8 - Final preparation and the perfect pack raiders
Once Preston was cleaned up he wobbled to his clothes and began to dress, his ass muscles still trying to hold Danse's cum inside. Danse did the same with Nate's cum, knowing that was the first time he had ever had the man blow his load inside him before, as Preston had told him he was very tight but he was better as a top. Cait cleaned herself as best she could while avoiding cleaning the cum leaking out of both holes, as long as she didn't have Danse's cum all over her face she'd be good. Bringing a wet cloth to Nate she took the helmet from his hands and passed it to Danse, "He's trying to mess with the voice box, so you won't sound like you as long as it's on. You stick close to Preston too, I'd prefer it if you could lead a group, but with the different groups having Brotherhood soldiers in them it would be to much of a risk." Danse nodded at Cait, "I understand, and I'll make sure I treat this armor with the utmost respect Nate." Danse said as he looked at Nate as he draped the wet rag over his shoulder. Nate smirked, "I'm sure you'll have fun with it too, I took the chest piece and the arms from a raider boss for a raider gang that calls themselves Rust Devils."
"Isn't that the gang with the robot hard-on?" Preston asked curiously as he pulled his overcoat on over the chest armor Nate gave him, "Yeah, that's them. These armor pieces do tesla damage. I figured that would be fun as hell to use, I put explosive shocks on the legs so long drops on top of an enemy will blow their asses away, literally, I jumped off a building into a group of freaks with this thing, best fun I ever had." Nate and Danse had massive matching grins when taking power armor and it caused Preston to heave a sigh and go to Cait, "Can I help while they talk power armor?" He asked shyly even though they had just seen each other naked and had a wonderful fuck fest together. Cait grinned as she passed him a blank chest piece, "I'd never say no to a helping hand." They quickly got to work on finishing the other chest pieces there while Danse and Nate messed with the three different sets of power armor, Nate occasionally stopping to modify the vault suits.
A knock at the door made everyday freeze, "Danse get in the power armor and stay still, as long as it looks offline you should be fine," Nate hissed out as he ran to pull on his pants and kick dirt over the wet splotches still on the ground. Fastening his pants as Danse had the power armor look dead while he hid Nate called out in another hiss, "Preston get the door." Preston ran to the door and opened it to find Deacon grinning on the other side, "Sup guys, ready for a kill fest or what?" Nate grabbed him by the front of his shirt and yanked him inside while Preston shut the door behind him. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU TELLING PIPER ABOUT THE FUCKING KILLPOCALYPSE YOU ASSHOLE?" Nate screamed into his face as he held Deacon several inches in the air shaking him around like a rag doll.
Deacon had a lying look on his face as he replied, "I didn't tell Piper anything man, I figured you had sent her a message too." "Goddamn lying fuck!" Nate yelled at Deacon as Preston tried to get Nate to put Deacon down before Cait intervened, "Don't Preston, he deserves this right now, I'll tell you what happened but don't get in the way." Turning to look at Nate, Cait said in a barely calm tone, "Nate take him to the roof and hang him off the edge with Danse, that might put some sense into this stupid fuck." Danse came over in the power armor looking very scary with the shark grin Nate had painted on the face after adding the friendly mark. Grabbing Deacon by the back of his shirt Nate dragged him up the stairs, "Cait go ahead and take the signs off the doors and tell the guards to ignore all the screaming they are gonna hear and see. If Glory shows up, tell her to let Desdemona know Deacon is in some very deep shit. I won't kill him but by Hades I'm gonna fucking hurt him." Cait stopped him and gave a quick peck on his cheek, "Fuck him up darling," "With pleasure," Nate replied with a wicked grin as he continued to drag Deacon up the stairs.
As the roof trap door opened and closed Cait propped the red door open again as Preston dealt with the blue door. Seeing a long line of Railroad heavies led by Glory, mixed with more Minutemen soldiers led by Ronnie Shaw and more Brotherhood soldiers led by Maxson himself. Cait paled as she stood outside to take it all in, "JUST TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW, WE ONLY HAVE HEAVY ARMOR." She called out so the line could hear her, "YOU WILL COME IN THE RED DOOR GRAB YOUR ARMOR AND LEAVE THROUGH THE BLUE DOOR." She pointed at the doors for the ones closest to her, "IF YOU ARE ASKED TO WAIT FOR A QUICK CHAT, STAND TO THE SIDE NEXT TO ONE OF THE WORKBENCHES OR SIT ON THE COUCH, YOUR PICK. AFTER YOU LEAVE START HEADING TO STARLIGHT DRIVE-IN, IF YOU HAVE POWER ARMOR HAVE SOMEONE HELP YOU PUT THE FRIENDLY PAINT JOB ON THE CHEST."
She added noticing several suits of power armor as she heard Nate stand on the roof above her, Deacon being held by Danse hiding in the power armor. "I WANT FIVE AT A TIME, NATES HOUSE ISNT BIG ENOUGH OR COMFORTABLE ENOUGH TO HAVE A LONG LINE OF PEOPLE GOING IN ONE DOOR AND OUT THE OTHER. First five follow me, next five stand-by." Cait's voice was hoarse with her yelling, but it needed to be done, "Which one of you is Glory?" Cait asked as Railroad heavies entered, "That's me," a black woman with white hair answered, "After you get your armor, Nate wants a word it's about that moron Deacon." "Oh hell what he do now?" Cait shook her head, "You'll find out soon enough, Preston I need help finishing off more chest pieces now, you can find out when Glory does." 'Hopefully Nate doesn't kill him, that would be a bad thing with all these Railroad agents watching.'
Work went quickly as every group of five came and got their armor, gave Cait a kind word or two and left, Ronnie Shaw and Maxson waiting with Glory so they could talk to Nate as well. Preston quickly did chest pieces in red then passed them to Cait so she could add the blue and yellow stripes and deathclaw skull while Maxson helped and painted the chest armor of his Knights and Paladins power armor. When the last of the line left Cait sat down with a sigh, Nate had been making Deacon scream and cry like a little girl for the past few hours and everyone was concerned with his mental state on him leading the army. Eventually Danse jumped from the roof and landed with an explosive boom before tossing Deacon down, Nate came down the stairs and saw Glory, Ronnie and Maxson wanting to talk to him. "Two seconds," he said quickly as he ran out the door dragging Preston with him, "Preston, make sure Chris here is ok, the shocks didn't sound right when he landed." Making sure Preston and Danse both knew that this was the name Danse would go by in the armor.
While they stood outside Danse quietly whispered to Preston, "I like that name, I think it suits me. Do you like it Preston?" Preston nodded, "It fits, and it's better than always calling out your last name all the time." Nate smiled at the exchange as he messed with the shocks on the legs, one had popped loose again and the other didn't look to tight, "Nate," Danse continued to whisper, "Thanks for helping me figure out what to call myself, can't be Paladin Danse forever but Chris Danse is just as good." "Glad you like it now hold still I need a hammer, Preston can you grab the one that's still covered in blood from my workbench." Preston shook his head as he ran back inside dragging Deacon with him and dumping him in front of Glory. Quickly finding the blood soaked hammer next to a chest piece with a massive dent, as he came back out Nate tossed a small bag of caps his way, "Get Chris a face mask in case Maxson comes to help." Preston ran to Myrna's stall and got a small assortment of armor as well, "Danse he comes back you hop out of this and dress fast got it?" Danse nodded and began the process of leaving the armor.
Quickly dressing in the mixed assortment of armor Danse pulled the helmet on just in time as Maxson came outside, "What's the problem Paladin?" "I didn't have the shocks as secure as I originally thought Elder, but I've almost got it." Maxson looked over at Danse as he faked hand motions to Preston, "Why does he have a Brotherhood flight suit on Paladin?" "I had no vault suit to give him and that wasn't in my size, he's one of my Minutemen heavies. Those suits do remarkably well in the power armor so I didn't think it would matter, would've been a shame not to put that to use when it's too large on me." Nate said as he got the shocks back in place, "Chris I got it fixed, you heading out now or waiting on Preston?" Keeping his fingers crossed that the voice box worked now to change his voice as the armor hissed shut around Danse.
"I'll leave with Preston General, do I need to bring any extra FC's with me?" a whiny teenager voice sounded from the helmet, as he took a defensive position by the door. Nate was trying so very hard to keep his cool at the sound, Danse was gonna kill him later for sure, "The power pull for the Tesla stuff isn't too severe, but I'd still say take a page from the Brotherhood and bring twenty cores, and then an additional ten to fifteen for just in case," Preston had a massive grin on his face that could easily be confused with pride, as Danse bobbed his head. 'Cait's gonna get a kick out of that if I ask Danse to come inside and say something,' Nate winced, 'Definitely would get murdered though.'
When Nate came back inside he could see Cait trying to hold back a laugh as she walked away from the door, apparently hearing Danse's changed voice while making sure Maxson didn't start shit. Nate kicked Deacon in the ass as he passed before he pulled Cait closer to him, "Glory, make sure Deacon gets dumped back at Railroad HQ. Tell Desdemona he can stay there till he rots cause he talks to God damn much." "What he do General?" Preston asked almost to scared to know, "He told Piper about the Killpocalypse we were planning and she came here to start shit with me about it. She ending up calling Cait something I'd rather not repeat and some other things that she's gonna regret till the day she dies if she says it again." The anger in Nate's voice was scary, even to Elder Maxson, "You ain't gonna kill her are you?" Deacon asked from the floor before a weapon butted him in the back of the head, "You don't get to talk Deacon, you lost your speaking privileges."
Glory was furious as she said this, she always knew Deacon had a hard time keeping his mouth shut but this was an all time low, "I'll drag him back to HQ and chain him to the walls myself if I have too Bullseye. I'll meet you at Starlight as soon as I can." Glory dragged a sullen Deacon out the door and began to yell at him all the way to the gate, "What did she call you?" Maxson asked as he looked at Cait, still wondering why his Paladin wouldn't give her the invite to join the Brotherhood. Cait winced and Nate froze, both looked at each other before Cait gave a small nod, "She called Cait 'My mentally scared druggie whore'," Nate said in a furious voice, Preston wincing at how bad of an insult he knew that to be. Ronnie only stood there with a shrug, not really knowing Cait's full story more than she traveled with the General, and that the General had feelings for her. "Ok, I'll admit that's more fucked up than usual from Piper, General." Preston suddenly said, "MacCready seriously has a thing for her too?"
Nate nodded, "Guess he never heard of the phrase 'Don't stick your dick in crazy'," he murmured softly before pulling Cait close, sensing how close she was to breaking down from those disgusting words. He hated Piper because of them, and he knew he would have no problem taking out his anger on Piper, especially now with Cait's plan. "So Elder Maxson, what can I do for you?" Nate said suddenly getting everyone moved along, "I came to make sure my most promising Paladin was alright and to see if you had changed your mind about that invitation I asked you to inquire about." Right to point, just like Danse, "I'm fine, ready for the battle that is to come. And the invitation is still a no Elder, I'll let that person decide where they really want to be, as a person, not a member of a faction." Elder Maxson gave a defeated nod, he knew the Paladin would say that, as usual, "That's all I had then Paladin. I'll return to the Prdwyen and make sure I have drop ships ready with ammo drops for your new army."
Maxson turned to Ronnie, "They'll go to the castle first and get those grenades you where telling me about Ronnie.", the he bent to grab a heavy combat armor chest piece before snapping it on under his battle coat, 'Fuck I still want that coat,' Nate thought enviously eye fucking the coat again. "Ad Victorum Paladin.", Maxson saluted before walking out the door and stopping next to Danse and loudly saying so everyone in Nate's house could hear, "You look after the Paladin, Danse I trust you can do this as a Minuteman?" The power armor hissed open which made Preston pale as he and Nate ran to the door to see Maxson and Danse shake hands as old friends, "On my honor Elder." Danse said after pulling off the face covering Preston gave him before giving the Brotherhood salute then climbing back into the power armor, watching as Maxson walked off. A sharp cough came from behind Preston and Nate as they turned to look at Ronnie, "I don't have time for a dick measuring contest right now Ronnie, what do you need?"
Nate asked with a grin, "I'm not sure who'd win that right now," Preston whispered to Cait with a giggle, as she loudly voiced out "I wouldn't mind watching that actually." "You kiss your mother with that mouth?" Ronnie shot back, mad as hell that Nate had gotten her again, "Not my mother, and definitely not you." Nate shot back getting her again as Cait and Preston stood in the corner giggling madly. Ronnie stood there mad as hell for a moment before she dropped her shoulders with a heavy age filled sigh, "I'm getting too old for this shit General. I came to let you know that I won't be able to come have fun with you guys on the hunt. I will however be making sure that your supply drops will have plenty of artillery grenades. Preston told me you have at least ten cannons per settlement at a minimum, your larger settlements have up to twenty." Nate could tell she was proud about the number of cannons he implemented at every settlement, "Sixty-five at Spectacle island, last I checked at least," Nate added enjoying how her jaw dropped.
"I made damn sure that no matter where I was in the commonwealth, I could hit everywhere and anywhere with the cannons. Only place I can't reach is deep into the Glowing Sea, but I'm working on that." Ronnie nodded, General wasn't so wet behind the ears after all, "I want all settlements tuned to Diamond City Radio or Radio Freedom for updates on the battles. Both if possible, get with Travis and work that out before you go back to the Castle." Ronnie went to the door then stopped, "What about wounded General? Where are they gonna get hauled out to?" Nate scratched his chin as he thought, "One of three places, Boston Airport, the Castle, or Spectacle Island. Most likely Spectacle though, it's got more room, a lot more room." Ronnie nodded once more before giving a salute and walking out the door. Nate heaved a heavy sigh as he sank into the couch, "You ok Nate?" Cait's voice asked as she sat next to him, "I just picked the two biggest places in the commonwealth for preparation for all out war. Was half tempted to use Vault 88 and its size for the rally point instead of Starlight."
Nate rubbed a hand across his face, "The worst feeling I have is knowing that some people might get killed because of this. Innocent people could get hurt from this whole thing." Nate pulled Cait close as Preston left making sure the door was closed behind him, Preston knew the General had every right to be worried but Preston had made sure everyone would be ready to defend themselves to the last man and woman. Cait cuddled into Nate's chest, glancing at the armor pile to make sure they wouldn't have to fool around with the paint for a while, before reaching a hand up to stroke Nate's cheek. Nate pushed his cheek into her hand as he looked down at her, "Everyone knew what they signed up for when they volunteered for this Nate. Some might die, and none might die." Nate leaned down and kissed her softly, "Let's not talk about it anymore, what's done is done, can't stop it now."
Cait nodded as she wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him back down to her as they kissed again, "You know, we do have some unfinished business between us that Piper interrupted." Cait whispered as they pulled apart, Nate grinned as he pulled her into his arms ready to take her up the stairs before a knock on the door interrupted them again causing both to give a disappointing groan. "Fucking hell it's probably the Pack this time, I need to pull my helmet on. Only Gage and Mason have seen my face and I wanna keep it that way." Nate told her as he set her feet down, "You've got ten minutes before I open the door Nate." She challenged him with a grin, "Give me something harder next time." He called out with a laugh as he ran to his armor pulling it all on in its proper places.
Cait opened the door as Nate reached the bottom of the stairs pulling his helmet on, "That's cheating," he stated dryly as she stuck her tongue out at him. Cait looked out the door then slowly looked up, the Pack raider in front of her was massive, almost exactly the same size as Nate. Cait grinned evily as she turned to Nate, "Remember that press problem we wanted to deal with? I found someone for it already, come on in big guy." Nate stared then chuckled as he realized what Cait meant as the Pack raider came in removing his antlered helmet covering his black hair and hiding his blue eyes as he ducked slightly under the door frame. "You came for the hunt gear right?" Nate asked as he had Cait close the door, the Pack member said nothing at first then gave a stiff nod, "We might have something better for you instead if you're up for it."
The Pack member again said nothing before he shrugged, this got Nate curious, "You know it's ok to talk to me, I might be the Overboss but I'm not an asshole like Colter was." The Pack member then shook his head no, before pointing at his mouth opening and closing it without a sound. "Can't speak?", the Pack member nodded solemnly making Nate hold back a sigh. "Can any of your buddies translate for us? Maybe do this different job with you?" The Pack member tapped his finger to his chin in thought before he perked up and nodded, pointing first at Cait then Nate, then Cait then himself. Nate quickly connecting the dots before Cait got mad, "Your girl can translate," a rapid nodding was his answer, "She coming on the hunt too?" Again a rapid nodding, "Was she at the Outpost or she at Nuka?" Pointing at the ground was his response, "Outpost, good. You were there too?" Nate asked showing the Pack member to the couch, a shake of the head then pointing at an empty Nuka Cola bottle was the answer.
"Wait you were at Nuka World but she's at the Outpost? How'd you get here first?" The Pack member made his fingers run in the air, "Runner?" The gun being fired hand sign, "Runner escort?" A thumbs up and a nod was his answer, "You think you and your girl would be up for a side mission that no one will ever find out about?" The Pack member shrugged, "What do I call you for now?" Bunny ears came up hopping around on his hand, "Bunny?" Nate was trying not to laugh as the Pack member called Bunny nodded. "How'd you get that name?", Nate asked as he stood, Bunny thought for a minute before he hid his face with his hands then peaked over the tops of his fingers, "You know how to hide? Or something embarrassing?" A nod was all he got, 'Both, definitely both.' He thought, "Chill out here, when your girl shows up we got a job offer for you two."
Bunny sat quietly on the couch as more Pack members came and went, eyeing him funnily as they left, Grand Zealot Richter and his best men came and went only staying long enough to exchange some news of happenings at the Nucleus. Longfellow showed up completely smashed as Nick walked him in the door, Nate gave a sigh before he gave both of them their armor and begged Nick to wait long enough for Longfellow to sober up before they got to Starlight. Finally the last of the Pack showed being led by Mason and Gage, Bunny's eyes lighting up as he saw another Pack member that was his same size and a smaller Pack member the size of Cait before he quickly hid his interest. "Gage, Mason, ready to fuck up some morons?" Nate asked as he pulled Cait closer to himself, whether anyone knew it or not he had been kind to the Nuka World Raiders and just acted like a pissy Minutemen General instead of the Overboss he could be and Gage and Mason seemed to be the only two to truly know it.
Gage grinned as he and Mason stepped inside with a few others, "You know it Boss, you want me to tell you what info I have from the bodies or wait till we're all at the main rally point?" Gage asked, a small hint of fear filled uncertainty in his words as he motioned for the next few Pack members to get their new gear. "Wait till Starlight, it probably won't matter anyway cause I've altered the plans slightly." Gage shrugged as he grabbed his own set of armor, a sigh of relief leaving his lips, while Mason asked, "Why is one of my guys sitting over there like he owns the place Boss?" "Oh Bunny? I got a little side job lined up for him and I just need someone to translate, my hand reading can only go so far." Nate told the truth in full as he eyed Bunny out of his peripheral vision, "I got a couple that can translate, I'll give both with you, HARE! KITTEN! UP HERE, BUNNY NEEDS A TRANSLATOR OR TWO." Mason shouted at the two pack members in the back and watched them quickly make their way up as more Pack came and went with their armor, "Yeah Boss?" The raider named Hare asked as he stood before Nate, "I got something lined up for Bunny and maybe a couple more, if you guys will stick around I can explain in detail."
"Oh, and Gage, Mason, for the love of Hades, make sure everyone plays nice when they get to Starlight. Only way to keep your asses safe is if none of you act like raiders, just act like a bunch of eccentric mercs that I made friends with alright." Nate told Gage and Mason in a firm tone as Cait stood next to him, always at his side when dealing with the Nuka World bullshit he had to cope with, "You got it Boss, play nice and act un-raider like. Should be easy enough to do," Gage answered as he and Mason herded the rest of the Pack out of Diamond City, Mason only gave a thumbs up as he finished securing his armor before running out after the rest. Nate heaved a heavy sigh as he shut the door and locked it tight, "God I hope that's the last of everybody," Nate murmured as he went to the base of the stairs and watched as Cait came back from the other door.
"We're clear for now, just us and these three Nate," Cait told him causing everyone to relax before Kitten ripped her helmet off and jumped on Bunny kissing him hard. Hare sighed at their antics and quickly explained to a curious Nate and Cait, "They've been together for years, last time Bunny had a run back to the outpost was a couple months ago. She's missed him like crazy and I had to deal with my brothers girl bitching about how much she misses him." Nate laughed at this as he pulled Cait closer to himself, "I think I can understand that kind of feeling," Nate then pulled his own helmet off enjoying the cool air as it hit his sweat covered skin. "If you can give them a moment, I think Kitten wanted to tell Bunny something she should have told him last time they were together."
Hare's voice was firm as he turned to look at the two making Kitten blush as red as her hair as she turned to face Bunny and carefully told him, "Bunny, you and me. We're gonna have a baby." Nate and Cait enjoyed the spread of emotions that went across Bunny's face as he tried to make sense of what he heard before he grabbed Kitten up into a bear hug and kissed her hard. "This might make the job offer seem hard if not impossible now, I don't want to risk the little one," Nate mumbled to Cait making her nod slightly, "We should still ask though." She mumbled back as she squeezed his waist, "So what's the job Overboss?" Hare asked getting bored with his brothers antics with his girlfriend, Nate heaved a heavy sigh, "It's a complicated plan but it's also gonna pay you guys royally if we can get the first half done. I was gonna ask Bunny and his girl to dress as settlers or act like our body doubles and either lure a pest problem of mine to a location not far from here or play dead and we get you to be a settler and be the lure. After I knock out said pest problem I'll give you guys a shit load of caps to go see Doc Sun and get a face job."
Nate pulled Cait down into his lap as he sat on the stairs, "After that you guys can do what you want. Go back to Nuka, go to the rally point, or start new lives, I won't care." Kitten and Bunny seemed to perk up at the last part, starting a new life free from being a raider sounded really good to them especially now, but they still wanted to fight one last time. Bunny quickly gave some hand signals to Kitten who nodded in agreement with him, "Bunny and I are in, we'll be your body doubles, if Hare is up for playing a weak ass settler." Nate nodded, "I'm ok with that, I'll go talk to Doc Sun see how much I need to put aside for a little bonus I think you two would enjoy. Hare, I can see if you can get a face swap before if you want, but you all need to understand that this must remain as an absolute secret, it never gets out, even after its done."
Hare nodded this time too, "If Mason asks, we can say it was a scout run. Different places that could be captured and turned into another outpost for the Pack or something for this new army of yours." Cait grinned, "Nate's been calling it the Killpocalypse Army and I think it fits, the others might agree." Cait shivered slightly as Nate pressed his lips to the back of her neck stealthily, all three Pack members nodded in agreement with the name, "It's catchy, and enjoyable when you think about the service it's doing for the commonwealth." Kitten said suddenly making Hare eyeball her, "The plague was fucking catchy too, but you don't hear people saying it was beneficial." This made Nate snort, 'Haven't heard that one in a long time,' "Before we start killing each other now, how about you guys go to the Dugout Inn and get yourselves a few drinks. Kitten, you might wanna just have a Nuka Cola or a water, booze isn't good for still developing babies." Kitten looked shocked, "How do you know that?" "I remember from before my son was born, I had to get my wife to stop drinking and smoking for the whole nine months. Had to really keep her from both while she was still breastfeeding him, and definitely avoid any chem use other than stimpacks, kid will be in severe danger then."
Cait listened carefully as Nate told Kitten this information, snuggling deeper into his grasp, while Kitten, Bunny, and Hare nodded carefully. Both Pack males fully ready to keep Kitten from drinking anything more than a water or Nuka cola, Kitten sighed deeply already knowing this information from a doctor she had already seen, hearing it from the Overboss really enforced what she had already learned. As they began to leave for the Dugout Nate quickly pulled Bunny aside, "When the time comes, it's gonna hurt. You let her crush your hand to dust and you grin and bare it, that's the only help we can ever give them, if we could share the pain we'd do it in a heartbeat. But we can't so we can only help them endure, you get me?" Bunny nodded before clapping a hand on Nate's shoulder as he walked out the door.
