Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: This story is going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 38: Truths And Hathor Revelations VI
"Hey General, see if you can beam my teltak aboard the ship." she asked and he nodded then gently. "Actually there's a cargo, around the corner here, it's above the water, you can fly in." Picard said and she nodded. "There's General Carter's docking station then, as we come here, alright so this the setting for the SGA, CMC is the SGC, you are in the Antarctic. And this is your landscape now, so we just shoot on sight, and white rock is just out of range of the ship now."
"Although we're their home base, but if the base gets infected by a contagion, they're in self quarantine, and till he needs alien medical attention." she said and he nodded. "Yep, and that's not if one of Jacob's subordinates, reads the last 3 years, and decides on the standard. 'Nobody gets left behind', and it gets him captured by another renegade here." Sanderson said and he nodded. "So you know about his mental state?" Hammond said and the young quintet nodded.
"We all do in fact, Daniel is training us in on the job training, but the escapades are practice for the real thing. Our parents are stationed here on the ship, we're all second generation Air Force born." Satterfield said and he nodded. "So you're all second generation Air Force, baby?" he asked and she nodded. "Yes Sir, Jason's a diplomat, I'm Archeology, Jenny: astrophysics, Brandon is command at the moment, Jared does everything, he's like Wes, in truth here."
"Jack of all trades, that once they put their heads together, and update the internal security plan, expect trouble, as once we build Data and Lal. The system is not going to listen to anyone but them." she said and he nodded smiling. "And the Colonel, as he told us to put the damn thing on maximum stun, just resulted in getting blasted for another debate, between them." Brandon said and he nodded, as Wesley closed his eyes as his team started laughing at that.
"Like the fight would go, between her and Carter, but then Carter hates anything challenging her expertise, and when you know more then she does. From traveling the gate, to study of the sarcophagus technology, shall we." he said and they nodded. "Computer, input exchange in the physics lab at the academy, between Cadet Hailey and Captain Carter." he said and it turned on, from the episode, as they watched it play out, with her in the lab after turned on the device.
"Well this should be interesting, she's got an enormous chip on her shoulder, not from an inferiority complex, but anger and disgust at what she pulled, the previous two years. She likes Daniel and their entire team adores him, to them, he's the better teacher here. Being the perfect mentor, and though they find letting their emotions get in the way a weakness. Well they're one to talk, they do it all the time." Hammond said and Kerrigan crossed his arms.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Sam said and she turned quickly. "Major Carter." she said quickly and she said it. "At ease, Cadet." she said and Jenny turned it off. "Getting in a little extra lab time?" she asked and Jenny nodded. "Yes, ma'am." she said and she it said it. "I wanted to talk to you about the term paper you did for Professor Monroe now. 'Towards a New Cosmology of Multiple Realities.' It's an interesting topic." she said and she sighed.
"Professor Monroe gave me a D." she said to her and she nodded. "Because it wasn't the assignment." she said and Jenny said it in annoyance. "Permission to speak freely, ma'am?" she asked and she nodded. "Go ahead." she said and she said it. "The assignment was lame." she said to her then. "Maybe it was, but it was the assignment." she said and Jenny nodded. "You read it anyway?" she asked and they heard firm tone enter her voice.
"Matter of fact I did. It's intriguing." she said and Jenny scoffed then. "Well here I'm in my element now, I don't have to get out of another person's shadow now." she said and Daniel nodded smiling gently then. "Bad first impression is met here with the duo, you know he's dangerous, while she's an insufferable know it all." Landry said and the quintet nodded. "The same word Professor Monroe used." she said to her and she nodded sternly to her thrn.
"Maybe because that's what it is: An intriguing idea, but it's based on way too many unfounded assumptions to make a valid theory. For example, you assume that matter can travel both ways through an open wormhole." she said and Jenny nodded. "So?" she said and Sam said it. "So, how do you know?" she asked and she nodded. "Well, until somebody shows me a real wormhole that can only go one way…" she started to say.
"That's not the point: You made an assumption." she said to her and she said it in irritation. "What about your assumption, Major? That you're the one that's right and I'm wrong?" she said and she said it. "Cadet, that paper is way, way beyond anything you're likely to be taught at the Academy. And if you want points for it, hey, we're all impressed, it doesn't mean you don't do the assignment." she said to her sternly then.
"I'm late for a class, ma'am, am I dismissed?" she asked and she sighed. "Yes." she said and she walked out without another word. "Well all this says, like interfering in the lives of others, now she starts doing in the life of a promising young cadet. The ship is your arena, she's an outsider, you studied wormhole physics for 18 months prior to her lecture at the academy. But to you, I'm your favorite teacher, being a good mentor." Daniel said and she nodded smiling.
"I see it already, you're going to make a great teacher Danny, to recently activated cadets." Matheson said and he nodded gently then. "Yeah well Wes and the quintet are my pride and joy, till I teach my son these things, and by then, he's an archeology version to Wes himself." he said and they chuckled and nodded. "Alright clothing styles, and the grandparents of the cast, in characters, are all here, barring Worf, Tasha, Deanna and Data." Hammond said and he nodded.
"Doing this the right way, so I decided on a blend of goods and offers here, so if they won't do technology, we can get the blueprints, in exchange for getting their stuff back. Harlan now, in exchange for Data and Lal, we get his factory up to code, once we find the Mariposans. We can, in exchanging clones for our lost members, give them a copy of that clone now, in payment. As for trading deals, it's haggling the right number back and forth, but buy low, sell high now."
"You don't do it right, your company, in this case, the government, in military tax dollars is going bankrupt." he said and they and the secretary, David Swift, who came during the Nox, nodded in understanding. "Guys one more thing, customs are the same on every planet, we start with Shyla, and apply that to the 17, barefoot indoors, staying out of the chemistry lab. And so on here, but no drinking and said sentence, decline." he said and the teams nodded gently then.
"Okay so they're not bringing back enough, let's see how well you do, it pans out, and the president is making your placement here permanent." Swift said and he nodded. "Sirs, dad, I would like you to meet my girlfriend, Sarah Gardener and her parents. Charlie Dave Gardener and her mother, Emily Gardener, nee' Prescott, who as you know. Run 75% of the shares of Farrow/Marshall, he's about to create the advanced intar division." he said and they nodded.
"The ship in the last 10 decks are the docking station, but that's 750 to 850ft below the surface here, in water pressure, that deck 43 is the interlock now." he said and they nodded. "I see why you reprimanded them for that, they have no idea what you're doing here. It all sounds great in theory, till you start creating these things, but son, I want you to go to Jacob. See what he knows on the new technology Apophis had, looks like he knew." Hammond said to him then.
"If he does know, then Teal'C and I are free of the oncoming vocal onslaught, but she and Jack are facing being eviscerated for that death trap." he said to him then and he nodded gently then. "Well if you find technology that the leader of said grouping carrying the gate offers, ask questions, what do they want the deuterium for exactly. Because that crap is a key element in creating atomic bombs, us generals all know that." Hammond said and he nodded gently then.
"Alright so the kids from toddler to 14 are dressed in civilian clothes, for school here, from 14 to just graduating from the academy, or college, you're in grayish purple, with the darker purple. In shoulder pads, us adults here are dressed in uniform, and looks like's there's a third set of clothing, for civilian adults, and Guinan's wardrobe, was also added right now to the cargo now. So on the ship, we're dressed in uniform, when on mission, we're dressed in blue versions."
"Of our combat uniforms now, and those have been provided as well, there's 3 sets each per team member, and 13 teams, we add 15 more, we got 260 uniforms, for field duty. The black shirts are long sleeve t or short sleeve, depending on the environment now." Dixon said and they nodded. "Uh Daniel these jumpsuits for the teenagers, are marking a patch color, the primary is black, red and yellow, with the corresponding dot of silver, blue and white."
"That must mean their ship sector colors, for their suburbs now." Drey'auc said and they nodded. "It does actually, so their colors are marked by their doors, matching apartment color sector, so all officers, your children are marking your apartments. In familial quarters now, so guys, said patch on the lower shoulder, you're marked. By your sector designation colors, on that training gear." Daniel said and they nodded gently to him, in relief, they knew their areas.
"Dad, I already gathered my uniforms, when he was saying that." Wesley said and Crusher nodded. "So which one did you choose, so your mother and I move us there, as we get settled in?" he asked and he nodded. "I chose red and blue." he said and Crusher nodded. "Me too Father, I chose red and blue." Ry'ac said and Teal'C nodded. "Then the team is on that deck, so everyone that followed me, move to that one, we're the Jedi district." he said and they nodded.
"By that you mean our ship section designation colors, because we have red and white, black and silver, red and blue and blue and gold." Wes said and he nodded. "Which one are you?" he asked and Wes explained that to him. "I'm red and blue." he said and Daniel nodded. "As are we, Colonel." Jake, the twins and Robbie said and he nodded. "Alright, once we get Lal's grandmother created, she's joining your quintet now." he said and they nodded smiling gently.
"Boys, ladies, which section for you exactly?" Daniel asked and they nodded. "Red and blue, if you're our teacher, when not on missions, we'd rather stay with you right now." Brandon said and he nodded. "Alright, but the first paper ball getting chucked across the room, is getting you a week of extended training on the obstacle course, understand." he asked and they nodded, and Landry chuckled at that remark. "Firm, but fair, perfect teacher." Kerrigan said with a smile.
"Then whoever has a problem in training, stick to your sides, because we're not breaking up constant fights between you, and we catch you with the stims, you're in big trouble." Harper said sternly and they nodded to him. "This is going to be a long month, when we're adjusting to being a colony/crew, and we're the adoptive aunts, uncles and grandparents. For our officers children at the moment." Shepard said and Cam nodded in agreement to his opinion then.
"You think it's bad now, just wait till we get Teal'C's counterpart and her people on board her, and it's turning into a madhouse at the moment, as they're all adjusting. Now to being added to the group, while you 3 are getting used to being separated from me Johnny. But though 33, at that age, you're like a kid in the candy store and just off to college. As starting your first command right now, as a newly activated Major, and your new team." Landry said to him then.
And he nodded and Pulaski started laughing. "We're 29, she's 25 right now, but at that age, it's a 3 year age difference, and Catherine passed the position to her as leader of Atlantis." he said and they nodded. "Yep, and half the crew had grown a little too used to this, to know, new galaxy, new dangers." he said to him then. "Alright, we're starting on that, so we have 30 teams we can get more done this way, then anything else, we also do what they're not bothering."
"Now: accepting hospitality here now, but that's why they call it emergency rations, they are for emergencies only, say survival missions, so again no drinking on duty. Hear the key sentence, just for you, don't take it, it could be drugged, but again, and Colonel. You're going to need this right now, but 1) customs are the same for every planet in the designated country. So once you do one, you apply it to the others, 2) show respect to royalty, if there is any owning it."
"Said respect is by going down on one knee, arms crossed across the other, look them in the eye and no lying, 3) no drinking on duty, as the brass already ordained that. 4) you hear the sentence, just for you, never take whatever it is, it could be drugged now. 5) lock the bedroom and bathroom doors, or whoever took a shine to you, is going to jump you. After seeing you from the waist up unclothed and 6) accept hospitality where given, and watch it here."
"Said mine that caved in, was drained dry, we're creating a new one, so just use a small charge, to blow a way into the cavern." he said and they nodded. "And 7) if these mines are that unstable, and with you getting caught in a cave in, stay out of the section that could cave in. We don't have a sarcophagus on hand." Cromwell said and he nodded. "It's going to be a long month next month, as we're jumping from ally to ally, as you meet the sextet now, Frank.
"Before we go back, so half the armed forces are out looking for trouble, the other does trade deals here, but as Dan said, think big, think positive, never show any sign of weakness. Always go for the throat, buy low, sell high, listen up, these trade deal, are like being in the trade. At the trade market now, as one second you're up half a million in soy beans now, the next. If stocks plummet, you lost everything." he said and they nodded sternly to the news then.
"And they're convinced they don't have that kind of money to sell off and stealing technology to get the job done?" Haden said and he nodded. "But we did in truth, in the form of gold, silver, jewels and humanitarian supplies, food, medical care. We can offer to help them with their racial problems, and that brings in the goods too." he said and they nodded. "And to quote the trade dealer at the office here after said baiting, you know the rules of the exchange, Colonel!"
"All accounts are to be settled at the end of the day's trading, without exceptions, but claim they never had that type of money before. And we find that treasure trove you mentioned, we find it all, and more now. So we do have that money to afford it, they're just being cheap, all take, no give." Sanderson said sternly and Hammond nodded in stern agreement to that. "Well this is where you belong, and now only the guys and I can get to you." he said and he nodded.
"Well I got an idea, to insure we have her, him, where we want them: hong kong narcotics." he said and Landry started laughing and nodded. "Ooh good one there, we have the dig surrounded and being watched, by Ziang's narcotics team. And then comes the same exchange, that M's agent there in the keys had with Timothy, before we arrest this guy. And drag him back to Washington, for being a rogue agent." Addison said smiling and Hammond nodded then.
"Like the trailer said, when someone gets on your bad-side, said number is up right now, so don't push your luck, before you get barbecued." he said and they nodded. "No kidding, but 15 keeps an eye out for Neumann, the others are doing trade and research now. As we work this out, if we're on a dig on mission and said lake is carrying some unknown danger. Stay away from it right now, the other does the recon and trade." Daniel said and they all nodded thrn.
"And again stay off the system lord planets, as we give them the desired hiatus, but we tell them we found it and once they run thermal scans. Is they see a ship 750 miles around where the weapon is now, and know we parked ourselves directly over it. And the roof of the saucer section is the torpedo launcher, to fire straight up, in case of aggressive attacks?" Landry said and he nodded to the orders then. "I'm going to Yu, in 3 weeks." he said and they all nodded.
"The research station that had Jennifer going to was our's, but them interfering in our research, is a court martial waiting to happen here. He's only security, we run the show, the off world research center, Jennifer is in training there. But again, like Sharon on the movie right now, can't be right all the time." Landry said and Jenny smiled. "You already snatched me up, and before Carter could see me along with my team right now, Sir." she said to him gently then.
And he nodded. "You're in training kiddo, so Michael, she and the quartet, are graduating early, and joining Starfleet Academy." he said and Kerrigan nodded gently. "The training that Carter and O'neill are infusing them with is flawed on so many levels. They're getting training meant to prevent a real foothold, so the walking the halls was a facade." he said to that gently. "The ship is home now, but we get your entire family on board now, Sarah." Anna said and she nodded.
"Idea, we run the foothold test with the game, we see what their team does, how well they do, rather then a fake foothold, with an adult leading them. The only adult they can trust is me, once he's built, adults, human or Klingon, can be compromised, droids can't." they heard, as Brent Spiner and Hallie Todd showed up. "Hey guys, well that's 6, plus the daughter of said 6th member, but if the girls show up next, that's it till we find Worf's grandfather here next now."
"So we have all of us, plus the Atlantis contingent." Will said that then. "Well your droid selves are called Lieutenant Commander Data Brent Spiner and Cadet Laliari Hallie Spiner. We just de-age you 9 years, Hallie, in your droid self, you're 24, so 15." Picard said and she nodded. "And rather then the quartet's blood, which is white, we're human blood, based on battery fluid. As we can also circulate our food with fuel to keep ourselves going." she said and he nodded then.
"My team, Jenny, Jared, Brandon, Chris, Jason, we need to strategize here, cadet only meeting, you make the test as hard as possible, as we don't get it right the first time, we can try again." Wesley called out and they nodded, smiling. "Yeah alright you guys go into 10 forward, and strategize your planning, because this covers training. Said that the SGC never got into yet, being as we're about to have a foothold, shoot through the base." Daniel said and they nodded.
"Use my being hijacked and the game guys, we use that, but Wes, you're going to need my being hijacked to create your security chip." Brent said and he nodded. "Good point, but the ship matches her exactly, just ten stories bigger right now." Hallie said and he nodded. "And don't start teasing our cat, once I download your back up processor, into the mainframe." he said and Wesley started laughing then. "Meow." Spot's double said with a bemused smile in the tone.
"Young lady, what are you doing in here, you know this, below city deck, it's forbidden." Daniel said and she meowed at him. "Just this once, and only once, D.J., when not in your kennel, you have your own running ground inside scenery room now." he said and he gave a gentle growl. "Guys, this is not turning into a real one, so stay out of the walls, we hear a clang in there, and whoever did it, is in big trouble, as getting down is one thing, getting back up the shaft, no."
"Before we cover this one, it's covering decks 26 to 11, and if needed the jeffries tubes, but no extreme sports, we hear a clang in there, and you broke something. You're grounded for two months from training." Pulaski said and the teams nodded. "Are we using Wes's training, turned real catch?" Robbie asked and they nodded. "Yes, but don't replicate it down the limit, because I don't think she realized Danar was the manhunt resulting in this." Picard said to her gently.
"The battle bridge is the true firing range, that deck 1, is the training bridge for you kids right now, although the computers right behind the security console are working. So the line is this, computer create 10 mini phasers, maximum stun." he said and 10 phasers the size of the one Wes was using appeared on the table. "Practice, in getting around unseen, starts tomorrow, so getting around unseen, would be?" he started to say. "The Shafts." Wesley said and he nodded.
"That's the next test questions, so we go over that, so to go over it, we got the engineering guarded, along with the armory, ten forward, the infirmary and your cafeteria. So what do you do, now that you lost these?" he asked and they smiled. "We use a previous manhunt, the most memorable one we have, and use his strategy, distraction and diversion." she said and he nodded. "Good, you have 3 options, they all end in failure?" Picard asked and Brandon nodded.
"Cross them out and create your own." he said and they nodded. "If the trio spots you need to hit are covered by the enemy." Will asked and they nodded. "If there are two armories, and one of them is covered, hit the other, same goes for the infirmary and the cafeteria." Chris said and they nodded. "You installed a computer system for security, and it was meant for this type of thing?" Beverly asked and they nodded. "Activate it now." Jason said and they nodded proudly.
"We start tomorrow then, but what time is it exactly, if people have a hard time sleeping here, during the summer?" Landry asked and Shepard nodded. "That's 1700 hours." he said and they nodded. "Computer, initiate a setting sun, we're going into nocturnal mode on the ship." he called out and the outside hallways started dimming, to that of a sunset then. "This is going to be a long week, once we truly get started, but I better call Shyla, I have to run a few errands."
"Then I'm back in two weeks after that." he said and Landry nodded in understanding then gently at that remark. "How much blood did you lose exactly, baby?" Father David Thomas, their school priest, asked gently and he sighed. "Half: they did both wrists, but trying to set me up for suicide backfired, after I took the serum Shyla gave me right now. I'm halfway there, but screwing around with the information console, it speeds up the change further here right now."
"So once I become an ascended, it goes into the male side of the family." he said and Sarah nodded in understanding. "The boys like you, the girls me, that whatever comes with it, should be interesting, possibly turning you into animagus." she said and Landry chuckled and nodded in agreement. "Grr grr?" D.J. said and they chuckled. "Alpha can change into an animal, but he's always had big dog instincts in him, when it comes to me." she said and he gave a purr gently.
"Nice wording honey, I'm a wolf at heart." Daniel said and Landry chuckled at the remark, as he said it gently then. "Word just came back in, the trio are giving my psychiatrist the same trouble Nash did when he was our age, Sarah and me, there been 3 attempts to escape. Carter is trying to get a hold of me right now." he said and Landry nodded sternly. "Well I'm just quoting John when I say this, he's 16 years older then me, what truly is logic? who decides reason."
"Well for now, you're still in recovery, so light duty missions then we really get started here." he said and they nodded. "So we got concert halls, gymnasiums, rec centers, libraries, bookstores grocery and clothing stores, a shopping mall. Yeah I call this turning the ship and into a virtual paradise, but we're keeping to ourselves, anyone of these hotshots come here. We're closing ranks and to quote her, while they're busying driving the ship." he started to say and she said it.
"Ahh knock it off buster, is you think you're better then the rest of us, is that while you're piloting the ship, in repairs. It's we have the job of making sure everything is working correctly here now, so get over yourselves you knuckleheads. It's brains over brawns here right now, young man, so can the attitude." Macdougal said sternly, walking in, in time to hear that with Shimoda, Argyle and O'brien with her. "Hey Elaine." Sarah said and she chuckled at that.
"Yeah two Sarahs, so everyone just call me by my middle name now." she said and they nodded. "Yeah well wait for Ben and Brooke to learn this right how, as Brooke is going to have a panic attack, as now that the show ended, they just leaped into the bodies of us. Their grandparents as their characters, and I'm 45, in the body of 48 year old. But there it is, these kids are learning everything the way a true starfleet would now." she said and they nodded.
"Well the red shirted jock pilots are outnumbered 100 to 1 here, so watch it." Crusher said and they nodded. "Uh Uncle Daniel I came from our movie theater, there's two options to choose, if someone wants a movie. And with their teenage children, although it's high 13 to medium R rated, although the nudity is still plain here, along with the swearing." he said and they nodded. "So one for all ages, depending on the movie being shown, the other teenage to adults now."
"Did you check every theater on the ship?" he asked and he nodded. "Yeah they're all doing the same, and we just entered the millenium bug, with 4 months left. Said movies are for '99 to the turn of the century, the video store previous to that, and instead of VHS, or DVD's. There's control chips, 10 per movie, and the games are downloaded into the holodeck. Including Doom, Quake and Heretic." he said and they nodded with a bemused smile gently at that news then.
"Yes alright, you want to do a movie night, with Pizza and games with your friends, keep it under control then, if your parents want to go out for the night. As us of the said same officers on the suburb with you, are on cub duty here now. The ship is the size of a 4 suburb city, so we got movie theaters here, but guys, if you want to do PG-13 to R rated movies. You get your own theater, the first is all ages to watch, with the fact we got kids younger then you on board."
"A couple restaurants per 'burb, so whoever wanted a burger, pizza or taco can go there, and an arcade, so teenage living, and what not. These kids never leave the house, once video games get started, in ancient times, like right now, they called that socializing. But gentle music, snack bar, good looking teenage boys, cute girls all over the room here. In ancient times, we adults of that age group and older called that socializing, called being normal preteens to teenagers."
"Only the ship is containing all that and more, in 24th century form." Jordan said with a bemused smile and Picard chuckled. "Indeed and you, as the teenage to college age group, said are dressed in the grey jumpsuits. We got full officers, and your non officer parents are dressed in civilian, just leave the comlink on, and if we got an emergency, stay off the radio, here okay. We need to keep the channel open." Picard said and they nodded gently to the orders smiling.
"Alright in this case, Diane, you got first position, Beverly second, and James you got third, we got three doctors, plus a surgeon, and the infirmary is big enough. Just to contain 100 patients right now, but the medical equipment itself, is matching what we saw. When on the show right now, Bill I'm sorry, but George needs you more, with Daniel under me. That he needs time, we give it a month to 10, then you return to George now." he said and he and Henderson nodded.
"Give us 15 months, then we go back General, he needs us here, but with knowing everything about those three's mental state, it was me helping Dr. Carson treat these lunatics." he said and Landry nodded in understanding. "Very well, you get your 15 months, but those two are facing it in being everything they say about Danny, only jacked up to 10. It's not Danny's job to prevent them from making fools of themselves here right now." he said and they nodded gently then.
"And technically the 20th century is an anachronistic now, with us matching our descendants here now, as we adjust, we like the futuristic setting, we see. Now, how primitive we used to be, and became our descendants in every sense of the ward now." Picard said and she nodded. "Oh one other thing here right now, we have 4 woman officers, all due within the next 3 months. Of each other, so 4,005, one of the girls is carrying twins." Alyssa's grandmother said to him.
"Thank you for telling me that, we needed that right now, alright so 4,005 and 5, within 5 months, at least we can't lift off right now, is there a daycare and nursery on board?" he asked and they nodded. "Yeah daycare, preschool, kindergarten every grade right up to senior high school, that the SAT's are through the roof, even higher then a normal pilot. We're my daughter's goal, she wants to join Starfleet after basic." Captain Sarah Hailey said then gently.
"Well Sam's is out of luck, she never knew that Jennifer was testing her at the time, she's here during the holidays, their squadron are all here during basic training holidays." Daniel said and she nodded. "Hey Colonel, thanks for giving me this shot, I couldn't ask for a better teacher or future placement!" Jenny said and he smiled. "You're welcome baby sister, just remember not all think on your feet and think fast, need every minute." he said and the quartet nodded then.
"So Cadets Jennifer Hailey, Brandon Elliot, Jason Grogan and Christina Satterfield, let me guess, Jared Anderson?" he asked and they nodded. "We're 18, just started college." she said and he nodded. "Jack seriously, they're just kids still innocent, you don't have to get on their cases, because they made mistake." Lou said sternly and Daniel nodded in agreement. "Agreed and with that, though we're scientists, we can defend ourselves." he said and they nodded then.
"Alright both squads, when I'm here on base, is training, and doing my normal job now, as what I am, when not, I'm working trade deals. So with that, is this, what do you have, to what do you need, as allowing the logistics to do things for you…" he said and they nodded. "You forget things, take they're not realizing they need flame throwers, so you want something done right. Then you have to do it yourself." Brandon said and he nodded smiling, as he answered him.
"Good, how about this, one of the planets we went to, the fruit and edibles are drugged for the next stage, in which the antidote was the nectar?" he asked and they nodded. "We each bring our own supplies and water." she said and he nodded. "Planet 8, and there is intel needed, but the download is like a bullet to the stomach?" he asked and Wesley answered that. "If one of your team is an android, they take the intel for the human." he said and Picard smiled gently.
"Planet 2, is a fight to the death to get the coordinates, so having a variety of weapons to choose from here, and they take up the matching weapon to your's. So though play by their rules, which version do you choose here, in combat, so though level 3 advanced training. Would you rather see your handiwork, or do this blind-folded right now?" he asked and they exchanged looks. "We're cadets, we'd rather be blind-folded." Jenny said and he nodded, smiling gently.
"With using a hand gun loaded with blanks, not surprising here, training weapons are set to maximum stun, while your new guns, advanced training, give the pain. And of an open bullet wound, without the blood shed here." he said and they sighed in relief. "Planet 7, here's where it gets tougher, with your suffering tinnitus, how do you push away. In the hearing inhibiting fog in your heads, with it fall on the planet, and raining constantly?" he asked and she smiled then.
"Bring our parkas and push enough heat into pushing away the cold, so you can talk to each other again, before we leave, if the next planet is a frozen wasteland. Then put on thermals, under our real clothes, and our winter jackets, and then leave now." Chris said and he nodded then. "To which it is, and with that, setting up a fire, without burning the place down?" he asked and they nodded. "Bring a tar ball the size of a hockey puck." he said gently to him then.
"One of you suffers a hypoglycemic reaction and collapses?" he asked and Christina Satterfield answered that. "Give them something loaded with both, a stim shot, water, and stay put till they're ready to keep moving." she said and he nodded. "If the first stage is hanging off the cliff face?" he asked and they nodded. "Bring the rope, and have a member or two, standing around above them on the cliff face." he said and Daniel nodded smiling, as Landry chuckled then.
Knowing Daniel's training would far outweigh Jack's drill instructor attitude. "Planet 4 is a warzone, and it's everywhere you look, there's something in the way of getting to it. The coordinates and the password?" he asked and they nodded. "Bring plenty of ammo, because you're going to have to fight your way out." Jason Grogan said and they nodded. "Good, and lastly, and this the most important one, if the opener just happens to be the entrance now."
"To an obstacle course, one owned by your dead primary, who is gone: what do you do, to gain access to the password, and coordinates, before being tagged and deemed worthy?" he asked and she nodded. "Go down on one knee, and pray to them for protection on said quest, to rejoin them, on the other side." she said and he smiled at that, knowing she was right. "Very good, you're ready now for training." Daniel said proudly and they smiled in delight at the news then.
Realizing they passed his training quiz for entering the program. "Chris, if you're a prodigy of archeology, you're my apprentice now, I can train you here." he said and she nodded, smiling at the nickname, knowing he handpicked her. "Unlike some, I'm not getting on your case for a making a mistake, so just pretend everything he says is getting to you. But the rescue in the briefing room, the blast from the C-4 will destroy the wall, so hallway." he said and she nodded.
"But rather then Colonel, you can call me by name, as big brother teacher." he said and they nodded smiling and Kerrigan chuckled at that. 'Yeah this is going to work out just fine right now, they adore him, my cadets are going to enjoy training here. And compared to what being around O'neill and Carter would do.' he thought, before Lou froze, realizing where the questions where going then, realizing it connected to Aris's attempted delivery to Sokar then, in Teal'C's case.
"You're not serious after that barely killed you, you want to go back in?" Warren said and he nodded. "Last time was under false pretense, this time he and I know what to do, besides here, we get a total worth 985 nonillion in supplies, weaponry and technology." he said and they nodded to him. "Reg's opinion, not worth the gain, if there is no challenge to get to it, so the harder the better, protects our souls." Landry said in understanding and he nodded gently.
"Practice run on this for us, in training mode here, before we, that's Teal'C and me, we go back for real, and then plug the training mode in. And we plug in the new experiences, and deactivate the clock, before they do it for real." Daniel said and the three generals nodded. "The Doctor's always right." Addison said and he nodded smiling in agreement, knowing Daniel's skill and expertise, would ensure they all survived the things they got themselves into now then.
"Good idea, after we realized the blow to the staircase hit your spleen." Carson said and he nodded. "We're going back, so 2 successes, plus the obstacle course, and we're bringing two teams, just bringing the duffles, we can only dial in, not out, so you send our gear. And travel from planet to planet, till we get to the end, and then once done, we can do 9. And plug it into the mainframe, so we can gather the goods." he said and Landry started laughing and nodded.
"One too many obstacle courses here, if this just the beginning, I bet the trip to get the weapon to destroy the Ori right now, is going to be trying our patience here. But the rules now, and the parchment was to be taken quite literally, so if the first obstacle was slightly simple. As they never had access to this advanced technology, so the solution is deceptively simple. Shove ourselves back 800 years back and do it by throwing rocks." Vala said and he nodded, smiling.
"Like my grand daughter said on the Bringloidl, they were and will be anachronistic in 2123, that it's going to be interesting to see how well they cope." Pulaski said to that and Will nodded with a bemused smile. "They'll learn and adapt." he said as she exchanged smiles with the two generals. "Although if Danilo Odell's any indication, they'll be running this place inside of a week now." he said and she tried to keep from laughing, as they heard the alarm go at that gently.
"Deja vu, return to that exchange and now we get trouble." Cam said with a bemused smile and Teal'C slammed a hand and on his communicator. "Commander Martell, report!" he said and they heard the leader of the 6th team say it. "Fire in cargo hold seven, looks like some kid is playing with the matches!" he said and they nodded. "Teenagers, do that you're going to burn the place down!" Daniel said and he went to check on it, Pulaski headed for the infirmary.
And he heard a fast Sotto voc'e at that. "Just like the Bringloidi." Will said and Picard nodded as he said with a bemused sigh then. "What have they done to my ship now?" he said as they and Landry went to investigate that as they arrived at bay 7 then. "Report?" Teal'C said gently and he answered him. "Fire has been contained. No damage. " he said and Picard nodded. "Unseal the doors." he said and it opened to reveal 2 kids in camping gear with a pile of rocks in a circle.
"Oops." one of them said sheepishly. "Indeed, if you wanted to do this, in trying a campfire setting, do it on the holodeck young man, not in here, we got the seed storage in here, and you almost set our grain storage on fire." he said and they nodded. "Sorry General, we couldn't find the holodeck, we just moved in, and we're still adjusting to where everything is." his twin said and they nodded. "It's matched to the show, Mister Parker." he said and the twins nodded.
"General, I just checked outside, the temperature is 35 degrees here and just started snowing again out there, so with the fact we got holodecks. Is we can beam in some powder now, for the kids to play around in." Chase Dayton said and he nodded smiling. "Where's the primary airlock, to get on board exactly?" he asked and he lead them into the mid section of the ship where the saucer section met the edge of the top of the battle bridge, and they looked out across horizon.
"If this was the habitat on the movie, anyone going down lower then a hundred feet, needs the chamber, so once on board, in coming in through the engine section. Of the ship, said person has to submit themselves for 5 to 9 days decompression here, there is no real quick return. Just to get topside here, we been doing this so long, we're like the space station here. Learning the mental and physical side effects to living underwater or in space." Landry said and they nodded.
"We're breathing oxygen levels at 2.3 down here Sirs, inside the base itself, while training these guys right now. But I just checked the engineering section, on the side effects, and the health monitor and for the living/breathing environment is anything higher. Then that is it becomes toxic, so that's why, once on board downstairs, they're breathing helium. But alright kiddies, knock it off and get the regulators on, till we get you on deck 36, you wiseacres, now."
"One bad side effect, once breathing helium and though that scene is funny, it's still serious enough the straight members of the team. Said had to work through it, to prevent suffocations now." O'brien said and they nodded. "Just like the technician and Schreiber said, anything higher then 2.3, is toxic, because once you get back to the surface. Is this starts turning deadly, and you need immediate decompression." Picard said sternly and he nodded and Landry nodded.
"Alright we keep that door shut, the only way to get around out there, without going out directly, is the Jeffries tubes, we maybe burrowers. But we prefer our nice safe ship, to being out amongst the earthly dangers, with crazed military officers. Keep the winter sports under control here 1), 2) keep the language clean around here. And with kids younger then you on board, 3), leave your communicator on your uniforms, and be ready to report in now if we need you now."
"Because if I'm right and the next recall mission after Jacob, is first it got into the SGC, and tried getting into the NID and up to the joint chiefs. Though that happens, it's going to infect the entire planet, if they decide to come here, so foothold situation training. Followed by the Borg training if we run into the worst then the system lord enemy. And with the saucer section on the rocks and the battle bridge, 3/4's under water." Picard said and they nodded, smiling gently.
"I hope we have a surgeon here, because the side effects of the holodeck, if they're doing extreme sports could blow out a limb, or rip some muscles. From the 20th century hijnks, to what that system is programmed with right now, as a compound fracture. And to say this from my grand daughter's point of view, if you did it this way, when you should have gone that way. "Re-organization methods here, stay off the system lord planets, we're recon and making friends now, just find the threat and evade it." Landry said and the 12 teams, Daniel and Teal'C nodded sternly. "Jason, when Teal'C's not here, you're in charge, our unit stays together, but I'm training Cam, while Vala is getting used to working with me. And being as only she and I know about Pyrus's kingdom and the side effects involved." he said and Harper nodded sternly to him.
"So with that, Major Harper, you're unit 1, Captain Greyson your unit: is unit 2, Captain Bates, you're team 3, Captain Porter, team 4." Teal'C said and they all nodded. "Yes Sir." they all said together. "So this is life as a human, very well, I can get used to this." Drey'auc said smiling and they smiled. "Right Drey'auc this is Sarah Gardener, my earthbound girlfriend, she and I knew each other all our young adult lives." Daniel said and they nodded as they exchanged smiles.
"Nice to meet you Mrs. Martell, as you know me, Jason Harper, these guys are Jack Bates, Eric Porter and Derek Greyson." he said and she nodded smiling gently to him then. "Issues in being surrounded, by kids my own age now, is 30% training/30% school. And 40% living like a normal going on 13 teenager." Ry'ac said and he nodded. "Yeah your class is the 17 dressed in duck jerseys, you just met, son." Landry said and he nodded smiling gently to the news gently.
"Captain is Lieutenant and Major is Lieutenant Commander in Naval form, with the ship half submerged in water, we're going Navy here right now, so General becomes Admiral now." Greyson said and she nodded in understanding. "Well this helps now, I been around Admiral Landry so long, I'm used to things, though how Bra'tac takes this, is anyone's guess. When he finds out, what has changed in 18 months, since Ry'ac's kidnapping." She said and he nodded.
"I just came from our apartment Teal'C, the layout matches our home, before O'Neill and Carter came into our lives." she said and he nodded gently. "Well 2 bedroom apartment right now, and with that, we got crew evaluations in 3 months, so let's see how we do after 3 months on our own, and get ready for the long haul now." he said and Daniel, Beverly, Geordi and Dr. Kate Heightmeyer all nodded in agreement then. "We're not in space yet." Picard said to that gently.
"Branch out, remember scientists, medical and psychiatrical is blue, security, engineers and technicians are gold, and command and piloting are red, though some of us do everything." Landry said and they all nodded to the orders. "There's 45,000 uniforms here, so we each get 15 sets each, so one needs to be washed, it's put in the laundry and a new one is used." Picard said and they all nodded gently, as they got the adult uniforms set to size, and removed then.
"The SGA's on one half of the ship, the Enterprise crew the other, but the entire command is one, so start arguing and fight breaks out, you're in trouble kids." he said and they nodded. "Bet Carter's going to wonder, when she sees me, why I am dressed in dressed in black. And with the red shoulder pads and said 2 medals on the lapel of my uniforn. Answer: I already been chosen by the SGA academy and attending Starfleet, the quartet with me." Jenny said to him at that.
"Indeed, and right now, you kids live the dream, at least you get better teachers, but remember, the first duty." he said and the teams and their young recruits nodded. "The first duty of any Starfleet officer is a duty to the truth, be it scientifical, ethical or personal. And is the founding principle on which Starfleet is based, now if don't have it in you, to come forward. And tell the truth to what really happened, you don't deserve to wear that uniform." she said to that gently.
As the group of teenager and borderline college students, grabbed 5 sets each of their new uniforms now, said that looked like a fleece version. And of the one 1 piece jumpsuit Wesley wore at the time, as the officers start unloading their designated colors. As there were 70 nurses and orderlies, and 180 scientists, doing a wide range of fields there. Landry realized there were 120 S.F.'s, 170 technicians and engineers, and 190 computer experts and nodded gently then.
"Yeah fleece in here is better, with us living in a ship that gets cold at night, so break out the winter clothing, and double the blankets here. We get fresh water for bathing and drinking water, cooking, but again kids, this is a drug free program, we're running here. So drink options, non alcoholic are said soft drinks, milk, juice and lemonade, whoever wanted Cider. And Sparkling Grape juice, we brought that too, but no drinking, and stay away from the tobacco "
"I mean it, if any of us gets whiff of these, or we find drugs like speed, crack or whatever, you're in rehab, is that clear." Anenzi sad and they nodded. "It's also student/officer, student first over the officer, you're in on the job training, if we have to make a lift off." Picard said and they nodded gently. "Yeah that, and the saucer sep is the easy part, it's reconnection you have to worry about right now, we're riding the controls manually." Cam said and Daniel nodded.
"That actually gives me an idea here, we can detach, and head for Camelot now, and park directly over the entrance where it is." Daniel said and he nodded smiling. "Alright we do that then, but like Will this is our first test to that, so Jean I'm going with the team. To scout out the stronghold, see what we can find, you got the battle bridge till we get back here. But Cameron, here's your first test, in manual reconnections here." Landry said and Cam nodded gently then.
"Docking station so the subs know where to go, leave the engine lights on, underwater, so we can see them in the dark right now." Landry said and Rodney nodded to the orders. "The ship with us, in the coldest and at times darkest place on earth, the engines are drawing power. And from the deuterium." Rodney said and he nodded. "Well our grandkids never turned off the ship engines, that reactor is strong enough to protect them from the frigid temperature here."
"We're living in temperatures 300 degrees above that, but it's still so cold here, you need the warmth of the engines on constantly. And Q got the wedge of the top of the airlock, wedged into cliff face here, so we're, the saucer section. Said is above the water, by 900 feet, the Engineering at 1,000 more feet, and it starts going under water. at 100 feet, and the warp engines are sticking out both sides along with the repulser engines." Macdougal said to that.
"We have 25 decks hanging off the cliff-face, and deck 26 is like looking out the window, and seeing the water there now." Derek Argyle said and Landry nodded in understanding. "Alright 6 months of sunlight, we simulate night and day times, then during the winter here. It's Daylight savings time, we set the clock back an hour." he said and they nodded. "Like you told the president, we're simply a training station for the teenagers, and these kids and their parents."
"Don't need to be harassed by crazed soldiers, that trinium, that iris will hold, it held up against Sokar attempting to burn through it, it will hold up against a rocket launcher." Rodney said and Daniel and Teal'C nodded. "Nice, clean, energy efficient source of power, rather then nuclear physics, we use deuterium for power." Daniel said, knowing it was working. "There's the first change, and we go from there, putting ourselves 357 years forward." Sarah said gently to this.
"I think this skyscraper, so to speak here, is possibly the size of the Chrysler Tower, and that's a a city sized Chrysler Tower now, you can see for miles around the continent. But we're not the ones irritating the system lords, but they only know me and Teal'C, dad. I'm coming under a verbal flag of truce, and doing this on their terms, not our's arrange a solid treaty. They created it with the Asgard, we further it, and the Earth is under the trio's rule." he said and they nodded.
"It's our one chance, but if Jack gives you beef, he's paraphrasing what Maxwell said to Jean Luc, after he killed the Cards." he said and they nodded. "Well either argument is enough to call he had a nervous breakdown, they all did right now." Carson said and they nodded. "Well if the next vision that crops up, what they have planned is connected to Jacob's latest. In weapons, then they're about to commit genocide we have to head it off." Addison said and he nodded.
"Hang on." he said and went to a replicator. "Computer training lightsabers, one in turquoise, the other in orange the third and fourth in blue. At the highest level setting, and not to be switched to real till training is over." he said and one by one they appeared. "Alright Wes, you and I are Master Guardians, guys, you're going to need these. They're like the intars maximum stun without doing the real damage, a true gun causes, in this case a lightsaber, causes now."
"So nobody gets hurt, till you create your own, Wes." he said and Wesley nodded smiling. "Remember what Liam said, a Jedi, in this case, pre ascended being, never goes anywhere without their lightsaber. So we're not soldiers, but peace keepers, the weapons are on stun, not real bullets, like the phasers, keep the weapons up, till we're in a fight to the death guys." he said then, and tossing the lightsabers to Cam and Shepard and they nodded smiling then.
