'Thanks for sharing your umbrella with me. I would've hated to have this suit ruined.' Hetty said in gratitude.
'Chivelry ain't dead yet.' Granger replied.
'I swear, I had zero idea that umbrella of mine had a massive hole in it. Heck, how did it even get such a hole?'
The truth was the hole was put there by a large rifle shot and Granger had been using it as a 'taking a peep to see if the shooters were still there' precaution. But he wasn't about to tell her that.
'Eh. It's a real mystery!'
'Oh well, it's no big deal. Probably got used as a shooters precaution or something.'
Stunned silence.
'I'm not going to ask. Just going to say I know what bullet holes look like.' said Hetty.
