A/N: Back at it again with a character that should've been done a very long time ago.
My second OC, and one of two that gave me traction on FF, Wes. He's one of what I like to call my lost OCs. Wes has been around for a long time, but I don't use him much at all in stories anymore due to various reasons. Others include King Xiaoyu, Yuan Lei, and Shaggy. Unlike them, Wes has never been difficult to write, and I'm starting to enjoy writing for him again. Especially since he and Kole are siblings.
Let's see what makes him tick, shall we?
A-B-C Challenge: Wes of Latasi
A): Aftercare (What they do with their s/o after sex)
That may depend on who his partner is. Someone like Anna will not let him rest after one round, especially if Wes did an excellent job pleasing them.
B): Bodypart (Favorite body part of their s/o)
Breasts. Though it's not for similar reasons to Original Take Xan. Wes has plenty of time to mull over a decision, and the fondness in his partner's tits is an educated decision. He's especially fond of the nipples and how sensitive they are to the touch.

Most of the time, Wesley will orgasm on his partner's chest and face. If trying to conceive, has been given consent, or forgets to pull out, he'll cum inside his partner.

Wes copes well to a blowjob. He trusts his partner enough to let them decide when it's enough since he has the stamina. Others would manipulate where it'll lead, but he doesn't do that.

Heavily depends on what's going on around him. If in times of war or conflict, Wes is deadly serious. Otherwise, he's relaxed but still maintains an edge about him.

Wes prefers to tell the truth, but if strapped for time or has no other choice, he'll lie to get out of whatever predicament he's in. It can be substituted for heavy sarcasm.

Wes wouldn't go out of his way to let others know he's in a relationship with another. He won't hide it either. Either his partner lets other people know, or you ask him to tell you personally.
J): Jerk off (How often do they jerk off?)
Only when in times of war longer than expected and with no partner will Wes touch himself. Even then, he'd still consider against doing it. Though it might make him more bitter, albeit slightly(Ah, interesting. Probably the first character to be a somewhat yes.)

Wes has a habit of introducing food during the act, much to the delight of his partners. Most of the time, it's something sweet like fruit or candy.
L): Location (Where do they like to do it?)
A traditionalist to his core. It's either a bed or a substitute like a tent or nowhere at all.

Love and affection are two of his biggest turn-ons. Wes is all for flirtation, but he doesn't like it when people flirt just for the sake of it.
N): Naughty secret (What is the secret they keep?)
Wesley's a big fan of romance novels, thanks to his wife's forcing them on him. But he doesn't like talking about them as it genuinely embarrasses him.

Receive. No glaring reason as to why other than Wes won't have to test anything but his sexual stamina.
P): Pace (Are they slow and sensual or fast and rough)
Wes always prefers a gradual session as opposed to a quick one. How are you both going to enjoy yourselves if the session is moving at 100 mph?

Wes isn't against it. Once again in times of war, you're gonna need to get the stress off somehow. If he can be convinced that they won't get chewed by their superior Wes will partake if either of you have to.

Wes is one of the most selfless people you will ever meet. To the point where he would neglect his own personal health to help others with their problems.

Like I mentioned in Letter K, Wes has a habit of bringing sweets to a session to add some extra steam. In extreme cases, Wes can bind you to the bed with his magic. Only at your insistence.

Wes is good enough at pacing to not be considered a tease. Outside the bedroom, the closest he'll get to teasing you is having a conversation with his s/o.
V): Volume (How loud or quiet are they in bed)
He's pretty quiet when doing the deed but moans and groans if you're doing a good job.
W): Wildcard (Random fluff or NSFW HC you have for this character)
During a visit to Renvall, Wes and Luphy were unknowingly invited to an orgy with some of the Beastkin there. They didn't realize that until they got to the location. Wesley went home since he was married at this point. However, Luphy stayed. (AD: Wes just gained more respect from me by refusing that)

Wes has a seven-inch shower. His dick has received many compliments on how nice it looks.
Y): Yearning (How well do they cope when you or s/o are away and they're horny?)
There were wars where Wes has held off, and those could take months to years. When in a relationship, he and his partner will discuss when they should do the deed to not starve one another of their lust.
Z): Zzz (Do they fall asleep straight after sex or wait for you or s/o to sleep first?)
Most times, Wes can go for another round or two. If exhausted, he isn't blamed. It can be very tiring whether working for the Magic Council or the True Black Fang.
Bonus Question: True Pairings (Who do you think as their creator would be best for him/her?):
Good question.
I wrote my first lemon on FF and, in general, with Wes while Anna was his partner at that time. After I went on a tirade with lemons, resulting in the original run of To Love a Druid. He slept with Anna, Echidna, Lyn, Sophia, Magi (An OC), Cecilia, Miriel, and Farina in that story. (Who might be a minor, so that was dumb of me) I cut that story off before I could finish it, but it's whatever. Wes was also involved with Ursula of the Black Fang and Rei. (another OC) Is there anyone out of this bunch or in FE in general who would work with him? Let's take a closer look and see.
Anna has good chemistry with Wes, but she has that with everyone. (Except Corrin, but that's through no fault of her own) I have a personal rule to not to match OCs with mascot characters or protagonists. She's the mascots of FE, so that wouldn't work. Echidna doesn't have enough information to warrant being an OTP. However, the pair would get along well since they're similar in certain aspects. That is defending those who can't and standing up for one's beliefs. Lyn's the female protagonist of Blazing Sword, so she's dq'ed automatically. Sophia is older than her appearance suggests since she's half-dragon, But she looks like a girl, so I wouldn't be down with that. It would be fine in FE anyway since most of the series protagonists aren't adults. Most of them are 16-17 years old, with some exceptions. It wouldn't work for Wes since he's 25. Cecilia is kinda boring, so I wouldn't pick her. While Miriel would be a hilarious choice due to her idiosyncrasies, I feel like she's borderline asexual and best to leave alone. Due to FE's era, falling in love and marrying a minor is perfectly acceptable. Wes and Farina can happen, but I won't go out of my way to make it so.
Magi and Rei are both OCs but are based on actual FE characters. Magi is inspired by Sonia and Ursula, while Rei is inspired by Panne. (I even imagined Rei having Panne's buttery smooth and low voice) Wes isn't like GbNF Xan, who doesn't believe in redemption stories. He'll give people a second chance if it's earned. And Wes does so to help Ursula become a turncoat if given an opportunity. Panne and Wes are similar in that they're both recluses and can bond over their mutual disinterest in people. Panne reminds Wes of Rei in how they speak, and it helps that Panne is pleasing to look at. The same could be said of Rinkah since she also prefers solitude and is also eye candy.
In Wes' support story, I said in Ken's introduction chapter that if Wes were to go to Ylisse, he would end up with Maribelle. While I really like Maribelle and wished she was more liked among the fanbase, I can't see her with Wes now. If I had to choose an Awakening Girl, it would be Cordelia, Say'ri, or Sumia. (Since Sumia is too good for Chrom. He's a great character, but still)
One thing I find funny is how villainesses think Wes is one since he dresses in black and blue robes as a Druid. In reality, he's probably the most well-meaning OC I ever created. He practices and studies Elder Magic but believes in Naga, our version of God. And the Eight Legends, eight historical figures who stopped the Scouring and met two of those being Athos and Brammimond. Wes has an uncanny ability to turn villainesses against their former masters like he's James Bond. Though he doesn't bother since most of them are either detestable or it's too late to help them. Being more powerful even for Druid standards helps a lot in that case. Pheros from Awakening is a prime example of someone he can reach with his silver tongue.
But what about outside of Fire Emblem? Who would work then?
Wes works best with those who are just as selfless and altruistic as he is. So while my editor will probably abhor what I'm about to say, Jade will be a great choice. (For the same reasons why Sumia or Cordelia would work well) (AD: Honestly, no argument from me. They would compliment each other well. That would be like me saying only Benji or Jai are the only choices for Jade) Since FE might as well be FF for kids, Fang from FFXIII is also a great pick, tragic as it may be. Once again, Taki is an exceptional choice. Believing in redemption stories would draw Wes towards Ivy. It would be easier for him than say Tira since she's unapologetically evil. He'd definitely off her without hesitation. Tira was paramount in ruining Sophitia's life.
I wonder if my editor has anyone in mind for him?
Bonus Section: Questions from my Editor (Questions about the character that my Editor has.):
Which villainess has the best chance to make Wes theirs?
A bit vague, but I'll answer in as many avenues I can find in this question.
In terms of a villainess who can turn Wes into a villain himself, much like Huey regaining his sight, is impossible. Wes' path is set in stone. But for the sake of not giving you a boring answer, let's entertain this what if. Only one person can turn Wes into villainy.
Sonia the Morph.
Why? Because Nergal made her in the image of Magi, Wes' late wife. She can and has tried (if Blazing Story was continued) to manipulate Wes into joining her. Yet she failed and earned Wes' ire. But if anyone can make him turn, it would be her. When she died, Wes's chances of becoming a villain died with her.
In terms of the reverse, Wes turning villainess to the side of light, the easiest woman would be Aversa from Awakening. He's seen manipulative Warlords and their fanatical female generals before. We just mentioned one in Sonia. Aversa will be easier to turn because she figured out that Validar was manipulating her before the Shepherds found her. Wes knows a lost cause when he sees one, so he won't go out of his way. He'll make a solid attempt but bodies will hit the floor if it isn't going anywhere.
How do Wes and Anna have so much good chemistry?
I forget that you haven't been with me during my early days as a FF Author. You only know of Wes' interactions with this Anna. In lore, Wes has interacted with many of the Annas. Bartered with them and managed to escape without getting ripped off. He's well known among the red-headed shopkeepers, so they all like him. It was only a matter of time before he befriended one.
Who would be the hardest woman for Wes to court? And why?
The hardest woman for Wes to court would be a woman who's already taken. Unlike Benji, Wes knows of his physical attraction and only has to apply himself to he can have damn near whoever he pleases. He just chooses not to. In a mirror of the first question, women would find Wes hard to court since he can and has said no with more than enough power to back up his willingness to be by his lonesome. Save for his friends and family, if they say he's going on a date with someone they think he'll fancy, he doesn't have much choice at that point.
But if you want a character as an answer, I'll pick the hardest in my opinion from his OTPs. The two hardest women for Wes to court out of the bachelorettes I chose for him would be Taki and Fang. Both are incredibly (in Taki's case extremely) stubborn and refuse bonds with anyone else as a product of their stubborn behavior. More so Taki than Fang. As a result, actually gaining them would mean it's in terms of other partners.
They'll sooner kill him than let him go.
Where does Wes find his inspiration from?
Another vague question, but once again I'll answer in as many acceptable ways as I can.
In terms of power, Wes is inspired by his family. His mother is a powerful Sage and his grandmother is Niime the Mountain Hermit, the woman who takes credit for teaching him about Elder Magic. He also takes inspiration from all the bonds he has built during the Black Fang Campaign. He grows in power to defend those he cares about, which has grown substantially. He takes inspiration from Nergal in that man is everything Wes doesn't want to be. He's learned to restrain the rate at which he learns new spells. In terms of my inspiration for making him, Druids were always one of my favorite classes in all of FE. But his creation stemmed from a friend. He wanted to make a FE story of his own and asked his circle of friends (which included me) to give him a character to slot in. I came up with Wes as a result.
When do you intend to write something further on Wes?
I don't know as of now. There's his support story that I update whenever I feel in the mood. In terms of an actual story, I don't want to do anything with Wes until I actually restart and finish Blazing Story, his debut. Then maybe I'll do the sequel story with him and Kole going to Hoshido.
Has Wes ever considered marriage again after Magi's death?
Of course. Blazing Story would've capped his arc in him finally getting over Magi's death and opening his heart for another woman. Whether that be Ursula, Rei, Anna, or another FE girl is a toss-up. But yes, I always planned on having Wesley love another after forgiving himself.
Would Wes ever engage in group sex? (Stems from Letter W)
He wouldn't be against it. As a war veteran, Wes knows that stress has to be alleviated somehow or else you won't perform at your best. Most of the time, the best way to relieve stress is to have sex with someone you fancy. In that sense, a threesome, foursome, or an orgy would do wonders for that purpose. Casually? That depends if Wes is single or not. If he's married, forget it. If single, you have to be close to him to pitch the idea and have quite the silver tongue to convince him to say yes.
