"What the hell are you guys doing here?" I ask rudely.
"Wow. No 'thanks for saving your life'. Rude much?" Damon stated while putting the dagger in his pocket.
"I didn't need help." I snapped and moved away from Bonnie and Caroline.
"Really? It didn't seem that way from our perspective." Bonnie stated. I headed to the counter, as I was feeling a little dizzy. The first chokehold had been stronger than I thought.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked again, while holding onto the counter.
"I think the more important thing is why the hell was Elijah in here?" Damon asks angrily. Jeez, what's got him so uptight.
"He wanted to talk, so I let him in." I stated as I headed to the fridge for some water. Why am I so dizzy?
"So you let an original into your home? And didn't think it was a danger." Caroline asks worriedly.
"Yeah, I can handle myself, but thanks for worrying." I state while drinking a glass of water.
"It didn't seem like you had it handled." Damon stated. "Why do I have the feeling you're lying?"
"I have no idea." Annoyed at him, I continue to drink the water.
"You're actually lying." Bonnie states. I can feel Damon turning his eyes away from me, but I continue to look away from the group.
"Why did you say Elijah was not here when I asked if he came." Bonnie asks skeptical and Damon smirks at that remark.
"Nice Bon Bon. Explain that." Damon stated and I've had about enough. I feel ready to pass out, but I need them out of my house.
"You want to know why Elijah was here? Fine. He did need my help. But not for the ritual, he came to find Klaus." I state angrily finally turning around to face them, and I see all their faces change.
"He knew of my ancestors power and thought I held the same amount of power. And he may be right. But the only problem is when he met my ancestors, they were at least in their late 20's or early 30's, and I just turned 19 a few months ago. Regardless, I could not find N-Klaus." I say correcting myself. I can feel my body about to give out.
"Okay. When you couldn't find Klaus, that's when he started choking you, right?" Caroline asks, and I nod.
"Wait. Why would you let him in the first place?" Damon asked skeptically.
"And why would he hurt you if he knew it would break our pact. He promised he would protect Elena's friends." Bonnie adds in.
"I let him in, because I'm not stupid enough to say no to one of the original vampires. And I guess he hurt me because he, like I know, that I am not truly one of Elena's friends. So that rule doesn't apply to me apparently." I state, walking to the dining room and sitting down.
Bonnie and Caroline look at each other sadly, while Damon continues to give me the death stare. "I still don't buy it. Elijah is all of a sudden in your house after we learn his plan of killing Elena. Why should we trust you."
"Why should you trust me is your question? I have done nothing but save you asses over and over again, and you question me? If anything, I should wonder if I trust you guys." I state angrily changing the subject.
"Trust us? Are you being serious?" Damon stated, shocked.
"I mean all I have done while with you guys is get hurt, attacked, or almost killed. And I've only known you guys for a few days! Not to mention you all secretly located my location." I say that last sentence, eyeing Bonnie.
"The only reason we came was because-" Bonnie stated, but I cut her off.
"The only reason you came was because you do not trust me that...you had to track down my...home address." I say, starting to get extremely dizzy. Even forgetting what I was previously saying and I can see them all noticing.
"Are you okay?" Caroline asked, showing concern.
"I'm fine. Just tired, and I'd appreciate it if you could all leave me alone for the night." I state, pointing at the door.
I can tell they all know that I'm not doing well. Even Damon calmed his attitude towards me and started to show concern.
"Okay. We'll leave. Just bring us to the exit." Damon says, trying to get me to stand up.
"You know the way you came in." I state, barely keeping my eyes open.
"He's right. If you feel well, you should have no problem leading us to the door." Bonnie states, and Caroline nods behind her.
"Fine." I state, standing up reluctantly.
I feel my body moving back and forth, but I try to control it to the best of my ability. I finally stand up and make my way to the door. I slowly walk there, so I don't pass out. I reach the doorknob and open the door.
"See, I'm...I'm..."
"Don't say you're fine again. You're obviously not. You need to lie down." I hear Caroline faintly say.
"Maybe we should take her to the doctor. She looks like she needs more than a nap." Bonnie suggests instead. "Or you guys should give her your blood."
"She won't drink it. I tried to when Rose stabbed her, but she refused." Damon stated.
"Well, maybe she just didn't want your containment blood." Caroline states, and I think I hear Damon making another remark.
Before I could understand sentences, but not see anything. Now I can barely see or hear. I can still see them arguing and fighting, but I cannot see a clear picture of them.
Why do I feel so weak. This wasn't Elijah's chokehold. It was something else. But what? I started to feel like this after they came here. What did they bring that would make me feel like this? It wasn't something intentional. Wait. Something protective.
The dagger, the white ash. I haven't fully sensed it for 100 years. When I saw it yesterday, the ash was in a bottle, not out in the open.
I don't have time to analyze further. When I lose consciousness and everything goes dark.
I opened my eyes to realize I had no idea where I was. My head was pounding, and I felt extremely weak. The last time I'd felt like this was when Father had tortured me. Actually, that had been much worse than this. I just felt useless at the moment.
What the hell happened? The last thing I remember was talking with Damon, Bonnie, and Caroline. They came to my house arguing about Elijah...then I blacked out.
I look around to see if I am where I think I am. I look at what I am lying on, and realize it's a hospital bed. I see some nurses outside the window. A tube is connected to my hand. And an oxygen mask is hanging faintly above me. I'm assuming they brought me here.
I haven't been a patient in a hospital in years. How did the white ash have such an effect on me? Maybe I have to get used to the senses again. When I woke up, my magic had cleansed the white ash completely from my body. I was already a little tired today after looking for Nik, so that may have played a factor. But either way, it got me out of that mess.
I can't believe they had the audacity to track me. How did they even track me? Bonnie didn't have my blood to do a locator spell. She's too much of a beginner to do anything else. I mean, unless she had something of mine, which she didn't. -
Oh bloody hell. My jacket I left at the Salvatore's. Those sneaky slime bitches.
"Hey, glad you're awake." I heard someone coming into the room. I turned to see Bonnie.
"Mhmm well, waking up in a hospital wasn't my ideal situation. What am I doing here?"
"You passed out, so we wanted to make sure you were okay." Bonnie stated sweetly.
I cross my arms and say, "It's not the first time I've passed out. I really didn't need to go to the hospital."
"Wait, you also pass out doing spells? So passing out during spells is normal?" Bonnie asks, intrigued, changing the subject. I am taken aback by the question.
"Well no. Passing out while doing a spell most likely means you are doing a spell that is too strong for you. I might of passed out because Elijah forcing me to look for Niklaus, and looking for an original who does not want to be found is extremely tricky." I say explaining the situation. I know I did not pass out from looking for Nik, but looking for him was exhausting.
Bonnie's face dropped, and I noticed it. "Why have you been passing out?"
"Um...no?" Bonnie stated acting innocently and I eyed her. "Okay, yes, but it's fine. The spells I've been doing are protecting my friends, so I'll continue to take the punch if it means they're safe."
"Alright." I tell her. I think she was waiting for me to say something else, but I just recline back in bed.
"Wait that's it?" Bonnie asked, confused, and I just nodded. "No, 'This is too dangerous for you', or 'you are exerting yourself', or 'if you continue, you will get yourself killed'? Nothing?"
"Yeah, pretty much." I say, shrugging my shoulders.
"Well, thank you for trusting me. I know what I'm doing." She says with a small smile.
"Oh, I don't." I state, and Bonnie is taken aback.
"I mean, what you're doing sounds incredibly reckless and it might get you killed."
Bonnie looks at me, trying to understand what I'm going through.
"But because it's for my friends, it's okay?" Bonnie asks hopeful.
"Oh no, that's even more idiotic. But I have no say in what you do. And you're doing these risky spells to help people. Whether what you're helping them with is worth it is debatable... but as long as you're not looking for a dead wish, I think you're fine." I state, shrugging my shoulders.
Bonnie looked confused at me. "So...are you with me?"
"Sure, you can say that." I say with a quick smile.
"Um. Okay. Thanks, I guess..." Bonnie says uncertainly.
I honestly have no right to go against Bonnie's reckless acts because I am just as reckless. The only difference is that I am immortal while she is not. My consequences were not as bad. But I can't exactly say that to her. For now, I'll just keep a watch on her to make sure she doesn't get herself killed.
"I appreciate the company and all, Bonnie, but why are you still here? Shouldn't you have left by now?" I ask confusedly.
"Oh, I did. Then I came back." Bonnie stated, and I continued to stare at her, confused.
"What do you mean 'came back'?" I asked, but then I had a realization. "How long was I out for?"
"Well, since you just woke up...about 11-12 hours?" Bonnie states and I look at her surprised.
"I've been out for 12 hours!" I scream at Bonnie, angrily, and she steps back a few steps.
"Yeah you did. Maybe you wouldn't have if you had my blood, instead of being stubborn and healing that wound yourself." Damon says as he walks into the room. Great. He is also here.
"What the hell are you talking about?" I asked him. My wound had already healed.
"Look down, Sherlock." Damon says, irritated, and I roll my eyes at his attitude.
I look down to my stomach, to see stitches in it. Wait, I healed it. Or it was healing. It should of been healed by this morning actually. But if I have stitches, it means it opened up again.
Did the dagger have such an effect on my magic?
"Though I guess this is good for you." Damon states sitting down in a chair next to the bed.
I sat up and looked at him with an annoyed face.
"Damon, don't." Bonnie states, and I look at her confusedly.
"Why doesn't Bonnie want me to tell her about how I almost killed her?" Damon says, and I look at him shocked.
"What?!" I scream at him, and he just gives me a little smirk.
"Damon!" Bonnie screams at him shortly after.
"Relax. I said 'almost'." Damon tries to plead his case.
"So that makes it better?" I asked, furious.
"Look, let's be honest: you have been acting pretty sketchy." Damon says in a jokingly high-pitched voice.
"Sketchy how exactly? Saving you and your brother from werewolves? Or saving your unrequited love from being eaten by your former lover." I state sarcastically and Damon gives a fake laugh.
"Oh, we have a comedian here, folks. I'm talking about your meeting with Elijah and the fact you magically healed your wounds. Last time I checked, regular witches couldn't heal like that." Damon states as he gets up from his chair.
"But, I told him we could if we used an immense amount of power and most of the time, it probably didn't even work." Bonnie stated, assuring me, but I continued to glare at Damon.
"Exactly. And considering you've pasted out and are in the hospital now, I'm assuming it didn't work. But you could have told me this earlier." Damon leans against the bed again and moves closer to me.
He reaches my chin and starts examining my face. "Would've saved us a lot of time."
I slapped his hand away and he started laughing. "Oh. So because you decided not to kill me, everything is okay?"
"See. Now you got it." Damon says, giving me a quick pat on the leg.
"You know what...I do." I say, with a small smile.
"Glad you came to sense - OWWW!" Damon screams in pain, and Bonnie jumps back from the scream. I smile at him as I give him the biggest aneurism of his life.
"Oh, that's karma for you." Bonnie stated laughing.
"Ha ha very FUNNY." Damon says trying to get through the pain. "Now..make it st-*GRUNT* STOP! MAKE IT STOP!"
"Okay. Once we come to the realization that you will never, I mean never, try to cross me again." I say continuing to give him an aneurism.
"BONNIE! HELP ME!"
"Hmm. Do you hear anything, Kalle?" Bonnie asked me.
"Not a thing." I respond back immediately. "Just sounds of desperation."
"What a sad thing." Bonnie responded back laughing, and I laughed with her.
"Fine! I'll NEVER...cross you EVER-OWW!" Damon try to continue speaking, but his scream keep cutting him off. "Again..."
I stop my aneurism and Damon body drops on the bed.
"See, now wasn't it so simple?" I say in a mocking tone.
"Demon child.." Damon muttered.
"Oh, thank you!" I say with a happy voice and watch as Damon tries to regain control of his body again.
"Okay, well this was fun and all, but I hate hospitals so can we go?" I ask, finally getting out of bed. I take off the tubes attached to me.
"Yeah, but have to check out first. And the doctors haven't even looked at you." Bonnie states.
"You could just drink my blood, and you'll be good as new." Damon says, getting up from the bed.
"I'm fine." I say with a fake smile.
"Are you still keeping secrets?" Damon asks suspiciously.
"Want another aneurysm attack?" I say with an innocent face.
"Can y'all please stop fighting." Bonnie says exhausted. "Look, Damon just compel the nurses to let her leave."
Damon steps closer to Bonnie, where she is almost right under him.
"Why should I help the person who just abused me?" Damon asks curiously, and I just roll my eyes.
"Because you need her."
"Yeah, Damon. You need me." I state mockingly, and he does a fake laugh. "Just to be clear, what do you need me for?"
Damon moves away from Bonnie, and draws nearer to me.
"We need your help to dagger Elijah."
Dagger, Elijah...my brother.
My face stays neutral in the situation, but in my head I am screaming at the top of my lungs.
