The Plan!

After all the bizarre things that happened between a Snow Dinosaur Princess's out of control magic, Dainason Princess's another new power, a swarm of Zombiesaur attack and another new dinosaur friend to the rescue, everything went back to normal and everyone were safe and sound back at Dino Village.

Unfortunately, Saura caught a fever due to spending too much time outside of the cold snow caused by the Cryolophosaurus Princess, Winter magic power.

All of Saura's little winged and feathered friends including Miku, spend their time taking care of her, following Erma's instructions on how to care of human needs. They only just need to prepare a cool cloth and put it on her forehead. After that they just spend the rest of the day staying by her side on her bed.

(MEANWHILE)

Outside of Saura's house, Winter was face to face with the female Megalosaurus, Mei, that saved them from the Zombiesaur T-Rex. Winter trembles because of how intense the female Megalosaurus was staring at her.

"Hey, I'd like a word with you." Mei started.

Winter nod shyly, still trembling.

"Your name's Winter, right? That's what Saura called you earlier."

"Yes... I am. Do you need something...Um...?"

"My name's Mei." Mei said her name and then continue. "If I'm right, you're a Cryolophosaurus, aren't you?"

Winter nodded.

"Then, I have something I wanted to ask of you. Are you related to the adult female Cryolophosaurus named Christa?"

Winter gasp at the familiar name of the same species as her.

"Christa's... my mother!"

Hearing the answer, Mei's eyes suddenly sparkles as she cried out. "I knew it!"

"Eh? You... You know my mother?" Winter jump back from the sudden change in tone of Mei.

"That's right! My mom was a friend of your mom and she told me all about their life together!" Mei exclaim.

"R-really?!"

Mei told Winter that her mother, Maria, was Christa's partner in their younger years and they were an idol duet called "Crystal Rose" on stage together before their disband.

Maria spent her life peacefully living with her Megalosaurus mate named Manny, in Misty Paradise while Christa mated with a Cryolophosaurus prince and became princess-to-queen of the Northern Land. Their last day together was the very same day they first met her mates, King and Manny respectively, at a Music Festival hosted by Bengala and Lazula, Guardians of Fire and Water.

"Wow, I never knew that our mothers were friends..." Winter awed.

"Is that so? Well, to tell the truth, I admire them and they're the reason I dream to be a singer too! Not to brag or anything." Mei huff proudly.

"Your dream is to be a singer?"

"Yes, that's right. But... I'm having a bit of... trouble at the moment." Mei sigh sadly as Winter tilt her head. "Anyway, enough about me! What about you? What's your dream? I knew Christa's now a queen, and that makes you the princess, right. How is it, being a royal and all that?"

Winter thought hardly about what Mei said. Her status and life as the Crown Princess of Northern Land were happy as it is. Her parents love her very much and vice versa. As their only child, she took her role seriously performing her duties so that once she reaches adulthood, she'll become the next ruler of Northern Land succeeding the throne.

"Being the Crown Princess has its work cut out for me, but I find them enjoyable. Since I'll be queen after my mom." Winter answer with a smile.

"I see, that's good. But, what brings you here in Dainason instead of Northern Land? Are you in some sort of royal business or something?"

"N-no, it's not that. It's just... Um..." Winter wonders if she should answer or not. But after knowing about her mother and Mei's mother being friends, maybe she could trust her. "I came to Dino Village was to learn to control my powers and... To make... F-friends!" Winter confess.

Mei's gasp at the answer. Other than the power part, she wasn't expecting the making friends part, since the Northern Land was a small kingdom filled in blankets of white with only Cryolophosaurus and Troodons as it's inhabitants and not many visitors visited the Kingdom since it's really cold.

"It was my father who suggested I come to Dainason Kingdom's Dino Village. He wanted me to know more about the outside world as it's the most important part of being a good royal... And also to make friends."

"Oh, I see." Mei nodded, impressed by this and thought how thoughtful of her father as the king he is. "And... Have you made any friends yet? Other than Saura, of course."

Winter making friends with the other dinosaurs were the ones Saura's currently friends with, but she gets along with Miku Microraptor the best. Both Saura and Miku were kind and friendly to her since the first day. Since Saura have magic, she's the one who help tutor her to control her magic. As for Miku, well, her friendship with the Microraptor can be bit rocky with her due to sudden burst of magic going out unintentionally when she gets emotional but he still finds her interesting.

"What about you, Mei? How do you know Saura... and do you like her?"

"Well..." She met Saura when she healed her injury caused by Z-Rex earlier before the attack and rescue. "And as if I like her or not, I guess you could say I'm just repaying a debt to her, that's all."

"R-really?"

"Y-yeah!"

"Are you sure?"

"Of course, I am! What else do you expect?!" Mei blush and turn her head to the other way, avoiding eye contact.

Winter jump a little bit surprised by Mei's loud voice, that she almost cause another blizzard but she didn't, which surprises herself. It's probably during the blizzard and Zombiesaur incident when Saura said she likes her to be her friend no matter what and saying that her magic is beautiful, the Northern Land Princess accepted her power and it no longer causes blizzards when emotional, even if it did, the blizzards just appear like a special effect, but that doesn't mean they won't feel the cold.

"Anyways, as fellow theropods, let's get along!" Mei declared.

Winter nod. "Of course!"

(AT THE CASTLE)

After reading the letter about the appearance of Z-Rex and Princess Saura being in danger, Zinnia, the Lavender Witch was in the meeting room with the Velociraptor Siblings, discussing what to do.

Just like Zinnia, the 4 siblings were furious that Z-Rex, one of Zongazonga's powerful undead dinosaur attack, putting the Queen, Saffira's daughter and princess, in danger! But they're sigh in relief that she wasn't hurt and not a scratch, thanks to her dinosaurs friends.

Now that Zinnia confirmed that the 4, now 3, Zombiesaurs that her evil cousin, the Dark Sorcerer, Zongazonga used for combat purposes were released, they can't sit back and rest yet since they're more of a challenge than the Raptor Zombiesaurs. Especially since the defeated Zombiesaur, Z-Rex, possessed the power of Resurrection. Who knows if the other 3 would have it or not... Or something worst.

"We can't rest just yet. We still have more work to do eliminating the rest of the Raptor Zombiesaurs." Dill reminded his triplet sisters as they nod.

"But, what about the bad, bigger ones?" Kanon.

"Yeah, what if we run into them? Should we beat them up too?" Junon.

"But, sis, what if we're no match for it? We still don't know if they're like the Raptor ones." Pinon.

"Leave the bigger ones to me." Zinnia said.

"Do you have a plan?" Dillon ask.

"I do. But... I can't leave the castle since I'm also guarding Queen Saffira's chamber and the tiara." Zinnia answered. "However, I already have something in mind. I just need to ask a certain dinosaur for help."

"Who would that be?" Dill asked.

Zinnia wave her wand and conjure a letter scroll. "Send this to him. The instructions for him are in it."

"Him? You mean..." The Velociraptor siblings trembled in anxious since they knew who the Lavender Witch was referring to.

"The Slasher."
