so long?" Trail asked them.

"Wow! This place looks amazing." Twilight complemented.

"You guys did all this?" Gallus asked.

"Ninja don't just fight, Gallus. We clean." Landrush said.

"Oh. You have exceeded my expectations, but can you keep it up?" Wu asked as Aqua heard a noise outside.

"You know if this ninja thing doesn't work out, you six could start a cleaning business." Rarity said as Aqua looked out a window. Outside she saw a gey unicorn stallion with a white beard and main with a light blue unicorn mare with glasses driving a automobile made of different parts.

"It looks like we're about to have some visitors." Aqua told them. "And loud ones at that."

"Oh, it's my parents." Thunder said, not sounding too happy. "Please, if they start yapping, just don't get them going, okay? They don't know when to quit. And if you start talking, then they'll start talking, and suddenly half the day is gone and before you know it-"

"We get it! They talk a lot!" Gaia shouted. "The cherry doesn't fall far from its blossom." Outside the couple accidentally drove into the junk.

"Oh, heh. Take a note, Scrip." The stallion said to the mare. "Either better brakes or a better bumper. Oh, well you look at all this great stuff." He said when he saw the yard sale. "They can't just get rid of it. We should have brought the wagon, Scrip."

"This ain't a flea market, Bolt. We're here for Thunder." Scrip told the stallion.

"How's that? Did you take the note?" Bolt asked as he acted like he could barely hear her.

"I'm writing it down, Bolt." Scrip told him as she took out a notebook and wrote something down.

"Mom, Dad, what are you doing here?" Thunder asked as he and the others are above deck.

"Oh, look, it's my baby boy." Scrip said excitedly. "It's been so long since we've heard from you."

"Ma, I wrote to you two days ago." Thunder told them.

"Well, it's not soon enough, son." Bolt said as they stepped out of the vehicle. "Oh and Princess Twilight is here too." Both he and Scrip quickly bow to Twilight. "It's an honor to meet you your highness."

"The pleasure is all mine." Twilight said. "Very unique transportation got there."

"Thank you, I made it myself." Bolt said before he looked at Thunder. "When are you coming out to the junkyard? You say you're coming, and then you don't."

"Wait, Thunder was born in a junkyard?" Rainbow Dash asked with a chuckle.

"Dad, do we have to talk about the junkyard in front of my friends?"

"He hates it when we tell others he was born in a junkyard." Scrip told them before she saw Aqua. "Oh. And who are you? You are so cute. You're just my son's type."

"Mom!" Thunder complained with a blush.

"It's pleasure to meeting you." Aqua told them. I'm sure if you want, Thunder can give you the tour. He worked very hard on it."

"We'd love a tour." Both Scrip and Bolt said with excitement while Thunder just gave a sigh. Through the rest of the day, Thunder showed his parents around the ship til he showed them the bridge with a high tech computer showing a map of Equestria.

"And this is the bridge. This extends into a periscope." Thunder said as he pulled it down. "This tell us what's going on in Equestria. And this..." He jumped over to a machine. "If a serpentine is not giving the answers we want, and we're up late at night-"

"A neuro apparatus to read their minds?" Scrip asked excitedly and interrupted Thunder.

"An audio appliance to make them talk?" Bolt asked.

"No, a cappuccino machine." Thunder said as he put a cup under the machine and poured coffee in it.

"Ha-ha. Amazing, son. We're so proud of you." Bolt complimented.

"Though, those things they mentioned before would have been useful." Smolder whispered to Ocellus and Sandra.

"Why don't you tell them about the button?" Landrush asked as he stood next to a big red button.

"Ha-ha. It's not ready yet." Thunder told him.

"Oh, what's the button?" Scrip asked.

"He's working on a special defense system." Frost answered.

"Something every ninja headquarters needs." Flash said.

"Oh really? What does it do?" Bolt asked. "Can I help?"

"No, it's okay. I don't need your help, Dad." Thunder said as pulled his Dad from the button. "Let's just leave it alone. Hey, look at the time. Don't you need to get back before it gets dark? I told you, there's dangerous Serpentine out there."

"Uh, I suppose we could get back." Bolt said with a small sad look.

"Scrip, it was a pleasure hearing about Thunder's first potty time." Gaia said with a grin on her face.

"Oh, if you thought that was good, wait until you hear the story about the time I caught him kissing his pillow." Scrip said, making Thunder blush.

"Ugh. Snakes, Ma, snakes." Thunder reminded.

"Okay. We're going, we're going." Scrip said as she and Bolt head back to their vehicle. "So you promise to come to the junkyard and visit?"

"Yes. I promise. But only if you leave." Thunder told them as they backed up the vehicle. "I don't want you to get hurt. It's getting dark. Uh, your headlights are working, right?" The moment he asked, the headlights turned on so bright and nearly blinded them.

"Heh. Like them?" Bolt asked. "I used a little extra juice." He turned off the lights before they drove off. "Yep. Bye, son! I couldn't be more proud!"

"And bring Aqua with you, will you?" Scrip asked. "I can see why you like her!"

"Mom!" Thunder grunted.

"Now that they have left, perhaps Thunder can teach us the art of kissing pillows." Wu said with a chuckle. Thunder grunted before he walked back inside while the others burst into laughter.

"I don't think he's coming, dear." Bolt told Scrip as thet drove back to the junkyard.

"Stop it, Bolt. He's coming." Scrip said.

"No, he doesn't need us anymore." Bolt said. "I just have to remember that. Uh, write it down for me, would you?"

"Oh, dear." Scrip said as she wrote it down. "Lights, dear, it's getting dark."

"Right, heh. Thanks, sugarplum." Bolt said as he turned on the lights.

As night falls across Equestria, Lloyd followed the map he took from the Hypnobrai Serpentine to a creepy cemetery in the middle of a forest. "It's not scary." Lloyd told himself. "Um, maybe just a little, but I like scary. Yeah, that's it. I'm the son of the Dark Lord, I love the dark." He said as he looked around. "I eat this stuff for breakfast." He said before he turned around and screamed when he saw an old tree that looked like two snake heads. "If I'm gonna to make those Hypnobrai pay for betraying me, I have to find the Fangpyres. If there's anything a snake doesn't like, it's another snake. Here, by the mutated tree, I found it." He kneeled down to move a bit of mist out the way to see an entrance to the tomb with two snake heads on the front. "Soon, the Serpentine will know who their master is and it will be I, Lloyd Garmadon!" A crash of thunder scared him before he pushed the button to open the tomb.

The moment it open, Serpentine with red and white scales leap out and frightened Lloyd. Lloyd turned to come face to face with a large Serpentine with a long tail, like Sacles, sharp teeth, white eyes, two heads, and a staff with a red gemstone in it, the Fangpyre general. "And who...may I say released us...from our captivity?" The two heads of the general took turns speaking.

"Uh, Lloyd." Lloyd answered. "I released you to make the Hypnobrai for betraying me."

"The Hypnobrai?" The general asked. "Those hypnotizing deceivers. It'll be...our pleasure."

"Oh, good. I'll lead the way." Lloyd told the general. "Then after that, there's some ninjas I want dealt with."

"Sounds like...you know...what you want." The general said. "But the Hypnobrai are strong. And we are few in numbers. We need... reinforcements."

"What did you have in mind?" Lloyd asked as the general hissed.

Soon Bolt and Scrip pulled in a junkyard with a sign that says "Bolt & Scrip's Scrap n Junk."

"Home, sweet, home." Blot said after parking before getting out and picked a toolbox. "And back to the grind." He said as he walked to a statue of Thunder, made out of the junk.

"Oh, sweetie, you've been working on that thing thing day and night." Scrip said as she walked to a trailer.

"Well, you never know when Thunder may show up." Bolt told Scrip.

"Oh, you're right. You never know." Scrip said as she entered the trailer. When Bolt reached the statue, he put down his toolbox and took out some tools before he got to work. As he worked on the statue, a shadowy figure ran by. Bolt stopped working when he heard the footsteps.

"Uh, Scrip? Was that you?" Bolt asked.

"What, Bolt? Are you hearing things again?" Scrip called out from across the yard.

"Uh, you, uh- You turned on the security alarm before you left, didn't you, hon?" Bolt asked. Scrip walked out of the trailer and over to a box with a switch in it. She flipped the switch a few times when she opened the box.

"Uh, must be broken." Scrip told him before the lights went out.

"Whoever's there, my son knows Spinjitzu!" Bolt told whoever turned off the lights. He heard hissing and growling from the shadows when he saw a shadow go along a wall. Bolt quickly ran to Scrip when he heard the hissing.

"What is it? Oh, why are the lights out?" Scrip asked.

"Call Thunder, hon. Somepony's broken in." Bolt told her.

"How about we wait until he calls you." Lloyd told them as he and the Fangpyre general stood on top of the trailer.

"Bolt?" Scrip asked, sounding scared.

"Be strong, Scrip." Bolt told her. "I won't let them hurt you."

"If we plan...to attack...the Hypnobrai...we'll need to grow...our army." The general told Lloyd.

"And, uh, how do we do that?" Lloyd asked.

"Let's just sssay...we Fangpyres bite off more...than we can chew." The general told him. "Have at it, boys!" The Fangpyre Serpentine came out of the shadows and went over to some of Bolt's creations, a unfinished helicopter, unfinished bike, and unfinished car before they bit into them. Their venom course through them before they transformed into sentient snake like vehicles.

"My creations! They're turning them into-" Bolt said before the general came up to him and Scrip.

"An army? You are correct." The general said. "But we can also...turned other creatures too." He said with a mischievous grin as the other Serpentine surrounded both Bolt and Scrip.

The next day at the Destiny's Bounty, Thunder was working on the defense system as Trail, Flash, Gaia, and Frost walked pass him while carring junk. "Sure got a lot of junk piling up." Trail said.

"Yeah, if only there was a place we could get rid of it." Flash said.

"Maybe Thunder knows a great place." Gaia said.

"If you don't mind, I'm trying to focus." Thunder told them.

"Hi, Mom and Dad, of course I'd love to visit." Landrush said as he was pretending to write a letter. "What kind of son would I be if I didn't want to?" He asked before Thunder laughed sarcastically.

"I know what you're trying to do." Thunder told them. "Okay, look. I might have promised to visit my parents. But there's a lot of stuff in my plate." He told them before came in. Thunder saw her and quickly wiped the oil off his face. "Heh-heh. Hi, Aqua."

"You gonna visit your parents today?" Aqua asked Thunder.

"Uh, sure am. Just about to leave." Thunder answered.

"Tell them I said hi." Aqua said before she left and the others looked at him with a really look.

"What? So my plate's not that full." Thunder said. He was soon went outside to where their dragons are and was trying to get Whisp to get up. "Come on, Whisp. It'll be a quick visit. Just in and out. Nothing more."

"I'm sorry man, but I an't feeling good." Whisp said said before Wu and Dragon Lord Ember came around him.

"Looks like you called me just in time." Ember told Wu. "They're shedding their scales and going through another molt."

"What does that mean?" Thunder asked.

"Every dragon go through a transformation before it becomes an adult." Ember told Thunder. "We dragons migrate East to a place called Spirit Coves for our transformations. And it looks like it's time for these six to do that."

"Will we see them again?" Thunder asked as the others came out.

"It is hard to say." Wu spoke. "But we need to allow them to follow their path."

"Orchy's going East?" Gaia asked before she walked over to her dragon. "Say it isn't so, Orchy."

"I'm afraid it is. I'm going to miss you." Orchy said as the others said their goodbyes to their dragons. Thunder walked over to Aqua as she and Trail was saying goodbye to his dragon.

"Well, I guess I gotta go on this long walk all by myself." Thunder said. "Sure be nice to have company."

"Of course we'll go, buddy." Trail told him.

"I could use a break." Landrush said.

"It would be a nice exercise." Flash said.

"I like to see where you were born." Gaia said.

"All you had to do was that." Frost told Thunder. Thunder sigh because he was hoping it would be just him and Aqua. Soon the dragons took off to the Spirit Coves as the ninjas, Aqua, and Wu walked to Thunder's parents. As they walked to the junkyard, Wu was playing the sacred flute softly. Gaia watch as their dragons fly away til they were out of sight.

"Ah. Of all the days to lose our ride..." Thunder said as they walked.

"That flute, you've never told us why it's so special." Frost reminded Wu.

"Long ago there were many flutes, create combat the powers of the Serpentine and drive them underground." Wu told them. "But over time, Equestria's forgotten its ancestors' wisdom, and now this is the only one." He said before he continued to play the flute.

"I get the lesson, respect your elders or else suffer the consequences." Thunder said as he walked pass Wu. "Boy, you guys are laying it on thick."

"Perhaps you are only hearing what you need to hear." Wu told Thunder. Thunder stops when he sees his parents' junkyard up ahead and he felt something is wrong.

"What is it?" Aqua asked when she walked up next to Thunder.

"It's quiet. My family is never quiet." Thunder said before he and the other ninjas puts on their hoods and they all rushed in. Once inside the junkyard, they heard both Bolt's and Scrip's voices coming from an old fridge with a poll keeping it close. After Thunder kicked the poll off, the fridge open up and he found his parents tied up with tape over their mouths. "What happened? Who did this to you?" He asked before he removed the tape on his mother's mouth and he could see two snake fangs have grown.

"Sssweetheart, you came." Scrip said before Thunder pulled the tape off his father's mouth.

"You gotta get out of here." Bolt told him. "You shouldn't have come. It's the sssnakes."

"The bite of the Fangpyre." Wu said as he knows what's happening to them as Thunder untie his parents. "Once they sink their teeth, their venom can turn anything into a serpent. It's only a matter of time before the full transformation is complete." They all then heard the Fangpyres hiss as a wrecking ball pulled in and the ball itself had a snake face on it as it looked at them.

"Uh, is that wrecking ball staring at us?" Landrush asked as they took a defensive postions.

"Duck!" Thunder shouted as the wrecking ball swung at them and he pushed his parents out of the way as the others jumped out of the way and the wrecking ball missed them.

"Thanksss, son." Bolt told Thunder.

"Lloyd!" Wu said when they spotted him and the general on top of a junk pile.

"Hello, uncle." Lloyd said. "Looks like we're not the only family reunion. I'm glad you brought the ninja. I could use some help taking out the trash."

"If we want to turn your parents back, we need the antivenin from the staff." Aqua told Thunder as the wrecking ball swung back around.

"Second dose, to the dirt!" Gaia shouted as they all ducked from the wrecking ball. The Fangpyres were closing in on them when the dust settled.

"Easier said than done, sis. We're a bit outnumbered." Trail told her as he draw out his sword.

"Nopony messes with my family!" Thunder shouted as he holds up his nunchucks. He then charged at the Serpentine before he jumped and slammed the ground with his nunchucks, causing the serpentine to fall back. "NINJA, GO!" Thunder shouted as he did Spinjitzu and knocked a few more back. As he kept running, the wrecking ball was coming at him. He did a slide well he bend back to dodge the wrecking ball and it got stuck on a poll.

"NINJA, GO!" The rest of the ninjas shouted as they charged before doing Spinjitzu to knock a few Serpentine back. A bunch of them had Wu surrounded, so he began to play the sacred flute. As he did, the Serpentine held their head in pain when they heard it. Aqua then took this opening to kick one in the head before she kicked another in the crotch, then punch a third in the face. She then ground one by the legs and started spinning it around before letting go.

"I don't know, sensei." Aqua said as she over to him. "I think we make a pretty good duet." She said before they heard loud rock music playing. They looked up and saw Lloyd had a boom box playing to drown out the music of the flute.

"Young nephew, must I teach you whose side you should be on?" Wu asked, but Lloyd just turned up the volume.

"Sorry uncle, can't hear you!" Lloyd shouted. When a Serpentine came up behind Wu and was ready to bite him, Scrip hit it in the head with a frying pan to knock it out.

"Yeah. Way to go Scrip." Bolt told his wife.

"NINJA, GO!" All six ninjas shouted as they did Spinjitzu and chased after the Serpentine. As they ran away from them, they saw the statue of Thunder his dad was working on and bite into it. When they stopped, the ground began to shake as the statue came to life and walked around the corner for them to see.

"Ah! What is that thing?" Thunder asked when they saw it.

"It was supposed to be in your honor, son, but do you like it?" Bolt asked as the statue went after them.

"Thanks, but no thanks." Thunder said as they made a run for it as the statue slammed its giant nunchucks to the ground. As they ran, they saw the wrecking ball up ahead and was aiming for them.

"Why'd you have to be born in a junkyard?" Landrush asked Thunder.

"I know. Tell me about it." Thunder said as the wrecking ball swung at them and the ninjas jumped over it. When they landed, they noticed that they're one short of a ninja.

"Ah. Uh, wasn't there six of us?" Flash asked. Thunder managed to get on the wrecking ball the four he backflip off it and land to where a serpentine have been controlling it before he knocked it out. He was confused by the controls as it was a snake face as it hissed at him.

"Let's see if I can work with this." Thunder said before he pushed the fang like lever forward. The statue came at the others and brought its nunchucks down on Landrush as he used his scythe to block and hold the attack.

"Unh, don't worry, I've got it." Landrush said as he struggled to hold it. The statue was pushing down harder on Landrush before Thunder figure out how the wrecking ball works. Lloyd watch as Thunder swung the wrecking ball and knocked down the statue. "I told you, I had it." Landrush told Thunder. Lloyd looked down to where the statue landed after it was hit before he looked at the ninjas, who ready their weapons.

"Retreat!" Lloyd shouted as the rattlecopter rise up behind him and the general while the rest of the Serpentine and the things they turned into snakes ran away. The ninjas watch as LIoyd and the general fly away on the rattlecopter.

"He's getting away with the staff." Aqua said as Thunder's parents were looking more green.

"Me and Flash could fly after them, but who knows what that thing they're on has." Trail said.

"Ah. Right now would be a good time to have those dragons." Thunder said as his parents walk up to him.

"Unh, it's okay, ssson." Bolt told Thunder.

"There is still a way." Wu spoke up.

"How?" Gaia asked.

"Part of reaching your own full potential is understanding your weapon's potential." Wu told them. "Once it is in tune with a focused heart, it's secrets and powers can be unlocked."

"What? This is not the time to be cryptic." Thunder complained.

"He's saying our weapons are vehicles themselves." Frost said.

"Don't tell me I have to ride this like a broomstick?" Flash asked as he looked at his bo.

"Thunder, concentrate on unlocking your golden weapon." Wu told him. "Let your heart guide you. Imagine you're taking flight." Thunder looked at his nunchucks and thought for a moment. He then took a deep breath before he spun his nunchucks around as lightning strikes around him. He then hovered in the air in a ball of electricity before a bright light covered him. When the light died down, he was sitting in a blue jet covered electricity.

"Whoa! Ha-ha! Did I just do that?!" Thunder asked excitedly. Trail looked at his sword when he saw Thunder's nunchucks transformed before he held it up. He then swung it across before he put his hoof across the blade and it cought fire. He then tossed it in the air as flames rose up underneath him before he stabbed the ground with the sword and it transformed into a red motorcycle with blades on the side. Frost spun his shurikens around as ice form when he did. They took form of a bike before he got on it and rev it up. A burst of light cause the ice to break at it was a white and dark blue motorcycle with a bit of ice on front and back.

Flash thrust his bo forward the back before he spun around as the wind gathered around him. Once a flash of light happened, he was sitting in a yellow helicopter with two extra blades on the side. Gaia took her two sais and slashed the ground to have vines grow out to take shape of a chopper motorcycle. Once she stabbed the top of it, a bright light flashed and it took form of a green chopper motorcycle with two sais on the side. Landrush spun his scythe around his back before he tossed it up in the air before it floated above him. The earth below then gather around the scythe as it rise beneath him. Once it was big enough, he grabbed the scythe and struck the small mountain of earth to cause a bright flash of light. The scythe took form of a big black 4x4 vehicle with elements corresponding to Earth.

"I hate to hurt Orchy's feelings, but I think she just been replaced." Gaia said as she was amazed by her new ride. Both Flash and Thunder took off in their jet and copter as they hovered about the ground. The blades on Thunder's jet popped out on its sides before it and the copter fly high in the sky. The others rev up their vehicles before they drove off and after the Serpentine.

"Does your flute turn into anything?" Aqua asked Wu.

"I wish." Wu answered. The rattlecopter was fly with both Lloyd and the general riding it, when Thunder zip passed them on his jet.

"Uh, what the heck was that?" Lloyd asked when he saw Thunder's jet.

"Oops. Ha-ha. Overshot that a little." Thunder said as he turned the jet around and flew straight at the rattlecopter. Others were not too far behind as Thunder had the jet's targeting system on the rattlecopter. "Let's see what this baby can do." He said as he pushed one of the buttons. But the moment he did, the jet started to go out of control as the hood popped up and was swerving from side to side.

"Duck!" The Fangpyre general shouted as he was flying right towards them. Both him and Lloyd ducked down as Thunder flew by them. When they stood up, they saw his staff was gone. "The staff!"

"I got it? I got it!" Thunder cheered as he accidentally took it when he flew by. But that's celebration was short lived, as his jet turn back into his nunchucks in a flash of light. "Uh-oh." He said before he begins to fall and he screamed in fear.

"Thunder, you have to concentrate!" Flash told him.

"I can't!" Thunder shouted.

"We're gonna have to catch him." Landrush said. "I got him."

"No, I got him!" Trail argued.

"I'm already air born, so I got him!" Flash told them.

"I'm faster!" Gaia shouted.

"He's mine." Frost said. When he, Gaia, Trail, and Landrush bumped their vehicles against each other, a flash of light caused them back to their weapons and all five fell on the ground. Thunder was getting too close to the ground before Aqua, driving his parent's vehicle, drove by and caught him. His parents were looking more green and their mouths were more snake like.

"Heh, nice catch." Thunder told Aqua.

"Oh, I knew I liked thisss girl." Scrip said to Bolt. The general had the rattlecopter lower to get the other Fangpyres attention.

"Everyone, attack!" The general ordered and the Fangpyres were going after them. As they did, the ninjas were trying to bring out their vehicles but nothing happened.

"Huh? Why isn't it working?" Trail asked before Aqua pulled up.

"Your weapon is merely an extension of your mind." Wu told them. "If your mind is immobile, so is your weapon."

"Oh, boy. Oh guys. Oh, golly. Oh, duh. Get in!" Bolt told them before they jumped in.

"We have to get back to headquarters." Thunder said as Aqua drove them back to the Destiny's Bounty.

"Go! They're getting away!" Lloyd shouted when he sees them drive off. So the rattlecopter and the Fangpyres went after them. The ninjas soon reach the bounty as they head for the bridge but Aqua and Thunder's parents.

"Come with me." Aqua told Bolt and Scrip who had snake tails and had snake scales. She took the jewel out of the staff. "Once we reverse the Venom, we can fix you." The three the went below deck.

"Man your stations, everypony." Thunder told them as they enter the bridge. Thunder went over to the button as Trail looked out a window and sees the Serpentine coming.

"Thunder, we better hurry." Trail told him.

"I've been waiting for this moment." Thunder said as he pressed the button, but nothing happened.

"They're gaining on us." Trail told them. Aqua and Thunder's parents came into the bridge as she gave them the antivenin in teacups.

"Bottoms up." Bolt said before he and Scrip took a sip of the antivenin. They both laugh as they glowed and the antivenin took effect and returned them to normal. "Oh, that's good."

"Unh, I don't get what's wrong." Thunder said as he repeatedly push the button. I spent forever on this. It's supposed to work." He said as his dad walked over.

"Uh, son, maybe I can help?" Bolt asked and getting Thunder's attention.

"Dad. You're okay." Thunder said with relieved.

"You're darn tooting. Oh, let's have a look." Bolt said as he checked and worked to see if he can get it working. "Oh, yeah, uh-huh. Oh, that should do it. Now try it." He said as he stood up and Thunder pushed the button again. On the outside, the sails popped open and on the sides of the ship on the back turned into rotors and lifted the Destiny's Bounty up into the air.

"No, no, no, no!" Lloyd shouted when he saw the ship rising in the air before he coughed from the smoke the rotors are causing. As the bounty pulled back, Aqua lost her balanced and dropped the staff. The staff fell out and off of the bounty before it bumped one of the Serpentine on the head. The Destiny's Bounty then took off and flew away from them. The rattlecopter lower, allowing the serpentine general to pick up his staff.

"These ninjas...they must be stopped." The general said.

"Oh. Tell me about it." Lloyd told the general. As the Destiny's Bounty flew, Thunder was with his parents.

"We'll get you back to the junkyard just as soon as we see the coast is clear." Thunder told his parents. "But stay as long as you like. It's nice having you here."

"Oh, take a note, Scrip." Bolt told her. "Of all our inventions, this one is our greatest." He said as he held Thunder close.

"I already know, dear." Scrip said as she throw away her note book and joined her husband and son in a group hug. Wu watch Thunder with his family and smile at the sight.
