Rain pours on the unified city that is still suffering the aftereffects of the dimensional fusion. The supervillains that were attacking the city retreated, but if the breakout at the local prison isn't resolved soon, then the problem will be revived a hundred times worse. Luckily, several heroes are on their way to deal with it in an Atlesian Manta airship. Jin Kazama and the Dimensional Avengers. Receiving an incoming message from Director Nick Fury through a monitor.

'Heads up, people! This is Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. I've called you here because we have a…bit of a situation.' Nick Fury starts the briefing by switching from his image to live coverage the maximum security prison. 'As we speak, the supervillain prison known as The Raft is under attack by agents of Hydra.' He said, whilst the monitor shows footage of Hydra Agents overwhelming SHIELD forces. 'Several prisoners have already escaped their cells. Level 7 threats…like Magneto…' The Master of Magnetism is seen using his mutant powers to magnetize human scum. 'Klaw…' The Master of Sound destroying eardrums with his arm weapon. 'Rhino…' Who is stampeding through guards hornfirst. 'Morbius the Living Vampire.' As he takes a frightening bite on a guard's neck. 'Some have even escaped the island.' Which is evident by Hydra Agents having boats ready for the superpowered escapees. 'SHIELD has agents on site, but we need your help. Get to The Raft, and do what you can.' He ordered, just as the Manta nears its island destination, 'Good luck.'

BGM-Marvel's Spider-Man OST-The Sinister Six

Prison Raft Island. The United Heroes are still unaware of the dimensional fusion that merged their universes and are arriving at the merged location between The Raft of Earth and Prison Island of Mobius. A large jungle island holding the original Raft complex that has plant life on many of its structures. The Manta descends onto a landing pad at the island, opening its hatch for the Dimensional Avengers to walk out from and glance at this hybrid prison.

"Oof. The Raft have seen better days." Spider-Man commented.

"Reminds me of how Prison Island ended up. That place is nothing more than a toxic waste dump." Amy remarked.

"Terrible. Is that a jungle I see over there? Must be new this month." The quippy Spidey noticed.

"Enough jokes. We need to get this place under control." Jin sternly scolded his teammates.

"Who violated your cornflakes this morning?" Yang teased.

"…I don't eat cornflakes." Jin responded stoically.

Just as they start proceeding through a glass tunnel that'll lead them straight into the prison, a massive earthquake from inside causes the Dimensional Avengers to stumble for a startling moment. "Sounds like a madhouse in there! Place is DEFINITELY not secure!" Knuckles frowned.

"Maybe it's not as bad as it looks." Palutena remarked hopefully.

"Love the optimism. But in my experience…when it looks bad…it's usually worse." Spidey refuted. Just as his Spider-Sense alerts him to incoming trouble from a nearby rooftop. It's Viper, the Madame Hydra leading this breakout, sporting a menacing smile and wielding a rocket launcher targeting the heroes. "LOOK OUT!" He shouted urgently.

Viper then fires her rocket at the glass tunnel, blowing it up while causing the heroes to fall onto another path. They get back up in a hurry, especially after hearing a large menace rampaging through doors and walls alike toward their area. "HERE COMES THE JUGGERNAUT!" yelled by the Unstoppable Juggernaut. All heroes either jump, swing, or fly away from his ramming rampage before evading the countless pumpkin bombs thrown by the Hobgoblin. They reached safety, or so they thought once they were caught in midair out of nowhere by the Gravity Ruler, Graviton. With a sinister chuckle, he increases the gravity on them all with crushing force to smash them through multiple walls of the prison before he makes his getaway.

Fortunately it'll take more than a few surprises to keep the Dimensional Avengers down. Weiss's own gravity glyphs softened their crash into the prison, though Pit still sasses about it, "That could've started off better…"

"Is everyone alright?" Ruby asked the team.

"Yeah." X nodded.

BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST- This Way Out ...Prison Lane

Then out of nowhere comes a mystic force crashing before the startled united heroes. He reveals himself to be an ugly troll dressed as a warlock, having a lobster-like claw for a left hand yet still has intimidating red eyes that glares mostly at Sonic the Hedgehog. The mysterious Troll Wizard laughs, "Well, if it isn't the Quickster and his friends. How nice to hope that you rot in prison as I have!", before casting lightning magic to short-circuit all the cells in the room and making his exit from the island.

"Looks like we made parole, boys!" A Prisoner smiled, embracing freedom alongside his fellow prisoners that range in the dozens.

"Walter Naugus? So even prisoners from our own worlds are breaking out." Sonic recognized that troll wizard as Walter Naugus, another enemy of his that wants world domination.

"I'll head for the main control center and reactivate security. Without it, we're working blind." Tails declared to his teammates.

"Got it. We'll give you an opening." Spider-Man acknowledged.

A superpowered prisoner runs up with a punch thrown at Spidey that he easily blocks, keeping him in place for Sonic to strike down with a flying kick. More prisoners clash with the heroes that are buying time for Sonic and Spidey's Crossover Combination attack: The Web Wrecking Ball. The Webslinger attaches a webline on the curled-up hedgehog and uses him as a hyperfast wrecking ball that sweeps the environment, slings the hedgehog in front of him a few times, with the last slamming hit dealing knockback on all enemies blocking their path.

"Go!" Spidey shouts at Tails to proceed to the main control center. Then he glances at Ruby, Weiss, Jin, and Pit with an order, "You four, back him up!", which is acknowledged by them running ahead. Next to receive a task is the group consisting of Sonic, Palutena, Yang, Knuckles, and Lucina as Spidey tells them, "I want you guys locking down cell block alpha! Prevent as many crooks as you can from escaping!" Once Sonic's group is gone, the only ones left with Spidey are Blake, Amy, and X. "Rest of us are heading for the maintenance wing to restore power! We can do this, people!" He rallied his own group.

"Lead the way!" X retorted, ready to save the Raft.

Three squads for three missions that are necessary to stop this breakout. This won't be easy as there are supervillains everywhere spreading the chaos. Like the energy creature called Zzzax yelling, "I NEED A JOLT!", while draining generators dry of power before escaping the island.

"Everyone just quietly go back into your cell and lock the door behind you! Okay?" Spider-Man joked, chaining his Web Strikes on numerous prisoners while leading his squad toward a skirmish between SHIELD and Hydra.

"Eat dirt, Hydra!" A SHIELD Agent roared, shooting down several terrorists before one throws a grenade that kills a few agents.

Then the Spidey Squad arrives to help, boosting the morale of the SHIELD Agents. "Heroes have arrived! You snakes are in trouble now!" Another SHIELD Agent expressed cockily.

"We ain't afraid of some brats!" A Hydra Soldier arrogantly claimed.

"Gonna make you regret that!" Amy quipped while preparing for the Shadow Tornado combo with Blake. After deflecting enough bullets with her blade, the faunus huntress uses her Shadow Semblance to create an ice clone of herself for Amy to tornado with a powerful swing of her Piko Piko Hammer. The tornadoed clone smashes into the Hydra horde, freezing them and making it cooler to take them down.

"Surrender, Hydra! Tell us why you caused this breakout! You put yourselves and countless others at risk!" X said, clashing his Buster shots with their bullets.

"Exactly! In the end it'll be Hydra that rules this world. We will do whatever is necessary to see our dream come to life." A Hydra Armored Guard retorted, nearly distracting the reploid from being sniped by a sniper.

"That include causing that massive dimensional distortion?" Blake interrogated, thinking Hydra caused the dimensional fusion.

"A coincidence. Wasn't our fault, but we sure as hell appreciated the assist." The Hydra Armored Guard replied honestly, whilst his sniper is defeated by X.

"Shame it's long gone to not help you break out of this prison." Spidey quipped alongside delivering a Web Swing Kick that knocks the guard into a cell and webbing him to prevent his escape. He then turns to a SHIELD Agent asking, "We any closer to the main power grid?"

"Don't know. The distortion relocated it. It's like the whole Raft has been remodeled." The SHIELD Agent answered.

"Terrific." Spidey said sarcastically, tapping into the comms to speak with Tails, "Better get those security cameras back online, Tails."

'We're nearly there. Give us another minute.' Tails retorted.

'How's the other team doing?' Weiss asked about Sonic's squad.

Things are looking like a disaster at cell block alpha. Unauthorized access has been detected in a chamber that was built specifically to contain a certain red symbiote within a stasis bubble. The prisoner responsible is the psychopath Cletus Kasady, who releases then bonds with the symbiote to be reborn as the chaotic Carnage that cackles, "RRAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!", before murdering every guard blocking his path to freedom. Sonic noticed his escape and wants to stop him, but being thrown onto a wall by a freed Whiplash made that task impossible.

"We're holding our own!" Sonic responded to Weiss with grunting annoyance, right before knocking down the supercriminal with a Spin Dash.

Grim Reaper. Grey Gargoyle. The U-Foes. The Sonic Squad is surrounded by so many supervillains that are making it extremely difficult to lock down the cell blocks so more won't break out and cause them problems. Palutena fends off as many villains as she can with just her staff, being stylish about it and complaining, "From a god's perspective, imprisoning so many supervillains in one place not too far from a heavily populated city that loves getting attacked every week was a very DUMB idea!", right as she uses Rocket Jump to blow away both Lion God and King Cobra that were rushing at her from opposite sides.

"That is now in the past! We must fight for the future!" Lucina retorted, in the midst of locking blades with Baron Zemo.

"You're adorable." Palutena quipped, before being punched by Radioactive Man.

The odds quickly even up thanks to Knuckles and Yang combining powers for their Flaming Fury Crossover Combination. The echidna strikes first with a dashing punch, followed up by both him and the huntress launching a simultaneous flaming uppercut to the enemy horde. As they fall to Knuckles's sights, he launches a volcanic explosion-causing punch to the ground that spews out fireballs, stunning them for Yang to smash them with a similar technique. Yang was on the verge of finishing their combo until countless nameless Prisoners suddenly dogpile her. "Gonna let those weaklings ruin our combo?" Knuckles taunted his teammate, which helped her burst free using her explosive Burn Semblance and finally deliver the devastatingly dashing punch that knocks out several supervillains. Most that nearly fall on the startled Knuckles. "HEY! Watch where you're knocking them!" He angrily shouted at her.

"Sorry. You're just so tiny and targetable." Yang teases her echidna rival.

"You need glasses!" Knuckles snapped back.

"Sonic, go! That machine looks to be the one that'll lock down the cell blocks!" Lucina ordered after defeating Zemo, spotting the terminal that control the cell blocks.

"Usually I leave the tech stuff to the science bros." Sonic joked, performing some hardcore parkour to avoid enemies and attacks alike until he reaches the terminal. The lockdown procedure doesn't look too complex. Regardless, the Blue Blur speeds through the activation sequence and manages to keep the rest of the cells locked up tight. "There. That wasn't so hard." He smiled proudly.

But just then, Palutena widens in shock at a deadly attack launched at the unsuspecting hedgehog. "Look out!" She shouted, casting a Reflect Barrier to defend him from the summoned swords of Nu-13, who is also free thanks to the breakout.

"It's you! That weird robo-girl that A.I.M. summoned from another dimension." Sonic confronted his latest dimensional enemy.

"My designation is Nu-13. Massive dimensional anomaly detected. The Master's location: Unknown. ETA: Indefinite. Receiving new mission data. Current objective: Escape." Nu-13 said emotionlessly yet cryptic enough to confuse the hedgehog.

"What are you talking about?" Sonic asked, but receives no response as Nu was quick to fly away. "Hey!" He shouted, and would've pursued her if Whirlwind's winds didn't stop him, much to his annoyance. "Great. Looks like we'll have to track her down later. What's the hold up with the security?" He asked Ruby's team through the comlink.

Ruby can't respond at the moment as she's too busy being rammed through walls by a mysterious monster. She is thrown into the Security Hall, where she struggles to stand up against a black yeti-like creature that has Grimm characteristics and loves roaring, "ROOOOOOAAAAAARRR!", down at her. It swipes its claw only for Ruby to jump and retaliate with a scythe swing that it blocks before repelling her with its other brutal claw. Jin comes to her assist with a Leaping Side Kick that staggers the beast in time for Weiss to entrap it between dense ice spikes summoned from her glyph. But the cursed monster is stronger than they thought, using its Hulk-like strength alone to burst free and endure Pit's Blade shots before charging through all three heroes at once.

"Sorry! We're being held up by some kind of…Wendigo monster!" Tails then flies into the scene responding to Sonic's earlier question, using his Miles Electric handheld to identify the beast.

'A Wendigo? I hate fighting those things!' Spidey commented, knowing what Wendigos are and what they are capable of.

"But this one looks Grimm-like. Never heard of this kind of Grimm existing in Remnant." Ruby said, with her slash being dodged by the Wendigo Grimm.

"What should we call it? I'm thinking 'Wendigrimm'." Pit joked, using his Needle Palm weapon to fire needles that burrow into the monster's eyes and painfully blind it.

"Clever." Weiss sassed. "This is a new Grimm altogether. Brought from another dimension by the distortions?" She wondered, this time using her ice to freezes its legs.

"I don't think so. Scans read its energy readings are all…mixed together. Like it's native to both Earth and Remnant. It's neither a Wendigo nor a Grimm. It's something else entirely!" Tails discovered, much to his shocking confusion.

"Like Ultron Sigma?" Jin compared, starting to realize the Wendigrimm is a merged monster. "Whatever the case, we need to stop it now." He declared while racing toward the black beast that is on the verge of breaking free from the ice. By empowering himself with lightning, the Iron Fist Warrior stuns the monster that was about to rampage by striking its face with a high straight punch. Then he unleashes several superfast punches before knocking it away with a devastating straight thrust. "Pit!" Jin then shouted at him to follow up.

"You're finished!" Pit complied by uppercutting their mutual foe with his Upperdash Arm before raining down enough arrows that smash the Wendigrimm to its devastating defeat. "Oh yeah! The Cross Smash between angel and devil! Nothing's cooler than that!" He declared victoriously, happy to have made a combo with his new friend.

"Don't take pride in that." Jin responded coldheartedly, hating for his Devil Gene to be praised.

"Over here!" Tails shouted at his group to follow him to the computer room that operates security.

BGM-Transformers: Devastation OST-Operation Obliteration

The Ruby Squad completed their mission as they watch Tails does his smart stuff on the computer. Within moments, he reactivated the security system. They have eyes and ears inside the facility again. "Okay, I got the security cameras back online." Tails informed the other squads.

'Point us in the right direction to the main power grid. We'll handle the rest.' Spidey ordered.

"Got it, but, Spidey, this is bad. It looks like the entire population of the Raft has escaped." Tails noticed through the cameras. But what he really finds perplexing is what he discovered from looking through the prison's data, "And…Wait a minute…This doesn't look right…How did this happen?"

"What's wrong?" Ruby asked him.

"All of Prison Island's data is in here. Reorganized with the Raft's the same way that Wendigrimm was. The entire infrastructure of the island has been completely revamped, infused with elements from both prisons." Tails explained, basically saying the two islands merged.

"I thought stuff from other dimensions were dumped into this one. Just how badly did that distortion warp reality?" Weiss questioned.

"Nicole said the walls between worlds were destroyed and our three worlds collided. But in what way…?" Tails muses over this for a moment before asking, "Dr. Light. What is the current status of the worlds that were affected by the distortion?"

'The data that I have collected has left me dumbfounded. But from what I can describe…' Dr. Light pause, before slipping into a grim tone without hesitation on what he's about to claim next, 'Your worlds no longer exist in the form you knew them as.'

Ruby's reaction is simple. "Wha…What does that supposed to mean? What…happened to our worlds?" She asked for clarification with a look crossed with horror and confusion. A look shared with her comrades beside her as all of them are closing in on the realization of the dimensional fusion.

Meanwhile in Prison 42…

"Yup. He's long gone." Qrow Branwen said.

He, Sally Acorn, and Scarlet Spider are among the dimensional heroes tasked to stop the breakout in the Negative Zone prison. More importantly, to prevent the evil father of Harry Osborn from running amok. Unfortunately they were too late. The three stand before his destroyed cell surrounded by the corpses of SHIELD Agent he had a delight in burning.

"Green Goblin. One of the most dangerous criminals to have ever threatened the multiverse is back on the loose. And we have no clue on his whereabouts." Sally frowned.

"Dammit. Was hoping to face him here and now. That bastard caused me a lot of trouble and I've been itching for revenge." Scarlet Spider snarled, having personal history with the monster that tormented his brothers.

"Revenge is never healthy, but I swear to you that we WILL bring Goblin to justice for everything's done. We just need to figure out his plan." Sally promised him.

"Knowing Osborn, he's thinking revenge too on everyone that he thinks wronged him." Scarlet claimed.

"That's a big list. If he's smart, he'll go into hiding." Qrow commented.

"He'll go after Spider-Man." Scarlet grimly proclaimed to the two. "Those two have been bitter enemies for years. Spider-Man is the reason he spent months rotting in this dimensional prison after stopping his Goblin Nation. Goblin's a lunatic and must be fuming right now. And with the world in chaos, this is the perfect chance for him to strike." He elaborated.

"Then we need to provide backup." Sally declared, now convinced of Goblin's revenge plot.

BGM-Shadow the Hedgehog OST-Shadow Incoming

That task will have to be put on hold as the trio are suddenly forced to avoid the freed Blastaar's bombardment of force blasts. "No time! Nicole, send out a warning to the Dimensional Avengers!" Qrow ordered, hiding behind cover.

'Already on it!' Nicole acknowledged.

Meanwhile, Scarlet Spider's incredible acrobatics helps him evade all of the alien's blasts before webbing his face. Then he delivers a devastating web-zipping punch that smashes the guy through a wall, landing before his two allies and coldly telling their shared foe, "You picked the worst time to fight me.", before unsheathing and igniting his stingers, "Nothing's gonna stop me from destroying Osborn!", and leading the charge in combating Blastaar and soon securing Prison 42.

Back at the Prison Raft…

Hydra Agents were at peace guarding the controls to the main power grid of the entire facility. That instantly erupted into panic once Spider-Man's squad barge into the room with the same mission to retake control of the prison. The entire squadron fire at the four heroes, who stand casually within X's charged Rolling Shield for protection. "Guys, stop, we gotta talk this through." Spider-Man said casually. Blake then projects a simple shadow clone to disarm the soldiers before Spidey jumps over and webs them all into a large ball that Amy hammers into a wall, sticking them there. "It was a good talk." Spidey joked.

"No it wasn't." A Hydra Agent retorted.

Opposition is done. It's time for the heroes to sit back and watch Spider-Man interact with the grid and salvage the Prison Raft. "We made it to the main power grid. Spider-Man is reactivating it right now." X informed his other teammates through the comms.

'Good. The rest of us are helping SHIELD capture the remaining villains that are still on the island.' Ruby responded.

The Spider-Scientist worked his magic on the console as it didn't take long for him to restore the main power grid. "There. Power's back online. About to join you guys in a minute." Spidey informed his team.

But just as he walks away, Spidey receives an emergency contact from Nicole. 'Nicole to Dimensional Avengers, come in! Can you read me?' She asked urgently.

"Spider-Man here. What's wrong?" Spidey answered.

'It's an emergency! You're suspected to have trouble heading your way right now! Someone with a massive vendetta against you!' Nicole informed him.

"A lot of people hate me. Who is it? Jameson?" Spidey quipped.

BGM-Transformers: Devastation OST-Blitzwing

Nicole was going to reveal the identity of their mystery enemy when, out of nowhere, several imposing fireballs are hurled at Spidey's group at terrifying speeds. The ambush was so violently explosive that it sent the four heroes flying across the island, out of the Prison Raft and crashlanding onto Metal Harbor, both a G.U.N. and now S.H.I.E.L.D. outpost on the ocean. It gets worse. Just before the heroes struggle to even get a knee up, they hear a furious roar from the distance, "EEERRRRAAAAARRRGH!" All of a sudden, the frightening Green Goblin lands before the shocked heroes and simply proclaims his scowling intentions, "KILL YOU!"

"Ah great." Spidey joked, casually realizing it is his old nemesis that has escaped from prison for revenge.

Both fists are raised high as Green Goblin uses them to slam the metal ground with vicious fury, unleashing a massive flaming shockwave that the heroes just barely evade from. "It's official. My day couldn't get any worse…" Spidey joked, evading his foe's rampaging fireballs until he webs his face. X attacks him with his Buster and infuriates Goblin into bursting out a flaming aura that shields him from all attacks, then smashes the reploid away with a brutal punch and does the same to Amy when she fails to hammer him.

"Blake to team, we have an emergency! Green Goblin is BACK and is really angry and is trying to kill us! We're outside, at some sort of Metal Harbor!" Blake urgently calls for backup against the monster that is already dominating them.

'Osborn…?' Weiss gasped in horror, as it was only yesterday when she mocked his imprisonment.

'Darn it! We have baddies holding us up on our end! We'll get to you as soon as possible!' Knuckles retorted.

Blake wastes no time buying time for reinforcements by firing her pistol at Goblin. Again, attacks mean little to his fire aura. They just enrage him into lunging at the faunus, who escapes his wrath via a clone. Just for a split second as Goblin easily predicts her movement and delivers a teeth-cracking punch to her cheek that sends her skipping across the shipping yard for more punishment that would've come if Spidey didn't save her by web-throwing the villain away.

"Did not miss you, Gobby. How ya been? Did you enjoy your vacation?" Spidey mocked him.

"RRRRRAAAAA!" Goblin roared, furiously throwing a fireball that misses the webhead but does blow up an aircraft carrier.

"Take it that you didn't like it. Surprising since that was a five-star prison you were locked up in for months free of charge. You got three meals a day. Why would you ever leave that?" Spidey joked, swinging around his increasingly enraged nemesis.

"Shut your DAMN mouth for ONCE! You know EXACTLY why I'm pissed off!" Goblin snapped, leaping and clawing the hero's webline and watch him land safely on a building.

"Recap for me. It has been a few months." Spidey quipped.

"You dismantled my Goblin Nation! Destroyed my Universal Seed that almost gave birth to my new universe! I was on the cusp of becoming a GOD and you just had to ruin EVERYTHING AGAIN!" Goblin vented, recalling his last fight with Spider-Man that determined the fate of the multiverse.

"Hey, I'm a superhero, remember?" Spidey snarked.

Further enraged, Goblin lunges at his rival with an all-powerful flaming smash attack that levels the building but again misses his target. In actuality, this was all part of Spidey's plan to exhaust him of his flaming aura so he can finally land some pummeling hits. The full force of his Spider-Fu unleashed, clobbering nerve clusters and pressure points alike only a human spider could before landing an awesome-looking, web-zipping kick across his face. But surprisingly, that was nowhere near enough to put down the Goblin. His unstable rage intensifies, rebuilding his blaze to pulverize Parker across the battlefield with devastating haymakers. "Why can't you just leave me alone?!" He angrily shouted, nearly smashing his nemesis to the ground if it wasn't for a surprise blast from X's Splash Laser dousing his flames.

"You have some nerve! YOU'RE the one that came here looking for a fight! And we're more than happy to send you back to your cell!" X scowled.

Both Amy and Blake then rush at Goblin at stern speeds for a combo, leaping left and right from his fireballs until X protects them by firing Buster shots that nullify his flames in a gorgeous display. As the girls near, Goblin is crippled by Spidey striking his leg, allowing Blake to assault him with numerous sword slashes before dodging his claw swipe and allowing Amy to uppercut the villain into the air for Spidey to bring down with an amazing web-slam. This infuriates Osborn into evolving into another power. One he unlocked during his failed conquest of Remnant. From a furious, "RAAAAAAARGH!", a green "X" symbol projects from his body before it is shrouded by a devilish aura of a similar color.

"A X-Aura?!" Amy commented in shock as she recognizes that power.

"Right. Forgot I'm not special with that. A metahuman soul infused with ISO-8 that can tap into the energies of two worlds. And when used by that maniac…" Spidey described, right before the Cross-powered Goblin performs an overwhelming thunderclap that sends all four heroes flying off the harbor and crash into the ocean itself.

X-Aura Goblin laughs at his brief victory over the heroes but knows they'll return soon to endure another beating. Sooner than expected however, he is headshotted by a sniper that was only good enough to irritate him. He turns to see Ruby with her Crescent Rose atop a rooftop, lowering her weapon and glaring at the madman that once tortured her world. "You!" Goblin coldly snarls at the girl that assisted in his previous defeat. Joining her is the rest of her squad, as the likes of Tails, Weiss, Jin, and Pit blitz him one by one from different directions before surrounding him for the second round. "And you." He then exchange threatening glares with the Schnee heiress among them, reminding her of their last talk, "Don't think I haven't forgotten about my promise."

"I haven't." Weiss retorted chillingly.

In an instant, the Ice Queen erupts piercing ice spikes beneath Goblin's former position as he jumped into the air to hurl down an explosive fireball that scatters all five heroes present. Goblin skydives through Weiss's ice shard barrage with his fire shield, failing to crash onto her but does land a roundhouse punch that she softens with a hard-light barrier so she won't be sent far back. "You don't deserve Harry! The Schnees do not deserve their company nor their lives!" He angrily claimed.

"I am not taking crap from the failed businessman that KILLED his own son!" Weiss snapped back, whilst using her Semblance to summon her signature Arma Gigas to assist her in battle.

"An accident!" Goblin retorted, trading fearsome blows with the Gigas that manages to land a painful mark on his cheek. "I'll treat him in far more torturous ways once I steal my company back from his miserable hands!" He threatened while murdering her summon, punching a hole through its chest before decapitating it with its own sword. Then uses the same sword to briefly lock with and obliterate her massive ice sword, knocking her down so his foot could repeatedly and ruthlessly stomp on her face. "I'll start by showing him a video of me murdering his girlfriend!" He said with a malicious smile.

"THIS IS THE LAST TIME YOU HURT MY FRIENDS!" Ruby yelled vengefully to catch his attention.

Ruby taps into her Semblance to burst into petals that all dash through an ineffective swipe from Goblin. She then appears behind him, having moved so fast that her multiple delayed slashes are affecting him severely. Her assault didn't end there. She kept the pressure up, refusing to give him a chance to react until he does find his tiny window of opportunity. "No motherless brat will tell the Goblin King what to do!" Goblin insulted, instantly bursting out numerous fireballs that force the huntress to quit her rampage. "A huntress? Don't make me laugh! I see you're still playing at being a hero!" He mocked her dream.

"I helped beat you before, Osborn, and I will do it again!" Ruby scowled before rushing at him again, only this time he has adapted to her tricks and simply slap the scythe out of her hands.

"Last time I underestimated those silly eyes of yours! Not this time." Goblin recalled her Silver Eyes having an effect on his Grimm DNA that he accidently acquired during his time in Remnant. To prevent that from happening again, he grabs the little huntress by her face and lifts her up as his hand is prepared to cook her eyes. "Prepare for fire eye surgery!" He then cackles, igniting his hand to burn Ruby alive.

"AAARRGH! AAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Ruby yelled in great agony.

Her torment didn't last long fortunately, thanks to the quick assistance of Pit slashing Osborn's arm and Tails spindashing him away. Their combined efforts freed Ruby from his grasp, weak as she is asked by Tails, "Ruby, are you okay?"

"Yeah…If it wasn't for my aura, I'd be as blind as a bat…" Ruby responded, tending to her pained eyes.

BGM End

Right now it is just Jin fighting Green Goblin. The Zaibatsu head holds his own, knocking back the green menace with a kick that intrigues him more than anything. "You're a serious one. You don't seem to be from any of their worlds." Goblin noted, deducing Jin to be from another Earth.

"No. But I see this world has too suffered devils disguised as lousy fathers." Jin glared.

"Sounds like you speak from experience." Goblin grinned, realizing the martial artist has an evil father of his own, "But there is no greater devil than that of the Green Goblin!"

"We'll see about that." Jin snarked, striking into a fighting stance that is energized by a dark power.

BGM-Tekken 5 OST-Moonlit Wilderness

Tattoos and a demonic third eye appear on Jin's forehead that left Green Goblin shook as he's about to witness the power of the Devil Gene. Jet-black wings sprout from his back right as the transformed Devil Jin darts at his target with a Lightning Uppercut that sends his butt flying over Metal Harbor. The Devil Gene was always difficult for Jin to control. But thanks to his training with the X-Men, he has mastered it somewhat, enough to give him an edge over his X-Aura. Devil Jin pummels Goblin across the sky with aggressive Mishima-style attacks before smacking him onto a missile site. Norman gets up as quickly as him grabbing the approaching Jin's face to smash onto the nearby computer console, which accidently activates the missile. 'MISSILE LAUNCH IN 13 SECONDS.' The A.I. System announced. Goblin chuckles at this, thinking of using it to kill this devil. He distracts Jin by climbing the site and countering his lasers with fireballs while the numbers count down, '…10. 9. 8. 7. 6. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1.' Between the seconds, Goblin manage to smack Kazama all the way down to the missile's exhausts that are about to ignite. 'FIRE!' The exhausts overwhelm the young devil and seem to burn him alive, flying the missile that Goblin is having a good time riding. But to his horror, he caught that red blur flying past him and watches as the unscathed Devil Jin charge up his Devil Beam.

"DIE!" Devil Jin shouted, unleashing the powerful beam from his third eye and striking Goblin with enough force to also blow up the missile. "You lose." He then claimed, hovering over the massive smokescreen and presumably Osborn's remains.

But it is foolish to underestimate the Green Goblin. His intimidating glowy-eyed silhouette can be seen within the smoke by Devil Jin's shocked face. A massive gust of wind disperses the smoke in an instant, right as Goblin rockets for the young man as an evolved winged terror that crosses his original appearance with the black-skinned characteristics of the Grimm, complete with both a white skull mask and a hat that resembles his classic design. "AAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" cackled by Devil Goblin, his Grimmified transformation because of the crossing between his Goblin Formula and Grimm DNA.

It's now Devil vs. Devil, with Goblin regaining the brutal advantage. A single mighty fire blast slams Devil Jin into Green Forest that Goblin immediately sets ablaze with his roaring breath. Ruby's group lay defeated for now, prompting a familiar Blue Blur to tag in and blitz the villain multiple times with an irritating Light Speed Attack. "NOW what?!" Devil Goblin exasperated.

The Blue Blur jumps on a peak, revealing himself to be Sonic joined by the rest of his late party. "Us! Should've sent the invites early." Sonic taunted his winged foe with a finger wag.

Maliciously, Devil Goblin smiles, "The hedgehog. Now this party can REALLY begin!", before raising up his hand to shower them with fireballs. Everyone but Palutena flee to give her room to project a large Reflect Barrier that returns the flames back to his face, causing him to plummet and be rammed through the burning jungle by the furious punches of Knuckles and Yang. His fearsome wings soon smack the brawlers out of his sight and barely protect him from Palutena's Autoreticle blasts, forcing her aback with his fire breath but then she goads him into a chase with white wings sprouting from her back. The Light Goddess stays ahead in the race, managing to avoid his fireballs until Sonic lands on his back and hijack his wings in order to force him into crashing through the numerous hazards of this Zone. This strategy didn't last long as Goblin shakes him off to punch him onto the goddess, knocking them both down and would've burned them alive with his breath if Lucina didn't cut through his flames with Falchion so she may slash his black wing clean off and cause him to fall.

"Demon King of Legend! In the name of all the worlds you tortured, let this day be the final time you draw breath!" Lucina threatened determinedly.

"Funny girl. Didn't you get the memo? I'm IMMORTAL!" Devil Goblin expressed by regrowing his wing. "My time in Remnant unlocked my Semblance! Gifted me the power to evolve and adapt against ANYTHING! Nothing can stop me now! NOTHING!" He claimed with all the arrogance from his dark soul.

"Except the embarrassment of being played." quipped Spider-Man, finally returning to the battle alongside the rest of his group and Ruby's group.

"You again?!" Goblin exasperated, growing ever so tired of his nemesis's teasing presence.

"You were USED, Norman! From the very beginning!" Spidey proclaimed.

"What are you babbling about?" Goblin demanded for elaboration.

"Doctor Doom. He was the one behind everything. HE caused The Pulse, spreading ISO-8 and triggering the Incursions you so proudly claimed to be your achievement. He treated your 'big plan' with the Universal Seed as nothing more than a failed experiment that he learned from in time for his own dimensional conquest." Spidey explained, briefing his rival on recent revelations.

"He became stronger because your ego blinded you, Goblin. Fooled you into being a pawn that outlived his usefulness." Ruby mocked him.

"Out, am I?!" Goblin's eye twitch with seething rage that he can't contain a second longer. His fury erupts like a volcano, roaring to the heavens, "NOOOOOOOOO!", while unleashing a fiery explosion that forces the Dimensional Avengers to dodge. "So THAT'S why he rejected my offer to join The Cabal! Does he know how much I've sacrificed?! That treacherous, sneaky, metal-masked BASTARD! I will BURN Latveria! BURN IT ALL TO THE GROUND! After I burn all of YOUUUUUUUU!" He declared vengeance, now completely consumed by rage and hatred for everyone everywhere.

"Not this time!" Yang shouted while rushing at him with a new power she mastered during the Wisp adventure. Her eyes glow blue. Her fists and hair infused with azure flames. The brawling huntress taps into her own Cross Power that rivals X-Aura. Through her Resonance Blaze state, Yang strikes Devil Goblin with a fatal leaping axe kick, saying, "You still have to pay for messing up my arm! For hurting my friends and family and my world!", and clobbering him with a flurry of punches and hooks. Then she jumps high into the air to both declare, "And for what you did to Gwen Stacy!", and devastate him with a final fiery earthbound punch.

"The hell? You never even met her!" The confused Goblin remarked.

"Little Me did!" Yang confuses him even more by recalling her Past Self befriending Stacy during the recent Time Eater incident.

BGM End

Devil Goblin looks to be reaching his limit and Spider-Man has grown tired of seeing his nemesis still standing. Recklessly, he rushes at him with a flying kick declaring, "This needs to stop right-!", and finds himself interrupted by Goblin catching and slamming him. The mutated criminal then flies way high into the sky, above Green Forest laughing before hurling him down like a meteorite that plants his back on the ground with pain too great for words or yells.

"Spidey! Are you okay?" Blake shouted, frantically rushing to his aid alongside the other Dimensional Avengers.

"Ughhhh…I have now officially run out of ways to say 'ow'…" Spidey weakly quipped.

"This guy is too much! How do we beat someone that is immortal?!" Pit expressed, frightened by Goblin's seemingly endless power.

"He's not THAT immortal. But it will be difficult to exploit his weakness." Palutena calmed her angel with a hint that'll seal their victory.

"Weakness?" The curious Devil Jin questioned.

"She's right…" Spidey said, with his friends helping him to stand once more as he briefs them on Osborn's power, "I've been studying his power after our last big fight. His messed-up DNA combined with his Semblance transformed his body into pure energy. It's made by converting the negative energies collected from his surroundings. He's a Grimm in human form! Or I guess goblin form. Nonetheless, as long as he doesn't run out of that energy, he can keep regenerating while also growing stronger."

"And with the world in chaos, he must be feasting." Sonic commented.

"Then we just have to keep killing him until that energy runs out." Lucina realized what their decisive plan is.

"We need to hit him hard and quick. Go all-out, together. Starting with you giving him your best glare." Spidey suggested, looking at Ruby to let her know that her Silver Eyes are the key in beating Devil Goblin.

"Got it." Ruby nodded grimly.

"GRAAAAAAR!" That loud roar was the signal to end this battle strategy as the Dimensional Avengers stare at Devil Goblin landing before them in a terrifying stance. "And now…THIS ENDS!" He declared scowlingly.

"I agree. …What is this again?" Spidey quipped, leading his team into striking their own fighting stances against their enemy.

"Enough with the jokes! I've been like a father to you, boy! WHY can't you EVER be a son to me?!" Goblin vented.

"I have a father! His name was Ben Parker!" Spidey retorted.

"Then go rot with him in hell!" Goblin threatened, which struck a raging nerve within Peter. "It is time for you and your friends to DIE! MJ! Your Aunt! Harry! ALL OF YOUR DIMENSIONS WILL BE BURNED BY YOUR FAILURES!" He proclaims while rushing at his arch-nemesis to deliver to his face the ultimate killing flaming punch.

BGM-Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 OST-Fate of Two Worlds

Yet in a spectacular display of strength that horrifies even the Devil Goblin, Spider-Man caught his punch with just one hand. Threatening his loved ones has pushed him to unleash his full power through his own X-Aura. A silky bluish-white aura wraps around the enraged Webslinger retorting to his threats, "NO ONE DIES! It's over, Osborn! You're going down!", before uppercutting him far back. "RUBY!" He then shouted at her to unleash her Silver Eyes at full force. Her divine light surprising Osborn, harming him from the inside out as he's struggling to keep his devil form stable. "NOW! Astral Heat!" He shouted out their Crossover Combination, gesturing his whole team to strike Goblin while he's weak.

Amy attacks first, smashing her hammer at full force right into Devil Goblin's face to send him flying. Briefly, before his flight is interrupted by synchronized crushing blows between Knuckles's Maximum Heat Knuckles Attack and Yang's Resonance Blaze. Goblin gathers the strength to deflect their combo the swift instant before both Lucina and Blake clip his wings and Ultimate Armor X fires a point-blank Charge Shot so incredibly powerful that it really sends him flying. Straight right into Tails's gadget trap that negates his gravity and ascends him high above Prison Raft Island. It's not over yet as an angel, devil, and god fly past his flunged body as colorful blurs. Pit readies his Palutena Bow alongside Jin's Devil Beam and Palutena's Mega Laser, with all three warriors unleashing their blasts as one unified beam that rockets him back toward the island.

"Ready?!" Weiss shouted at the three leaders of the Dimensional Avengers as all four of them have been waiting for this moment.

The Schnee Heiress had prepared a Time Dilation Glyph that's empowering Spider-Man. And that's not all. As it does, Sonic spins himself to be used as his boxing glove before Ruby uses her Semblance to transform into a hooded cape made of petals for the determined arachnid to wear. "HERE WE GO!" Spidey announced, just as Goblin falls into the perfect position for him to end this.

With his full power unleashed, Spider-Man launches himself straight for his nemesis to intercept his fall with the Maximum Spider technique. His X-Aura. The Time Dilation Glyph. Sonic and Ruby. All of their powers combined gift him the ultimate speed to outrageously overwhelm Osborn with the ultimate blows too fast for him to see while he's ensnared by a massive web. 'This is bad! I'm running out of energy!' Goblin thought amidst the devastating pummeling, feeling his energy fading. "You…You'll pay for this…!" He snarls, exploding with rage and flames to free himself from the webs and lunge directly at Spider-Man with a flaming punch alongside this furiously ferocious roar, "PARKERRRRRRRRRRRR!"

"HHRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Spidey yelled with all his might and fury while rocketing toward his foe for the final clash. The Spider and the Goblin. Two eternal rivals throw at each other their last punch at the same time that will determine this epic showdown. The outcome made itself known by a massive shockwave that dispersed the fires that were burning Green Forest to nothing. Norman's fire punch only grazed his enemy's mask, causing his cheek to bleed. Peter's Sonic Punch, however, devastates his opponent's cheekbones so bad that he just couldn't endure the pain any longer. Green Goblin finally collapses. Out of energy and out of his devil form. Just lying on the dirt in pathetic defeat.

BGM End

The Dimensional Avengers regroup, panting in exhaustion from that long battle. Green Goblin is the same, too weak to even move a finger. The best he can do is stare at the approaching Spider-Man looming over his body. Taunt him in a final act of defiance, "What are you waiting for, Peter? I know you are sick of this cycle between us…Unless you DO get a sick kick of our battles destroying so many innocent lives…Even those close to you…Hehehehe…You and I are not so different after all."

Peter doesn't say a word. Just gives him the death glare that signifies what he is about to do. He grabs Osborn by the throat and pulls him toward his fist that hesitates to do the deed. Goblin's mocking chuckle drags him closer to his dark temptations, and would've caved in if Weiss didn't gently stop him. "Don't. He doesn't deserve it." She told him, which was enough to convince Peter into letting go and leaving his nemesis alive.

"Disappointing as usual…" Goblin scoffed.

"Your son believes there is still good in you, Norman. We're doing this for his sake, not for you. Be grateful that there is actually someone in this world that loves you." Weiss glares at him coldly, willing to give him a second chance and fight him again if he disappoints.

"…Harry…" Norman panted, thinking in somberance of his son while returning to his human form and before succumbing to unconsciousness.

Later, outside the Prison Raft…

Norman Osborn is among the other recaptured convicts that were cuffed and being taken away by SHIELD Agents so they won't cause any more trouble for a long time. It was a difficult struggle, but the Dimensional Avengers finally returned order to the prison. Their victory earned them rest while their wounds are being treated by SHIELD Medics. "Great work, team." SHIELD Director Nick Fury announced his presence to the heroes.

"Fury!" Spider-Man responded in relief.

"Goblin's down and the breakout is contained. A lot of villains are still locked up, thanks to you. Unfortunately, several inmates escaped from the Raft before you even got here." Fury told them.

"A hero's work is never done." Pit quipped.

"How did it get so bad, Nick?" Spidey asked him a serious question, "From the distortions to Iron Queen attacking the city, and now this. Today started off so great, then in the blink of an eye it's the end of the world. Heard from Dr. Light that our worlds no longer exist the way we knew them as."

"That's because they don't. They're dead." Fury said, both bluntly and grimly.

BGM-Marvel Future Revolution OST-Xandearth (Instrumental)

That moment. All of their hearts sank the second they heard those words come out of the Director's mouth. Spider-Man's actions say it all. He takes a step back in utter disbelief, with eyes widen in absolute shock as his mouth struggles to ask for clarification, "…Wha…What are you talking about?"

"It's like I said. Earth, Mobius, Remnant and their respective universes were ripped apart and collided in a way that gave birth to this new world." Fury explained with a stern glare and an apathetic tone that isn't very reassuring.

"Our whole universes…MERGED TOGETHER?!" Sonic shouted with such surprise that it freaks out the rest of his team. Jin's eyes widen in shock. The likes of Palutena and Lucina gasp from what they just heard. Both Knuckles and Weiss can't stop themselves from looking silly with the amount of sweat streaming down their faces. The entire Dimensional Avengers stand petrified, shivering in horror from learning that the Three Dimensions have merged into one.

"We don't know how this happen. Our science team just started research, but they've already coined the term for this phenomenon. Convergence." Fury informed them.

"Convergence?" X commented.

"It all makes sense now. How that Wendigrimm came to be and why the Raft and Prison Island suddenly share data." Tails realized.

"You must be pulling my leg, Fury! You're seriously telling me that New York City, all of our homes, they just…poofed out of existence?!" Spidey asked him in distress.

"Not exactly. Remnants of our old worlds still exist. Either left intact or merged to create something else. Take this unified city for example." Fury turns to the merged city in the distance, "It may look like New York from a distance, but we detected elements of Station Square and Vale having remade its infrastructure."

"A 'New Vale City'? That shouldn't even be possible!" Yang retorted, naming the unified city.

"It shouldn't, but it did. There's still so much we don't know about the Convergence, nor the extent of the damage. That's why I want you all on the Tricarrier ASAP. I've already ordered Maria Hill to gather everyone for an emergency meeting. My personal SHIELD pilot can fly you there when you're ready to go." Fury ordered them.

"Yes, sir." Lucina acknowledged.

BGM End

Fury then walks away, leaving the Dimensional Avengers to sulk over what they just learned from him. "This has to be some sick joke! It HAS to be!" Knuckles growled in furious disbelief of their dimensions being dead.

"Our old worlds are gone…And this new one is already on fire." Blake mourned sadly.

"I have no right to call myself a god after this. How could I have let so many innocent people suffer this tragedy?" Palutena lamented with guilt.

"I am so sorry for your losses, my friends. I sympathize greatly." Lucina frowned, knowing what it's like losing your home to powerful forces beyond your control.

Everyone is so deep in mourning the destroyed dimensions that it was left to Sonic to cheer them up. "C'mon, everyone, standing here moping ain't gonna save our dimensions. We just gotta find the problem and take care of it. This is nothing compared to other dimensional disasters." Sonic told them with an optimistic smile.

"Hmmmm…" The Dimensional Avengers respond with funny stares at him as they're not totally convinced.

"Seriously?" Sonic shrugged.

"No, sorry, you're right. We can't quit now. Now more than ever, our worlds need the Dimensional Avengers." Ruby responded, regaining her determined spirit and encouraging her team to do the same.

"Then we should join the meeting at the Tricarrier. If we all put our heads together, we'll figure out a solution." Jin suggested.

"That's the spirit!" Sonic smiled with a winking thumbs-up.

BGM-Dragon Ball Legends OST-Tragedy

Now fully aware of the Convergence, the Dimensional Avengers are determined to find the means to reverse it and save their homes. They walk toward the Quinjet that'll transport them to the Tricarrier. Most of them anyway. As she walks, Yang notices Spider-Man staring melancholy at the newly-named New Vale City. "Pete, you're sure you're alright?" She asked upon approaching her ex-boyfriend.

Chuckling, Spidey quips, "Thanks, Yang, but you know it'll take more than the sudden news of our worlds merging to keep me down forever. I can take comfort that this'll delay classes for a while. Let's save our concerns for the people of our worlds."

The frowning Yang sees through his cheerful façade and gives him a quick pat on the shoulder before walking away. Before joining them himself, Peter gives another disheartened stare at the merged city that used to be New York. His home, his responsibility, destroyed by the Convergence. All his great power failed him at the end. That alone both infuriates and depresses him to no end. Not helped by flashing back to what Goblin mocked him about in that recent battle, '…All of your dimensions will be burned by your failures…' Peter shakes his head to rid himself of those thoughts for now. He walks toward the Quinjet that's ready to takeoff, burning with the most resolve out of his team to return their homes to the way they were.

BGM-Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 OST-Gallery

KFX Here: That rematch with Green Goblin. Just another example of how climactic these battles can get. Specifically, against the major enemies to better pace this story. We're in this for the long haul, folks. This is also Goblin's last appearance in this story. He served his purpose being the big bad of these opening chapters, but as you can tell, his presence will be felt for the remainder of this remake.
