A/N: AD: I figured it was time to do one with all the redux challenges I've edited. So I'll be writing Jai again with some noticeable changes from the previous edition. Read through it to find out. Might do actual characters one day; we'll see.
A-B-C Challenge: Jai (Redux)
A): Aftercare (What they do with their s/o after sex)
Pillowtalk. Anything is on the table, no matter how minuscule or unimportant. It gives Jai a chance to know where her mind is and what he can do to either ease or stimulate it. All of his focus is squarely on you.
B): Bodypart (Favorite body part of their s/o)
Tough choice, but it's the hips. A woman's hips that sway while walking is a sign of confidence. Not always to flirt, but to assert herself in a manner that commands attention. Jai is subtle when it comes to staring to not give himself away.
C): Cum (Where do they cum? How much?)
Never inside his partner for the night unless they specifically ask. Jai isn't the type to fool around and ensures both sides come to an agreement on what occurs between them. He wouldn't be much of a man without doing so. A Captain's pay can only go so far.
D): Dick (How well do they cope when sucked off?)
Enough to keep control of himself. Jai relishes your handling of him during a delicate moment. Affectionate hair caresses are to encourage you to go at a comfortable pace. Don't be surprised to hear a moan here or there. Do your best to make eye contact.
E): Experience (How good are they in bed?)
Jai knows the female anatomy unlike any Edenian in the realm. His knowledge is unparalleled in how he can turn each woman into mush with his tender care and honey-like wordplay. Of course, he saves his best work for whoever is viewed as 'unapproachable.'
F): Favorite Position
Doggy, with spooning as a close second. Jai prefers to have his partner's back against his chest as it grants him unrivaled intimacy. Expect neck nibbles, sweet nothings in your ear, an occasional hair pull, and movements that will leave you breathless after numerous affectionate kisses.
G): Goofy (Do they crack jokes or are they serious?)
Usually not his forte, Jai will sometimes utter a quip to judge your reaction. It's more so to relax in what can be a tense but enjoyable atmosphere. Nothing personal, as he'll tell you afterward. Lovemaking isn't always supposed to be serious.
H): Honesty (How honest are they?)
There is a thing as being too honest to a fault. Jai falls right into that category through no fault of his own. Whether or not his companion accepts his honesty depends on their personal preferences.
I): Intimacy (How intimate are they? Fav intimate activities/gestures?)
Can you say, Mr. Smooth Operator? Jai isn't afraid to show how much he's into you in private or public places. In his mind, there's nothing to be ashamed of. You're his girl, and he's damn proud of it. Alas, Jai does ensure not to go overboard, less he runs you away.
J): Jerk off (How often do they jerk off?)
Jai remains self-conscious of this act. It's on occasion and only when you're present.
K): Kinks (Do they have any kinks?)
Nails dug into or raking his back, 69, grabbing his hair while in an afro. The more daring, the better.
L): Location (Where do they like to do it?)
You'll be surprised to hear that Jai and his lady one night actually engaged in the King and Queen's throne room while they were out on vacation. To this day, no one knows of this. Of course, Jai had to tidy up the area before they returned or risk having his rank ripped off his military dress.
M): Motivation (What turns them on?)
Said before in letter B. A woman's provocative confidence is the best way to grab his attention. There are plenty of ladies who embody that in Edenia. Want to stand out from the rest? Accept his invitation to the annual Knights' Ball. That tells him you're serious.
N): Naughty secret (What is the secret they keep?)
Jai is no stranger to late nights. He was once able to bed four separate women in one night. All of them were sisters.
O): Oral (Would they rather give or receive?)
Makes no difference since Jai will get a rise out of it either way. Tonguing your core sends shivers down his spine. He's already plotting how to please you for the night. So skilled, he won't even use his hands for better leverage. Unless you want to see stars.
P): Pace (Are they slow and sensual or fast and rough)
Preferably, Jai wants to love you 'right.' Meticulous best describes his approach, so your body yearns for unadulterated pleasure. But he's not above banging you until the bed collapses. There's a reason for that nearby pillow.
Q: Quickie (Yay or nay? Their opinions on quickies?)
It's not his favorite option, but Jai won't outright dismiss the notion. Just be prepared if he does make up his mind.
R): Rounds (How many rounds can they go in bed?)
He'll only go as far as his companion can despite being able to last the entire night. The last thing Jai wants to do is not get a second date.
S): Support (Do they help each other and/or praise each other during sex?)
Being involved with a military official is no easy task, specifically with a top-ranking officer. That alone makes you Jai's top priority if not focused on training or something else altogether.
T): Thrill (Do they like to try new things or stick to the same ol' routine?)
Why remain traditional when you can do something exciting? New positions or techniques are always welcomed to help keep the spark. However, Jai will do so with someone he's familiar with and experienced.
U): Unfair (Do they like to tease a lot in bed?)
The very definition of the word. Jai will have you begging no matter what he's doing.
V): Volume (How loud or quiet are they in bed)
Quite loud, with intermixed moans and groans between both parties as the session progresses.
W): Wildcard (Random fluff or NSFW HC you have for this character)
Jai managed to complete a feat many considered impossible, if not suicidal. Bedding both Jade and Tanya multiple times over. How did he do it? A small intervention on behalf of their mothers. The sounds occurring from the General's private quarters made even Sindel blush. Kitana still can't wrap her head around the thought of those two putting their differences aside. Yet, they've done what she could only dream of doing. Let's just say Rain was fuming after hearing the rumor.
X): Xray (How big are they? Flaccid and Erect? Trimmed or not?)
7.5 inches with a healthy girth. Jai always keeps that area shaven for cleanliness, even his accessories.
Y): Yearning (How well do they cope when you or s/o are away and they're horny?)
Not as much as many may believe since Jai is a patient man. Most can tell he's acting differently because of his neutral demeanor. Yet there are still limits on how long he'll wait, mainly if you are busy with your own engagements.
Z): Zzz (Do they fall asleep straight after sex or wait for you or s/o to sleep first?)
Always a gentleman, Jai will wait until you either fall asleep or drift off with you. However, a bubble bath could help ease you into a peaceful slumber.
Bonus Question: True Pairings (Who do you think as their creator would be best for him/her?):
Before getting to the actual question, I'm pretty sure my partner would like to know how Jai was created. Part of the inspiration and design came from my own background. Some can be contributed by other people's OCs while adding some unique features here and there. Also, parts of video games, anime, and what I see daily in the military. Add in all those parts, Jai was born. I used all the leading fighting game franchises (Street Fighter, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur, Tenchu, and King of Fighters) and a splice of anime (Yu Yu Hakusho & Rurouni Kenshin) throughout the process. Take something from each and add it to Jai.
I won't reveal too much but think of the main protagonist from each for subtle clues.
Now for the other true pairings.
The same approach I used for creating Jai will help determine who best fits with him. I'll start with Tekken since it's still my favorite out of my list of four. A few stand out as viable options. For starters, I view Julia Chang as someone who is just as grounded. She and Jai would get along instantly. Barely any conflict could arise between these two. Jai would have to break past her shy exterior, which is hardly a challenge. Next is Master Raven, but only because of a platonic relationship. She shares Jai's sense of justice though it seems unrealistic that feelings would develop here. Plus, I still have her with Raven. (More so a personal choice rather than going with canon)
Onto Street Fighter. This one is admittedly harder. I follow Salty's position of not pairing my OCs with the prominent women as it wouldn't make sense. I tend to stick with characters who don't factor into the main story as much and are seen as either quiet or mysterious despite being support characters. Two characters fit this description for me.
Rose and Crimson Viper.
The former is criminally underrated in my eyes. Jai would become entranced by her mysterious allure and the burden she carries in stopping Bison. Rose seems like a person who won't let anyone in to know her thoughts. Perhaps Jai can change that. However, he does face some competition from Guy. This would still be an interesting dynamic to create. Next is Maya, or Crimson Viper. Cut from the same cloth as Master Raven, she is a CIA agent focused on stopping all threats to the world. That involves Bison, Seth, Juri, and others. Like the previous section, Jai admires her work from afar and likes her young daughter. Laura (of course), Juli, and Ibuki were other choices.
Mortal Kombat, quite possibly the toughest one to go through because of the roster's diversity and complexity. You already know who the top choice from this franchise will be, so I won't bother listing why. Let's move on to the next.
Tanya. There was no way I couldn't have this dastardly woman on my list in my right mind. Look past all the deeds she's committed. She's a tall, slender, and dangerously beautiful girl who can fulfill any desire you have. So long as you meet her lofty expectations. What did you expect? She's a part of the Edenian hierarchy. Not to mention her tactician skills and her sway in the political domain. And let me not forget her fantastic appeal as an evil woman who can charm you without much effort. As far as other women go, I would say Li Mei, Sareena (Not copying because of Benji. Sareena deserves a lot more love), Kitana, and Jacqui. (Despite being a bit bland, she could be a good match for Jai)
Bonus Section: Questions from my partner (Questions about the character that he has. Ask as many as you want):
We've already touched on Mystique due to the Confession Prompt V2. Besides her, who outside of the Video Game do you think Jai would have good chemistry with?
Ooh, good question right off the bat. When you first pitched the idea of the Confession v3 prompt, I had already thought of an idea involving Jai with Vixen from the DC comics. However, I decided to hold off on that dynamic for now as I need to do more research on her. Others would include Yoruichi, Black Cat (Felicia Hardy), Kaoru (Rurouni Kenshin), and Storm.
How heated would the discussion/argument/battle be if Jai and Benji fought over Jade's affections?
Somehow, I knew this was coming.
Jai sees no reason to fight or argue with Benji over a woman. He has too much respect for himself and his fellow man, especially someone of Benji's stature. Additionally, he doesn't want this to turn into a Jade/Tanya rivalry that does more harm than good. That, and not wanting to invoke Callie Ann's wrath either. All I'll say is that Jai isn't one to run away from good, healthy competition for Jade's affections. But not at the cost of alienating an Edenian brother. What's in his favor is that he's serving alongside Jade in the military.
In a philosophical debate, who would Jai have the best chance of beating out of the OCs you've worked with? Who would destroy him on the opposite end?
You're on fire with these questions!
It's hard to tell with most of your OCs able to handle their own. For Jai, it's not about winning a debate so to speak but more so seeing something from another angle. But to answer the question, I would say Kole and Wes are winnable.
Xan, and by extension Kim, might be the toughest but mostly due to their personalities, which Jai is used to as some Edenian Knights are similar in that way.
Yao would prove to be interesting. Debates between Jai, Koga, and Benji could go on for hours on end with no clear winner. Not sure where to put King, and I know for a fact that Callie will attempt to antagonize Jai. It's who she is. The most intriguing debates might occur with Mai and Ilah because of their wisdom.
Out of the GbNF Cast who would Jai get along with the easiest? Who would annoy him the most, and who would he downright dislike?
Easiest would be the Maddox siblings and their family because Jai knows what that's like in his own family. Kole's antics might put off Jai, but he'll learn to accept it. Callie could be in the same boat, but Jai knows she's become calmer as the Messenger.
The people who he might dislike are Xan and Yao, mostly because Jai sees them as people who think they are above the rules and don't consider others before themselves. (Xan more so than Yao because he always seemed confrontational) Yet, the patience in Jai can tolerate their behavior for the most part. Sometimes, the best solution is a simple conversation.
Besides Benji and Callie, who would you want Jai to collaborate with out of my OCs?
No doubt it's Koga at the top of the list, but I also wouldn't mind Jai with Mai and Ilah as well. The knowledge those two possess could help him in more ways than one. He's always been a history buff and will have numerous questions to ask them about their realm.
In my first question, you mentioned Black Cat. Seeing as she acts similarly to Tanya, what is it about Felicia that Jai would be so enamored by? With Huey, it's because she makes him break his wise demeanor and constantly flushes him.
It's her wiles and provocative nature that Jai can't seem to ignore or dimiss. You are right as Black Cat and Tanya are eerily similar to each other. The only noticeable difference is that Tanya is evil and willing to kill. Black Cat will never stoop to that level. Plus, things will never be dull around Black Cat.
How would Jai react to Dakini (both Present and Adult.), Ruby, Randy, and Ted?
Somewhat disappointed since Jai had always wanted Jade to be his. But believe it or not, he loves children. They are the light in what can be a cruel, dark world. He said it himself: 'I was a child once. So I know what it's like to go through the struggles they have.'
If anything, Jai would treat those kids as if they were his own. And if her parents readily accept it, Jai could show Dakini a thing or two to help her in the midst of battle.
Out of the OCs, who do you think Jai would never befriend? Whether going out of his way or not? In another timeline who would Jai consider an enemy out of the OCs?
Probably the toughest question you've asked to this point.
Jai can almost get along with anyone despite having a small disagreement here and there. My first thought was Callie would never be befriended by Jai but changed that instantly because he respects the hell out of that woman.
Honestly, it would still be Xan. He's still too much of a recluse for Jai's case for anything beneficial to form. Even if each respect the other's ability as a warrior. As far as enemies, it would be Xan, possibly Yao because of the powerful scrolls he's learned. Jai sees that as a threat if he didn't meet Yao beforehand and know of his reasoning. Wes could be added here too as Jai doesn't trust most people who employ magic.
You said that Koga was at the top of OCs you'd like to see him work with. Who's at the very bottom and why?
Not that there's anything wrong with your other OCs, but I believe the least likely would be a tie between King and Kole. This is only because there has been little to no interaction between them. Jai can't make any observations or assumptions due to a lack of interactions. It's no one's fault, just the way things are. (Then again, you can say the same for almost all of your OCs. I digress)
