Bonnie's POV
That was weird. Why was she in such a rush to get off the phone?
"Everything okay?" Caroline asks.
"Um, I'm not sure. Kalle seemed weird on the phone." I stated, worried.
"You think she may be in trouble?" Caroline asks and I shake my head no.
"I actually think she might be hiding something." Putting my phone down on the table, I state.
"Hiding what?" Jeremy asks, concerned, taking a few steps closer to me.
"I-I don't know. But Damon said something about not to fully trust her." I state rubbing my head. I'm still exhausted from doing the spell.
"Wait, don't trust her? She saved my life yesterday." Caroline stated.
"I know. That's why I'm confused." I stated, sitting down.
"Actually, it makes sense." Jeremy stated, and we both looked at him. "If you think about it, we barely know anything about her. I mean, she told us why she was here, her brother, Katherine, and all that, but we don't know anything else about her."
"What don't we know?" Caroline asked.
"For one, we don't even know her last name. Or what her motives are for staying. I mean just because we caught Katherine, she all of a sudden wants to help some strangers? That doesn't seem weird to you?" Jeremy states skeptically and he makes sense.
"You have a point. We don't even know what she does after she leaves the group. We don't even know where she lives." I state, realizing we barely know anything about her. We were too busy with our Klaus and Elijah problem to notice.
"Okay. But if she isn't helping us, what is her goal? Why has she repeatedly saved all of us?" Caroline asked, confused.
"To gain our trust? So she could stab us in the back later." Jeremy states uncertainly.
"The thing is, I don't think she wants to hurt us. I mean, we have seen how powerful she is. She might not be able to take all of us at once, but she would have enough to take us out one by one, which she hasn't even tried." I stated confused.
"Well, regardless of whether she's trying to help us or not, we should know more about her. Can you do a location spell to find her?" Caroline asks, and I'm about to answer when Jeremy interrupts.
"Absolutely not. She is drained from getting that information out of Luka. We are done with spells for the night." Jeremy stepped in front of me. I smiled at his thought of protecting me.
"I wouldn't be able to do the spell anyway. I don't have her blood." I try to think of another way.
"What about something that belongs to her?" Caroline asked, and I looked at her in surprise. "Could that also work?"
"Actually, that may work. It's a personal matter, but finding her will be difficult." I state, and Jeremy looks concerned.
"Well, we have to try. If it's too much, we can just stop." Caroline states, and I nod.
"Call Damon. He should have a jacket or something like hers after she stayed there." I tell Caroline as I stand up, and she nods.
"Let's set the candles on the table." I tell Jeremy as I walk past him, but he stops me and grabs my hand.
"Bonnie, you just used a large amount of magic. You should be resting, not doing another spell." He tells me in a concerned voice.
"You're the one who said we barely know anything about her. We need to do it now, while she is busy and distracted." I tell him, trying to reason.
"Your safety is more important." He told me, and I gave him a small smile. I put my other hand on top of his hand to reassure him.
"I will be fine. I promise." I tell him sincerely. After a few seconds, he nods.
I try to move my hand away, but I get lost in his eyes. I try to move, but my body won't pull away. I know he feels the same way, because he continues to look into my eyes as well. His eyes then look down to my lips. I do the same thing, without even realizing. Instead of pulling away, I feel my body moving forward. His lips, coming closer to mine. I don't fight it anymore. I am just going to let it happen. He is so close, I can smell his breath. He is inches away from my face. I bring my lips closer to his and close my eyes...
"Okay! I called Damon...OH!" Caroline stated walking into the room surprised. Jeremy and I jumped away from each other. I went closer to Caroline, almost tripping over Luka's body. I honestly forgot he was even here.
"Oh I didn't know y'all were..." Caroline trails off smirking. I can see Jeremy blushing, so I nudge her. "Whaaat? Not my fault there is so much tens-"
"Anyways!" I cut in, giving her a side-glance. "Let's just set up for the spell."
I don't even wait for an answer and make my way to the kitchen. Could that have been any more embarrassing?
Damon arrives 20 minutes later, and for a vampire, he was taking his sweet time getting here.
"What took you so long?" I ask annoyed.
"Had to clean up after Elijah and some werewolves destroyed my home." Damon throws me a jacket, which I assume is Kalle's.
"Why were werewolves and Elijah at your house?" Caroline asked, confused, and I was wondering the same thing.
"Because I'm a very popular and likable person, people love to hang out with me!" Damon states sarcastically, and Caroline rolls her eyes.
"You got your ass whooped by werewolves, didn't you?" Jeremy asks, smiling, and Damon gives him the evil eye.
"Don't talk like that to someone who can easily kill you...again." Damon threatens.
"Not if you ever want to be with my sister." Jeremy states, and Damon gets snarky.
They started arguing back and forth. Caroline and I looked annoyed at each other, waiting for them to finish, which didn't seem like any time soon.
"Can we stop and just do the spell?" I state, and they all silently agree. "Thank you. Now I need a vampire to help with the spell, so which one of you will do it."
Caroline looks at Damon, and so does Jeremy. He looks up at us, surprised. "Why me? Why can't Barbie do it?"
"Because you've spent the most time with her," Caroline states, and Jeremy agrees. Damon just rolls his eyes.
"Fine. What do I even need to do?" Damon reluctantly agrees.
"I need to put your blood on her jacket first." I state.
"Why?" Damon asks.
"Just do it!" I stated not asking. Damon then cut his hand and put the blood on the jacket. "Now keep that hand on the jacket, and give me your other hand."
He leaves his bloody hand on the jacket, and gives me his clean one. "Now close your eyes and clear your mind. Concentrate and look for her."
Damon closes his eyes and does what I say. I do the same thing. I close my eyes and start concentrating on the spell.
"Phasmatos tribum, nas ex veras, sequitus sanguinem." I state. I feel something in my body, like a tingle. I think it's working.
I opened my eyes, to see Damon with his eyes open too. He looked distressed. His eyes looked like they were betraying him.
"Did you see her?" I ask, already knowing the answer.
"Yeah...with Elijah." Damon states and we all stare shocked.
"Wait, what? What do you mean by Elijah?" Jeremy asked.
"We're going to her right now." Damon stated, walking out of the kitchen. "Let's go!"
"Wait! Where are we going?" Caroline asked, and I wondered the same thing.
"Just follow me, and hold onto Bon Bon here." Damon stated making his way to the door.
"Wait, what about me?" Jeremy asked, and Damon didn't even look in a joking manner right now.
"You're staying here." Damon stated, and Jeremy tried to fight, but Damon didn't have it. "No buts or ifs or anything. This won't be like the Katherine situation; Elijah isn't like any other vampire. You'll stay here, that's the end of the conversation, so sit down."
I can see that Jeremy is a little afraid of Damon right now, so he just decides to listen and heads back to the living room.
"We will be right back." I tried to assure him, and he gave a small smile.
"Okay. Let's go blonde." Damon then makes his way out the door. I hold onto Caroline, as she follows shortly after him.
We arrived very quickly. She actually doesn't live that far from the Salvatore house. I couldn't really see the outside of the apartment, as we rushed inside.
Once we got to the door, I couldn't hear anything.
"Are you sure Elijah is here? It's so quiet." Caroline asks.
"He is here. I know it." Damon stated confidently.
"Can you guys smell an herb?" They take a moment to smell, but eventually both nod. "That's why you can't hear. This special herb makes it impossible for vampires to hear anything."
"She doesn't want anyone to know what she's talking about." Caroline realizes, and Damon looks angrily at the door.
"Or who she's talking to." Damon states angrily. He then makes his way to the door and kicks it open. Just then, we see Elijah choking Kalle.
"Oh my god." I whisper to myself.
"I think we were off by a little." Caroline whispers to me, and I nod to her.
"We will continue our chat another time, Kalle." Elijah tells Kalle while still choking her. He then lets go of her and she drops to the floor.
"Let us in, Kalle!" Damon screams at Kalle and she tells us to come in.
Caroline and I make our way to help Kalle off the floor, while Damon rushes to Elijah's side. But he is already out the window.
I have no idea what he was planning to do with Elijah, but he seems really pissed off. I guess after telling him that Elijah planned to sacrifice Elena, it made him like this.
But after seeing Elijah almost kill Kalle, I guess the good news is that Kalle probably isn't a traitor.
