A/N: While the Traffic Graphs were down I did some big things. For example, I finished the Main Story for Yao Guai's Journey so give that look see and I started the first part of its aftermath starring Yao's adopted little sister Jianyu the younger Chinese Doll. Speaking of Yao, I recently asked Editor-san to write me one more scene to get some extra perspective on one of his OTPs and I jokingly stated that I should make a tier list of his DOA OTPs and he thought I was being serious. So, I made one and I placed two more ladies alongside the three we agreed on. So I'm going to write a scene with them to show you what the pairs are like. Here we go!
The first of the two leading ladies is Tamaki. The Japanese Bar Hopping Fashion Designer has an older sibling-like attitude. Though a borderline alcoholic, she maintains an easy-going, warm, yet teasing and flirty demeanor. Giving Tamaki her credit, she knows what she likes and wants. So what happens if the object of her desires is a certain Chinese Sennin?
Let's see.
The business day for the Nameless Medicine Store was winding down to a close. Resident Sennin Wuming served his final customer, a regular of his Uncle Guai. They were more stingy in what they wanted and didn't settle for alternatives. But when Guai handed the store over to his nephew, that was one change they had no choice but to accept. The customers were hard on him at first since Yao wasn't his uncle. Yet he won them over quickly. His mother Jie always said that the entire Wuming Family remained unforgettable to anyone fortunate enough to meet one despite being Nameless. The reasons varied, depending on who you asked.
If you were one of Guai's regulars, it would be that he doesn't attempt small talk. Most of the time, they were in the store for something, and the last thing Yao wanted to do was waste his time or yours. On top of running the Medicine Store, he'd ensure the neighborhood wouldn't get harassed by the Wushu Students from the Long and Lee schools. Yao also didn't have much tolerance for those who wouldn't buy anything since he had more regulars than his uncle did. However, Yao's unforgettable to a particular Japanese woman.
Tamaki, the Aikido Prodigy.
Yao had been just as inviting in their conversations as she was from the moment they met. He welcomed and returned her constant flirtation instead of being thrown off by them, effortlessly too. She even went so far as to drunk call him on several occasions without him being too annoyed. Tamaki couldn't recall the last time she was this infatuated with a man, let alone one who wasn't Japanese.
Yao was consuming her thoughts at the right pace. Him inviting her to Aberdeen was the perfect nudge Tamaki needed to further push their relationship. It was a simple plan - find him, turn up the flirtations, hope he returns them, and cement the relationship by laying in the same bed after some... carnal activities.
The first step was easy.
She found him staffing his store, and he even invited her inside and shared a kiss. Not a long one but enough where her lips started to tingle, her heart skipping beats. That one motion made Tamaki realize that Yao already thought of them as a pair. All the more easier for her since that was the intent.
In Tamaki's stupor, she completely forgot about steps two and three. It would be rude of her to ask Yao to sleep together. Not that he would say no. With what the pair said to each other, people might tell them to get a room. But her Yao-kun was still working, and that would be disrespectful to his customer if she just stole him for an hour... or six. Yao knew this and directed his partner in crime to the restaurant down the street.
It was there where Tamaki met Xiao Ren, Yao's Aunt-in-Law. The pair had a hilarious conversation as the Fashion Designer thought the restaurant owner was Yao's mother. Ren laughed so hard, she snorted at the claim. The pair got along well and after one of them brought up day drinking (Tamaki didn't know because she couldn't remember), the two ran through an entire bottle of some of Ren's best Rice Wine. They washed it down with a glass of Red Wine, Ren opting to close down for the day. Did that exchange mean it was time for her boyfriend?
"Why, yes. I would think we're dating at this point. Unless that kiss was just a shogi move of some sort," Tamaki thought aloud in her buzzed state.
Anyway, it was time for her boyfriend to close up his store for the night as well.
Tamaki walked back up the street. When she reached the store, one last customer had left the building. When Tamaki could no longer see the regular, she went inside.
"Yao-kun~" She greeted in a loving tone as her partner was restocking some ointment he had just sold.
Upon seeing her, Yao smiled and motioned her to come inside. "Sorry to keep you, Tamaki. You caught me in the middle of my workday." He said as he got back on ground level. Tamaki closed the distance between the two as they were pretty much sharing the same space when he turned around.
Tamaki immediately wrapped her arms around his waist, giving him a deep hug. In a receipt from his lip-lock earlier, Tamaki gave him a deep, lustful, sake-tasting kiss on the lips. Audible groans of pleasure left her. She briefly peppered his chin and neck with additional kisses when the pair separated before leaning against his chest.
"Tamaki, have you been drinking with Ren?" The Sennin asked her. She laughed instantly before hiccuping lightly as an answer.
"Yes, I have been. She's a lovely woman and can hold her liquor. By the time we said goodbye, we had finished a bottle of her Sake and a glass of wine."
"Which explains why I tasted Sake on your breath. I'm actually amazed that you haven't fainted yet. Ren's Sake is no joke."
"Well, Yao-kun~. I used to bar hop as a hobby before becoming a Fashion Designer. I can hold my liquor."
"True as that may be, Tama-chan, I think you've had enough for tonight. We should get you to bed."
"Ooh, I like the pet name, Yao-kun~. It rolls really well off the tongue."
Tamaki leaned in for a third kiss, which Yao fought but failed to turn down. True to her description, she rolled her tongue during the now handsy embrace. It almost caused Yao's eyes to cross due to how heavenly her pink lips felt. A trail of saliva was still connecting the pair's lips.
"You are a heavenly kisser, Yao-kun~. Indulge me some more, please," Tamaki teasingly requested.
"In all seriousness, Tama-chan. With where this is going, I'd rather not have the first time sleeping together be when you're buzzed," Yao jokingly remarked, failing to hide his chuckling.
Tamaki gasped dramatically. "So you are interested in me! Naughty boy, Yao-kun~."
Her drunken facade had vanished entirely. Yao knew she wasn't drunk, hence why he played along with her antics.
"Well, if I'm naughty, I can only imagine the lewd thoughts you had of me, Tama-chan."
"Oh, they're very lewd indeed. I really like the ones where you show me how good your hands feel on me," Tamaki expressed her perverted thoughts.
The Sennin gave her one final kiss, their lust finally boiling over. Tamaki dipped slightly as she coiled an arm around his neck while the other caressed his face. They dueled fiercely as Yao suddenly picked her up, newly-wed style. She gasped in approval of the sudden display of strength.
"Where are you taking me, Yao-kun~?"
"I think it's time for us to make some new memories don't you think, Tama-chan?"
"I would very much like that. It's time for you to make my thoughts and wet dreams a reality. I can't wait any longer."
"Then let's go, Tama-chan."
Tried to change up the feel of these scenes that aren't generally done with comedy in mind. While also done in first person as opposed to third. The teasing narration mixed with the exposition and highlights like describing Tamaki's first meeting with Ren and her plan getting shafted (*achoo!*) by Yao's sudden PDA. I think I did a good job with the scene, is what I'm trying to say.
The next scene will star Sayuri, who's never been playable in a mainline DOA title. She's rather exclusive to the Xtreme spin-off series. Though I have never played a single entry in the Xtreme series, I've learned enough about her to where I can write a romantic connotation involving her. It should be easy since her two main personality traits are kindness and friendliness.
Let's see if I'm correct or not.
Rarely does altruism end with the morally correct in a dire strait.
Their heads are typically held up high as they go about their business, as if nothing happened. Yao was a one-in-a-million exception. You see, he participated in the act of altruism that started a chain of events cultivating him and an ally being sent to another realm. It all started when the Super Ninja Ryu Hayabusa requested his assistance. A friend of them both, a young girl named Kasumi, was taken by DOATEC after killing her evil uncle Raidou. Yao knew how malicious he was since they fought before her turn as he wanted the Sennin's Techniques for himself. Fortunately, what he wanted and what he got were two vastly different things. Yao ended up giving him heart palpitations for the rest of his life due to removing his Speed Limiters then punching Raidou in the heart so fast; he couldn't defend himself. Raidou's heart didn't know what to do after that blow made contact. It at first placed him in Cardiac Arrest, and he barely survived that, so the palpitations were Yao's act of mercy.
The pair infiltrated DOATEC's base in Germany and found Kasumi before freeing her from captivity. The base was sent to Kingdom Come. A few days later, Yao became more intimate with one of his newest regulars. Sayuri, a Japanese woman who was a former nurse who had just started her medical practice. The pair started as a simple producer and consumer relationship. Eventually, Yao asked her out on a date, and Sayuri agreed. The evening went well as they started seeing each other more in the following weeks. Sayuri didn't know Yao was a Sennin, but his next act of altruism changed that. Several weeks later, while setting up their next date, Ryu asked Yao for his help on a grave matter. Not wanting to scare Sayuri, who didn't know anything, Yao accepted and put a reluctant raincheck on their next meeting.
It turns out, a Tengu named Bankotsubo had made the weather in Japan borderline hellish. Had it not stopped, the storm would have spread to the rest of the world. Bankotsubo killed the leader of his people and escaped to the human world before causing all this havoc. Ryu nearly pleaded to the Sennin for assistance, and Yao begrudgingly agreed. The pair traveled to Japan and found where the Tengu was hiding. After a fierce battle, the pair killed Bankotsubo. That event included intervention from one of Kasumi's clones who wanted revenge on Yao for preventing the real Kasumi's death. Yao even ripped off his nose and gifted it to Gen Fu to cure his granddaughter. The battle left him with heavy fatigue. Once he destroyed the medium between the two worlds in the Fallen Miyama Tree, Yao passed out from overexertion for the first time since becoming a Sennin. During the two years spent in Brazil, he's fainted from overwork numerous times. Ryu brought him back to his store in Aberdeen, where Sayuri waited and ran while he was gone. Her knowledge of medicines Yao and his uncle sold was almost on their level. In terms of medicine in general, she knew more than them. When she saw Yao's unconscious body being carried, Sayuri nearly yanked his passed-out form from the ninja. It took all her self-control not to slap Ryu for having a hand in Yao's condition.
Sayuri carried Yao through the store and upstairs to his room before laying him on the bed through sheer adrenaline. She immediately put her nurse skills to work, examining his physical condition. Thankfully, there were no injuries, and none of his scars were reopened. She struggled to get his limiters off without the proper knowledge of what they were. Applying more force from top-down, Sayuri miraculously opened them one by one. His wrists and ankles were no worse for wear as well. There were a few minor bruises but nothing worth worrying about. Deducing that Yao had passed out from fatigue eased the nurse's mind. Still, Sayuri struggled to figure out what could Yao have possibly placed him in this condition.
She wondered if there was more to the Medicine Store Owner than what he told her. Sayuri had no plans on leaving him. The pair was too kind to one another to warrant something so crass. However, she wanted answers to get them shortly as her boyfriend's eyes slowly opened. That brought a wave of relief over her.
Yao slowly moved to sit up, Sayuri helping him do so before he felt his head. "How are you feeling?"
"A small headache, but nothing worth stressing over."
Yao turned to his girlfriend. The pair warmly smiled at one another. "I guess I have you to thank for bringing me up here, my little guardian angel."
The pair shared a loving kiss as their hands intertwined. They truly loved one another if anyone who saw them together would indicate. Yao and Sayuri rarely saw each other since she lived in Japan, with Yao residing in District 17 of Hong Kong. Yet, the mutual affection had never waned despite the long distance. Their lips separated as Sayuri sat next to him, their hands still connected.
"Yao... You were carried by that same man who asked for your help earlier today. I didn't say anything then because it sounded like a serious matter. But wearing those giant rings on your wrists and ankles that were difficult to remove, and now this? I'm starting to think you're withholding secrets from me. I don't mind that, but I don't think I can respect your privacy anymore." She moved his face so that they held eye contact. "Who are you?"
"I'm sorry, Sayuri. I have been hiding some things from you. But I felt like you didn't need to know. And why I never told you what they were. I didn't think we'd be put into a situation like this."
"I understand your motivations, あなた (Darling. Reserved for boyfriends or husbands, so you can infer that the relationship, while still on a casual level, is getting serious), but if we want to evolve this relationship, you have to come clean with me. I don't think we should be together if you continue to hide these things from me."
"No, you're right, Sayu-chan. I don't want you to think any less of me," Yao voiced his concerns.
Sayuri immediately pecked his cheek. "Never. You are too good to me where you being forthright would warrant my leaving of you."
In return, Yao then kissed her cheek, thanking Buddha and Lord Yama for bringing this woman to him. "You're too good to me, Sayuri. Ok, allow me to come clean on everything."
The Sennin began explaining the two most important moments he didn't tell her. The first was his time as a criminal in Metro City as a bodyguard for one of North America's most dangerous men that he owed a debt. It had to be paid lest it bit him later in life. Belger, thankfully, had his share of karma in the form of his death. Yao then explained that he had already served his sentence in the condition of parole for thirteen months. Sayuri naturally concluded this since cops didn't follow him, and the Interpol Badge Yao showed her after hearing of his podium placement in the first DOA tournament.
The second was a Sennin, a mythological rank in the Martial Arts world that only fifty people ever earned in history. The title granted Yao supernatural abilities which warrant the use of a handicap. He then clarified why he wore those large rings over his wrists and ankles. They toned his physical attributes so he wouldn't accidentally go too far during a fight and kill someone. That was a big no-no since he practiced Buddhism's key principles. His revelation caught the attention of the Super Ninja, who was one of the nine people who learned of this at the DOA Tournament because of Raidou's nosy behavior. This led to why he asked for help so suddenly.
Yao finally explained his hand in DOATEC Germany's destruction and rescuing the winner of DOA 1. In addition, Yao slew a Tengu who escaped the Demon World and his destruction of the medium between the demon and human worlds. All of that cumulated to the fatigue that led him to pass out.
"And that's everything," Yao explained. "Now you know, Sayu-chan. While I prefer running the store, I help Ryu and his allies at times. So now what? Are you going to leave me?"
Her response was tightening the hold on his hand. "I can never leave a person who properly atoned for his wrongdoings and pushed himself to the limit for the sake of self-improvement. Your criminal past will stay there because you want it to be. I'm going nowhere, あなた. You're too good for anyone else, as they will abuse your kindness. I promise you I won't do the same."
"Thank you, Sayu-chan. You truly are too good for me."
"Stop it." The pair shared a deep kiss, Sayuri coming on to the Sennin as their free hands intersected. "I... I love you, あなた."
The Sennin caressed Sayuri's face softly. "I love you too, Sayuri."
The pair shared another kiss, with Sayuri subconsciously giving herself to Yao, her body falling over his. A deep blush was on the nurse's face when the couple separated again.
"Sayu-chan?"
"Yes, あなた?"
"Stay with me tonight. I don't care if we don't do anything. I want to hold you in my arms."
Sayuri already decided she would do that, feeling around his chest. "Ok..." She then expressed her desires. "But I want us to go to the next level."
"What do you mean by that?" Yao inquired.
His eyes then widened at the sight of his girlfriend removing her plain white tee to reveal her bosom covered with a silver bra. The pair mutually agreed to go steady since the last woman Yao shared a bed with screwed him in more ways than one. With her final act of lustfully kissing her revealed to be Sennin of a boyfriend, Sayuri's intentions couldn't be any clearer.
"Yao, make love to me tonight."
Whoo, that was getting steamy.
You know, I tend to outdo the first scene whenever I do something like this. But this scene reeks of familiarity for some reason. I can't put my finger on it. (Must be from a Prompt Response or something) I didn't have much to go on, but I had more than when I made the Seirah (Whip) confession and ran with it. Would the scene be just as good if I did it first? Probably, since I decided to make the context more serious than the Tamaki scene. Both of these fine ladies did their job well.
Maybe you'll see them soon? Who knows?
A/N: Alright I promise this is the last time I visit Yao's OTPs unless I ask my editor to write some more with our leading ladies here. Let me know what you think with a PM or a Review and I'll see you all later.
