Chapter 7: Tick Tock
Gears inside of a small pocket watch turns as Flash watches the hands move and was amazed. "Ten minutes. He just broke his own record." He told the others. "The guy's inequine." The Destiny's Bounty rest on the ocean as down on the ocean floor, Frost Gear is down there meditating. A fish went by and he opens his eyes before petting the fish. When a swim away, Frost then swim back up to the surface.
"Amazing!" Landrush said an amazement when Frost resurfaced.
"Incredible." Gaia said.
"We're not worthy." Thunder said as he bow down to Frost.
"I broke the record?" Frost asked.
"You destroyed it." Trail told him.
"Okay. Okay." Thunder spoke up. "Is anypony thinking what I'm thinking? We've been training for so long, I don't think we can get any better. Just think about all we've accomplished." They remember the time Trail was running across a trail of hot coals and made it to the end. They remember the time Thunder was balancing himself on the tip of a tall building in a thunderstorm with ease. They remember the time Flash was able to fly through rough and powerful winds without being blown back. They remember the time Gaia was able to swing on vines through a deep jungle without rest. They remember the time Landrush eight weights, both Thunder and Aqua while they hold weights on a barbell and was able to lift them.
"The question should be raised. Perhaps we have reached our full potential?" Frost asked.
"Let's asked sensei if we have, just to make sure." Flash suggested. Below deck in Wu's room, Wu was putting a katana in a scabbard wrapped in a cloth and looked at as he heard his students coming.
"Well, every morning I do 500 push-ups." Frost told the others before they entered the room.
"Five hundred? Ha, trying a thousand." Trail bragged.
"Ha, ha. I do a thousand and one." Thunder said.
"Oh please, I do 2000 push-ups." Gaia told them.
"What is this, amateur hour?" Landrush asked. "Sounds like my warm up."
"Sensei, what does true potential look like if-" Flash asked before they realized he was too focused on something important.
"Our apologies, sensei." Frost said as they bow. "We've interrupted you." Wu looked up from the katana and sigh as he sat it down.
"I'm sorry if I've been distant lately." Wu told his students. "My mind has been elsewhere since Lloyd has gone missing. What can I help you with?"
"Sensei, what if we've done enough training?" Flash asked. "What if we've reached our true potential? What if we're ready?"
"Heh. You might have reached peak physical condition, but you've yet to reach your inner potential." Wu told them. "In each and every one of us, there are obstacles that hold us back. Only when you conquer that fear will your heart be free. Only then will you reach your true potential. Only then will we have a fighting chance to stop the Serpentine from releasing The Great Devourer."
"There's more to The Great Devourer then you've led on, isn't there, sensei?" Frost asked as Wu gave a sigh.
"I too have obstacles within my own heart." Wu told them. "There's a story I've never told you."
We see Wu as a colt and Garmadon as a colt, only without the black coat and red eyes as he has a grey coat with blue eyes and a light brown mane. They and their backs to each other before they started sparring with katanas in the monastery long ago. ("Long ago, when I was a young Colt. Garmadon and I were more than Brothers." Wu told his pupils. "We were the best of friends.")
("Wait a minute. I know you two were brothers, but really?" Thunder interrupted. "The king of Cruelty, the Doer of Destruction, the Captain of Chaos. And you two were friends?"
"Please, no interruptions." Wu asked before he continued.)
He then see a stallion with a rice hat and two dragons on his flank. One was white with a black eye and the other was black with a white eye. The stallion was the first Spinjitzu master and he was looking over the golden weapons as his sons were sparring. ("You see, he did not always have a wicked heart." Wu told them.) Both Wu and Garmadon continue to spar before Wu lost his grip and his katana was thrown over the wall. ("One day, I lost this very katana." Wu explain.) Both Wu and Garmadon looked at their father who is still inspecting the weapons with concern looks. ("Knowing our father would be mad, my brother told me to go retrieve it. But I refused. He told me to never put off tomorrow what can be done today and went to get it himself.")
The young Garmadon then run up the wall and jumped over it before landing on the other side. He looked around before he saw the katana on the ground near the bushes. As he reached down to pick it up, a snake quickly bit his hoof. The young Garmadon pulled his hoof back when he felt the bite for he saw the snake that bit him. It was a bright green snake with red glowing eyes and a frail on its head. Garmadon felt woozy as his vision was becoming fuzzy. The snake hissed before it slithered away and Garmadon fell to the ground. We then see the first Spinjitzu master rush over to Garmadon as he was worried about him. ("When my father found him, he was very ill." Wu said. "For he was bitten by a legendary snake that would grow forever as long as it consumes.")
The young Garmadon was then brought back inside and into his room. Young Wu stand by the door as it was open as he looked inside and sees his father mending Garmadon. ("A great evil had found its way into my brother's heart." Wu said. "For the snakes venom could turn the purest of things wicked.")
"Leave it. Leave me alone." Young Garmadon told his father. "I don't need you. I hate you." Young Wu was shocked to see his own brother act like this.
("The snake is the same one the Serpentine want to reawaken today." Wu told them.)
"Aah, it hurts! It's all Wu's fault!" Young Garmadon shouted as he looked towards the door with glowing red eyes and frightened young Wu.
"It is the snake that took my brother away from me." Wu told them.
"So The Great Devourer turned your brother into the Dark Lord?" Flash asked.
"It was all my fault." Wu said as he closed the case with the katana in it and picked it up. "You six have finished your training. You must now focus on stopping Pythor from collecting the four Fangblades. But never lose focus on the obstacles that lie within each of your hearts that holds you back from true greatness. Unlock your true potential."
"But how are we supposed to do that, Sensei?" Frost asked.
"It's up to each of you to discover." Wu answered. "Now I must go on a personal journey of my own with Celestia and Luna." He said as he walked to the door.
"Where are you going?" Thunder asked.
"To a place you cannot follow." Wu answered.
"If you're going for Lloyd, the City of Ouroboros is filled with hundreds of Serpentine." Landrush said. "Even with Celestia and Luna with you, you'll never do it."
"We're going to find someone who can be of aid." Wu told them. "The Serpentine have united and grown stronger and we will need all the help we can get." The Destiny's Bounty soon rests on a mountain top letting Wu off and on his way.
Meanwhile back in the Constrictai tomb, all the Serpentine have gathered well Pythor inspects the drawings on the walls. "It says nothing about where the four Fangblades are hidden." Scales said. "Have our ancestorsss let usss nothing? Where are they?"
"This, here. This must be a clue." Pythor said as they made their way to the stone in the center. "When five fangs unite as one, the path toward the Devourer has begun." He read the inscription.
"Yes, when the five tribes unite." Scales said. "We've done all this. It means nothing. If you don't find out soon, the others will begin to ask questions, and soon they will start to think you don't know what you're doing."
"I know what I'm doing, fool." Pythor told him. "I'm trying to unleash the Great Devourer. Legend spoke of a map showing exactly where the four Fangblades have been buried. There must be something around here. Keep looking."
Meanwhile, the ninjas are in Canterlot putting up flyers about if anyone has seen the Fangblades and if they have, they must report it immediately. Helping them are the main six, the young six, Spike, Cozy Glow, Starlight Glimmer, and Trixie. "Oh, this is silly." Frost complain.
"You have any better ideas?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"I don't even know this will work?" Trixie asked as she put a flyer.
"And why does Wu need both Celestia and Luna for?" Twilight asked.
"Hey, maybe they're going to go get the samurai for help." Thunder said.
"The Samurai? I'm sure she's- I mean he's busy looking for the Fangblades as well." Trail said nervously.
"Uh, y'all okay there?" Applejack asked.
"Yeah, yeah. Why wouldn't it be?" Trail asked as Aqua walked up next to him.
"One hundred percent. We're not hiding anything." Aqua said with a nervous smile.
"Yeah, okay. So what are we going to do with these Fangblades once we find them?" Smolder asked.
"We find a way to destroy them, I guess." Flash answered. "Without the Fangblades, the Serpentine will never unleash the Great Devourer."
"But, how exactly are we going to find them if no one knows where they are?" Gallus asked. Frost was about to put up another flyer on a store window when he sense something, something calling out to him. He looked up to the sky when he did and didn't notice the flyers he's holding work falling down. The owner of the store saw the flyers being dropped when he came out.
"Hey, weirdo." The owner called out, but Frost gave no response. "You're making a mess of my store front. Yoo-hoo! You got a problem? Maybe I should teach you a lesson on manners." Frost dropped the rest of the flyers and walked around the building as Flash quickly walked up to the owner.
"I'm sorry, sir. Sometimes our friend is in another world." Flash told the owner"
"He's littering all over the place." The owner complained.
"We'll pick it up. So sorry." Gaia told the owner before he went back inside and the others picked up the flyers.
"Frost, what's the deal?" Thunder asked before they walked up to and they saw what he's seeing. It was the falcon flying around in a circle. "Ah! It's the falcon! Oh my gosh. Every time we follow it, it leads us to good fortune." They all but Flash started to follow it. Flash looked back at Aqua, Starlight, Trixie, and the others.
"Head back to the Bounty and wait till you hear from us." Flash told Aqua before he gives Spike the serpentine egg. "And watch over this till I get back."
"But where are you going?" Aqua asked.
We're gonna follow the bird." Flash answered. "Who knows, it could lead us to the first Fangblade."
"Well, at least let me and the girls come with you." Twilight asked. "Spike and Cozy, keep things in check until I get back." Then she, Flash, and her friends went to catch up with the others as they followed the falcon. They found the Falcon for miles through, scorching deserts to snowy mountains.
"I guess good fortune is really far away." Trail said as they continue to follow the falcon. They began to climb a mountain before they noticed both Thunder and Rarity were out of breath.
"Keep going. We'll...We'll catch up later." Thunder told them.
"I hate to adventures..." Rarity complained as the others continue on. They soon managed to walk across a fallen tree over a gap, well Flash, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Trail, and Fluttershy were able to fly a cross. Once they made it on the other side, they noticed both Landrush and Pinkie Pie were both taking a breather on the tree.
"We're good. Just...Just taking a breather." Landrush told them. "Uh, we'll meet up with you shortly."
"And h-h-h-heads u-u-u-u-up." Pinkie Pie said as her body was shaking. "My Pinky Senses are tell me a Doozie's on the way, and it's a big one!" The others continue on their way as they follow the falcon to a large snowy area. Flash, Twilight, Trail, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Gaia start for a second to catch their breath as Frost went on.
"Good thing we're in peak physical condition." Gaia said before they continue on. They soon entered a snowy forest as the falcon continued on. They soon stopped to catch their breath once again.
"Gosh darn it, that bird just keeps going." Applejack said as she was out of breath.
"I never seen... any falcon go this far...without rest." Fluttershy panted.
"Are we still in... Equestria?" Trail asked.
"I think we... might be off the border of it. Or anywhere..." Rainbow Dash said as she trying to regain her breath.
"What does it...even want...to show us?" Twilight panted.
"I don't...know but what do you make of this?" Flash asked at the point into a sign that says, "Beware of Treehorns."
"I am not familiar with a Treehorn." Frost said when he saw the sign.
"Me neither." Twilight said.
"It's probably just some wild squirrels heh." Gaia said before they heard the falcon squawking as it fly around in a circle. "Well, don't lose him." She told Frost.
"Yeah, we'll wait for the others to catch up." Flash told Frost before he continued to follow the falcon. Frost followed the falcon deeper and deeper into the snowy forest.
"Where are we going, my mysterious friend." Frost asked the falcon. Frost continue to follow it before it started to spin in midair before falling to the ground. Frost took off his hood and went over to the falcon and saw sparks fly off it. It was then he realized that this was no ordinary falcon. "You're a robot?" He carefully picked up the robotic falcon and looked around. He then walked over to a tree and gently placed it down before hearing footsteps approaching. He looked around as he can hear the footsteps getting closer. He took a defensive position as he stayed alert to what's out there. He then turned and see a large bronze robot with shoulder cannons spotted him.
The robot seem to be scanning the area as Frost quickly put on his hood when the robot scanned him. "Intruder. Intruder. Prepare to be terminated." the robot said as it fired its shoulder cannon at Frost. Frost quickly dodged each blast being fired at him as he had his shurikens out before he summoned his Spinjitzu vehicle. He then drove away from the robot before before turning around and launching off a hill as the robot continued to fire at him in the air. Once his vehicle vanished he threw one of his shurikens into the canon of the robot's before dodging an attack from it while in the air
Frost then saw it's motherboard on its back as he was coming down. Once he landed on the ground, one of the shurikens came back before he turned to face it. He then taunted the robot to come at him before before the robot took his shoulder cannon and aimed right at him. Frost then quickly climbed up a tree and its motherboard on its back again and knew he had to destroy it. "NINJA, GO!" He shouted as he flipped off the tree and did Spinjitzu create a pile of snow in front of the robot. He then put back when it fired at him a few feet away before he tuck and rolled to one side before charging at the robot. He used the pile of snow to jump over the robot and got on to its back.
Frost then took out his shuriken and started to destroy the motherboard on its back. As he damaged it, the robot started to malfunction and did a little silly dance before it saluted and fell to the ground. Frost then saw a strange symbol below the the destroyed motherboard. "The same symbol." He walked over to where he plays the falcon and picked it up see the same symbol on its back. He then noticed a large tree bigger than the others not far from where he is. "Where have you brought me, my falcon friend?" He asked as he walked towards the tree. He then noticed the same symbol on the tree except the symbol was in a oval shaped edged, a door of some kind. He then open the door and discover the tree was made of metal and was a home base of some kind. He didn't walk down the spiral staircase to the bottom as he took off his hood.
At the bottom he found some tools, a small stove, and blueprints that looked like they have not been touched in ages. He walked over to a workbench and found the blueprints for the falcon. "So this is your home, my mysterious friend?" Frost asked as he sat down the falcon on the table. Frost then looked over at the blueprints of the falcon before he followed them to repair it. Once he was done, the falcon startup and flew around the room before landing on Frost's hoof. "You brought me here. But why?" He asked it before it flew around the room as he turned back to the workbench. He then noticed another blueprints underneath the one of the falcon. He pulled it out and what he saw on it shocked him to the core. "No! It can't be! No! NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOO!" He shouted as he fell to his knees.
Meanwhile, Wu was walking down a city street to a tea shop. Once inside, he walked up to the front desk and ring the bell. "I would like to purchase some traveler's tea." Wu asked an old unicorn mare with a grey mane and a blackish grey coat.
"Never heard of it." The mare said before Wu place down some bits on the counter. The mare went into the back and came back with a tea pot and used her magic to pick up a small jar on the top shelf filled with tea leaves. "You know, those who drink this never return." She said as she pour the leaves into the pot.
"Then I will not bother you again." Wu told her as he took the pot and walked out.
The other soon catched up with one another before they came to the tree base that Frost is in. "Frost?" Flash called out as they walked down the steps.
"Wow, would you look at this place?" Thunder asked.
"I know, whoever made it was a genius." Twilight said.
"Frost, what's wrong." Gaia asked when they saw him this head down. They soon rushed over to him to see if he was all right. Pinkie Pie's body was shaking rapidly halfway down the steps before she made it to the last.
"Are you hurt?" Trail asked.
"You okay?" Landrush asked.
"Y'all look like somepony just died." Applejack said. "What did you find down here?" Frost just gave a sigh in response before he looked at the blueprints he saw before on the ground. They all looked at what he was looking and the blueprints looked to be that of a staillon. Frost picked up the blueprints and looked at it for a few seconds before he took off the top of his ninja suit. He then pressed his chest and something happened.
"Hey, what...?" Rainbow Dash asked as they saw his chest split open into four and can see his insides with wires, gears, and switches. They all screamed when they saw that the inside of him all machine and came to the one conclusion.
"You're a robot?!" Twilight asked in complete shocked and surprise. Pinkie Pie the noticed her shaking had stopped.
"Now that's the biggest doozy we've ever had!" Pinkie shouted.
"All this time, and I never knew." Frost said.
"Uh, guess this explains why you're always acting so weird and the "Gear" part of your name. Right? Heh heh." Thunder said only to make it more awkward.
"The reason I never had a sense of humor was because my "funny switch" wasn't on." Frost told them before he flipped a switch in his chest before it closed. Goofy music started to play as Frost was acting more funny and silly. "Hello, my baby~ Hello, my honey~ Hello, my ragtime gal~ Send me a kiss by wire~." When he finished, both Thunder and Pinkie Pie were laughing so hard. Frost then open his chest again and turned off his funny switch before he fell to his knees.
"Uh, it just makes you more special darling." Rarity told him.
"Yeah, you're still the same Frost Gear. Just more, uh, gears." Landrush said.
"No matter what you're made of, you're still our brother." Flash told him.
"And you're still our friend." Fluttershy said.
"Really?" Frost asked when he lift his head up.
"In fact, I bet it even makes you a better ninja." Gaia told him.
"And a more awesome pony." Rainbow Dash said.
"Yeah, and how cool is that I can honestly say: "My brother is a Nindroid."" Thunder said.
"A Nindroid?" Frost asked.
"Now come on. Pythor is still out there looking for the first Fangblade, and we need you." Trail told him.
"You'll have to go on without me." Frost told them. "I just don't feel right." The others then left him alone and walked out of the tree.
"The poor fella just need some time to think." Applejack said.
"She's right, I don't know how I would feel if I was told I was a robot." Trail said
"You mean a Nindroid." Thundercorrected.
"Yeah, whatever." Trail said
"How the hay do we get out of this place?" Rainbow Dash asked before they heard something growling.
"What was that?" Fluttershy asked with concern.
"Cute, tiny birds?" Thunder guess as he and the ninjas put up their hoods. Then they then saw four trees started to move.
"Did you see that?!" Landrush shouted when he saw the trees move.
"I don't see anything." Thunder quickly said.
"I just saw it too." Trail said.
"There's another one, over there!" Gaia pointed out.
"And another!" Twilight told them.
"What in the name of Equestria are they?!" Rarity asked.
"Treehorns!" Flash shouted as they were surrounded by large creatures with red eyes long necks, legs and tails. The main six took defensive positions as the ninjas took out their weapons and ready to defend themselves. Flash then took notice of the malfunctioning robot Frost took out. "Oh great, I think that thing was supposed to protect this place. Guys, it's up to us." Thunder charged at one of the Treehorns and swung his nunchucks at its legs to knock it over. His swung is nunchucks again to knock another one over before or another use its legs to hold him.
Trails in charge at one of them with sword in hoof. "NINJA, G- Unh!" He was knocked back by one of them before you do Spinjitzu before another pushed him back with its leg. Rainbow Dash took to the skies and rammed into each one before one another to the ground with its leg. Twilight blasted a few of them with her magic before one of them knocked her from behind and into a tree. Applejack was quickly bucking them down one by one before one of them pinned her down to the ground. Rarity and Fluttershy were doing their best to dodge the Treehorns, but they managed to knock them back. Gaia was able to jump on one of them before knocking down the other after jumping off it, after jumping on another it swiped her down before she could do anything.
Pinkie Pie blasted a few of them with her party bazooka before a Treehorn knocked it out of her hooves, then kicked into a tree. Flash used his bo to knock them down or blocked their attacks, but they managed to pin him down. Landrush grabbed one by the leg and spun it around to knock a few others down. But before he could pull out his scythe, on trip him up and the others pinned them down with their legs. "There's just too many of them!" He shouted as they were getting overwhelmed by the Treehorns.
Meanwhile back in the tree base, Frost was looking over his blueprints of himself and found something of interest. "Uh, a memory switch?" He asked before he opened up his chest and thought that that switch was turned off. When you flipped it back on, a flood of memories came back to him.
Inside his mind, his memories rewinded to the point where he first activated and he saw a unicorn mare with a white coat, ice blue eyes, light brown mane, and wearing glasses. "Hello, Frost Gear." The mare said. Frost looked down at his hooves as he took his first steps with a little help from the mare. His memories jump forward to when he kicked a ball and it hit him when it came back and knocked him over. The mare rushed over to him to see if he was all right. His memories then showed him and the mare in front of a bowl and cooking utensils as she was teaching him how to cook. Frost put in some ingredients and spices into the bowl before tasting it, and it was good.
His memories went forward again and the mare looked a bit older as her mane had turned a bit grayish. Frost was holding and petting a little robot as if it was a pet, that gave the mare an idea to help with his loneliness. His memories jump forward to where she was building and finishing the falcon. When it activated, it flew up and around the room. His memories jump forward again to where the falcon was resting on his hoof and he was moving a toy car on the ground. The mare's mane had turned white as she had an old camera set up as she called him over and the three took a picture together. His memory is jump forward to where she's sitting on a bed and frost is holding a small butterfly. "You were built to protect those who cannot protect themselves." She told Frost as he let the small butterfly go.
His memories went forward again and this time the mare was really old and lying on the bed as Frost was concerned for her. "You were always the son I never had." She told him in a weak voice. It's time you begin your next stage in life. And the only reason I'm about to do this it's because I love you." She told him as he took off her glasses and gave a weak smile and he gave one back. Frost's chest opened up as her weakly rose up and turned off his memory switch which made Frost gave a blank look as her glasses fell to the floor. When his chest closed and he turned around, Frost found himself in unfamiliar place and doesn't remember anything.
In present day, Frost has his eyes closed as a single tear ran down his cheek at his memory of his mother and how she cared for him. He then notices a picture frame on the desk covered in the cloth and when he removed it, it was a picture of him, his mother, and the falcon together. The falcon then flew down and rests on his hoof as Frost smiled as he is old friend again. He then meet his way up the stairs to join the rest of his friends. "Hey, guys! Wait up!" He called out. When he came out of the tree, he find his friends being beaten to a pulp by the Treehorns, so he puts on his hood and charge at them. "Leave my friends alone! NINJA, GO!" He did Spinjitzu and knocked a few of the Treehorns back. He then threw his shurikens at a couple of them before he jumped and hit one in the face. The others got up and sees Frost able to hold his own against them as he knocked a few of them down.
"What's gotten into Frost?" Landrush asked.
"I don't know, but I like it." Flash said as each ninja joined each other back-to-back with the main six.
"NINJA, GO!" All six ninjas shouted before they did Spinjitzu and knocked a few of the Treehorns down. The main six work together to knock a few more down and tie them to the ground. Landrush then slammed his scythe down to cause a quake and make the Treehorns lose their balance. They all work together to knock them down or pick each other up when they were knocked back.
As Thunder spun around his nunchucks, he noticed they stopped and move out of the way for something. "Are they re-grouping?" He asked before they saw a bigger Treehorn with nine red eyes. "Who's that?"
"Their queen." Frost said with a glare as the queen roared as he stepped up. "You will not hurt my friends!" He shouted as he took out his shurikens. "There is nothing that will hold me back!" His shurikens glowed as his eyes started to glow bright. "I know who I am!" Then a beam of light shot up into the sky as his whole body begin to glow and lifted up in the air.
"What in tarnation is happening to him." Applejack asked as the others saw what's happening to him.
"Was he programmed to do that?" Gaia asked.
"I've never seen a robot do that." Thunder said.
"You mean Nindroid." Pinkie Pie told him.
"Yeah, whatever." Thunder responded as Flesh knew what was happening.
"Frost's unlocked his true potential." Flash said enthusiastically. Frost then threw his shurikens around the queen before he did Spinjitzu around her. His Spinjitzu was faster than before with his true potential unlocked. He soon floated back up in the air and caught his shurikens before firing a beam of ice at the queen, freezing her solid. With their queen gone, the rest of the Treehorns ran away as Frost fell to the ground when glow stopped. His friends ran over to him just when he was getting up.
"What happened?" Frost asked.
"That was awesome!" Rainbow Dash shouted with so much amazement.
"You were magnificent, darling!" Rarity told him.
"You should've seen yourself." Trail said.
"I've never seen anything like it in my life." Fluttershy said.
"This must be what Sensei meant about unlocking our hearts." Frost said as he figured it out. "I remember now. I remember everything. I remember my mother and how she cared for me. I remember where I came from. And I feel stronger for knowing."
"I'm so jealous. His powers are so cool." Gaia said.
"We have our very own Nindroid!" Thunder shouted as they all cheered with excitement.
"Watch out, Pythor. We're coming to get you." Frost said
Back in the Constrictai tomb, Pythor is still inspecting the stone and trying to figure out where the map is. "Where are the four Fangblades?" The Fangpyre General asked.
"What if there isss no map?" The Venomari General said.
"I know, I know! But I don't know where to look!" Pythor shouted.
"Then I'm taking my staff back." The Fangpyre General said as he picked up his staff.
"Me too." The Venomari General said as he did the same.
"Me three." The Constrictai General said as he picked up his and hit the Venomari General by accident. He started to be the other General with his staff before the two knocked each other's staffs out of their hands and started fighting. Pythor then saw the venom leaking out of the staffs and the two colors merching together.
"That's it." Pythor said as he started to gather the other Generals' staffs.
"What's it?" Scales asked.
"The Map of Fangs." Pythor told him as place each staff on top of the rock. "It's been right in front of us all this time. When the five fangs unite as one, the path towards the Devourer has begun." The venom from each staff started to link out on the rock. "It's not speaking of the five tribes, it's the venom in the five staffs." He told them as he placed a piece of paper under the staffs and the venoms creating a picture of Equestria, showing them four red fang shaped emblems in four different locations. "Behold, the location of the four silver Fangblades!" Every Serpentine cheered as now they have the locations for the four keys to unleash the Great Devourer. "Soon, The Great Devourer will be unleashed and Equestria will be ours!"
On top of a mountain, Sensei Wu meditates in front of the fire with the teapot on it until both Celestia and Luna flies in. "We got your message." Celestia said. "But are you sure about this?"
"Yes, asking HIM for help might be a risky decision." Luna said with concern.
"If Lloyd is involved, I'm sure he will help." Wu told the two sisters before he used his magic to pick up the teapot and pour the tea around the fire. Once he was done, the flames turn blue before a portal opened up in front of them. Wu picked up his staff and the case the katana in it before the three walked into the portal before it closed behind them. The three traveled through the portal before it opened on a different end and a completely different place. Once they made it through, they find themselves in a very dark place. A place unknown and filled with darkness.
"Hello, brother." A familiar voice called out to him as the three sees a figure in a black cloak standing a few feet away from them. They know who this figure, he is the Lord of Darkness, the bringer of chaos, brother of Sensei Wu: Lord Garmadon. "What took you so long?" He asked with an evil laugh.
