"I used to be in such a hurry all the time. Everything was so urgent. Now I figure, if it's going to happen, it'll happen when it happens. I'm not going anywhere; she's not going anywhere. What's the rush, right?"
"Sawyer Brooke Scott. Why aren't you dressed for school?" Lucas asked. As he entered her bedroom. To find her still in her PJ's.
"I'm staying home with momma Brooke. She's sick." Sawyer replied.
Lucas needed to go to the office. And was running late as it is.
"Okay. If that's what you want." Lucas said.
Brooke was relieved when she felt started to lessen.
She was surprised when the bedroom door opened and Sawyer showed up.
Brooke smiled warmly.
"I wanted to keep you company momma Brooke."
"That's sweet honey but i don't want you to get sick too." Brooke replied.
"That's okay. We're family and family takes care of each other." Sawyer replied.
Brooke had to know it what she felt was a virus or something much more. Like a pregnancy.
And she eventually got her answer. With a positive pregnancy test staring back at her in the master bedroom.
"You are receiving a call from Tree Hill Women's facility. Do you accept it?" The operator asked. Lucas clutched his cellphone tightly. And closed the door to his office.
