Tsu'tey continued to teach Lia how to read the trail, even when it was raining, despite the fact that the rain would wash away the evidence, there would still be traces, and Lia would pick up the scents and sounds in her surroundings. They would watch, from a distance, as Viperwolves tended to their babies in their nesting grounds.

Lia smiled softly as the Mother Viperwolf cleaned and cared for her young, before ducking lower to the ground when the Mother suddenly perked up and growled lowly. Lia glanced back at Tsu'tey, who silently gestured for her to follow him back to Home Tree. On their walk back, he would explain about the network of energy that flows through all living things.

"The energy that is given to us, to the animals, is merely borrowed."Tsu'tey said, glancing down at Lia, who looked back up at him, listening very carefully to what he was saying, trying to understand and see the forest through his eyes like Grace told her and Jake to do."One day, you have to give it back."He added softly, looking away from Lia, who came to a sudden stop, causing him to pause and look back at her."Is something the matter?"

Lia, who had glanced around the forest, looked back at him."I just remembered something my real Sa'nok told me when I was a child."Lia said, shaking her head."It does not matter."She added, seeing the questionable look in his eyes, before she started walking by his side.

Before Lia could go back to her real body that night, Tsu'tey decided to take her out exploring during the night. He would point out which plants were safe to touch and which weren't safe to touch, even though Lia already knew this because of Grace's Book, before taking her to the lake and told her they were going for a swim.

"Now? But it is late."Lia said, although she was smiling as she stood by the edge of the water.

"And?"Tsu'tey asked, but he was smirking as he silently walked into the water.

"It is cold."

"It will be fun."

"How so?"Instead of verbally answering, he splashed her, causing her to yelp as the cold water hit her face."Oh, you are so dead!"Lia hissed playfully and quickly and silently dived into the cold lake, like Tsu'tey had taught her too, resurfaced behind Tsu'tey to splash him. Whipping around, Tsu'tey returned the fire with a chuckle before Lia disappeared under the water again, and this time, when she resurfaced, she jumped on his back, sending them crashing into the water.

One day, while training to hold the bow and arrow correctly, Tsu'tey didn't correct Lia, merely touching her elbow and wrist to check her stance. Seeing that her entire stance was correct, he couldn't help but look at her as she stared ahead, at the target.

As if feeling eyes on her, Lia glanced up at him with wide eyes and as if realising that he was too close and still had his hands ghosting over her elbow and wrist, Tsu'tey stepped back, and his trademark scowl appeared on his face, but it lacked the heat that usually came with the look and Lia giggled, her eyes taking on a certain shine that Tsu'tey's own eyes reflected.

During a light rainfall, Tsu'tey had taken Lia out hunting, and despite her internal conflict about killing, she had to remind herself that she would give the Animal a proper send off to Eywa. The Animal that they were prowling after was a Hexapede, or as the Na'vi called them; Yerik.

It was grazing when the duo finally found it. Lia, who was crouching low to the ground, paused, watching the Hexapede briefly, before she took a deep breath and took aim. And just as it looked directly at them, Lia, with a little bit of regret in her eyes and in her heart, released the arrow, letting it fly. It hit the animal with no difficulty and it fell to the ground with a moan of pain.

"Ka."Tsu'tey hissed at Lia.

Lia had froze, realising that she had harmed an animal, at it's moan of pain, but Tsu'tey's sharp, yet equally soft, voice snapped her out of her shock and she darted over to the animal's side, with Tsu'tey right behind her.

Lia bent down by the Hexapede's side, looking directly at it as she said;"I see you, Brother, and thank you."Lia inhaled softly just before she ended it's life with a single, direct and deep, stab into it's side with the Hunter's Dagger she had been given."Your Spirit goes with Eywa."She pulled out her dagger."Your body stays behind to become part with the People."With that said, she pulled out the arrow.

"A clean kill."Tsu'tey stated, causing Lia to look up at him."You are finally ready, Marali."He said, rather proudly, and Lia couldn't help but smile shyly at him.

Two days later, Tsu'tey led the Sully Siblings and a few other young Na'vi's up the mountains, to Iknimaya, on their Pa'li, where they would choose their own Ikran, and once they did, Lia and Jake would become one of the People.

Once they got to the top, they dismounted their Pa'li's and Tsu'tey turned to his group of students and said;"Come!"Lia, who had gotten off Aarin, grabbed Jake's arm and dragged him over to Tsu'tey, to listen to what he had to say."Today, we will be going to the Ikran's Nesting Grounds are, where you will meet and bond with an Ikran."Tsu'tey stated and his eyes narrowed."But know this; you do not choose the Ikran. The Ikran will choose you."Lia bit the inside of her cheek to keep herself from laughing at the fact that Tsu'tey had just made a Harry Potter reference without even knowing what Harry Potter was, but nodded at what Tsu'tey was telling her. The group climbed up on the connected floating rocks, to the top and Lia and Jake realised that they now had nowhere to go, which caused Jake to glance at Tsu'tey."With me!"Tsu'tey said as everyone gathered at the top.

"Now what?"Jake asked Tsu'tey and Lia glanced up at them.

"Keep up!"Was all Tsu'tey said to Jake, who barely caught what he said over the howling wind while Lia cocked her head to the side before her eyes widened when Tsu'tey suddenly jumped on a vine that was coming towards them while saying;"Let's go!".

Without a second thought, Lia jumped after Tsu'tey, onto the second vine."Amalia!"Jake yelled, terrified for his Sister, who had started to climb up the vine, after it had stopped swinging widely and had slowed down.

"C'mon, Jake!"Lia didn't have to glance back down, not that she wanted to, to know that Jake had yet to follow after her, Tsu'tey, and the other Na'vi's.

As they climbed the vines, Lia saw Neytiri, flying on her Ikran, whooping loudly as she followed them. They raced across a bridge made of strong and thick logs, and once they made it to the other side, where they went through a tunnel like cave, that led them to their destination on the

On the other side of the tunnel was an opening where they could look out at the sky, but Lia bent down beside the female Na'vi; Saeyla, who was one of the few Na'vi who still didn't like her, but Lia ignored the glare boring into the side of her head, because Saeyla's glare was weak in comparison to Tsu'tey's glare or scowl, and peered down at the waterfall below with a look of awe. Tsu'tey secretly smiled at Lia's look of awe, before turning his attention to Neytiri, who had landed and got off of her Ikran, along with everyone else, watching her silent interaction with Jake.

When Neytiri turned her attention to Jake, with a smile on her face, Lia pursed her lips as she realised that the smile on Neytiri's face was rather gentle and her eyes were soft as she looked Jake, who had returned her smile, making Lia wonder when the duo's relationship had gotten... that close. Before Lia could ponder more on her Brother's and Neytiri's closely growing relationship, her attention was drawn back to Tsu'tey, who had returned Neytiri's greetings before he turned to Jake with an unreadable look on his face.

"Jakesully will go first."Tsu'tey declared in English and Lia rolled her eyes at how Tsu'tey pronounced her Brother's name, knowing he did it on purpose.

Jake handed his bow and arrows to Lia."Good luck."Lia said as she took the items from him.

"Thanks, Lil' Sis."Jake said with a small smile towards Lia before walking off with Neytiri following him, after giving Tsu'tey an unreadable look as she walked past, causing Lia to frown as she glanced between them, wondering what that was about.

Again, before she had time to ponder on that silent interaction between the two older Na'vi, Tsu'tey grabbed her hand and pulled her along to the ledge behind the waterfall, following after Jake and Neytiri to where a lot of Ikran were gathered.
