Gem was being held in the tower where the dead apple tree was Regina walked in to check on her prisoner and Gem refused to look at Regina and sneered "come now why the long face" Regina said mockingly making Gem snarl
"This is getting a little boring eat the apple and I'll let you go" Regina said as Gem scoffed "you think I don't know a lie when I see one" Gem said with a growl "oh a smart girl are you" Regina said
Regina rubbed her chin and smirked "well you better wise up or else something will happen to your friend and twin sister" Regina said as both Merlin and Crystal are dragged in by a tree branch with their mouths covered
Gem's eyes widened "let them go" Gem said "eat the apple or watch them die...such a shame your twin looks better behaved than you do I bet she would sacrifice herself in a heartbeat" Regina said
Gem's eyes shrink hearing this and she clenched her fists Crystal realized what she's about to do and screams in muffled panic Gem looked at Merlin with a sad look and then grabbed the apple from Regina biting into it Merlin and Crystal are both pulled out of the tower into the throne room
"Aha" Regina laughs but then noticed Gem was laughing her shoulders shaking as she did "why are you?" Regina then felt a strange feeling on her legs and looked down to see her legs turning into tree roots
"W.what have you done" Regina said as Gem spat out the apple "my signature spell "reflection" allows me to use my own sort of defense by bouncing the attack back at my opponent or in this case using my own body to curse the opposing person" Gem said
A smirk on her face Regina started turning into a tree two more drops of ink fell from Gem and she Over-blot...
"The legendary handsome Merlin fearless rescuer of princesses sitting in a tree not getting K-I-S-I-N-G'd burn I can't spell" the magic mirror said "Your about to be in a world of trouble when Gem Over-blot's" Crystal said
"Over-blot" Merlin said "it's dangerous for mages to stress out over things that could cause them to lose control and overuse of power...I'm guessing this was the final straw to make Gem Over-blot" Crystal said
"Why is it dangerous" Merlin said "because if she stays like that...she'll die" Crystal said making Merlin's heart sink in his chest "let us go" Merlin said
"Why should I do that" the magic mirror said as the mirror is then smashed by a dagger making the roots drop them both to the ground "that guy is annoying" Everett said as the rest of them came
"Looks like you both could use a little assistance" Jack said "I have a bad feeling Crystal...did Gem" the whole castle started to shake as branches and vines started to attack them
"Why is this happening" Arthur said "I can only guess this means Gem did Over-blot" Ashlin said using her water magic to shoot the branches down
"Merlin we need to get to the tower" Crystal said as she grabbed his hand and Merlin saw the jump Crystal revealed her angel wings and flew in the air with Merlin who was squirming slightly "do not drop me" Merlin said as Crystal scoffed and dropped him onto the other side
"I didn't know you could fly" Merlin said as Crystal shushed him they both looked inside to see Regina as a tree and Gem was in her Over-blot form she had a regal dress on with a crown on her head
"When an Over-blot happens it usually takes form of the depressed state of the host and makes them act crazy" Crystal said as they slowly walked inside Gem heard them and looked over
"oh...well look who it is the perfect twin that I could never possibly surpass" Gem said mockingly "why is she acting like this" Merlin said "you know why she feels self conscious about the way she looks...because Gem is always being compared to me" Crystal said
"bravo did it take you long to figure out that it was your fault all this time" Gem said clapping in a slow sarcastic manner "why are you acting like this Gem...this isn't you" Merlin said trying to coax her
"Shut up...I'm done being compared to my twin sister...I hate that I have to be below her everytime I hear someone compare me to her...it makes me mad" Gem said as the branches tried to hit them
"How do we get Gem to snap out of it" Merlin said as Crystal already headed towards the inkblot phantom destroying it making Gem faint and Merlin went to catch her but fell to darkness as well
