A/N: On these Challenges, I tackled the Maddox Siblings twice each. But there was one I neglected. The Matriarch, Edenian Swan/Siren herself, Mai Maddox. Now we finally wrap the Maddox Family up since I won't be doing Dakini on behalf of her being a child. Let's go!
A-B-C Challenge: Mai Maddox
A): Aftercare (What they do with their s/o after sex):
Pillowtalk is what's next. Mai barely partakes in sex anymore due to being a mother of two by birth and three by her children's marriages. (Lao, Jade, and Sareena) She may let her motherly instincts take control and hold you like a child. Mai would do small but loving acts like caressing your face or stroking your hair.
B): Bodypart (Favorite body part of their s/o):
As a Doctor, Mai has learned to love the entire body, flaws and all. She knows how to get pleasure in countless ways, thanks to her limitless knowledge of the humanoid anatomy.
C): Climax (How much do they cum? How visible?):
Due to rarely partaking since becoming a mother, Mai's orgasms are always explosive. She has enough control of her body to not scream and wake up those who are near her and her partner.
D): Dirty Talk (How good are they? Are they even interested?):
Mai... is awe-inspiring at Dirty Talk. If she's in the mood, you'll be as well, whether you wish for it or not. It's borderline unfair.

Being over 70,000 years old, Mai brings a lot of maturity into the bedroom. She knows what she wants and will always get the best out of her partner.

Mai loves holding her partner so missionary is her favorite. Cowgirl is a close second as she likes being in control.

Where do you think Callie gets her attitude from? Mai can be serious, but she's mostly jovial. Especially compared to Destiny and Ilah who are considered the straight women in their friendship. She trademarks "Maddox Sass" and out of the entire Maddox Family, she may be the best at insulting her opponents. She's superior with her vernacular to Benji, Callie, and Dakini.
H): Honesty (How honest are they?):
Mai is honest, to a fault. But her criticism is met with undivided attention and sealed lips since she demands respect even from enemies.
I): Intimacy (How intimate are they? Fav intimate activities/gestures?):
She's professional but never fails to show intimacy to the man she loves. Whether to Joe Maddox, Fujin, or whoever she may get paired up with.
J): Juicy (How wet do they get?):
Mai has a lot of control and quite frankly has heard everything due to her age. You trying to dirty talk her will most likely be met with cute chuckles and a role reversal. No one has gotten her panties wet before, even Joseph. (AD: Woah. That's experience on another level)
K): Kinks (Do they have any kinks?):
It's well established that Mai's a phenomenal singer. There have been times when her partner has requested, if not pleaded, for her to serenade them. It doesn't matter how tough you are, Mai's angelic voice will always leave you in a pacified state.
L): Location (Where do they like to do it?):
Straight to the point, Mai beds men in a bedroom or nowhere at all. No substitutes for the Edenian Swan.
M): Motivation (What turns them on?):
Men who can stand up for themselves and for her. While she has absolutely no problem standing up for her lover, Mai really appreciates it if that is a two-way street. Platonically, just don't be an ass, and be respectful and Mai will like you automatically.
N): Naughty secret (What is the secret they keep?):
Mai doesn't have anything to hide, laying everything out on the table. This is why it's hard to insult her. She knows her flaws, and people who get under her skin are liable to die soon after accomplishing said feat.
O): Oral (Would they rather give or receive?):
Mai can do both but likes testing her partner's oral abilities before showcasing hers. Do a good enough job, and Mai will happily return the favor - with interest.
P): Pace (Are they slow and sensual or fast and rough):
Mai is too old to do a fast-paced session. She's always preferred a slow, sensual session even when she was young. Intimacy is her favorite part of sex. Being a pillar of support is her second favorite part. Her motions of PDA to see her partner's reaction motivate her. A fast session won't allow her to do any of that.
Q): Quickies (Yay or nay? Their opinions on quickies?):
Absolutely not. Mai is the OC who's the most against a quickie. To her, quickies are a waste of time and childish. Sex can wait, no matter how good you are in the sack.

Mai can go quite a while due to giving birth twice. Sleeping with her will truly 'Test your Might.'

She's a welcoming and unwavering pillar of support in every possible avenue, including sex. Mai is masterful at leading and directing anyone in the right direction.
T): Thrill (Do they like to try new things or stick to the same ol' routine?):
Being a master illusionist, Mai can fabricate any fantasy you wish. Becoming intimate with her is never devoid of new experiences.
U): Underwear (What kind do they wear?):
Pretty simple on this front. Black or White, matching bra and panties.
V): Volume (How loud or quiet are they in bed):
Mai's pretty quiet during the act. But that won't stop her from directing her partner to do things differently or tell them how good a job they're doing. They always comply with her requests.
W): Wildcard (Random fluff or NSFW HC you have for this character):
Mai has so much Top energy that regardless of who's her partner, they're almost always the bottom. Even the people we know she's been within Joseph and Fujin. The scary part is that she does this effortlessly. Additionally, she gave Benji his attractive physical features. Like Dakini looks like Jade, Benji practically looks like a male Mai, where Callie took the best features of her and Joseph. So Mai has just as many lookers as her son, if not more.
X): X-Factor (Do they dress up? (Meaning what clothes would they wear) Do they Shave?):
When we met the Matriarch of the Maddox Family, she wore a bodycon cheongsam that flaunted her figure. Mai isn't afraid of dressing to the nines. At her kids' wedding, so many of the goers single and married complimented and flirted with her since the only people who looked more heavenly than her were the brides.
Y): Yearning (How well do they cope when you or s/o are away and they're horny?):
Mai can wait for as long as needed. You don't got to worry about that. If anything, you might be more impatient than her. If left unchecked, that will annoy her. Be careful.
Z): Zzz (Do they fall asleep straight after sex or wait for you or s/o to sleep first?):
Not at all. Mai will happily indulge in conversation before retiring for the night. Sometimes, she might take a bath to ease her muscles after the act. She might even ask you to join her.
Bonus Question: True Pairings (Who do you think as their creator would be best for him/her?):
Technically, I'm asking myself this question, but it's a good one. Who would fit with Mai the best?
As a widow, that makes this difficult. When Mai was single, she was sought after by every single Edenian male. However, she wanted Joseph and no one else. Mai gave her silent but deadly charisma to Benji (Salty: even if he doesn't know how to properly use it. AD: Something we can explore in the newest arc). If she wants someone, she'll get them. She admired Fujin for being forthright in explaining what he wanted. (Which was her) Hence why she gave him a shot. Though the pair view each other as respective life partners as opposed to a couple. They have both consented to a non-sexual relationship. (AD: I can see why this would be the case)
Anyone who Mai would actually date would know how much of a catch she is and do their best to maintain the couple's happiness. Mai would certainly do the same.
Men who are gentlemanly would be the most stereotypical but most fitting. Not to the point that they look down on others, so someone like Kagami or Amakusa are automatic nos. Someone like Dudley would work, but there might be some tension since he does act a little like that during the Street Fighter 3 trilogy as he does call his opponents gutter trash.
An interesting pairing would be her and Edgemaster. The wisdom the two have in tandem would make for interesting dialogue, that's for sure. In the world of Tekken, she might comedically have Heihachi pursue only to be put in his place without fail every time he tries. (AD: Comedy gold) But she'd most likely be the talk of the town, the entire (legal aged) cast members giving her second, third, and fourth glances.
How about in her own verse? Mai won't actively pursue any of the men. She has more important things to do. Hence why Fujin's advances were surprising but still welcomed. So any character bold to even try would get in her good graces regardless of the outcome. Though there would be definitive nos from the MK cast as well. The villains for starters. Another would be Johnny Cage. Kuai Liang would make a solid attempt, same with Scorpion. But seeing as they are major characters, that's against my rules for making pairs.
As a sidenote, Mai is one of my favorite OCs and is refreshing to write for. I don't give her a lot of time to narrate, but it's normally a treat for myself since I like her so much. I guess I did a better job with making her personality than I thought.
Bonus Section: Questions from my Editor (Questions about the character that my Editor has.):
How much does Mai enjoy being a grandmother?
She enjoys it immensely. It's one of the things Mai adores since rejoining the Maddox Family. If you remember when we all met Dakini, Mai was the first of the ladies to accept her as a family member. Safe to say Mai looked forward to being a grandmother from the moment she gained two new daughters.
Other than sewing, what hobbies does Mai partake in?
Thanks to her charisma and willingness to help people experience new things, Mai convinced the Royal Family to open a Nightclub in Edenia. On some occasions after finishing her teaching at the Wu-Shi Academy, she goes there to sing to the patrons.
And we thought the Edenian people liked her before.
Mai is the only Maddox that didn't need redemption in the Edenian people's eyes, so when they learned that she can sing very well, the entire Edenian Populus might have developed a crush on the Maddox Matriarch. (AD: Not surprising in the slightest)
Would Mai do anything different about reuniting with her children?
The only thing Mai would change was to show more spine and reveal herself to them sooner instead of waiting for them to begin their adulthood. Her long abandonment of her children is the only thing Mai has genuine guilt over until Callie forgave her.
What can we expect of Mai and Fujin going forward?
As long as the two are together, Mai and Fujin are a package deal in scenes. The pair may add another layer of levity, much like Kim does for the most part. Like I said before, I rarely involve Mai as much as I should. I include her where it makes sense but as a side character. Having her narrate will also include Fujin, much like the last two times I did this.
Are Mai and Sindel are good terms? (Considering what was revealed in the previous Arc)
Not exactly, though not through lack of effort.
Mai knows that Sindel was truthful about Jerrod's abuse and constant adultering. However, it doesn't change the fact that her husband executed Joseph and Okada. (Her husband and older brother in spirit since Okada and Joseph were as thick as thieves) Mai was the one who introduced Okada to Ilah since they are best friends. The hostility towards the Dacarthi Family is hard to erase. While she may love her daughters as if they were their own (Mai is a better mother to Kitana and Mileena than Sindel is, in a way), Mai forgiving Sindel will take some time.
Eventually, their relations will improve.
(AD: I believe it should. It wasn't as if Sindel was a part of her husband's deeds, though she could've made a better attempt to stop him. And we can't forget about Jade's parents either)
Is her previous marriage to Joseph preventing Mai from being more than intimate with Fujin?
No. Mai's emotional scene with Callie in Arc III and her wardrobe change was a turning point for her character. She'll never forget her first love in Joseph. But she finally learned that the best way to remember Joseph is through her children, step-children (which conveniently includes her best friend's daughter), and grandchildren.
The lack of intimacy is because of their home.
Raiden is constantly pushing Fujin to take his services as a deity more seriously, which means being less friendly and more 'godly' to mortal kind. (AD: That could prove to be a complication later. I just have that feeling) Even though Mai is older than them. Raiden is telling Fujin to be more divine. Mai and Amaterasu (Who not only is the oldest of the three Divine Siblings, but the only one conceived by Izanagi and Izanami as opposed to being created like her younger brothers. More on that if I do an A-B-C Challenge for Amaterasu as she's a cast member now) are constant reminders that being more kind and embracing mortals is better for him mentally.
Lastly, Fujin cares for Mai deeply, but they both know she's past the age to conceive another child. Not that they could get pregnant since Fujin is infertile according to one of his dialogues with Sonya. But still, they know better than to risk it. Plus, with Mai being the oldest member of the White Lotus Society, she took a motherly role to everyone, Fujin included. Raiden is too 'divine' to not allow her to care for him as she does for Fujin, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, the other monks, and even Bo' Rai' Cho.
