Mary Jane's head jumped up from its resting spot, horrified by the most wildest dream she ever experienced.

Feeling the early sunrise shinning from her window, she still felt a slight of cold sweat as she was getting her senses together. MJ realized she was laying down on her bedroom floor and still in her undergarments.

MJ got up on her feet and stretched her arms out with a yawn. She noticed she felt a little more good than her usual wake-up. Yesterday, she felt like she was getting sick after the school field trip, but for some reason, all that just somehow... faded away.

Shrugging the weird thought aside, MJ walked up to her mirror, like any teenage girl would do every time they would get out of bed in the morning, only to notice something's not right. She stepped back with a surprised yelp, seeing her body's almost resembled that of a female athlete's body; it looked like she gain a more leaner muscle with a noticeable six packs and a more curvier look than usual.

MJ slowly stood forward as she examined her new body in the mirror. Her expression still in a state of shock as she was not expecting to experience a whole new change overnight.

A knock was then heard from the other side of her bedroom door. It was Madeline. "Mary Jane? Honey, are you okay?"

"Uh, I'm feeling better now, Mom," MJ answered, not wanting her mother to worry about her newfound development.

"Should I call in the school that you're sick for today?" Madeline asked.

"No! No, I'm really good," MJ tried to reassure. "Just let me get dressed, and I'll be down."

"Okay, MJ," Her mother stepped away from the door, walking down to prepare her morning breakfast for the day.

MJ still maintained her gaze at this newfound strange version of herself staring right back at her in the mirror. Who are you, girl?

Meanwhile next door, Peter's wakeup experience wasn't that too different.

Peter's eyes opened wide as he just woken up from a terrifying dream. He started blinking, getting a clear vision of his surroundings - seeing himself still on the floor he collapsed on with the blanket he grabbed from his bed resting on him - only the thing was, he noticed his vision was clear, actually too clear in fact.

Thinking he was just imagining things, Peter quickly got up from the floor and grabbed his glasses from the counter and walked up to his mirror. Somehow, everything looked blurred the moment he put his glasses on, and when he took them off, it's perfectly clear again, like as if he somehow gained a full 20/20 vision.

He put them on again, it's blurred.

Took them off again, it's clear once more.

On. Blurred.

Off. Clear.

On. Blurred.

Off. Clear.

Peter narrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "Weird," He said, placing his glasses to the side.

Before he turned away from the mirror, Peter noticed something else peculiar about his body. He became appalled by how his torso went from skinny to being very strangely muscular with the six packs. After a few moments of examination, he came to admire his new body.

His train of thought was broken when he heard a knock on his bedroom door.

"Peter," Aunt May called out.

"Yeah?" Peter replied.

"Are you alright?" Aunt May asked worriedly.

Peter nonchalantly shrugged, not knowing how to answer. "Um... I'm fine."

"Are you feeling any better? Any change?" Aunt May asked.

"Change?" Peter grinned, looking down at his body one more time. "Yep, big change,"

"Well, hurry up! You're gotta be late," Aunt May reminded.

Peter nodded. "Right."

As Peter was about to pick which clothing to wear for the day, his eyes was drawn up to his window when he saw the girl next door finished dressing and left her bedroom.

Peter couldn't help but noticed MJ looking a bit more leaner than usual. He wondered if she had any similar changes, too, but shrugged it to the side as he looked away from his window with a smile. "Well... okay."

After dressing up for the day, Peter was sprinting down the stairs before spreading his legs across the walls as he made a flawless leap over the handrails, much to his obliviousness, landing onto the living room floor, catching his Aunt and Uncle by surprise.

"Oh goodness me," Aunt May exclaimed in shock.

"Oh jeez," Uncle Ben placed his cup down and turned around, astounded by how well Peter's was in front of him. "Wow, I thought you were feeling sick."

"I got better," Peter smiled. He then made his way to the front door. "Bye, guys."

"You haven't eaten anything," Aunt May pointed out. "Have you got your lunch money?"

"Yeah, I got it," Peter said, grabbing his backpack and grey hoodie that was hanging nearby the door.

"Hey, Michelangelo, we'll be painting the kitchen right after school, got it?" Uncle Ben reminded.

"Sure thing, Uncle Ben," Peter said, already on his way out. "Don't start without me."

"And don't start up without me," Uncle Ben gave a thumbs up with smile.

With that, Peter gave a departing smile to his folks as he left the house for school.

After Mary Jane received a goodbye kiss on the cheek from her mother, she stepped out of her home and made her way to the bus stop.

For some reason, as she was walking down the regular streets of Queens, MJ started to experienced this strange tinkling at the back of her head. While it was a weird feeling, she kinda liked it.

Unknown to her, Peter was just trailing behind her since she left her home. He stopped in his tracks as MJ was waiting for the school bus.

"Hi, MJ. Hello, MJ." Peter muttered his words to himself, still feeling shy about talking to her. "I don't know if you knew this, but we've been neighbors since I was 6. And I was wondering if we could get together sometime?"

Out of nowhere, a roofless sports car that was driven by MJ's friends stopped by the side curb right next to where she was standing.

Peter was still muttering to himself. "Do something fun? Or, I don't know. I thought it'd be time to get to know each other."

MJ hopped a ride onto her friends' sports car and driven away, leaving the awkward Peter by himself.

"Or not."

After a few moments of awkward silence, Peter noticed the Midtown High school bus passed by in his peripheral vision, skipping on him again, just like the day prior. He tried to make a run for it.

"Sorry, Parker. The bus is full!" A student on the bus mocked, the rest of the passengers laughed along.

"Hey, stop the bus!" Peter pounded the bus window while still running as fast as he could. "Hey, tell him to stop."

"Catch a cab!"

Peter tried pounding again, only for his hand to get stuck on the giant Midtown High Wildcats flyer, ripping it off from the side of the bus. He immediately slow down as the bus driven off, leaving him alone in the middle of the street road.

Peter tried to shook the flyer away, but was still stuck to his hand. He used his other free hand to forcefully remove it, leaving it laying on the street road.

Still in disbelief of what just happened, Peter took one more look at the palm of his hand, but to his confusion, he didn't see anything that could make his hand stuck on the flyer.

Pushing the terrible thought aside, Peter took the subway to Midtown High instead.

Anyway, any constructive criticisms and comments would be greatly appreciated. I hope you enjoy reading this chapter.

Reviews:

Rivet94: Thanks man. Yeh, it still sux I couldn't get it to a good length, but I'll always try when I can for the sake of this fanfic story.

CT311998: Cheers, man. Also wanted to say, I love reading your Amazing Spider-Man fanfic series; it's one of my favorite readings on this site, among many others. Can't wait to read more from you.

And yes, majority of drawings I posted on my deviantart page will be in this fanfic will be in the future chapters (including some that I hadn't posted yet for two later films).

Lover of Marvel: Same. I still couldn't believe it's been long since when I first watched the film on a VHS tape. Really hits me in the nostalgia every time I'm thinking about it.

Sadly, I already made up my mind to keep this fanfic self-contained to its three movie stories and characters, with the exception of a tiny few added in. As great those ideas you have listed down, the last thing I wanted was to suffer the infamous Avi Arad syndrome of adding in unnecessary elements that has no relevance in the main characters' beginning-to-end journey. Like you said, Spider-Man 3 was a mess that could've been avoided if weren't for the unnecessary elements. However, that doesn't mean I wouldn't continue this universe after this story somewhere down the line.

And no, I won't bring Harry and Gwen into a romantic relationship. I actually have some intentions to keep faithful to the canon relationships that occurred in the classic 616 comics, just for the sake of multiversal consistency. Besides, I already have someone else in mind for Harry in the 3rd film.

Spider-Reader: Appreciate the love, man.

Yeah, it does really suck to not see Gwen Stacy play a role during the Trilogy's early lifecycle, considering she does play an important one through the character's lore, even after her unfortunate death.

And sorry, I won't be bringing in those characters from the video games, nor am I adding any elements from other universes. As I already said to another reviewer, I already made up my mind to keep this fanfic self-contained for the sake of the character's story.

And no love rival with Black Cat, nor will she appear in this universe. I just hate love triangles in general, because they always bring up messy drama where it's not needed. That being said, considering how Peter's, Mary Jane's and Harry's relationship plays a crucial role in the original trilogy, I feel I have to keep that plot in for the sake of the story. They are the main characters that shaped this universe to the way it is after all, however, that doesn't mean I couldn't make a few changes to it for my fanfic.

Guest 13/5/2022: Love your support, dude.

No, this universe won't follow any of the Spider-Man TAS and Spectacular Spider-Man stories, I'm only following the Sam Raimi's story from beginning to the end. Don't want this universe to get convoluted with other off-universe's stories. And no Avengers or any other Marvel-related characters in this universe either.

And... hmm, you do have a good point about Peter and Mary Jane's being hormonal teenagers/young adults. I may have to consider it, but only when I feel it's the right moment for it. I don't to force myself to add an element just for the sake of it and not in service to the story.

DCDGojira: Thanks for your kind words :)
