Chapter 1
Cyniclons ship
It had been about eight months since Pai and Taruto were selected to assist Kisshu on the mission to eradicate the humans and reclaim Earth as their planet. Pai was getting more and more frustrated due to the fact that a bunch of girls continued to defeat them in battle.
Pai finally decided to do some research on each individual Mew Mew. Pai walked into his laboratory looking at a clipboard that had some research he collected on the Mew Mews. He looked up to see Kisshu and Taruto standing at his computer orb, fiddling with it.
"What are you two doing in here?" Pai asked with a snarl. "You know that you are forbidden from entering my lab without me being present or having my permission. And I have not given either of you" Pai said looking over at Kisshu and Taruto "permission. So tell me what you two are doing in my lab?" he asked with clenched teeth.
"We were just watching the new chimera animal Kisshu created." Taruto said with a grin on his face. "He came up with it all by himself. He said it will lead to the destruction of the Mew Mews."
Pai looked back at his clipboard and back up with a raised eyebrow. "I highly doubt that." he said rolling his eyes.
"Well, come see for yourself." Kisshu said smugly moving aside.
Pai walked slowly over to his computer orb and eyed it. It wasn't April first, a holiday humans call 'April Fool's Day' where they play pranks on each other he thought to himself. He inspected it to make sure that neither of his brothers tampered with it.
"What are you doing?" Taruto asked raising an eyebrow.
"I'm inspecting it." he said standing up straight. "Did you two tamper with anything?"
"No." Kisshu said sighing. "Put it up on the screen already." Kisshu said grinning.
Pai eyed him. "I must remember to put a password on my computer orb." Pai thought. He placed his finger on the orb and brought up a large projection screen. There were five lockers of various colors, pink, blue, green, yellow, and purple. These colors were familiar to him. It was a changing room of sorts by the look of it, the Mew Mew's changing room. "Is this…the Mew Mew's headquarters?" Pai asked.
"Well yes. It's their locker room to be more precise." Kisshu said.
"And why are we looking at this?" Pai asked turning his attention to Kisshu. "Where is the chimera animal?"
"Are you familiar with idioms?" Kisshu asked smugly. "They are…" Kisshu said getting cut off by Pai.
"I'm well aware of what idioms are!" Pai snapped quickly. "Bakas!" Pai thought looking at both of his brothers.
"Oh, good. Well there is a saying about being 'a fly on the wall', well that's exactly what this is." Kisshu said crossing his arms with a smirk. "I created a chimera animal that is exactly similar to a fly and we are seeing and hearing everything that it is seeing and hearing."
"Pretty smart isn't it, Pai?" Taruto asked putting his hands on his hips.
Pai had to admit it was an excellent idea, it could prove useful. "Well for one it's not called a fly; its scientific name is diptera. Please use the scientific name in future reference." Pai said holding up his index finger. "Two why is it in the Mew Mew's locker room?"
"So we can spy on them." Kisshu said blatantly. "We can figure out if they are planning anything against us."
Pai's eyes narrowed at Kisshu. "It would be more effective if it was in the basement. Which is where they actually make their plans, and their boss has his surveillance equipment." Pai stated. "To place it in their locker room seems idiotic."
"You don't get it do you Pai?" Kisshu asked with a smirk.
Pai glanced over at Taruto and Kisshu. "What do I not get?" Pai asked crossing his arms gritting his teeth. He did not like being asked if he didn't understand something. He prided himself in knowledge.
"A locker room is where they get changed into other clothes." Kisshu said grinning ear to ear. Kisshu began to think of what Ichigo would be wearing underneath her clothes. He started to get a slight nosebleed from thinking those kinds of thoughts.
"Kisshu!" Pai yelled pressing the orb fast causing the screen to go down. "What do you think you are doing?! I do not want you to subject Taruto to your perverse ways!"
"But Pai…" Taruto began. Taruto was also interested in seeing the girls get changed, he was curious.
"No! You are much too young to be concerned about things like girls. Our mission is to reclaim Earth back from the humans, not to appeal to your hormones. It is imperative that we complete our mission." Pai stated. "Now Kisshu I want you to relocate this chimera animal to the basement." he said stepping aside for Kisshu to fiddle with his computer orb.
Kisshu sighed. "Why must you be such a fuddy-duddy?" he asked pouting, bringing up the screen and navigating the chimera to the basement.
"I'm not a 'fuddy-duddy'. I'm just not a deviant like you." Pai stated turning his attention back to his clipboard and flipping through some pages.
"So…then you don't want to see them getting changed?" Kisshu asked raising an eyebrow.
"That is correct. I don't want to see them get changed." Pai stated.
"So…do you prefer guys then?" Taruto asked smirking.
"No I do not. I would prefer if we actually accomplish our mission." Pai stated looking up.
"Then why don't you want to see them get changed?" Taruto asked.
"I am sure our people would prefer that we help them instead of us having a discussion on why I do not want to see young girls get changed." Pai stated coldly.
"What about the green Mew or purple Mew?" Kisshu asked.
"I told you I have no interest in seeing them change." Pai said. "As I have said they are merely girls. Perhaps we can just drop this topic and focus on some new information I have gathered." he said holding up the clipboard.
Kisshu sighed as the chimera animal reached the basement and landed above the door frame. "Fine. Tell us what you gathered." Kisshu said crossing his arms now.
"I have gathered some data on each individual Mew including names, relatives, addresses, the locations of their schools, and their schedules throughout the day." Pai said taking some papers off the clipboard and handing them over to his brothers. "I've deduced that if we use their schedules against them we will be more victorious if we initiate an attack on a school day when all the Mew Mews will be in class."
"So when can we attack?" Taruto asked floating crossed legged.
"We will have a ten minute time frame in which we can attack on a Wednesday around two post meridiem." Pai said. Kisshu and Taruto blinked with confused looks on their faces. "Post meridiem is P.M." Pai said pinching the bridge of his nose frustrated that he had to explain simple facts to them.
"Well why only ten minutes?" Taruto asked.
"Due to the older Mew Mew named Zakuro not attending school like a normal girl her age, since she is a model, singer, and actress, we only have a short time to initiate our attack and cause any damage. She has a modeling shoot at two which is the same time when the others will be switching to their other classes. Ten minutes before two we must then attack. I'm giving us ten minutes to successfully attack and then depart before being noticed by anyone." Pai explained.
"Well what are we going to attack?" Kisshu asked.
"It must be something detrimental to either their environment or their economy." Pai said placing his index finger by his mouth with his thumb under his chin. "Perhaps contaminating their water supply would be effective."
"We better get prepared then." Kisshu said grinning.
"Kisshu why the hell is your nose bleeding?" Pai asked raising an eyebrow, now just noticing the drop of blood on Kisshu's upper lip.
Kisshu wiped his nose with his hand. "Oh that just happens when guys get excited." he grinned.
Pai rolled his eyes. "What does that have to do with you becoming 'that way'?"
"You know. It's like a euphemism." Kisshu said laughing. Pai rolled his eyes again. "Baka!" he thought to himself.
Wednesday 2 p.m.
Ichigo and the others were heading to their classes while Zakuro was at her modeling shoot as Pai, Kisshu, and Taruto teleported to the water purification facility, hovering above it. "Are both of you prepared to take control of the planet?" Pai asked with a slight smug grin on his face. Both of them nodded. "Today is the day that we reclaim Earth from the putrid swine that is humanity." he said with such disgust in his voice.
Meanwhile
Ichigo felt Masha start to shake in her school bag. "Ichigo! Ichigo!" Masha chirped softly in it.
Ichigo looked in her bag and brought it up closely to her face to hear Masha. "What is it Masha?"
"Alien alert! Alien alert!" he chirped. "Ryou sent a message that aliens are attacking water facility. Must hurry!"
"Damn it! I need to get to class, but I can't just let them get away with this!" Ichigo thought as she ran down the hall and snuck out the school.
Ichigo and the others arrived at the water purification facility five minutes later. Zakuro had excused herself from the modeling shoot by telling them she felt unwell. "What's going on Ryou?" Zakuro asked turning to Ryou who was already there with Keiichiro.
"We were driving by here and saw them hovering above the water plant." Keiichiro explained.
"You all must transform right away. They already created some type of parasite chimera animal." Ryou said.
"Right." the girls said in unison.
"Mew Mew Ichigo-"
"Mew Mew Lettuce-"
"Mew Mew Mint-"
"Mew Mew Pudding-"
"Mew Mew Zakuro-"
"METAMORPHO-SIS!" they all yelled transforming.
"What do you think you are doing?!" Ichigo yelled at the Cyniclons causing them to turn around.
"Well what do we have here?" Kisshu asked playfully. "Did my Koneko-chan come for some 'fresh' water?"
"Run along you five." Pai said. "It is too late. Our chimera animal is poisoning your water supply and in one minute the entire city's water will be so poisonous that even touching it will cause death." he said motioning to the chimera animal which resembled a large black eel with purple ooze leaking out of its mouth and skin.
"We will not let you do that, na no do!" Pudding yelled. Pudding aimed he weapon at the chimera animal. "Ribbon…Pudding Ring Inferno!" she yelled attacking the eel.
The eel let out a loud screech and spit out poison at Pudding. Zakuro leaped into action and grabbed Pudding, pulling her away from the poison.
"That was too close." Zakuro said.
"Thank you Zakuro Onee-chan." Pudding said as she watched the poison seep into the ground and began to eat at it.
"Ribbon…Strawberry Check!" Ichigo yelled aiming her bell at the eel, as Mint aimed her arrow simultaneously. The attack hit the eel in the head, causing its head to split open slightly.
Zakuro aimed her whip at the water, as did Lettuce with her castanets. "Ribbon…Zakuro Pure!" Zakuro yelled.
"Ribbon…Lettuce Rush!" Lettuce called out sending out a burst of clean water. The combination of Zakuro's attack and Lettuce's began to change the murky purple water pure again.
"This is not over yet." Pai said glaring at them. "Anguilliformes! Release the final toxin!" Pai yelled at the chimera animal. The eel began to use its own tail, which had a metal blade on the end, to slice open the rest of its head spilling its blood into the water. The chimera animal then began to liquefy and disappeared into the water. The water began to quickly turn into black and began to bubble. "At last the final stage is complete."
"Ryou what should we do?" Lettuce asked.
"Take this." Ryou said throwing Lettuce a vial of Mew Aqua. "You need to combine this with your castanets."
Lettuce looked with wide eyes. She was unsure if she would be able to do anything to make the water pure again. "But…" she began nervously.
"You're the only one who can do it." Ryou said looking at her. "I believe in you. We believe in you."
Lettuce nodded and held the Mew Aqua in her hands and pressed it between her castanets. "Ribbon… Lettuce Pure Rush!" she yelled aiming the attack at the water. A surge of glowing white water came from her castanets. When the attack hit the water the poisonous water flew high into the air like a volcano's eruption, soaking the Cyniclons. The water at the facility then turned crystal clear and began to sparkle.
Lettuce collapsed onto her knees when her attack was over, exhausted from the power she had used. "You did it Lettuce!" Ichigo yelled running over to Lettuce, helping her stand up and hugging her.
"I…I did it?" Lettuce asked astonished.
"You did it! You did it!" Pudding yelled jumping on her.
"Impossible!" Pai said astonished. "My calculations should have been correct."
"Let's go." Kisshu said. "I need to get into some dry clothes." he said squeezing out his shirt.
Taruto and Kisshu teleported away as Pai floated above the Mews who were celebrating. He stared at Lettuce for a moment. "Perhaps she is stronger than I once thought." he thought before teleporting away.
Cyniclon's ship
The Cyniclons returned to their ship, clothes dripping wet. "Well that didn't go as well as I thought it would." Kisshu said smugly at Pai. "What happened to your 'calculations' Pai?"
"I am not sure." Pai said ringing out his braid. "All my calculations were correct. I have studied all their movements for two weeks just to find the perfect time to strike. They should not have been there."
"Well they were!" Taruto snapped squeezing his pigtails out and his shirt.
They then heard Deep Blue's voice from his dimension. "What do you have to report to me?" Deep Blue asked. Voice that of a child due to him not having enough power to have a true form, his form just a ball of blue light. The boys took a knee and hung their heads down.
"I do apologize Deep Blue-sama, but our strike on the enemy has failed this time." Pai began.
"This is unacceptable." Deep Blue said.
"We do apologize. Please forgive us. The enemy is more powerful than we have once thought." Pai stated.
"This was the last time you three have failed me. I will be sending someone to aid you in your mission." Deep Blue stated. Kisshu, Pai, and Taruto looked up.
"But Deep Blue-sama…" Pai began.
"Silence." he said. Pai winced slight as he looked back down at the ground with clenched teeth. He did not want someone else to take control of the mission. He even disliked the thought that he had to have his brothers with him, let alone another warrior. "They will be there momentarily. They will be in command now." he said before disappearing. They stood back up staring forward where Deep Blue had been.
"Well…that went well." Kisshu said sarcastically as he put his hands behind his head.
"This is no time to be facetious." Pai said crossing his arms.
"I wonder who he is going to send." Taruto said.
They heard someone teleport behind them. "Guess who?" they said in a sing-song way.
"No." Pai said nervously as he turned around to see a woman standing there. "Not her! Anyone but her!"
Her name, Kukki Ikisatashi. She was their older sister, twenty-four years old, and the same height as Pai. Long dark purple hair with two strains of hair in the front tied by bands, brown eyes, and a black shirt that shows off her stomach with black pants that has a purple skirt over it, and purple wristbands that cover her forearms.
Her weapon was a metal tessen. A black fan with red traditional Cyniclon symbols on it.
"Kukki!" Taruto yelled running up to her and hugging her. "How are you Onee-chan?" he asked happily.
"I'm great now. Deep Blue-sama said that you three needed help so I volunteered to help you." Kukki said tussling Taruto's hair.
"Deep Blue-sama, can we please discuss this?!" Pai yelled, trying to get his leader to come back, a hint of desperation in his voice.
"Aww…what's the matter Pai-kun, not happy to see me?" Kukki said in a childlike manner as she messed up Pai's hair.
"Why are you here? Why did he send you?" Pai asked as he fixed his hair.
"He said that you guys were having a difficult time with the enemies. He said he needed someone with brains and strength." she said crossing her arms. "So now I'm in charge." she said proudly as she put her fists on her hips.
"But all my research, my plans…" Pai began.
"Were and are useless." Kukki said stretching out her hand to look at her nails.
Pai clenched his teeth. His fists began to shake with anger. "Out of all the warriors he could have sent, he had to send HER?!" Pai thought.
He didn't particularly like his sister, but he also didn't hate her. He especially didn't like when she treated him like a child. Pai glared at her as she chatted with Kisshu and Taruto, who were happy to see her.
Kukki turned around to look at Pai. "Now don't give that look. You should be glad that he sent me and not Mashumaro." she said.
That was a good point he thought. All of them hated Mashumaro. He was fourteen and in the same fighting class as Kisshu. Kisshu and Mashumaro were always competing against each other, trying to prove who was stronger, faster, and smarter. Kisshu always won, and always rubbed it in his face. All that could come to mind was the word, childish, when he thought about how those two acted. He could barely deal with Kisshu and his constant pratteling, to deal with him and Mashumaro would be tourture.
"Now Deep Blue-sama didn't inform me on who this group of humans you were having trouble with, so I need you to help me catch up to speed." she said looking nonchalantly at her nails again.
Pai sighed deeply in the back of his mind. He picked up several papers with photos of each induvial Mew on each page, each page housing multiple amounts of information about each Mew.
Kukki took the papers and eyed them over carefully. "They are known as Tokyo Mew Mew. Each Mew Mew has been infused with Red Data Animal D.N.A., giving each one specific powers and advantages." Pai explained he rested his hand on his hip.
Kukki looked up from the papers with a raised eyebrow. "They…are girls?" she asked with a quizzical expression on her face that made Pai groan.
"Yes Kukki. They are girls." Pai said snidely.
"Well it's no wonder you weren't able to defeat them." she said slightly chuckling as she covered her mouth with her fist.
"What do you mean by that?" Pai asked in a snarl.
"Well, girls aren't really a forte of yours." said Kukki. "You become very…uneasy…when around girls for too long." she said stressing the word uneasy.
Pai grimaced at her words. "I am not uneasy around girls!" he yelled.
Kukki started laugh. "Please. Back in training camp you use to cover your face behind books when you passed girls in the hall."
Kisshu and Taruto started to snicker. Pai's eyes widened as he began to remember what happened back then. "You know perfectly well why I avoided the girls in training camp." he said through clenched teeth.
Flashback
Back in training camp Kukki and Pai had got into an altercation. Kukki had messed with one of his experiments because he refused to take her advice on how to properly mix his concoctions. After he left his lab she made a new mixture correctly and left it by his mixture.
She left a note saying "This is how yours should look, but you refused to listen to me." When he came back he saw that his mixture was a failure while Kukki's was what he was he was hoping he could achieve. He overcame with fury and rushed to the female's side of the training camp. He was tired of Kukki always acting like she knew better than he did. He hated her arrogance.
He ran up to her and started screaming at her as the other girls crowded around to see what was going on. "What the hell is wrong with you?! You think you can just mess with my work! Just who the hell do you think you are?!" he yelled at her.
"Calm down Pai. It's not a big deal." Kukki said calmly with her arms crossed.
"Fuck you Kukki!" he yelled as he took a swing at her.
Kukki quickly reacted and teleported behind him. She grabbed the back of Pai's shirt by the collar and the waistband of his pants. She picked him up, turned around, and threw him. He must have flown at least ten feet away.
Pai lay on his back on the ground, arms and legs spread, eyes closed, in the futile attempt to hope the pain would go away. All the girls surround him as he lay there. He heard some giggling, thinking they were snickering by the fact that he just got bested by his sister. His eyes snapped open when he heard some breakout into hysterical fits of laughter, while others went "Ooooh!" in an excited, sensual, manner. One of them was making an expression on longing eyes as they slightly bit their lip in an excited manner.
He realized why they were either laughing, giggling, or 'Oohing'. He was fully 'exposed'.
End Flashback
Pai stood there teeth still clenched, fists shaking in anger.
"Why, what happened?" Taruto asked.
"That is none of your concern!" Pai yelled. "And do not tell them! I do not need them to start ridiculing me!" he said looking at Kukki motioning over to Kisshu and Taruto, who just stood there surprised to see Pai all worked up like this.
"Pai it happened three years ago. You were only fourteen." Kukki said shrugging her hands. "Don't you think enough time has passed?"
"NO! Enough time will never pass! I shall never forgive you!" Pai screamed as he stormed off.
Tokyo
Pai stood on top of a tall building leaning against the pole on the top of the building. The breeze felt nice against his skin, especially since he had gotten so angry about Deep Blue sending Kukki. "Why did he have to send her? Out of all warriors he could have sent, he sent the one that torments me the most." Pai sighed out. "Well I suppose I am just going to have to disregard all this. What is done is done. As long as we can get results then I suppose it will all be worth it."
Pai sat down with his elbows on his knees and looked down at the street below. He looked back up and ahead as he watched the sun start to go down.
Pai sighed. He thought for a moment how maybe Kukki was right about how he was 'uneasy' around girls, but it mostly started after 'the incident', as he called it.
He still remembered he would pass the girls in the hallway after that day and cover his face so they wouldn't see his blushing face. He was often the joke by the rest of his school mates, for multiple reasons.
He was a late bloomer when it came to acquiring his powers. Teleporting and flying took some time for him to get used to. Although when it came to academics he was superior to everyone in the military, except for his sister. But the teasing just caused him to push himself further into his books and caused him to be secluded from others.
When it came to girls he was shy before 'the incident'. "Perhaps I am uneasy." he said out loud to himself.
Pai let out a long exasperated sigh. He then teleported to a local park that was deserted during this time of twilight. He walked over to one of the swings and sat down on it, starting at the ground beneath his feet. He gently shifted his feet causing him to rock gently on the swing.
"If it was not for all those Mew Mews then I would not be in the situation I am in now." he thought to himself. "Especially the Mew Mew named Lettuce. I have underestimated her powers. To think that someone like her would be so powerful."
Pai was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't even hear the person walking slowly up towards him. "Uh…Pai-san? Is that you?"
Pai looked up to see Lettuce standing there carrying a book with her. He jumped up from being startled and quickly summoned his weapon. Lettuce saw that she startled him. "Gomen-nasai!" she yelled bowing as she apologized. "I didn't mean to frighten you. I just wasn't sure if it was you."
Pai lowered his weapon. "You did not frighten me." he said coldly.
Lettuce gave a nervous smile. "What are you doing here Pai-san?" she asked nervously. She immediately regretted it, thinking that perhaps he was there to attack someone, even though there was nobody there at the moment, or to find a new place to attack next time they fought.
"I am just, doing research." Pai said lying. He didn't want to mention to a human, especially the enemy, that he was thinking about the past, slowing causing him to become melancholy.
"That's what I figured." she said sounding disheartened as she looked down. Lettuce sat down on the swing next to where Pai was sitting before. She ran her fingers over the embossed letters of her book.
Pai peeked over to see what book she was reading. It was a book by Pablo Neruda, a poetry book about love from the look of it. Lettuce saw Pai looking at the book. "Do you like poetry Pai-san?"
"I have read a few books." he said. "Although the poetry books I have read are more logical. I would not read something so foolish." Pai said bluntly crossing his arms.
"I see." Lettuce said looking back down at the book, feeling disheartened that Pai found poetry books about love 'foolish'.
The way she looked down sadly at the book reminded him of when he was a child. Pai would read books about things that others didn't find enjoyable, mostly science and physics. This caused them to make fun of him for reading such things.
"Although…if it is something that you enjoy reading then that is all that matters." Pai said blushing slightly. That was something his parents would always tell him to make him feel better, perhaps it would do the same for her he thought. "Wait…why am I trying to make her feel better?" he thought quickly to himself.
Lettuce looked up to see Pai's slightly pink face and smiled. It made her happy to know that someone understood how reading could be so enjoyable.
Pai turned around quickly to hide his blushing face. "Do you enjoy any other reading material?" Pai asked.
"I love all kinds of books. I find books calm me down if I'm upset and make me happy again." Lettuce said.
Pai's mouth slightly turned up into a slight smile. He was glad that nobody could see him smiling slightly. He too felt the same way about books. There were times he felt books were his only friends, which he thought was a foolish thing to have in his mind.
"I enjoy reading as well." Pai stated. Pai sighed. He knew that he would have to end their conversation soon and head back to the ship with his sister and brothers, who he knew would pester him asking him where he was. "I must terminate this conversation as I need to head back to my ship." he said with the slight sound of distaste in his voice.
"Are you okay Pai-san?" Lettuce asked.
"Yes Mew Lettuce. I am fine." he said as he began to walk away. He stopped in his tracks and turned his head slightly. "The next time we meet will not be as pleasurable as this talk was." he said walking away again before teleporting away.
Lettuce sat there on the swing. "D…did he say this talk was pleasurable?" she asked herself out loud.
This is a story I wrote a long time ago but some things happened and I had to delete it. I feel as if now might be a time that I can reupload it again.
