When i saw her already seated at the table. With appetizers and drinks placed down already. I wondered if i wrote down the time to meet wrong.
"Am i late?" Lucas asked.
"No. I was just early and i know lunch isn't that long for either of us. I got our favorites off the menu."
"How's working on you're new novel going?" Brooke asked. Taking a sip from her tall glass.
"Easier then i expected. The writing team and I work well together."
"What's going on with you?" Lucas asked.
"I'm pregnant." Brooke announced.
Lucas's eyes went wide. A stunned expression going across his face.
"But i thought. You said it wasn't possible." Lucas replied.
"I mean once i got that diagnosis we didn't see a point in using protection and besides that scare ages ago. I had no reason to believe that i could get pregnant."
"This is a miracle. Our love is gifting me the chance to be a mother to a child of my own. And i'm going to do it."
"Whether or not you want to be involved."
"I love you. But being a mom is what i'm meant for." Brooke stated matter of fact.
"So what i want doesn't matter at all?" Lucas asked.
"Does me telling you about this change you're thoughts on having more kids?" Brooke asked.
"I don't know. I can't answer that. I love you. I know that." Lucas replied.
"You wanted a big family. We can have that. You just have to be willing to try. I want you involved. But i won't force you."
"And i will remain in Sawyer's life no matter what." Brooke proclaimed.
