Timeline: The week after Past and Present

Synopsis: After moving to the Atlantis outpost, now resembling the ship to his favorite tv show, Daniel Jackson embarks upon a mission to ensure the safety and stability. To protect Earth, after finding the device meant to bring alter ego of the Ancients. And to the Milky Way Galaxy, only now a new threat has emerged in the form of the SG's 1 and 3 desperation to protect themselves from the Kingdom of Queen Shyla.

As they and the NID have become a severe threat, to him, his new team and command, and most of all. To his new family, as the medical department prepare assign him to the SGA, and second him. And on a mission of trade with the Goa'uld, one that will ultimately decide the fate of Earth. And as he greets his own destiny, and in the form of the Ancients, as he becomes the leader of the Earth side of the Fifth Race.

Warnings: This story is going to continue to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.

With this chapter it's going with the U.N.'s announcement to the rest of the planet, that Daniel has found the device. And collected a bounty worth close to tredecillion now, in gold, silver and jewels. As the texts from the collection, are passed to scholars that read Latin, as everyone can educate themselves in Ancient language. As Daniel prepares for his mission to return to Shyla's planet, as he waits for the delivery.

Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration here. Also with this chapter Daniel is telling the public, the SGA has reactivated now, and with it.

That he's working trade to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's preparing to make changes that are to connect to the quadrilogy. In the series, that I created previously, this story and it's followers are following his life.

In the SGA as the mission was sanctioned finally, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 1: The Mission Begins, The Nox And The Tok'ra

The U.N.:

Getting on the international press com, the British Ambassador Ivor Roberts made his announcement, as he came aboard to the stand now to address everyone. "Just hearing back from the Enterprise expedition team, Colonel Jackson reported success. That he has found the device meant to unlock the door, between our galaxy and the Ori. And with it, the treasure trove discovered is 985 duodcillion in gold, silver and jewels."

"So monetary amounts are solved for the expedition team, where his discoveries lead us over the said 9 month trial basis in the transfer between bases now. Only time will tell, all we can do it pray and hope for the best, that the system lords take our offer, because if they don't and the NID and the SGC CIA keep provoking them…" he said and they nodded as Major General George Hammond nodded in stern agreement to that opinion.

"And that's the end of this game, you guys need to leave well enough alone, gentlemen, don't press your luck, you have no idea what you're dealing with." he said sternly to this and Lieutenant General, Drs. Darrel Matheson, Dillon Warren. Jake Carson Adam Parker nodded sternly in agreement to that opinion then firmly. "As such, now that we deflected the one threat, our biggest concern is Sokar, and Apophis, if he returns now, so as of now."

"That we're authorizing trade of the assembled goods, and coins, jewels, for everything, but weapons. We have the technology now, to shoot down from the surface, if the bargain goes through, we get everything. That Apophis offered us, with the scientific knowledge of Egeria to go with it now finally. So as of today, we of the Senate Appropriations Committee is setting aside the amount of 1.85 billion."

"For the SGA, the rest goes to the SGC military creations act, starting now, so all in the military, I suggest you get to work, time is money, and you've got the money now. Leave the SGA to do the collecting, as we need everything, but military technology and we mean it now. Leave Commander Jackson alone, or you're being arrested for treason." the House Of Representatives leader said sternly and Kinsey swallowed hard then.

In shock to this knowing Daniel's foundation had saved them, his idea had saved Earth, and he had now was about to start getting to work then, in bringing more in then as the months went by. "Dr. Jackson has saved us now, by that collecting, us and everyone in the galaxy, as soon as we find the key to the Jaffa's freedom, that's next on the list. And with them the Tok'ra, but our friends need help our help, just a small nudge here."

"And in the right direction, if we find the other planets that connect to Patrick's character, we know that what technology. That will save us, from death, by the clone being in place, of the live one now. Better medical care, easier ways to harvest food, better ways to control pollution, the possibilities are endless. For some they consider Earth first and to hell with the rest of the galaxy, well I can speak for all of us here."

"In the 'you scratch my back, I scratch your's' technique, whatever Commander Jackson has in mind. We use that now, as clearly, just on his own, he scored two jackpots in 1 week. But if that's one week, what does 3 weeks to 6 weeks give us exactly, but and I'm saying this now, just why should he be doing anything for you?" The senator said and they all paled at that remark, realizing if he could get progress done.

And in only one week then what would 2.5 months bring, in technology collecting, instead of translations now. "But things start slowing down, once he brought in enough now, that we can wait to shut down Apophis, if he returns right now. But him and whoever crosses us next, though with our luck, it's we're wiping out. In Ra's entire family right now next, but currently, our team is saving earth, and one renegade at a time."

"But we keep this up in destroying them, with General Carter leading offworld missions, when combined with the Tok'ra. And they know taking on Earth Tauri is taking their lives in their hands. Especially now that we found the power source to the weapon was found, and the weapon is up and running right now here. But attempting to shut down never worked, they still attacked, so we try negotiations here."

"This works, our only option is by becoming their armies, and destroying the renegades now, the SGA is hereby completely activated, so SGA. Is you get your monetary amount to afford food and clothing, set to 1.85 billion a year, with currently. That you carrying enough food, to last 6 years, this amount is your reserve to afford more, if you start expanding now, just take your time and no rush, we're not here."

"And in any emergencies, so enjoy the hiatus, and we start, when you're ready, if one of you is still recovering from an injury or worse. Your base is connected to us, and we chose the U.S. representative of Joseph Faxon for you. So when you're ready for further members to join in, just give the call. And we of our countries send our best to you." The head of the U.N. said gently then and the SGA military officers, assembled there.

And into the auditorium, said which was the size of the IMAX theaters, in four sections of the ship all nodded gently, as the leader of the outpost turned to look at them gently at that. "Well that's it, we're up and running now, alright again, we start in two weeks. So guys, just base work starting now, no rush right now, but son, as your first session. And with David is next Wednesday, is he decided on a case, of regression therapy here, and with it now here."

"Going with the serum, so cub trapped in an adult body, in case, the regression triggers something." Major General Hank Landry said and he nodded, as his girlfriend wrapped her arms around his shoulders then. "Next question is how far back regressed here, because hypnosis is going to be dangerous and said patient is likely to react now to this." Colonel, Dr., Diane Katherine Pulaski said and he nodded as he answered her gently at the remark then.

"Well we got time, but if this brings out his inner 13 year old, said cub just grew too attached to his psychiatrist. Fortunately there's no worrying about having to let go, because it's the base psychiatrist, these sessions are between Dave, you, me and him only now. Which is the reason Frasier is in such hotwater, she broke the doctor/patient confidentiality clause here." he said gently and they nodded, as they waited to see what the next month would bring them then.

"Score one for Danny, being what he really is, let's see how well he does, in doing this alone, but guys, we need to run tests on these drugs, as the weeks go by." Adam said and Lieutenant General Peter Ferretti and Dillon nodded in stern agreement to that. As they prepared to show the hardcore medical department, what medical science could really provide now…

Jack:

After close to 10 days after his arrest, Colonel Jack O'neill sat there in his cell, thinking over what lead to this then, as he heard Daniel's remark echoing in his ears. Never thinking he'd leave, because of what he said to him, he heard his remark. As he remembered the exchange, in the office, till Teal'C decided to quit too, and came along with him. As they stayed a duo, in program teams, and passed their knowledge to Landry now at the time here right now..

Flashback 1:

"Hey! You should meet the whiz kid they saddled us with while you were out of commission." he said and Daniel ignored even looking at him, as he focused on his packing, knowing Jack was trying to distract him then, hoping he could dissuade him from leaving then. "Robert Rothman. He was my research assistant when I was doing my dissertation. Smart guy, had a good teacher." he said gently then and he said it in disgust then.

"Geek." he said and Daniel sighed. "Yes, you used to call me that." he said and Jack said it. "I was talking about you, so…., how long are we going to be stuck with this guy?" He said to him as Daniel said it. "What do you mean?" he asked and Jack paled, as he heard his voice, realizing this really was forever now at the news and he said it then. "How long are you going to be gone?" he said and Daniel nodded as he answered him then firmly then.

"Didn't…, didn't dad tell you?" he said and he said it. "What? That you quit? Yeah, he told me that, but uh…, come on, we both know you can't stay away." he said to him then, and Hammond shook his head sternly, and Jack started shaking then. "Then I guess we're both wrong cause…, I'm gone." he said and he said it snidely. "Give it a week. You'll miss me." he said and Daniel said it bluntly, at that, in disgusted irritation thrn.

"Yes, all the…salty, bad-tempered insults, all the illogical arguments…" he said, and Jack realized he had enough of his crap as he remembered Sam as flinched, realizing every word to Jack was another piece to their situation. "Ok, you'll miss Carter and Teal'C." he said and he said it, switching it. "I'll miss Teal'C." he said and Jack knew that slammed into her "And you'll miss the excitement: All the new cultures you get to explore, the living history."

"It's the kind of stuff you can't walk away from." he said and she swallowed. "Jack: Up until now, every time I set foot through that 'Gate I was thinking about my wife, maybe I'll see her this time, maybe this is the one. Now every time I go through, it'd just be some.., someplace, where that hope used to be." he said to him. "That's why I can't do it any more…, I hope you understand that." he said and Jack tried one more time.

"The SGC may be the single most important human endeavor for the future of mankind, not bad, huh?…, You said that." he said and he said it in finality then. "The SGC will go on without me, you got by without me when I was for 2 months. after I found Denali, you can do without me now, as I'm transferring departments." he said firmly and then he remembered his going after him 15 months prior now, as he realized then…

Present:

As he heard the next one, with more anger and hatred at him, then he ever thought possible…

Flashback 2:

"Daniel, I. . . . Um, look, what I said on the planet, I didn't mean those things. I…" he heard his voice say to him, and he stepped in "Didn't you, Jack?" Daniel interrupted, his voice tight. "You sounded pretty sincere to me." he said with a growl. "No. I was angry, on edge. I don't know why, I just was. I'm sorry I said those things, Daniel. I wish I could take them all back, but I can't. I know you think that I don't respect you,

but I do. I don't want you to leave SG-1. We need you on the team. You're too valuable for us to lose." he said and Daniel finally turned to Jack and what he saw in the archeologist's eyes made his heart sink like a stone. "Valuable?" he said in a dangerously quiet. "Respect? Was it respect you showed me every time you disregarded my input, ignored what I was saying, and told me to be quiet and do what you told me to?"

"All the times you refused to believe me, refused even to consider what I was telling you, was that respect? Was it respect when you dismissed my claim that I'd been to an alternate reality, thinking instead that I was delusional? Were you being respectful when your first reaction to me telling you about the message Sha're sent through the ribbon device was to suggest that I'd imagined the whole thing and let's not forget."

"The Enkarans and the Gadmeer, where was your trust and respect for me then when I told you that I thought there was another way to solve the problem other than blowing the entire Gadmeer civilization to hell?! You wouldn't even give me the chance to try! I had to go behind your back and just about let myself get blown up in the process! And then there's that whole situation on Euronda, when you ignored me.

"In everything I was trying to tell you, not even giving me the common courtesy. And of allowing me to state my concerns, instead, you insulted and belittled me repeatedly, humiliating me. And in front of an entire roomful of people. Is that your idea of respect?!" he snapped at him then as each word cut through him then to that, of Daniel's bitter, angry words were like lashes on Jack's soul, leaving raw, bleeding wounds.

The last example cut deepest of all, for he was still ashamed by his actions on that occasion as not only did he treat Daniel terribly, he also made a colossal error in judgment. And because he was too stubborn and short-sighted to see past his damned military instincts. And look at the situation from Daniel's point of view as Daniel continued, his voice shaking. With repressed tears then angrily at him, as he looked ready to shove him back forcefully then in anger then.

Now seeing how far gone his anger at him really was, Hathor had finally destroyed him forever, the him he knew was gone, if he ever was that man. Had been effectively destroyed by Hathor in Daniel's eyes, and in his place was the man he'd been before Abydos. But to Daniel he wasn't that man at all now. "And what about Machello's little Goa'uld killers, Jack? You didn't even try to find out if there was some external force causing my hallucinations."

"Instead, you just accepted the belief that I was nuts and let McKenzie lock me up in that padded room, abandoning me there, leaving me alone, and scared, and fighting for my sanity. What that respect, Jack? Was that a display of how valuable I am to you?" he shouted at him then and Jack almost cried out from the pain caused by the archeologist's statement, of all the things he'd done to hurt Daniel, leaving his friend.

And in that mental facility had been the worst. For as long as he lived, he would never forgive himself for not pursuing every possible cause for what was happening to his friend and leaving Daniel alone in that awful place. And what made it even worse was the knowledge that, if their positions had been reversed, Daniel would not have rested until he found out what was causing the illness, he would have instantly believed that something unknown and deadly was the cause.

And he would never have left Jack alone in that place unless he was going off to find the answers, to help his friend. "How can you stand there and say that I'm valuable to you when you're rarely willing to accept. My advice or recommendations without acting like you're pissed about it. It's become abundantly clear to me that my knowledge and skills are of no value to you except for my ability to kill the enemy. When I try to explain something to you, you turn a deaf ear, when I attempt to reason things out."

"That you have no patience to let me work. You'd rather I be a good, obedient soldier who does nothing but follow orders than a thinking. Feeling human being who only wants to do what's right!" he snapped at him and he tried to say it. "Daniel, that's not true! I—" he started to say and he shouted it at him "Shut up! Just shut up!" Daniel screamed, his chest heaving, and he went further then in anger at him then finally.

"When was the last time you told me that I'd done a good job? When was the last time you really appreciated my abilities as an archeologist and a linguist? And when, Jack, when did you ever tell me that you valued my friendship, that you actually gave a damn about me? Where was that so called friendship every time you hurt me with your words, with your lack of respect, and trust, and faith in me? I died, Jack.

I was lying there, dying, and you couldn't even tell me how you felt about me. Instead, you called me a pain in the ass, then oh so grudgingly admitted that maybe, possibly, you might have admired me just a little. Well, thank you so very much, Jack. Those are just the words that a man dying in agony wants to hear!" he screamed at him and Jack staggered back at that as if Daniel had physically struck him, certain that remark,

Thar if he looked down at his chest, he'd see a knife sticking out of his heart, as Daniel's last hate filled words had cut past every last one of his defenses. And pierced straight into his soul, he felt like the worse kind of slime, Daniel was right. He wasn't a friend, as nobody would hurt a friend like he'd hurt Daniel, as Daniel glared at Jack. And seeing the man's face turn white, anguish filling his eyes, he threw the final remark to say their friendship was over.

"I've had it, Jack. I've had enough. I'm tired of being verbally beaten up, of being ignored, ridiculed, insulted and made to feel like I'm worthless. So, just get the hell out of my office and out of my life!" he growled at him angrily then and Jack felt his heart shatter into a million pieces as he realized that no amount of words. Were going to fix what he had done, he had destroyed his friendship with Daniel, overwhelmed by the grief and guilt.

Of that realization, Jack began to turn away….

End Of Flashback 2:

Jack always knew he had a competitive streak in him, but he never knew it could result in this, as a result, as he never exercised common sense ever. When in the field, and as a result here, Daniel knew if he never heard the words, he would take it. Never thinking what he drank was drugged, and resulting in this, as his mind completely snapped in fear of ever returning. Trying to turn it back on him, he saw to his complete shock, Daniel not drained or anything.

But bouncing with energy and he realized he was testing what turned him and Sam into party animals, and seeing if the technology could undo it. Before suggesting he could work at releasing him, and send him home, as he stayed and continued with the trade. But that was never an option, in his eyes, he needed him to make their plans work now. Before he realized now, Daniel did that on purpose, and pushed all three of them so deep into the hole now.

They were trapped for life as the field report came in from the next news broadcast. "Coming on sight, the treaty created between Earth and Lord Cronus and Emperor Yu. Now has become a total success, deciding on a perfect deal, one that insures it Earth's complete safety from the tyranny of the renegade system lords for life. Under the services of Lord Cronus, Emperor Yu, and when found Queen Egeria now."

"Egeria, who the Tok'ra queen now, so there we go, we're safe from the goa'uld, now I know some think the way that Captain Maxwell did. And does are thinking this trade deal, is just a ruse, to give them breathing room and time regroup. But deliberately antagonizing them, you're sentencing all of us to death right now. So I'm speaking for everyone when I say this to you, and you know who you are right now people."

"Just leave it alone, we have the technology now, and we have the weapons, Doctor Jackson collected technology that. In one year gives us the fleet of our dreams, so out of this world, we have the power to take the fight to the enemy. So as you would say, with nothing to defend ourselves, not true I might add here. We have that technology, in two ways, we're becoming everything the races want us to be right now here."

"So this is your warning now gentlemen, just drop it, this feud between you and Commander Jackson. And before we have all of you shipped to Shyla's kingdom, you got me!" he said and Jack went white in fear at the threat now, never thinking Daniel could get something that good to protect them, or he offered something that would insure it now….

The SGA/The Enterprise-Daniel/Landry's POV:

After a mission of success, the enthusiasm was flying high for the outpost, as they settled into their lives together, after only a week together. The ship crew had become family, and they were like the crew themselves after only 2 weeks in now. The command was now officially activated and on its feet, and the missions had activated. As the missions were no more than a week long, one or two teams at a time, as they now all saw Landry as a great commander then.

Meeting with the team psychiatrist he said it gently. "How's he doing right now?" he asked and the doctor smiled. "The nightmares are lessening, but the treatment is working right now, I gained several pieces the little brats never wanted me to uncover here though. But the effects of the pheromone, they get getting repeated dosing, so though she left the base. The effects remain, and two here right now, with this being the only option to find Sha're now."

"It's stay on and deal with the cruel mistreatment, or leave, and he's forever banned from coming back, he works the base line program, or doesn't work the program at all." he said and Landry crossed his arms. "And we just circumvented that by his being transferred me to, what else?" he asked and he crossed his arms then sternly. "The little bastard crossed the line, saying if he didn't get with the program, he was just leaving him there, but he was on medical."

"And psychiatric orders, quite frankly I think the little shit just wants rid of him, so though he claims they need him there, why put up with this crap right now. He's sick to death of him treating him like crap, and now shows him what that feels like right now. As Daniel just left him in the hands of the psychiatric teams, Carter with him, as they see how this feels. On a fast notation here, to be on the safe side, I put his strength to that of his 13 year old self."

"During his therapy, but in between missions, I got him there, till I'm sure the flashbacks have stopped completely right now. From what Sarah told me, he hasn't missed a dose, since I put him on it right now, I just hope that the ring creates dream suppressants. That mixing the two together, they, the said patient, gets the rest their bodies crave right now. So I'll wait and see what he brings back, but otherwise he's almost cleared for duty." he said and Landry nodded.

After the ten days ended he got to meet the rest of the crew he became friends with, and his new psychiatrist, as, after revealing the truth to the trauma of Hathor. The base head psychiatrist, Captain David Henderson took charge then, after viewing the images of what happened from the day he started, hearing truth after truth after truth. He knew what Carter had done had completely changed things, there was no taking it back, as Daniel revealed it.

His memory of the sexual assault to him, before he started regression therapy, and the therapy had been a success now, the little boy of 9 to 13 he'd been with Dr. James Rosen. Had come out for him and he latched on tightly with him as he recovered, seeing the happiness and relief. In his girlfriend's eyes, he knew she was more then relieved, he gotten the therapy. He needed to heal, as Daniel had bonded to his team and he saw the young man for who he really was then.

A skilled young officer of going on 35, the job there in Atlanta now was suiting him and he stepped up, becoming the true military officer he showed himself to be. To him, the job had never been more fun, knowing then, he had never felt more alive. Now that he was free of the duo, and Colonel Robert Makepeace, and knowing the young man made his decision. He decided then he was never going back as he prepared to go see the best friend of his adoptive father.

For the teams themselves, it was like they been together 18 months, the base was like family now, as Lieutenant Colonel. Dr. Daniel Jackson prepared to head for La Rochelle then, as he packed his work clothes. And the level amount of vitamins necessary that Warner wanted him to take right then as he recovered. "You got everything right now, because the mission starts today Dan." Colonel Andrew 'Andy' Dixon said to him then gently and he nodded smiling then.

"Yeah I'm ready right now, I'll be fine." he said and Dixon smiled and patted his shoulder. "Alright Cam with me, the three of us are doing this together." Daniel said and they nodded, as they, Major Cameron Mitchell and Dr. Jennifer Keller went through the gate, and they arrived on Gaea as they walked to the Nox village and they smiled. "Hello Lya, been a long time." he said and she smiled gently, knowing her student decided to drop in now finally.

"Indeed, what's going on, if you came to visit exactly, and where are Captain Carter and Colonel O'neill?" she asked him then gently then and he sighed and shook his head, as he said it gently as he sat down then. "It's about your technology actually right now, not retrieval, but rather theft now, but you been getting robberies, from any soldiers?" he asked and they nodded. "We spotted several soldiers, a woman and 5 men dressed in grey, they stole several items."

"That we carry." Anteaus said and he nodded sternly then. 'There we go, they were here, alright where you idiots go exactly, were you waiting for me to arrive, so you can arrest me right now.' he thought to that news then. "Neumann and his unit, yeah about that, I quit the SGC and exposed the Military mindset of the program. Neumann's using you for bait, Lya, I don't know who the others are, well Makepeace and O'neill went NID, they, in truth."

"Harbor that belief, that if you're not going to share, they take, regardless of interplanetary diplomacy here, but in exchange for us getting your stuff back. And arresting these guys, we wish for blue prints instead, stuff breaks down. That once we create it to Earthling standards, it's now in the hands of the SGA, I finally cracked it. it's you, the Nox and I just cracked the third, the Ancients." he said and they nodded.

"We can accept that, for getting it back and arresting them, we offer the anti grav servos, and our stealth technology, in blueprints now Dr. Jackson." she said and he nodded smiling. "Make that Commander Jackson actually, my father, if he was alive would be like the General, a two star. But I'm working for the SGA and Teal'C defected departments now with me, these are our new team mates." he said and they nodded.

"Very well, I assume you need the coordinates to Tollana, so you can speak to Omac?" she asked and he nodded. "Indeed I do, I never changed a bit, still me, your favorite student, my Master." he said and she smiled in affection."Indeed my apprentice, you learned much in a short time, I'm very proud of you right now. Alright, with knowing you're searching out our thieves location now, we can insure if O'neill is involved."

"But remember, if the offer is too good to be true, take serious caution, if they want military technology, from you, is your 5 questions. As you never get involved in the affairs of other planetary problems, as you knew better. That if has to do with the elements, then ask questions, if their enemy is like you diversitized. And all you seen so far is your skin color's type's, ask questions, and then immediately abort now."

"You can find a new spot, and get progress done without destroying yourselves spiritually to do so, always remember this now." he said and Daniel nodded smiling "Yes Master, well we're staying for the night, but could you help find the new Tok'ra home base. "That was actually half to heal the damage, the other running testing on the changing elixir." he said and she nodded smiling. "So you're seeing what the technology can and can't do, it's fine, with us being biased about it."

"The maximum safest dosage is 50, passed that it starts turning you from good, to so good, you look evil to everyone else. But as no royal household is left without one, we can give her mother's and they can create the concoctions for your planet." Martouf said and he nodded. My idea was what saved us and the SGC ops are getting too damn arrogant," he said and Jacob nodded to him then.

"As for the poison, best save it for emergencies then here, as you know it now, if Nirrti is back on the loose. I can alert the system lords and they watch their planets, till we get a red flag, on who she killed." he said and they nodded. "If mother was still alive, she would agree with that, save it for reserve, as we come up with a newer, better plan.
