Two people stood across from each other on a grassy plain surrounded by trees. The first was a 6'1 tall man with blonde hair, blue eyes and whisker marks on his face. He was wearing a black hooded coat(Organization 13 cloak from Kingdom Hearts), and under his coat, he wore an orange shirt, black pants, and black boots. He wielded a large katana called the Masamune. (Sephiroth's Sword from ff7) This was Naruto, a half-devil hybrid.
His opponent was a beautiful woman who stood at the same height as her rival. She had fair yet pale skin, and white swept-back hair with two small bangs that emphasized the fierce, yet stoic expression on her face.
She wore a short, silver buttoned blue coat with three separated coattails that reached to her waist, tan fingerless gloves, snakeskin belt, dark green pants, brown boots and from her neck dangled a golden amulet with a red gem and on her waist was placed a sheath that held a katana smaller than the male's. She was Vergil, another half-human and daughter of the Dark Knight, Sparda.
These two had been friends for a few years. It took Naruto a while (and several fights) to break Vergil's shell but once he did, the two got close enough to become good friends. (Look up the artwork by Dantewontdie)
At that moment, they stood in a grass field watching each other's movements.
"Are you sure you wanna go separate ways like this? Normally, friends hug and say goodbye." Naruto said. Vergil responded by using her thumb to raise The Yamato out of its sheath.
"You're right but we're not normal, are we?" She said before appearing right in front of him and swung Yamato down. He blocked her attack with his own blade, the impact igniting a spark.
"You're probably right." He said before pushing her back and dashing forward to deliver a laceration on her that she healed from immediately.
Vergil retaliated with another swing that Naruto blocked with the tip of his blade before thrusting his sword forward, forcing her to jump back to avoid getting stabbed.
He charged forward and slashed at her four times, two of which she dodged before parrying the third and backflipping away from the fourth. As soon as her feet touched the ground, she pirouetted away from a thrust and ducked under another swing.
Naruto, unwilling to leave an opening, backed up against her so that their backs touched and grinned at the glare that she sent him from over her shoulder. The two twirled in place, neither wanting to be the first to separate before he was forced to move away as Vergil thrust her sword backwards as if aiming to stab him through herself and jumped away from the upward slash that followed after
Vergil sheathed her sword and stood still until Naruto appeared behind her and swung his sword at her neck. She quickly unsheathed the blade and disappeared before the blade connected. She reappeared above Naruto and brought down an overhead slash.
Naruto blocked the blow, but felt something pierce his gut before looking down to see one of Vergil's summoned swords fading away from his body and his wound quickly healing. His momentary shock gave Vergil enough time to disarm him and attempt to stab him in the chest.
Naruto stopped the sword from impaling him but he slowly feels the blade cutting his hands and moving forward. He kicked her in the stomach before recalling his sword as his hands healed. "Is claiming your father's power really that important to you?" He said, trying to make small talk.
"Power is everything Naruto. Without Sparda's power, I'll be another weakling. I'm sure I told you this already." She said and vanished at the same time he did. The two of them reappeared in the middle of the distance between them with clashing blades.
Naruto took advantage of his katana's size to sweep her legs and deal shallow cuts on them that healed quickly. She used her power to create more summoned swords, launching them all at Naruto, some of which he blocked and parried before getting impaled by the rest that promptly vanished as their purpose was fulfilled.
Vergil summoned more swords above her head and channeled demonic energy into The Yamato before quickly drawing and sheathing it several times in the span of a single second while releasing the swords.
Judgment Cut
Blistering Swords
Naruto, knowing that Vergil was about to launch more swords, placed his right palm on the ground and a wall of ice erupted in front of him, shielding him from the projectiles. Vergil unsheathed Yamato and cut at the wall multiple times in quick succession before finally sheathing the blade again. As soon as it clicked in place, the ice wall crumbled, having been cut to pieces.
Naruto burst through the falling wall and threw several spears of ice at Vergil, using them as a distraction to kick Yamato out of her hand before impaling her with his sword.
Vergil coughed out the blood welling up in her throat and tried to pull the sword out of her chest, but she could feel her body losing strength. Eventually, she pulled it out with great difficulty, but dropped to the ground, her strength sapped from her.
'Is this really my limit? No, I have to be stronger than this. I can't be this weak.' She thought as she caught her breath.
"You alright?" She heard as she looked up to see Naruto offering her a hand.
Vergil stared at the outstretched hand that seemed to mock her with its mere position. Did he think he'd won already?!
"I don't need your help. I need more power!" A blue aura appeared around her, the force knocking Naruto back.
"Damn she's already using her devil trigger!" Naruto muttered as Vergil's appearance began to change. Her power multiplied as blue and black scales appeared on her rapidly transforming form.
Faster than he could see, a sword impaled him through the stomach. Vergil snatched Naruto's sword, cut him deeply across the chest and using her newfound strength, threw him across the field.
"Dammit, she's stronger than I thought." He thought as he broke his momentum by holding on to a tree. Sensing danger, he ducked, narrowly avoiding a slash that would have taken his head off. He lashed out with a foot and her in the stomach before knocking her back with a huge blast of ice, freezing her.
Something felt different. Naruto looked around cautiously as he pulled Yamato out of his stomach before dropping it into the ground.
Naruto looks around with wide eyes as he notices the problem. All the trees were gone. Every. Single. One. They were all gone." She cut down all these trees with only one slash. She is a child of Sparda." He heard the ice incasing her start to crack before it fully shattered revealing Vergil starting to run out of steam but still roaring to fight.
Yamato pulls itself out of the ground it is stabbed into before returning to Vergil's hand. Naruto takes a more serious approach as a single dark wing springs from his body. He calls back Masamune before crouching down aiming its blade at the air while aiming its tip at Vergil who copies his stance. The two warriors stared at each other for a few seconds before clashing once more.
Two hours later.
Their fight lasted until sundown but it was finally over. Vergil in her human form sat on Naruto's waist, aiming Yamato at Naruto's neck, same with Naruto who was aiming Masamune at her throat. Vergil sat panting as the heat of battle started to slowly fade away. Naruto then removed his blade from her neck while she did the same. Vergil felt her body heat up again but not for the thrill of battle. She looked down at Naruto feeling the heat rise and she lowered and placed her hand on Naruto's face.
"Curious."
"Vergil what are you-mmph." Vergil pulled him into a kiss. She felt the heat spread to her loins as she leaned harder into the kiss.
Naruto kissed back as he felt his body give in to his urges. He felt his blood rush to a certain part of his body. Vergil could feel it too and she started to grind her ass on Naruto's tent.

A 19-year-old Vergil was walking throughout the night with one intention at the moment to find him. She remembered his address walking past several more houses until she found what she was looking for. She opened up the cloak she was wearing to reveal a newly born baby. Her baby daughter was wrapped in a black blanket. She hadn't thought of a name. She figured he would name her and do all that other stuff. She gently placed her down on the porch before placing a note on the blanket.
She looked down at her infant daughter watching her and at the same time wondering if this was the right decision. "Mundas took everything from me. Should I fail, Naruto should be able to take good care of you." She said, kissing her baby's forehead before placing it down,knocking on the door and teleporting away.
Naruto opened the door to see nobody there until he looked down to see a baby wrapped in a black blanket on his porch. He then notices the note. He takes the baby and note into the house before grabbing the note and reading it.
Dear Naruto,
I'm truly sorry for suddenly dropping this on you but I couldn't keep her. Not while I still have something to do. I couldn't leave her in an orphanage, I thought you'd take better care of her. Hopefully, when I gain enough power and defeat Mundus we can start over from the beginning. But if things go bad just know I'm sorry.

Naruto finished reading the note before placing it on the table and taking a sigh, looking down at the sleeping baby he was holding.
"I'm guessing Vergil didn't even bother naming you. Huh,"
"I guess Nero will do it. Nero Eva Uzumaki. Doesn't sound too bad." Naruto said as he noticed the baby was waking up. She looked at Naruto for a solid 3 seconds before she started to cry.
"Sigh, I kinda wished your mom brought some food and diapers for you. She brought a note and could've at least bought what I needed for you." He said as Nero started crying louder.
"Ok c'mon Nero let's get us something to eat." Naruto said as he picks up Baby Nero to go get some food and diapers and books.
A few months later
"Alright, I think I'm getting used to this." Naruto said after rocking Nero to sleep after trying for an hour. Naruto sat down before eating his dinner while reading a book to help him raise Nero who was resting. He decided to try the new McDonald's that was near the supermarket. He dips his hand into the bag to grab a handful of fries before placing them into his mouth before grabbing his drink before taking a sip before spitting it out instantly due to the drink burning his mouth.
"Gah the fuck is this shit? Holy water!" he jumps outta his seat yelling waking up Nero who starts to cry.
"Dammit I shouldn't have said that out loud." He mumbled as he picked up Nero and tried to rock her back to sleep which worked for a few minutes until the very ground he stood on started to rumble.
"Well that's just great." He said as the earth around rumbled and a pack of Hell pride demons started to spawn in.
Naruto sensing the demons held Nero in his dominant arm as he prepared himself for battle. He covered his hand in the icy mist before freezing a few before dodging a scythe slash before freezing the one that slashed at him.
Naruto grabbed the closest demon near him before throwing it towards its allies and throwing ice shards at them, killing 4 of them and leaving three behind. Naruto kicked another into the wall causing it to burst into sand before quickly giving his drink and sipping some before spitting it out at the last two demons.
The demons cried out in agony as their bodies decayed trying to wipe the soda from their bodies as they turned into sand.
Naruto looked around not sensing anymore demons before his house started to shake. Thinking quickly he used his arm to cover Nero before quickly running and breaking through a wall landing on the wet ground outside just as his house collapsed. Naruto watched as his home caved in on itself.
"Well at least you're ok Nero," Naruto said checking up on his crying daughter. Noticing the rain and storm clouds starting to disperse. Naruto tried to calm her down, not noticing others in the area.
Dante pov
"Am I… Being defeated?" Vergil asked herself after falling onto the ground panting heavily.
Her opponent standing across from her was her younger sister Dante. Dante was physically and mentally drained in the span of a few hours having to fight and possibly kill the last remaining family she had left. Dante wears long, tan-colored jeans, black fingerless gloves, and military-style boots. She wears a red cloak with a gray shirt underneath. Her coat has zippers on the sleeves and a buckle around the waist, and two brown, leather holsters that hold a pair of twin guns. Her clothes were badly ripped and cut out to all the damage she took.
In Dante's hand was her signature weapon the Rebellion. A broadsword with a skull as its guard. Dante looked down at her elder twin with sadness and anger in her eyes. "Come on get up, you can do better than that." She said, mocking her twin.
Vergil gathered what little strength she had left before standing back on her feet determined to end this and gain the power she needed. The realm around them starts to shake.
"The portal to the human realm is closing Dante because our amulets have been separated."
"Let's finish this Vergil. I will stop you even if that means killing you." The younger twin said.
Both twins ready their blades before charging at each other. Vergil prepares an overhead slash but Dante strikes first slashing through her sister's stomach with Vergil's wound healing as soon as Dante cuts through her.
Vergil, losing the last of strength ,drops her amulet and her fathers sword. She quickly picks up the amulet before slowly walking backwards towards the cliff.
"No one can have this Dante. It's mine." she said panting and out of breath.
Dante attempts to run and catch her sister before she falls but is foiled when Vergil draws her sword and points it at her neck.
"Leave me and go unless you wanna be trapped here. I am staying to claim the power I need. Go." She demanded as she fell back with Dante trying to reach her. Vergil uses the Yamato to cut Dante's hand to prevent her from falling as well.
Feeling the cut on her hand ruining her glove she walks over to her father's sword and pulls it out of the ground. She then walks out of the demon realm victorious but still defeated.
Standing outside the Temen-ni-gru watching the rubble of the ruined city and waiting on her ally was Mary Ann Arkham. She was completely lost in thought. She had finally done it; she killed her father and avenged her mother. But she still felt so empty. She thought she'd finally feel peace, but instead she felt alone. Hearing footprints behind her she turned and saw Dante walking towards her holding her Rocket launcher. Dante holds it on her shoulders before noticing Mary.
"You're still here?"
"I need that back." she said gesturing towards her rocket launcher.
Dante holds it out before pulling back right as Mary reaches out. "No late charges I hope." She says jokingly with a wink.
"We'll see." She says as they both hear a strange noise. They started to hear a baby crying.
They both turn to see Naruto holding Nero while trying to rock her to sleep. Naruto had been trying to get Nero to sleep for several hours but every time she got close to falling asleep demons would attack and wake her up again.
Naruto was honestly starting to lose his patience. He looked up to see two women staring at him. He looks eyes with both of them before walking up to the Temen-ni-gru. He takes a disappointed sigh before turning around and walking away.
While Naruto is walking away Dante spots something familiar about that baby. She sees a small chunk of silver hair.
"Hold it." She says as Naruto stops and Mary looks confused.
"Dante what are yo- That's her baby isn't it?" Dante says ignoring and cutting off Mary.
"Yea this is her child. I'm Naruto Uzumaki and this is my Daughter Nero Eva Uzumaki." He said as Nero finally calmed down enough to sleep.
"You named her after our mother." Dante said, walking up to the man.
"Yep. I wanted to give our daughter a closer connection to the human side of her family. I hope you don't mind."
"Of course not. Just didn't expect it, that's all. I'm Dante and this is Mary."
"It's nice to meet you both." Naruto said with a slightly strained smile, "If you don't mind, would it be okay for me to come check up on Nero?" Dante said while choking up some, holding back the dam.
"Of course not. I think she would love to meet her aunt. Do you wanna hold her? " Naruto asked.
Dante didn't remember saying yes but suddenly her hands automatically moved into a position to hold the baby. Feeling a weight being dropped onto her arms she noticed how light she felt. With the dam finally breaking she noticed a few tears running down her face.
She didn't know why but she looked up to see Narutos smiling face."It's okay Dante let the devil cry. Even devils may cry." He said as she held on to her niece with tears rolling down her face.
Vergil pov
The area Vergil landed in was surrounded by destroyed buildings and fallen demons. Vergil sat on her knees recovering her breath from the fall and the fight she just had. Sensing a strong demonic presence she looked up to see three floating eyes looking down at her from a distance. Realizing who this is she got up to her feet starting back at the creature.
"It seems I've got no choice. But my father defeated the Prince of Darkness. I should be able to do it too." Vergil said drawing the Yamato one last time throwing away the sheath and charging towards Mundus knowing she'll either come out victorious or not at all.
