Third Person POV

"Are you sure this is necessary, Kari?" Asked Ryoichi.

"Trust me, it is. Besides, it's only fair if they both meet each other properly since you knew them." Said Kari.

"I guess, but you didn't really have to do this, y'know."

"I know, but you do so much for everyone else, I just thought why not do something for you?"

Ryoichi gave it a thought for a moment. He did do stuff for others more than he did for himself. So maybe to him, this could be some time for him to relax and let his sister and friends repay him in a way.

"Alright, I'll go along with this."

"Thanks, bro." Kari said as she hugged him. "Now, we just have to wait for them and..."

"Ryoichi! Kari!" They heard Izuku's voice and saw him run up to them.

"Ah, there you are, Izuku."

"Oh now you're calling him by his first name." Ryoichi whispered to her.

"Shut. It." Kari retorted.

"Say, where's Yaoyorozu? I figured she'd be with you two by now."

Just as Izuku mentioned Momo, a limo pulled up right in front of them. The door opened and Momo stepped out wearing some fancy casual clothes.

"Sorry for showing up late everyone." Momo apologized for her tardiness.

"It's fine Momo. You're on time anyways. Look at you showing up in a limo. Dressing up all fancy for today I see." Kari complimented Momo's outfit.

"My parents suggested that I should be given a ride here, even though I said I'm fine walking here. The same goes for my clothes." Momo explained, though it seemed like she was hiding something behind that.

"Just roll with it..." Kari deadpanned in her mind from Momo's bluntness. "Right, what should we do first? Walk around for a bit?" Some shopping maybe?"

"I guess we could do some shopping for a bit. I've been meaning to get some new clothes." Momo suggested.

"Yeah, I needed some heavy weights. Then again, shopping for clothes doesn't sound too bad either..." Izuku began to overthink and mutter about what they should do.

They just looked at him as Kari sweatdropped in disbelief, Momo was a bit amazed at how much he was muttering, and Ryoichi looked slightly irritated.

"Does he tend to do this?" Momo asked them.

"Eh, sometimes."

"More like too often." Ryoichi said before bopping Izuku on the head, getting him out of his mutter trance. "You were nerdin out again."

"I was? Sorry, it just slips out sometimes." Izuku apologized for his mutter spree.

"Don't worry about it. How about we just walk around for a bit before we decide what to do?" Kari suggested for them to do.

The group agreed and they went into the mall. They walked around while looking around at what the mall had there for them. It had plenty of stores to check out and restaurants to eat at. There was even a comic book store that was recently installed and the group decided to check it out later while they do other stuff.

The childhood friend group then stopped for a moment for a quick break and ate lunch while they chatted about different subjects.

"I'm just saying, if you're gonna keep them separate from each other, then get another love interest for a new run!" Ryoichi ranted about a comic he was reading about.

"Or just do something new for once." Kari agreed with him.

"I'm not into romance but yeah, that sounds a bit dumb." Izuku sounded a bit disappointed.

"Sounds like I've missed a lot if they really went this low." Momo was the only one left out on this topic and was curious.

"You're not missing much." Ryoichi said before taking another bite from his food. "Gotta say, the food here is over the roof. This stuff is great. Making me forget about my rant."

"I know, it's so delicious!" Momo said with a gleam in her eyes and ate away.

Kari chuckled at her. "Sometimes I wonder if you're half saiyan with that appetite."

"My quirk requires fat lipids in order to create stuff. So the more I eat, the more fat is stored and I'm able to create whatever comes to mind. Plus..." A blush appeared on her face. "I never tried this food out before, so I'm really excited to try anything else out here."

"Well we got the whole day to ourselves, so let's have some fun while we're here, okay?" Ryoichi said with a small smile.

Momo's heart was beating fast when she looked at him. Her blush grew larger and an odd feeling was warming up to her. It was there multiple times and she denied it, but now she was slowly accepting it.

"Yeah... let's do that." Momo said in a very calm tone with a warm aura. "And... Maybe we could do this more often, like when we were kids?" Momo played with her hair strand.

"I wouldn't mind that at all." Ryoichi agreed with her and he had a warm aura too.

What the two didn't know was that their hands were touching each other's as Momo's was on top of Ryoichi's. He didn't even notice and neither did she, so they just ignored as if it was nothing.

While the two best friends were having a small moment, the two... close friends were just watching.

"What's going on? Yaoyorozu seems really happy." Izuku asked Kari.

"Heh, they can deny it all they want, but the spark is there, Izuku." Kari muttered with a smug look on her face while Izuku was still confused.

"Right... Um, if you don't mind me asking you this, h-how have you been?" Asked Izuku.

"Eh?"

"Well, I know we don't talk as much, but since you're Ryoichi's brother I thought... you know..." Izuku was becoming nervous as his face slowly turned red.

Kari chuckled and wrapped her arm around his shoulder. "Yeah, I totally get it, Izuku. I may have been with my brother all the time, but we never really got talk much, so it's only fair that we should get to know each other more properly."

"Y-yeah! I was thinking that as well." Izuku said more calmly.

"Glad to see we're on the same page. And I'm doing fine by the way." Kari answered his question. "And you?"

"I-I'm doing great. Thanks for asking."

"Don't mention it." Kari said with a small smile.

She held her fist out for a fist bump and Izuku gave her one. He didn't show much of it, but Izuku was freaking out internally on receiving that fist bump.

The group continued their hangout time as they explored the mall some more. They stopped by many stores and bought whatever they wanted. After checking out the other stores the mall had, they stopped by the comic book store.

They browsed the place as Izuku was searching all over for any All Might related comic books, Kari was showing Momo around while the rich girl was gleaming with curiosity, and Ryoichi was looking for what else he could read.

Ryoichi found one that caught his eye and reached out for it. Just as he grabbed it, another hand grabbed it at the same time as him.

"Oh, sorry about that." Ryoichi apologized.

"It's all good. You can have..." The stranger trailed off when they got a good look at Ryoichi. "Oh my god, Akatani?"

"Uh... yes? Have we met?" Ryoichi asked, wondering who this was.

"Ryoichi? Is everything okay?" Momo asked before she noticed the stranger talking to him. "Shinobu?"

"Momo? Wow, it really is you!" Shinobu shouted in excitement and gave Momo a huge hug. "It's been a long time, hasn't it? You've really grown up."

"So have you. You're more formal than before." Momo said as she noticed Shinbou's clothes were formal looking, especially with the glasses.

While the girls gossiped, the rest of the group was confused about who this Shinobu was. Izuku was out of the loop, and the twins were trying to piece together who she was. Ryoichi felt he's seen her before and Kari felt the same, but felt uneasy with her at the same time.

"Do you guys know her?" Asked Izuku.

"Yes? No? Maybe? I feel like I do, but I don't." Ryoichi answered. "You know, her Kari?"

"Nope, not a clue." Kari shook her head and scratched it.

"Oh, right, your family moved away a long time since we last saw each other. I'm Shinobu Kuragiri, we used to hang out when we were kids from time to time." Shinobu introduced herself.

"Shinobu..."

"Kuragiri... Wait, I remember now!" Kari shouted. "Cat girl! That's who you are!"

Shinobu slightly blushed at the name while Momo giggled.

"Cat girl?" Izuku was still confused by this.

"It's because of my quirk. I got cat-like eyes if you can't tell." Shinobu said and showed her eyes as her pupils were sharper than normal.

"Oh wow! That's an amazing quirk!" Izuku said with excitement.

"You say that with almost every quirk." Ryoichi muttered under his breath.

"Really? For an 'amazing quirk' my eyesight is just bad. That's why I have these glasses, to see better."

"Right, most cats are farsighted, so they can't see up close. But they can also see in the dark, so it must work well when it comes to finding your way through the dark and stealth missions." Izuku geeked out and explained how cat eyes work.

"Hm, you're not wrong about the night vision part. You really know your stuff on quirks, greeny." Shinobu complimented him.

Izuku became flustered and was stuttering as he couldn't even form his words.

"A shy one, isn't he?" Shinobu asked.

The others nodded in agreement over Izuku's shyness.

"Hm, you got an interesting friend here, and... I wanna give you something, Ryoichi." Shinobu reached into her bag to give Ryoichi. When she pulled it out, the group became surprised.

"Hey, isn't that..?"

"Yeah, your old spider hero plush you carried around as a kid." The plush had clear stitches on it and looked a bit dirty. "It's not in perfect condition, but I tried to fix up what I could. And I want to say... I'm sorry, and can we start over, as friends?" Shinobu bowed and handed the plush out to Ryoichi.

Ryoichi had mixed feelings on this. He was mostly confused about Shinobu having his old toy and her sudden apology. Being unsure on what to do, he decided it was best for Shinobu to keep it.

"I appreciate it, Shinobu, but... I think you should keep it." Ryoichi told her.

"Huh? Even after what happened to you?" Shinobu was bewildered to hear this.

"I know that we didn't see eye to eye before, but it's all in the past now. I'm not one to hold grudges over old things, so don't worry too much about it, okay?"

Shinobu was baffled to see Ryoichi like this. She remembers him being more shy and timid, while also brave. Never to this day has she seen his kind and laid back side.

"I see, well, I guess I can keep it." Shinobu said and put the toy away.

"Yeah, besides I have more back at home."

"Trust me, he does. He's a fanboy." Kari said to Shinobu.

"Hey you have no room to talk about your collection of–" Ryoichi was shushed by Kari's finger before he could call her out.

"Shh, shh, shh, your secret collection is safe with me, brother... Including you, Izuku." Kari called Izuku out for his All Might stuff.

"Why me?! I didn't even say anything!"

The three debated with each other while Shinobu and Momo stood by and watched as they giggled.

"You and Ryoichi really grew a lot over the years."

"Yeah, we did. And I'm thankful for him for that." Momo put her hand over her heart and her cheeks slowly became pink.

Shinobu noticed the look Momo was giving and she grew a smug look on her face. "I guess you could say... you two are getting real close, eh?"

Momo didn't hear what she said at first before it registered in her mind and her whole face became red. "W-well I... I mean Ryoichi's a great person a-and... Kari I think I know what book I want!" Momo grabbed Kari and they sped away to another aisle.

The boys were confused by the girls sudden disappearance while Shinobu was just laughing to herself.

"Izuku, have I ever told you girls are weird sometimes?" Ryoichi asked Izuku.

"No, and I don't want to think too much about it." Izuku answered.

"Heh, boys. You'll learn eventually. I better head off, it's getting late anyway."

"Isn't it the afternoon still though?" Izuku was confused to see it was still day time.

"Leaving already? Not interested in this comic anymore? You can have it if you want it." Ryoichi handed Shinobu the comic but she rejected it.

"Nah, you saw it first. It's the last copy anyway, I'll just find another store that has it. See you around, tiger." Shinobu said before she left.

As she left, Ryoichi became confused when she called him that name. "Tiger?"

The girls grouped back up with the boys as they bought the books they wanted and went back to their hangout. The day went by with them having fun and enjoying each other's time. Soon, it was already evening and they were heading home.

"Wow, today was fun! We should do this more often." Said Izuku.

"Maybe we should invite Akio next time, then we have a childhood hangout." Ryoichi suggested having Akio hangout with them next time.

"Oh yeah, why didn't Mendez come with us today?" Asked Momo.

"Well I asked him, but he was busy at the moment. Something about family business I think."

"I see. Then if we do get the chance for a next time, it will be a proper childhood hangout when Mendez comes along."

"Yeah, and maybe Kacchan–" Izuku was saying before Ryoichi cut him off.

"Let's stop right there. We both know Bakugo's explosive attitude is too much for that." Ryoichi said as the girls agreed with him.

"I guess you have a point..." Izuku also agreed with Bakugo's explosive temper being too much for them.

"Exactly. And I think one All Might fanboy is enough." Said Kari.

Izuku's cheeks became pink as he felt embarrassed when Kari called him a fanboy. "I mean, well..."

"I'm just messing with you. We're all fans of somebody here. There's no need to feel ashamed about it."

"Even when it comes to you being a massive fan over Black Widow?" Ryoichi called her out.

Kari just glared at him while he just gave a smug look back at her. "Shut it, Spider-Boy."

"Aw, Widow Girl jealous?" Ryoichi retorted back at her.

The twins continued to bicker with each other while Izuku and Momo stayed out of their mess.

"I guess siblings are basically long time rivals, huh?" Izuku slightly chuckled watching them bicker with each other.

"You could say that." Momo said with a small giggle.

The childhood group made their way home until Izuku separated from them first, saying his goodbye before he went home. The twins and Momo made it back to Ryoichi's home as they sat in his room and waited for Momo's ride.

"I really enjoyed today, especially with you two." Said Momo.

"Hey, don't mention it. You're welcome here anytime." Said Kari.

"It's a surprise to Shinobu today. I wonder what she's been up to this whole time." Ryoichi said as he was curious about her.

"Well, while you were gone, Shinobu gave me some company when I was alone. She was really nice to me, even though she had a tendency to... well..." Momo trailed off with a sweatdrop.

"What the?" Kari spoke and they noticed that a widow hero plush was suddenly in her bag, and had the similar conditions to Ryoichi's old toy. "My Widow plush? I thought I lost this. But wait, how..."

They were thinking about how Kari got her toy again and it was dumbed to one answer. "Shinobu!" They all realized Shinobu also had her toy as well.

"Wait, so it was Shinobu that stole your old toy?"

"It appears so. She does have her habit of stealing things." Momo slightly chuckled. "But at least you have your old toy back."

Ryoichi and Momo were slightly happy for Kari, however they noticed an aura of pure anger surrounding her and Kari was slightly shaking.

"That rotten, sneaky... she had my plush this whole time..?" Kari gritted through her teeth and her eyes were glowing red and she began to slowly heat up. "I'll teach her to steal from me!"

"Kari, calm down! You'll burn it!"

"Oh, crap, she's really mad! Momo, help me calm her down!"

While Ryoichi and Momo were fighting Kari to calm her down, Yui came upstairs to check on them and saw they were a bit busy at the moment. She decided to not make it worse and leave herself out of the situation.

"I think I'll stay out of this one." Yui commented before the smoke detector started going off. She sighed before rolling up her sleeves. "Or not..."
