Hey guys, I'm back. After a long absence, I'm back. And I had big changes in my life during this long time. My work stopped following my boss's illness and today she passed away. RIP. To top it off, I had computer problems and the flu. While waiting to find work, I was able to motivate myself to write again.

Let's start with the time heist which will turn out to be different from that of Endgame.

I am happy to have been able to write this new chapter to this story that I intend to see through to the end.

Chapter 11: How to Travel in Time

The Quinjet ended up joining the Avengers compound without incident.

The other Avengers came to welcome the arrivals.

Alex and Yelena got out of the flying machine, both with sullen looks.

"Guys, it took you a while to find Wanda." Sam Wilson pointed out to them.

"Finding her was a little longer than expected," Yelena replied with a surly tone.

"We're not gonna talk about this for hours." added Alex, as furious as she was. "Just ask her if you want to know what happened."

Then came Wanda, J'onn and Spider-Man. Wanda stood next to J'onn.

"Can we get everyone back?" asked the Queens' young hero.

Hope Van Dyne joined them.

"We were able to design the quantum tunnel. And my dad has enough particles to take us all on a trip."

"Shall we travel back in time?" Spider-Man exclaimed happy and excited. "Guys, this is so awesome!"

"Peter, it won't be as simple as a picnic." J'onn retorted. "Time Travel is one thing. Next, we need to find the Stones and bring them back here."

"So we will organize our trip," replied Sam.

Later, Rene joined Dinah, looking confused.

"I just spent an hour listening to Curtis and this guy Pym rant about quantum physics. I think I'm going to go crazy listening to this crap."

"Dude, tell yourself it's for a good thing," Dinah replied with an encouraging look. "That's our only way to bring back Oliver, Diggle and save everyone."

"We've to undo what Thanos did, sure." agreed Rene.

While Janet and Hope designed the suits that would allow them to travel through the Quantum Realm.

"Wow… as an explorer suit… not bad!" Bucky commented, admiring.

"The suit will imbue itself with Pym particles, which allows us to shrink to the right size to reach the Quantum Realm," Hope explained.

"I miss Tiny Lang, right now," exclaimed Sam having a thought for Ant-Man.

Hope had a moment of absence and dismay at the mention of Scott. She was lost in thought, then finally recovered.

"We're going to bring Scott and everyone back."

"Let's hope so," replied Felicity who had just joined them with Iris.

"Flash isn't very comfortable with the idea of Time Travel," Bucky pointed out.

Iris then came to clarify:

"Once, Flash went back in time to prevent his mother's death. It created an alternative reality called Flashpoint, and it had serious consequences for him. Changing the timeline has very serious consequences."

Janet joined the two women.

"Except we're not going to change the timeline. We use the past without changing anything to improve our future."

"But we have to be careful," Bucky added. "We talk about finding Stones in times where we weren't."

"Strange and J'onn are planning this together," Felicity replied.

"We have to know where we're going," Sam replied.

There, Team Flash, Arrow, Alex, J'onn, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy were gathered around a table to contemplate the holograms designating the Infinity Stones.

Stephen Strange erupted mystical disks which caused the Infinity Stones to scroll.

"Six Infinity Stones. Space. Reality. Power. Soul. Mind. And Time. This is what we need to be able to fix all this."

"So we know how to make time travel work," Quill replied enthusiastically.

"What we need to know now is where to find the Stones," T'Challa added.

"And 'when' to find them," replied Barry. "We know that they have been have been in a lot of different places throughout your Universe."

"We need to know when exactly we need to find them," J'onn replied with a frown.

"Guys, we live outside your Earth," Alex pointed out. "Only you guys can tell us where to find them!"

Yelena added nonchalantly:

"Well, I live on this Earth and I don't even know what we're talking about."

"I can already tell you where to find three Infinity Stones," declared Strange in a neutral tone, bringing out mystical circles which revealed images of the city of New York.

All our heroes could see the Battle of New York. The Avengers' first battle against the Chitauris.

Strange continued, scrolling through images of the Battle:

"On our Earth, in 2012, the Avengers fought Loki, Thor's brother, who had opened a portal to another dimension and brought in creatures from another world. Chitauris. Loki then used the power of the Tesseract. An Infinity Stone. The Space Stone. And Loki had a Scepter that contained the Mind Stone. We can intercept them."

"And the third Stone?" Barry asked.

"The Time Stone which is also in New York," continued the sorcerer. "In the hands of the Sorcerer Supreme who... (His face darkens at the mention of the Ancient One.) ...who was also the leader of the Masters of the Mystic Arts."

J'onn nodded with satisfaction.

"So, we already know where to find three Stones. We're still missing the other half."

Peter Quill intervened at this point.

"I was the one who found the Power Stone in Morag."

"What is it, Morag?" Barry asked.

"A planet," Quill continued. "And before turning to dust, Nebula told us that Thanos had taken the Soul Stone from Vormir. A planet where no one has been. They say it's dead. This is where Thanos killed Gamorra."

"Thanos said he had to." added Mantis.

"Just great," Yelena said indifferently. "And the last stone?"

"The Reality," replied Strange. "According to my knowledge, it is also called Aether. Several thousand years ago, it was Malekith, king of the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim, who discovered the Reality Stone. He would have liquefied it, increasing its properties so that he could convert matter into dark matter and absorb the life force of host bodies. A few years ago, an astrophysicist named Jane Foster came into contact with the Aether and infected her. Thor took her to Asgard to heal her."

"So we will also have to go to other planets to find the Stones?" Spider-Man pointed out.

"Yeah, I'll pass, guys," Yelena intervened. "I stay on Earth."

The Martian summarized:

"So, three Stones on Earth. Another one on Morag. The other on Vormir and the last on Asgard."

"I'm going to Asgard," replied Spider-Man ecstatically. "Who wants to come with me ?"

"I'll come." declared Nora Allen alias XS. "So shway!"

"We have to be quick and discreet," Barry replied in an alarming tone. "If there are too many of us, we risk destroying the timeline."

"I've already been to Morag," Quill intervened. "I would know where to find the Power Stone. Drax and Mantis can follow me. And then we'll move on to Vormir."

"Take Wanda Maximoff with you," Alex said dryly.

Seeing J'onn's questioning look, she clarified categorically:

"I don't want her with us."

"I could accompany the Guardians of the Galaxy," declared T'Challa.

"And I'm coming with you, brother," added Shuri.

"Spider-Man and Nora will go to Asgard to recover the Aether," declared J'onn. "And who will go to New York?"

"I will," Alex replied. "Bucky, Sam and the Wasp can come."

"I'm also coming to New York," replied Yelena. "I know how to blend in."

"And me too, added Barry. "You'll need an speedster if there's going to be a battle."

"I will be part of it too," replied J'onn.

Then Strange declared.

"I will accompany you to New York. I will go to the Sanctum Sanctorum and talk to the Ancient One so that she can give me the Time Stone."

"And while the rest of us go get the Tesseract and Loki's Scepter," J'onn replied.

"Awesome, we have a plan!" Spider-Man replied, jumping for joy.

"Three teams. Six Infinity Stones," Strange summed up. "I think we can make it."

"We will," Barry agreed. "There will be no incidents."

As they planned their plan to travel to the past, they failed to notice the sinister yellow figure watching them. Eobard Thawne aka Reverse Flash. The latter observed them with a terrible grin on his lips.

"No incidents, right?" he muttered with a sarcastic tone. "You'll see, Flash! Oh, this is going to be so much fun!"

And he disappeared at super speed.

New York ; 2012

In record time, Thawne had traveled back in time with his super-speed and reached New York in 2012. He rushed towards Stark Tower. He ran up the building with his phenomenal speed and reached the Penthouse, where Loki was holding his Scepter in his hand.

Thawne stopped his course a few meters away, while Thor's brother brandished his scepter at his new arrival, staring at him with hostility.

"Who are you?" he roared.

Thawne raised his arms in a peace sign and knelt right in front of the being from another universe.

"Loki. God of Mischief. It is such a great honor to meet you. You can't imagine how much pleasure this meeting fills me with."

Loki held his scepter close to Thawne's face, still shouting with hostility:

"I'm gonna ask you again, before I ask much less nicely. Who are you?"

Thawne bowed with a theatrical gesture before replying:

"Forgive my rudeness. may I introduce myself? My name is Eobard Thawne. I come from the future. In a future far, far away."

"The future, really?" Loki wondered sceptically. "You're not some idiot Stark fanatic trying to impress Iron-Man!"

Thawne chuckled in amusement while maintaining his Machiavellian look.

"No! No! I've nothing to do with Stark or Iron-Man! Tony Stark is just an idiot with too big an ego! Besides, it didn't work out for him!"

"What do you want, Thawne?" replied Thor's brother with contempt. "I don't have time to have fun with ridiculous words!"

"I came here to be your ally." explained Thawne. "I know your plan. I know you plan to bring the Chitauri here. And the Avengers are going to come and stop you."

"Let them come! I'm waiting for them!"

Thawne resumed his sarcastic look by adding:

"The Avengers won't be your only problem. Other heroes similar to them will arrive from the future. They are coming to take the Tesseract and your Scepter from you. One of these heroes is my nemesis. I want to kill him. If you accept my help, your reign will have a future and I will take this opportunity to kill my enemy forever."

"Why do they want the Tesseract and my Scepter from me?" Loki asked, intrigued.

"In a last-ditch effort, these idiots seek to stave off your ascent to God King." explained Thawne.

"You mean I successfully ascended into the future?" Loki wondered, surprised and delighted.

"That's why they come here to steal the Tesseract and your Scepter," Thawne replied with a grin. "Without your weapons, you will be weak. That's why I'm here. To help you stop their flawed plan. What do you think? Would you accept this partnership between us?"

Loki stared at Thawne with a frown.

"Tell me about these heroes of the future and I will decide on this partnership."

The Sanctuary ; Space

Thawne appeared like lightning in front of Ebony Maw, member of the Black Order and adopted son of Thanos.

The alien creature stared at the arrival in amazement.

Thawne kept his evil grin.

"I need to talk to Thanos."

But Maw eyed him suspiciously.

"Who are you, you miserable meaningless creature?"

"An ally. I have come from the distant future to speak with your Father. Thanos. I have to talk with him."

Maw gave him an evil smile, waving his hands. Suddenly, Thawne found himself suspended in the air telekinetically.

"What makes you think I'll take you to him?" Maw asked as he levitated the speedster into the air.

Despite the fact that he was floating in the air, Thawne remained derisive in front of the Mad Titan's lackey.

"I have information on the Infinity Stones. Information that might interest him. If you want to kill me, go ahead! But by doing so, you will deprive Thanos of a great opportunity to reach the Stones. Is this really what you want?"

Later, Ebony Maw released Thawne and led him to Thanos.

The Mad Titan stood in his domain, an asteroid field called Sanctuary. Thanos sat on a large throne, while his servant brought him the speedster.

Once he arrived in front of the great throne, Thawne bowed to the ground.

"Almighty Thanos. It's an honor to meet you in person."

Thanos eyed the speedster with suspicion.

"Who are you?"

"I am Eobard Thawne. I am from Earth. And I'm a time traveler. I'm a speedster. I run like lightning and I am able to travel in time."

"Interesting," said Thanos intrigued. "Maw told me you had information on the Infinity Stones. Talk to me. I'm listening."

Thawne stood up and spoke gleefully.

"I already know where you can find two Infinity Stones. Power is on Morag. And the Soul is on Vormir. If you want to get them, you need to act quickly. I'm not the only one who travels time. I have enemies who intend to find all six Stones so they can use them for personal gain. They claim to be heroes, but they are just lawless rebels who only think about destroying the universe for their interests."

"The Avengers?" replied Thanos, still intrigued.

"Worse than them. They are determined to destroy everything you set out to do. That's why I have come to you to prevent them and to ensure that your quest leads to the result you want to achieve. I help you destroy them and the Stones are yours. And just yours."

Thanos tilted his head, pleased.

"Eobard Thawne, you have my full attention. Tell me exactly where the Stones are and tell me about these heroes who seek them. I want to know everything."

Our heroes are preparing to travel back in time. And they will face obstacles, such as Eobard Thawne that he has the appearance of Wells. His motivations will become clearer later.
