Great Red soared through the dimension gap, executing acrobatic feats akin to a skilled motorbike rider. His majestic flight came to an abrupt pause when a ripple in the cosmic forces caught his attention. Utilizing his immense powers, Great Red delved into the disturbance, eager to unveil its origin.

Upon gaining visual insight, he beheld Issei under siege by a trio of devils wielding dragon-slaying swords. Issei teetered on the precipice of death, enduring both taunts and torment from his assailants.

"In this relentless world, witnessing the demise of a Heavenly Dragon's vessel strikes the heart with sorrow," murmured Great Red, his powerful voice resonating in the solitude of the cosmic expanse. "Rarely do they succumb to the embrace of time or ailment; it is the crucible of combat that claims them. Yet, this occasion bears the stain of an ambush, denying the chance for a defiant stand. Issei Hyoudou, your journey intrigued me; I yearned to witness the extent of your potential. Alas, your fantasies remain unfulfilled, extinguished prematurely. May the forthcoming bearer of Ddraig inherit the essence of your spirit," he intoned with grim acceptance, closing his eyes and severing the ethereal connection to witness Issei's inevitable fate.

As Great Red withdrew from the harrowing spectacle, an unfamiliar sensation coursed through him—a phenomenon not felt since the creation of the world itself.

"The potency of this force! It is his rightful possession! Impossible!" exclaimed Great Red, his eyes piercing through the cosmic veil in search of the formidable source.

To his astonishment, the sinister power emanated from none other than Issei Hyoudou. Engulfed in a violent and oppressing red aura, Issei's eyes glowed with an intensity that seemed to emerge from a bottomless pit surrounded by unimaginable horrors.

"The emanation of this aura transcends the comprehension of mere Devils, Angels, Fallen ones, and the deities across pantheons alike fail to grasp its magnitude," declared Great Red. "Just as a second-dimensional existence falters to engage with a third-dimensional entity unless the latter descends to their plane of understanding, in simpler words, their senses remain unattuned to perceive the sheer might resonating at this level."

Desperation and determination flickered in Issei's eyes as he fervently uttered, "Power, power, power. I need more power. Give me more power!" His words, saturated with a terrifying intensity, sent shivers down the spines of the witnessing devils.

"Issei Hyoudou, your tale remains unfinished, a mere prologue to the epic that awaits," intoned Great Red. "The threads of destiny are yet to weave their intricate pattern, promising an enthralling saga ahead. Brace yourself, for the journey has only just commenced, and the unfolding chapters shall be captivating and steeped in intrigue," he proclaimed with a voice filled with excitement and foreboding anticipation.

Back to the current time

Under the dim light of a foreboding sky of the Dimensional Gap, the much-anticipated moment arrived as Great Red, and the bearer of Ddraig finally crossed paths. A sense of gravity hung in the air as Great Red broke the silence, his voice carrying the weight of authority.

"Ah, at last, we cross paths, bearer of Ddraig. It's about time we talk, hatchling," he declared with commanding assurance.

In the ensuing standoff, Issei and Great Red engaged in a silent exchange, their eyes ablaze with fierce determination. Issei's crimson gaze mirrored the intensity of Great Red's glowing yellow eyes.

Interrupting the silent confrontation, Ophis stepped forward; her eyes narrowed with determination.

"Baka Red!" she exclaimed, positioning herself between Issei and Great Red, ready for a confrontation.

Great Red, however, looked down at Ophis, noting the decline in her once overwhelming power—a consequence of encounters with the Dragon Eater and the wielder of True Longinus.

"Hmph, greetings, Ophis. Your feeble presence betrays the stark decline in your once formidable strength. It's truly lamentable to witness a Dragon God reduced to such a pitiful state," he declared, his tone dripping with condescension.

Anticipating Ophis's readiness to attack, Issei intervened, placing a firm hand on her shoulder. He knew the current Ophis stood no chance against Great Red. The dragon observed in silent interest, intrigued by the mystery of how someone seemingly weaker than Ophis could prevent her from launching an attack. His attention returned to Issei's glowing red eyes, pondering the enigma before him.

He noticed the intensity within Issei's eyes. These eyes are nothing but a deep abyss filled with all kinds of horrors unimaginable to one. But he also knew Issei's eyes were incomplete and had much more potential.

Great Red's proclamation hung in the air, his words echoing solemnly.

"Issei Hyoudou, with eyes brimming with malevolence and an aura much sinister than my own, you are but a reflection of him," he declared, casting a weighty revelation into the atmosphere.

Within the confines of Issei's mind, Ddraig's cautionary words reverberated.

"Partner, tread cautiously with your words; a mere blink from him could erase your very existence," Ddraig cautioned Issei.

Internally grappling with the enigma presented before him, Issei sought answers from his draconic companion.

"I understand, but who exactly is this 'him' he's talking about?" Issei inquired, addressing Ddraig.

Ddraig, though uncertain, responded with a certain conviction.

"I ain't too certain, partner, but what he's spillin' 'bout you is spot-on. Even I can sense the change," he retorted.

Issei, gripped by introspection, remained silent, absorbing the gravity of Great Red's words. The notion of being a mere reflection intrigued him, yet the identity of the elusive 'him' remained a puzzle.

Great Red, undeterred, continued to unravel the mysteries surrounding Issei's existence.

"The darkness festering within you, the void within your gaze; it echoes the one who granted you such strength. The inquiry remains: do you grasp the profound essence of the power you command, or are you but a vessel, oblivious to the genuine scope of your abilities?" he pressed on.

Finally breaking his silence, Issei, still holding Ophis back, sought clarity.

"Who is 'him'?" he questioned, his voice cutting through the charged atmosphere.

Great Red responded with a deep, resonant chuckle, the sound echoing through the space between them.

"Ah, the mysteries that shroud your existence. 'Him' is a being of immense power, the progenitor of the force that courses through your veins. A force that transcends the boundaries of Devils, Angels, Gods, and even Dragons. A force that predates the very fabric of this universe," he explained cryptically.

Issei, in the recesses of his thoughts, connected the dots.

"Thus, the system stands as an ancient force predating existence itself, and the entity he speaks of is undoubtedly Dark-sei," he reflected, piecing together the fragments of his mysterious origin.

Issei's curiosity surged, prompting him to question the purpose behind the bestowed power.

"Why bestow upon me this power? What's the underlying purpose?" he inquired, delving deeper into the mysterious matter.

Great Red, the precursor of revelations, responded with a profound admission.

"In truth, I am unaware. Your existence holds a uniqueness, a fact reiterated by entities such as the Fallen, Devils, and even Angels. However, what I discuss transcends the comprehension of those beings," he elucidated.

Issei, undeterred by the cryptic nature of the response, pressed Great Red to reveal more.

"Such as?" he urged, prompting Great Red to continue unravelling the layers of cosmic significance.

"In the face of shifting realities and the ebb of time, I remain untouched by their whims, retaining a profound recollection of every preceding timeline. Issei Hyoudou, it is you who stands as the nexus, the prime catalyst orchestrating the alterations in both time and reality. Three distinct timelines unfold, each bearing witness to your influence," Great Red explained.

As Issei's mind grappled with the weight of this revelation, he sought clarification on the specifics.

"In what manner did my birth alter the original timeline?" he inquired, his demeanour reflecting both intrigue and bewilderment.

Great Red, with the patience of an ancient observer, began to unveil the intricacies of cosmic change.

"In the original timeline, the fabric of our reality bore a stark divergence. No devils roamed with their formidable prowess – the Bael Power of Destruction, the Phenex's Regeneration, and the Hell Fire were but mere whispers. Yet, at the juncture of your birth, the very threads of existence unravelled, birthing forth the entity we now deem 'Devils.' Alas, this cosmic metamorphosis exacted a toll, claiming the life of the Biblical God, once flourishing in the original epoch. The Great War unfolded, entangling angels, fallen angels, and devils in a cataclysmic clash, sealing the fate of our history. It is undeniable – your inception stands as the progenitor, the genesis, weaving the intricate tapestry of the World as we perceive it," Great Red expounded.

Issei absorbed the profound implications of Great Red's words. His birth had unleashed a cosmic ripple effect, giving rise to the emergence of Devils and triggering the cataclysmic Great War. The revelation left Issei grappling with the staggering magnitude of his existence and the far-reaching consequences of his very being.

Issei's mind buzzed with questions as he grappled with the profound implications of his role in shaping the course of history.

"So, the emergence of Devils, the onset of the Great War, and the death of the Biblical God—all consequential to my existence in this timeline?" he inquired, seeking further clarity from the enigmatic Great Red.

"Indeed, Issei Hyoudou. The cosmic balance, delicate and intricate, shifted with your arrival. The emergence of Devils, endowed with unique and formidable abilities, set the stage for the unfolding drama of the supernatural World. The scales tipped, and the ripples of change reverberated across the realms of angels, fallen angels, and devils," Great Red explained, shedding light on the monumental consequences of Issei's mere presence.

As Issei absorbed this revelation, he pressed on, seeking to understand the intricacies of the timelines.

"What about that third timeline you brought up? The one reshaped by the emergence of that ominous power within me?" he questioned, a sense of forewarning seeping into his tone.

"Ah, the third timeline, a reality marred by the awakening of a power that transcends the very essence of this universe. Your encounter with that ominous force, the one that granted you your current abilities, forged a new path, one diverging from the predestined course," Great Red continued, his gaze unwavering.

Issei's thoughts turned to Dark-sei, the mysterious entity intertwined with the ominous force mentioned by Great Red. The realization that his journey was intricately tied to forces beyond his understanding left him both fascinated and uneasy.

"In the grand scheme, it's evident that without my influence, people like Rias and the others wouldn't have come into existence. The repercussions of my birth have directly impacted individuals such as Asia, Koneko, Kiba, and Akeno, each bearing the weight of their struggles," he contemplated inwardly, momentarily grappling with the profound realization unfolding during this conversation.

Undeterred, Issei delved further into the complexities of the timelines.

"You say the third timeline changed due to me awakening that ominous power; what happened in the second timeline?" he asked, prompting Great Red to reveal the intricacies of this altered reality.

"Well, for one, that devilish assault orchestrated by Shalba Beelzebub never transpired. Your essence remained untouched by the physical, mental, and emotional metamorphosis that should have been. And yet, you persisted in your deviant ways. Curiously, the Underworld failed to sever its ties with you. In the recent clash against Shalba, the original script of your death was written, devoid of a counter to Samael's curse. That's the extent of my knowledge. While I possess the acumen to decipher the chronicles of alternate timelines, the future eludes my gaze in all its timelines. Though I've traversed the annals of history in two other timelines, what lies beyond this juncture remains obscured. To unveil the mysteries, I must tread the path of this timeline, for my sight is blind to events post your death to Samael's malevolent curse," he elucidated, sharing his enigmatic wisdom.

Issei's mind worked to comprehend the intricate dance of timelines, realizing that Great Red's memory reset with each alteration. He envisioned it as tracking three different movies simultaneously, understanding the challenge the ancient dragon faced in navigating the ever-shifting realities.

"In the second timeline, my death at the hands of Shalba was inevitable, lacking a proper strategy to counter Samael's curse," Issei declared, his newfound knowledge guiding his actions. With a swift kick to Shalba's side, though, Shalba remained unresponsive.

Great Red's eyes glinted with amusement, appreciating Issei's application of his newfound understanding. Armed with the knowledge of timelines, Issei felt a surge of determination.

"So, Great Red, why lay out all this information for me? What's my role in the bigger picture?" he questioned, his tone edged with determination.

"Your role, Issei Hyoudou, is as enigmatic as the force that flows within you. You are the anomaly, the wildcard in the cosmic deck. Destiny, as they say, is a fickle mistress. Your choices, actions, and the power you wield have the potential to shape the very fabric of existence. Whether you become a force for creation or destruction lies within the realm of your decisions," Great Red explained, emphasizing the weight of Issei's role in the grand tapestry of the cosmos.

Reflecting on his encounter with the Norns and the revelation of being the "second coming" during his time in Asgard, Issei nodded, absorbing the gravity of Great Red's words. The responsibility of his existence weighed heavily on him.

"Ddraig, your hues have shifted, a change I acknowledge," Great Red uttered, addressing the altered shades upon Issei's left appendage.

Ddraig materialized on Issei's left arm in his gauntlet form, showcasing the transformation with black scales and red gems.

"Great Red, your perception remains as sharp as ever. It appears that my partner's quest has awakened the very core within me, reshaping my existence. The energy flowing through him is unlike any force I've encountered before," Ddraig explained.

"Truly, the metamorphosis of the Red Dragon Emperor is a sight that surpasses the ordinary. The melding of the primordial force predating the universe and the very essence of the Heavenly Dragons has birthed a creature of unparalleled prowess," Great Red acknowledged, recognizing the extraordinary fusion of forces within Issei.

Still restraining Ophis, Issei felt a surge of gratitude towards Ddraig. Their partnership had evolved in ways beyond anyone's anticipation.

"But I reckon you're also fancying my hue shift for another cause?" Ddraig inquired, his curiosity piqued.

"Indeed, I am The Red Dragon. Your former title as the Red Dragon irked me, but with your transformation, my irritation dissipated. Now, I find it amplifies your contradiction to Albion, adding a deeper layer of significance," Great Red declared, acknowledging the profound change in Ddraig's hues.

Ddraig mentally nodded, and the air crackled with tension, a profound understanding of the shifts within Issei and Ddraig's partnership.

Great Red's attention was drawn elsewhere as he peered into the distance.

"The realm of the Underworld quivers under the assault of monstrous forces. A colossal entity, dwarfing even my draconic manifestation, emerges to wreak havoc," he intoned, utilizing his formidable prowess to peer into the veiled realms beyond.

"Indeed, those anti-monsters forged by Shalba using Annihilation Maker. It's imperative that I intervene and put an end to their rampage," Issei declared, releasing his grip on Ophis.

"Set aside your differences for the moment while I handle saving the underworld," Issei directed both Great Red and Ophis, placing a particular emphasis on the latter.

Great Red and Ophis exchanged a glance, a silent communication passing between them. Ophis, despite her reluctance, nodded, acknowledging Issei's request.

"Fine, Baka-Red. But don't think this changes anything between us," she stated with a huff.

"Very well, Issei Hyoudou. I shall observe the unfolding events with keen interest," Great Red declared, his glowing yellow eyes reflecting curiosity and anticipation. The stage was set for Issei to step into the fray, his actions now holding the fate of the Underworld in the balance.

Issei seized the whimpering Shalba, his broken form unable to grasp the gravity of Great Red's words. As Issei prepared to warp back to his Dimension to reunite with the others, Great Red felt compelled to share a final message.

"Issei Hyoudou, there's one last thing I must say to you before you leave," he declared, prompting Issei to turn around and face the ancient dragon again.

"It's about your friend, the Albino version of yourself," Great Red continued, causing Issei's eyes to widen with surprise. Dark-sei's existence, though known to Issei, remained a mystery in many aspects. He was perplexed about how Great Red was aware of Dark-sei, considering only Issei could perceive him.

"If you're wondering how I know, it's because I felt his aura when he enhanced that Katana when I tried to destroy it. He can hide his appearance, but he can't hide his sinister and overwhelming presence," Great Red explained, shedding light on his awareness of Dark-sei's malevolent force.

Issei nodded in understanding, his curiosity piqued.

"Can you tell me anything about him?" he inquired, his tone carrying a blend of curiosity and concern.

"His origins and motives elude even me. He is a force intertwined with the very fabric of the cosmos, and his existence predates the birth of our reality. His connection to you is both a boon and a mystery. Tread carefully, Issei Hyoudou, for the shadows that cloak him may harbour truths that could reshape the destiny you so fervently seek," Great Red warned, imparting a sense of caution.

Issei's thoughts raced as he contemplated the enigmatic nature of Dark-sei. The connection between them seemed to transcend the conventional boundaries of existence, and he couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to uncover.

"I see; I'll keep that in mind," Issei affirmed, holding out his palm and opening a rift. As he prepared to depart, the mysteries surrounding Dark-sei lingered, leaving Issei with a sense of both anticipation and trepidation for the challenges that lay ahead.

[Ability Used: Rift]

Issei seamlessly traversed the Rift, disappearing into his pocket dimension, leaving Great Red and Ophis behind in the vast expanse of the Dimensional Gap.

From their distant vantage point, Great Red and Ophis observed with unwavering focus, their eyes keenly tracking every movement made by the bearer of Ddraig.

"The unfolding events continue to astound. The bearer of Ddraig wields a power that defies the boundaries of the ordinary. The convergence of the Red Dragon's essence and the primordial force within him manifests a spectacle rarely witnessed in the annals of history," Great Red remarked, his voice resonating with both awe and contemplation.

Ophis, though maintaining her stoic demeanour, couldn't help but feel a twinge of curiosity and concern. The power Issei displayed was unlike anything she had encountered before.

"What is he becoming, Baka-Red?" she inquired, her eyes narrowing as she sought insight into the mysterious evolution taking place.

"His evolution is beyond my foresight. The convergence of his power with that ominous force yields a result I cannot predict. Issei Hyoudou walks a path untrodden, and the destiny that awaits him remains obscured even to my keen perception," Great Red explained, acknowledging the uncertainty surrounding Issei's transformation.

As Issei ventured into the depths of his pocket dimension, the Dimensional Gap echoed with the weight of potential and the enigma of what lay ahead for the bearer of Ddraig. The destinies intertwined in this extraordinary tale continued to unfold, leaving both Great Red and Ophis on the precipice of anticipation and uncertainty.

X

Within Issei's Dimension, the living room of his castle served as a gathering place for the occupants. The members of the ORC occupied one side, either seated on the couch or standing, while the Vali Team, along with Azazel, settled on the other. As they eagerly awaited Issei's return, Azazel seized the opportunity to engage in some entertainment, wielding a console controller to play games on Issei's T-V while the others observed.

"Of course, he would only unlock the superior spider suit and use it for the entire game," Azazel chuckled to himself, amused by the choices Issei made in the virtual realm.

Amidst the casual atmosphere, Vali couldn't help but bring up a matter that intrigued him.

"Azazel, during the fight with Cao Cao, I know Issei held back; why?" Vali inquired, seeking clarity on Issei's strategic decisions.

"You see, Issei has become so powerful that he can't have comrades when he fights," Azazel explained, his tone carrying a hint of resignation.

Vali pressed for further explanation, seeking to understand the reasoning behind Issei's solitary approach.

"What do you mean?" Vali asked, prompting Azazel to elaborate.

"When Issei takes to the battlefield, an ominous and stifling aura envelops the entire battleground. His destructive prowess is so overwhelming that anyone nearby becomes trapped in the vortex of his attacks. Even comrades unwittingly share the weight of his power. To him, comrades are nothing but a burden; I assure you, had we not been present, he would have dealt Cao Cao, Georg, and Samael with swift precision, obliterating the very fabric of Dimension Lost in the process," Azazel elucidated, shedding light on the challenges posed by Issei's uncontrollable power.

Kiba, who had been silently listening, recalled a specific instance during the earlier fight. Le Fay had employed her defensive magic to block the residue and aftermath of Issei's energy attack on Cao Cao. While successful in holding back the power, she struggled immensely, serving as a firsthand witness to the overwhelming force Issei unleashed. The implications of his growing strength reverberated through the minds of those gathered in Issei's Dimension, leaving them with a mixture of awe and concern for what the future held.

After a pause, a portal materialized in the middle of the living room, and Issei emerged, with Shalba thrown across the room and into a nearby wall. The sudden appearance of Issei and the seemingly defeated state of Shalba left everyone visibly shocked.

In response to Shalba's unexpected presence, the room's occupants instinctively got on guard, anticipating a battle. However, much to their surprise, Shalba merely curled up into a ball and retreated into a corner, a behaviour that bewildered everyone.

"Issei, you're not typically the type to grant mercy. What reason led you to spare Shalba's life?" Azazel inquired, his curiosity evident in his tone.

"I took more pity on him than malice," Issei answered, seemingly unbothered by the question.

"Why is he behaving so pathetically?" Vali queried, his gaze filled with disdain as he observed Shalba.

"I made it clear that I spared him out of pity, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't take the opportunity to teach him a lesson. He's the one who sent those devils to ambush me, after all," Issei explained nonchalantly, shrugging off the situation.

"Where's Ophis? You said you were going to save her from Shalba," Azazel questioned Issei.

"I left her with Great Red," Issei replied nonchalantly.

The revelation left the entire room gasping in union. Akeno, always quick to react emotionally, couldn't hold back her concern.

"You what?! You left Ophis with Great Red? Do you realize how dangerous that is?" she exclaimed.

Issei, seemingly unfazed, chuckled at their reactions.

"Ease up, Akeno. Red and Ophis are hitting it off perfectly. Plus, I've had a straightforward chat with Great Red, so I'm confident he won't pose any threat to her."

Azazel, though not as expressive, wore a concerned look on his face.

"Issei, your decisions sometimes... Let's hope your trust in Great Red isn't misplaced."

"Trust me, Azazel. Great Red might be chaotic, but he knows how to keep his word," Issei assured, maintaining his confidence.

Vali, still in a guarded stance, shifted the conversation back to Shalba.

"So, what did you and Great Red talk about?" Vali asked Issei.

"This and that, the changes to myself and Ddraig," Issei replied in an uncaring tone, leaving the room filled with tension and intrigue.

Vali contemplated Issei's words about the changes to both the Heavenly Dragon and its host. "Yes, he would be interested in the changes to both Heavenly Dragon and its host," he remarked in a contemplative tone.

Issei then addressed everyone in the room, gauging their readiness for the impending battle. Each participant nodded in agreement.

"Azazel, it's imperative that you reach out to Michael immediately. Inform him that the situation has taken a turn, and the Underworld requires urgent assistance. At the same time, contact Asgard for reinforcements," Issei directed Azazel.

"With an invasion on this scale, I agree," Azazel replied, acknowledging the urgency of the situation.

Rias, ever concerned for Issei's well-being, asked, "What about you, Issei? What will you do?"

Issei took a moment before responding, his thoughts revealing a cunning strategy.

"Why would I bother saving the Underworld? I don't owe it a thing. Maybe I can gain something from it, but a direct ask would likely get shot down. Instead, I'll play the hero card. I'll let them hit rock bottom, let hope fade, and then I'll step in as the saviour. By the time I'm done, they'll owe me big time. I can leverage that gratitude for whatever I desire and maybe fix the mess my old self left behind. Who better to rescue the Underworld than its resident pariah?" he mused, a sly grin forming internally as he plotted his next move.

"I must question my own motives here. What's the purpose of going to such extremes? Frankly, I hold little regard for the Underworld and its residents, save for a chosen few. My pursuit lies in power, influence—those are my aspirations. The origin of this desire eludes me, yet it resonates as the path for me to command with unparalleled tyranny," he reflected, allowing his cunning side to take over.

"I shall assert my dominance, instilling fear in those above me, while the populace reveres me as their saviour. They must recognize that I alone possess the capability to ensure their salvation," he contemplated inwardly, a subtle smirk playing across his face beneath the steadfast exterior he presented to the world.

Having made up his mind, Issei finally spoke. "I don't have anything more pressing at the moment, so I'll pitch in. Nevertheless, I must make some arrangements before venturing into the Underworld. It should take me no more than an hour. In the meantime, I'll dispatch all of you to the Underworld to assist," he responded in his typical manner, concealing his underlying malicious motives.

Rias and the others exchanged glances, sensing that there was more to Issei's decision than he was letting on. However, they trusted him enough to follow his lead, at least for now.

"Alright, we'll head to the Underworld and assist with the defence. But, Issei, don't take too long with your preparations. We'll need your strength," Rias said, her tone a mix of concern and determination.

In the depths of his being, Issei sneered, revealing his darker intentions. "I shall unveil my might to the entire Underworld, the power of the strongest dragon emperor, the power of a true devil. Soon, they'll all be grovelling at my feet, mere morsels in the palm of my hand," he thought, contemplating the manipulative path he was about to tread.

"In this world, the path of power and love may seem linear, yet it diverges into opposing paths. To crave both is a fool's errand, a feeble attempt to stand in the precarious middle. The weak-minded seek a compromise, only to find themselves losing both. Power is everything; power controls everything; without it, one can't protect anything, not even oneself," he mused, embracing the ruthless philosophy that shaped his ambitions.

"I can help you get to the Underworld; come with me," Issei says as he leads the group.

Issei led the group further into his castle, past the armoury and training grounds, to a large underground hall. At the end of the hall stood a large gate.

Azazel inquired about the purpose of the room, prompting Issei to explain, "It's the Warp Gate Hall; it allows me to send a large number of beings to another location. It's based on my rift ability, which I use, but as you know, with my rift ability, I can only go to places I've visited. But I have modified this Warp Gate to take me wherever I need to, even if I haven't been there before."

Vali, Azazel, and the rest of the group exchanged intrigued glances. Issei's abilities never ceased to amaze them, and the prospect of utilizing a modified Warp Gate added a strategic advantage to their upcoming mission.

Issei moved to the right side of the Warp Gate, where a console was placed; he started typing on the keyboard while looking at the screen.

"If I remember correctly, the Anti-monsters created by Shalba were teleported to the capitals," he said as he entered the coordinates for the Underworld's capitals.

Before he could submit the coordinates, Azazel interrupted him, suggesting, "Issei, I think it would be better if you sent us to Ajuka; he would know how to deal with those monsters, and besides, he has a way to contact the other factions."

Issei, a bit annoyed, asked, "I see. Do you know where he would be?"

"If the beast's rampage have been known by now, he would most likely be in his research facility in the Satan's territory," Azazel explains.

"Yeah, that's good and all, but I need actual coordinates," Issei replies in an annoyed tone.

With a nervous chuckle, Azazel admitted, "I don't actually know."

Issei rolled his eyes and sighed in defeat. Ravel then approached him, almost pleading, "Issei, if you don't mind, can you send me to the Phenex Estate? I think my parents would be worried about me right now."

In a charismatic tone not seen by the others before, Issei replied, "Sure, Ravel, I can do it for you."

With his usual smirk, Vali requested, "If you don't mind, Hyoudou, I need you to send Kuroka and me to one of our hideouts so I can meet up with the rest of my comrades."

As Issei turned from Ravel to Vali, his face shifted from charismatic to annoyed.

Issei asked irritably, "Do you know the coordinates?"

Patting Azazel on the shoulder almost teasingly, Vali replied, "Well, unlike Azazel here, I actually know."

Issei sighed as he inputted the coordinates for the Phenex Estate and entered them into the machine. The Warp Gate began to whirl and whiz with otherworldly sounds, and soon enough, the gate frame turned completely black, signifying that the gate was ready to transport.

Issei expressed concern to Ravel, saying, "Ravel, that's you. Be safe."

Ravel nodded appreciatively, giving Issei a small smile before stepping through the blackened gate. The others watched as she disappeared into the unknown, leaving only the sound of the gate closing behind her.

Vali stepped forward, smirking confidently.

"Alright, Hyoudou, impress me with your ability to manipulate these portals," he teased.

Issei shot him a deadpan look but proceeded to input the coordinates for Vali and Kuroka's destination. The Warp Gate came to life again, swirling with dark energy.

"Just make sure not to cause any trouble wherever you end up," Issei warned Vali.

Kuroka added, "Be careful, Shirone nyaa," to Koneko before joining Vali.

Vali chuckled and gave a casual salute before striding through the gate with Kuroka. The portal closed once more, leaving only the lingering echo of its otherworldly energy.

With two members dispatched, Issei turned his attention back to the console. Azazel stepped forward, ready to provide the coordinates for the next destination.

"Issei, there's been a change of plans. Send me to the Grigori headquarters in the Underworld. I need to inform Michael about the situation," Azazel requested.

Issei nodded, typing in the necessary information, and the Warp Gate activated again.

"Don't worry, I'll bring back some reinforcements," Azazel said with a wink before stepping through.

Now, only Issei, Rias, Akeno, Koneko, Kiba, and Asia remained in the room. Issei took a moment to collect his thoughts before addressing the remaining group. He looked over to the table next to him, where Azazel had written down the coordinates to Ajuka's research facility.

"The rest of you, I'll send you directly to the Underworld," Issei said, his tone more serious.

Rias stepped forward, determination in her eyes.

"Issei, be careful. And don't keep us waiting too long," she urged.

Issei proceeded to input the coordinates for the Satan territory for Ajuka's Research Facility into the console, and the Warp Gate hummed to life once more.

"Kiba, wait, I got something for you," Issei called out to Kiba.

Curiously approaching him, Kiba asked, "What is it, Issei?"

Issei held his hand to the side, and the hall's walls opened up. Out of the hole flew a lengthy case that could hold a sword. The case landed in Issei's hands, and he handed it to Kiba.

"Here, keep this," Issei said as he placed the case in Kiba's hands.

Curious about what was in the case, Kiba opened it and saw a sleek sword that gave off a Dragon Slaying Aura, much more potent than the Dragonbane Blade and Ascalon. He could also feel that a piece of Samael was in this sword.

Kiba began, "Issei, is this a?" but Issei cut him off.

"Dragon Slaying Sword," Issei finished off Kiba's sentence.

"I stole it from Loki last week," he added casually.

Kiba, with a hint of concern, asked, "Issei, are you sure you want me to keep this? It seems like you would like to keep it based on that armoury of yours."

Issei's thoughts betrayed his irritation, thinking, "These fuckers were exploring my castle?! What else did they do?!" He pondered with a tick mark on his face.

"It's fine; I got that Odachi, which has Samael sealed in it now. So I don't need this one anymore, and besides, I am unable to wield it, so it'll just collect dust," Issei explained.

Though appreciative of the gesture, Kiba couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy about the mysterious sword. However, he understood the weight of the situation and nodded in gratitude.

"Thank you, Issei. I'll make sure to put it to good use," Kiba said, securing the Dragon Slaying Sword in its case.

As Kiba returned to the group, Issei completed the input for the remaining coordinates. The Warp Gate was ready once more.

"Here we go," Issei muttered to himself as the gate opened fully.

One by one, Rias and the others stepped through the gate, disappearing into the unknown. Issei remained alone in his castle's living room, contemplating the events that had unfolded.

Issei's thoughts revealed a deeper layer, "The Underworld in chaos, the threat of these Anti-monsters, and my own ambitions intertwining with the chaos. This could be an opportunity to reshape the power dynamics of the supernatural world," he reflected, his eyes glinting with a calculating gleam.

After a while,

Ddraig questioned, "How will the preparation take?" as Issei continued overseeing tasks in his castle.

"At most an hour," Issei replied, his attention divided between the conversation and the ongoing preparations by his soul-bound beings.

Ddraig, ever cautious, reminded Issei about Hades, "Partner, I know that Hades has wronged you, but remember he is completely different than Loki; in fact, he is in the Top 10 strongest in the world."

"That gives me even more incentive to kill him. Besides, it gives me the opportunity to use the new Scale Mail," Issei replied, a determined glint in his eyes.

Ddraig probed, "You talking about the one you used against the True Longinus Wielder or the one you've been working on since you returned from Asgard?"

"The latter; as for the former, I think you'll see what I intend to do with that dual-layered Scale Mail," Issei confidently revealed.

"But that form is incomplete," Ddraig pointed out.

"You're right; it isn't because we haven't discovered everything it could do. In fact, we have eight different abilities, five of which are either upgrades of the original or have already existed beforehand. I plan on using that form against Hades and the dual-layer scale mail against Cao Cao after I finish the modifications to the Scale Mail," Issei explained, unveiling his strategic approach to the upcoming battles.

Dark-sei appeared abruptly, injecting his brash presence into the conversation.

"I was gonna pop in sooner, but I figured having your buddies witness you babbling to empty space might amp up the crazy vibe you've got going on already!" he proclaimed in his typical style.

Issei, annoyed, retorted, "What do you want?"

"Hah, ease up! What's with all the defensiveness? Spill it—how's it feel, getting a glimpse into the twisted depths of yours truly?" Dark-sei teased.

Issei, recalling Great Red's insights into Dark-sei's nature, smirked at his darker self, seemingly unimpressed.

"Twisted depths? Please, you're not nearly as mysterious or impressive as you think you are. You're just a manifestation of my darker desires and impulses," Issei asserted.

Dark-sei chuckled, relishing Issei's dismissive attitude.

"Oh, come on, partner! I'm just the embodiment of the side you try to keep hidden from your little harem and the goody-two-shoes friends," Dark-sei jeered.

"I don't need a lecture from my darker self," Issei retorted, maintaining his composure.

"That's what I would've said if I hadn't learned the truth about you," he continued, narrowing his eyes at Dark-sei.

Dark-sei, with a wicked laugh, retorted, "What truth are you talkin' 'bout, partner?"

"You're a being who has existed before the emergence of this current reality, and now you've taken an interest in me and just bothered me whilst giving me more power," Issei declared in a calculated tone, revealing his newfound awareness of Dark-sei's enigmatic nature.

Dark-sei's amused expression turns into a smirk as he tilts his head, acknowledging Issei's understanding.

"Not bad, partner. You catch on quickly. So, what's the plan? Going to unleash some of that newfound power against Hades?" he teases.

"I don't need your input on my plans. But yes, I have some scores to settle, and Hades is at the top of that list," Issei replies coldly.

"Heh, revenge, the sweetest fuel for the soul. If you're gonna dance with the darkness, might as well embrace it wholeheartedly," Dark-sei snarls with a wicked grin.

Getting annoyed by his other self's vagueness, Issei demands, "If you aren't here to give me the information I want, why are you here?" in an annoyed tone.

Dark-sei leans in, a sly grin on his face.

"Hey, just dropping in to poke around, see how you're dealing with all this mess. Gotta admit, you've got a real spectacle happening. Storming the Underworld, gearing up to go head-to-head with Hades and Cao Cao—talk about aiming high, huh?"

"Ambition is what gets things done. Unlike you, I have a purpose beyond chaos and mayhem," Issei retorts.

Dark-sei raises an eyebrow, intrigued.

"Oh, do tell, partner. What's your grand purpose?"

Issei smirks again, his eyes gleaming with determination.

"To reshape this World in my image, to establish dominance and control. Power is the key, and I'll make everyone recognize it."

Dark-sei bursts into laughter, echoing through the chamber.

"Now, that's what I'm talking about! Embrace the chaos, the power, the sheer thrill of it all!" Dark-sei exclaims.

Issei shakes his head, dismissing Dark-sei's enthusiasm.

"I don't need your encouragement. I have my own path to tread, and it doesn't involve pandemonium for its own sake," Issei asserts.

Dark-sei continues to chuckle, seemingly amused by Issei's stoic attitude.

"Alright, alright, suit yourself. But just remember, partner, deep down, you and I are cut from the same cloth. You can't deny the thrill of chaos, the rush of power. It's in your veins, whether you admit it or not," Dark-sei retorts.

Issei remains composed, his gaze unwavering.

"I won't be swayed by your chaotic whispers. I have a purpose, and it doesn't involve succumbing to base desires," Issei declares.

Dark-sei smirks, his tone turning more serious.

"We'll see, partner. When the stakes get higher, when the pressure builds, we'll see if you can resist the call of your darker instincts," Dark-sei challenges.

"I don't have time for your nonsense, Dark-sei. I have a plan to execute," Issei responds.

Dark-sei grins, seemingly unaffected by Issei's dismissive attitude.

"Oh, come on! I'm just here to add a little spice to your grand scheme. Besides, I've got some insider info you might find intriguing," Dark-sei teases.

Issei raises an eyebrow, showing a hint of curiosity.

"Insider info? Don't play games, Dark-sei. Spit it out," Issei demands.

Dark-sei leans in, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Let's just say there's someone in the Underworld who's been keeping tabs on you. Someone with an interest in your unique brand of chaos."

Issei narrows his eyes, processing the information.

"Who?" Issei demands.

Dark-sei chuckles.

"Wouldn't you like to know? But here's a hint: they're not a fan of the current order. Your little stint in the Underworld might just be the chaos they need," Dark-sei hints.

Issei, still sceptical but intrigued, considers Dark-sei's words. Meanwhile, Ddraig senses the tension in the air.

"Partner, be cautious. He is unpredictable, and his motives are unclear," Ddraig warns.

Issei nods, acknowledging Ddraig's concern but keeping his attention on Dark-sei.

"Enough games, Dark-sei. If you're not here to help, then leave," Issei commands.

Dark-sei laughs, disappearing in a swirl of darkness.

"Alright, alright! Keep your scales on, Dragon Boy. I'll be watching from the shadows, as always," Dark-sei taunts.

As Dark-sei vanishes, Issei lets out a sigh, refocusing on his preparations.

"Another player in this twisted game. Well, I'll deal with whatever comes my way. The Underworld is just the beginning." he ponders.

Ddraig, who had been observing the interaction, speaks up.

"He's a troublesome presence, partner. Be cautious not to let him take control," Ddraig advises.

Issei smirks confidently.

"Don't worry, Ddraig. I've got everything under control. Now, let's finish these preparations."

As Issei continues his preparations, modifying his Scale Mail and equipping it with various weapons and artifacts, he can't help but contemplate the duality within himself. Dark-sei may be a manifestation of his darker desires, but Issei is determined to use that darkness to achieve his own goals.

In the heart of the Satan Territory, Ajuka's Research Facility stood as a bastion of knowledge amidst the chaos that plagued the Underworld. As the ORC group, led by Rias Gremory, arrived at the facility, they were greeted by a disarray of people scurrying in every direction. The signs of an ongoing invasion were evident, casting a shadow over the once-serene location.

Ajuka Beelzebub, the reigning Satan, keenly observed the approaching group. His expression shifted to one of seriousness as he swiftly made his way towards Rias and her companions.

"Rias Gremory, it's unexpected to see you here. What brings you to my research facility during this chaos?" Ajuka inquired, his gaze encompassing the members of the ORC.

Rias met his scrutiny with determination. "Ajuka, we're here to offer our assistance. Issei sent us to help with the defence against the Anti-monsters and any other threats to the Underworld," she explained resolutely.

Ajuka's eyes narrowed as he absorbed the gravity of the situation. "Issei sent you? Interesting. Well, any help is appreciated. The situation is dire, and we're facing attacks on multiple fronts. And anti-monsters? Do you know anything about these creatures?" he questioned.

Kiba stepped forward, ready to provide crucial information. "Yes, if Xenovia hasn't informed you yet, our group was ambushed by the Hero Faction and forced into a separate dimension by the Dimension Lost Sacred Gear. After a while, Shalba Beelzebub showed up and forced the wielder of the Annihilation Maker to create these monsters to send to the Underworld to destroy everything!" he explained, detailing the harrowing encounter with the enemy.

Ajuka's countenance grew graver as the true orchestrator behind the chaos was revealed, and he nodded in comprehension.

"So, Shalba is behind this; he was alive all along, using the Annihilation Maker Sacred Gear to create these Anti-monsters. This complicates matters further. We'll need to deal with both the monsters and Shalba himself," Ajuka declared with a sense of urgency, recognizing the gravity of the situation.

Rias interjected with an update, "Issei has already dealt with Shalba; he's currently working on something; he said he'll arrive in an hour's time."

Ajuka absorbed this information, contemplating the potential ramifications. "I see, so he has dealt with Shalba once again, so is Shalba dead?" he inquired.

Rias clarified, "No, but Issei broke him; from what we saw, he is nothing but a shell of what he used to be." Her words hinted at the aftermath of the confrontation, portraying a weakened state for the once formidable adversary.

Ajuka's gaze sharpened as he processed the detailed information about the Anti-monsters.

"Issei broke Shalba? That's an unexpected turn of events. It seems your group is quite resourceful. Regardless, we need to focus on the immediate threat – those Anti-monsters. They pose a significant danger to the Underworld, and we can't afford to underestimate them," Ajuka remarked with a sense of urgency, acknowledging the urgency of the situation.

Koneko, who had been silently observing the conversation, posed a crucial question.

"Is there any specific information on the capabilities or weaknesses of these Anti-monsters?"

Ajuka responded, "Many peerages have tried to attack the monsters who are rampaging all the Underworld's capitals," as he reached for a remote. With a press of a button, monitors flickered to life, revealing footage of the encounters with the formidable creatures.

As everyone watched in shock, the monitors displayed the enormity of the threat. Twelve monstrous Anti-monsters, each exceeding 100 meters and reaching a staggering height of 150 meters, wreaked havoc. The broadcast showcased their diverse appearances, ranging from humanoid shapes with aquatic creature heads to four-legged beasts.

The monitors depicted the relentless progression of these creatures, their destructive power evident as they created smaller monsters during their advance. The landscape suffered, with forests, mountains, and landscapes being obliterated and smaller monsters multiplying rapidly.

Ajuka continued his explanation as the footage unfolded, shedding light on the horrifying capabilities of the Anti-monsters.

"These creatures are not only formidable in size but possess a range of abilities that make them incredibly dangerous. They have immense strength, durability, and the ability to generate smaller monsters at an alarming rate. The smaller monsters they create are agile and numerous, making them a constant threat to both the landscape and any living beings in their path."

The monitors displayed the chaos left in the wake of the Anti-monsters, resembling grotesque chimeras.

"Each of these creatures seems to have unique characteristics. We've observed elemental affinities, abnormal regenerative abilities, and even some form of psychic influence. It's a chaotic mix of powers, making them unpredictable. I've decided to name these Bandersnatch."

The gravity of the situation sank in as Rias, Akeno, Kiba, Koneko, and the others absorbed the dire reality presented on the monitors.

"The larger humanoid-type monster heading towards Lilith is particularly concerning. Its size alone poses a significant threat, and we're uncertain about the full extent of its capabilities. And I've decided to name this one Jabberwocky," Ajuka concluded, emphasizing the heightened danger posed by the colossal Jabberwocky.

Having absorbed the critical information, Rias voiced her concerns with a sense of urgency.

"We need a plan to counter these creatures. Is there anything we can exploit, any weaknesses they have?" she inquired, seeking a strategy to confront the formidable threat.

Ajuka, contemplating the available data, responded, "We're still gathering data, but it seems that their regeneration ability is tied to the main body. If we can target and neutralize that, it might slow down their continuous production of smaller monsters. However, approaching them is no easy task, considering their size and offensive capabilities."

The conversation pivoted to Issei's involvement, and Ajuka sought insight.

"You mentioned that Issei has something in the works. Do we have any idea what he's planning?" Ajuka questioned, recognizing the potential impact of Issei's undisclosed strategy.

Rias, with a nod to Issei's strategic discretion, replied, "Issei tends to keep his strategies close to the chest. Whatever he's doing, it's likely to make a significant impact. We'll have to trust in his abilities for now."

As the group continued their discussions on potential strategies and analyzed the unfolding chaos, the monitors persistently displayed footage of devil teams grappling with the formidable Bandersnatch. Despite the valorous efforts of dispatched attack teams, all of whom were Ultimate-class Devils and held top rankings in the Rating Game, they found themselves struggling against the overwhelming power of the monstrous entities.

These elite devil squads faced the relentless onslaught not only of the massive Bandersnatch but also the ceaseless horde of smaller monsters they generated. The factions allied with the Devils, including Fallen Angels, Brave Saints from Heaven, and Valkyrie squads from Valhalla, had dispatched their forces to combat the threat. However, the tough bodies of the gigantic monsters posed a significant challenge, preventing any substantial impact despite the combined efforts of these formidable teams.

Adding to the chaos was the Old Satan faction, seizing the opportunity presented by the crisis to launch a coup d'état. The invasion of monsters appeared to be a calculated move in their larger plan, and chaos unfolded in the cities, aligning with the monster onslaught. Warriors from the Underworld were mobilized to counter this internal threat, compounding the already dire situation. Reports indicated that, due to the ongoing chaos, servants of High-class Devils were rebelling against their masters in various locations.

The realm of the Devils teetered on the brink of serious chaos, with the Old Satan faction orchestrating a coup through the use of gigantic monsters. Hades, the God of the realm of the dead, was identified as the mastermind behind the scenes. Meanwhile, the whereabouts and plans of the Hero faction of the Khaos Brigade remained unknown. The uncertainty surrounding the descendants of the Heroes, who had been deceived in the artificial Dimension, added another layer of complexity to the unfolding crisis.

Given the unpredictable nature of the Hero Faction, both Gods and Satans hesitated to confront the monsters directly. Cao Cao's spear, capable of easily eradicating Devils and Gods, left the balance of power among the factions in a precarious state. The timing of Hades sending his Grim Reapers remained uncertain, casting a shadow of impending doom.

Despite the dire circumstances, there was a silver lining – the prioritized evacuation of civilians helped minimize major casualties. The future of Devils hung in the balance, with the hope that further losses could be averted to preserve the fragile equilibrium among the factions.

Ajuka, having analyzed Issei's former pawn pieces, addressed the group with a sense of urgency.

"Rias, you came to me last week to examine Issei's former pawn pieces? I finally analyzed it," he informed the group.

Rias, intrigued by the potential revelations, asked, "What did you find?"

Ajuka nodded with a serious expression, signalling the gravity of his findings.

"Issei's former pawn pieces are indeed unique. They carry a residual energy signature that indicates a connection to a special kind of presence. It's not standard demonic magic or sacred gear-related. Instead, it seems to be a fusion of both, along with some other unknown elements," Ajuka explained.

Rias furrowed her brows, seeking more details. "Unknown elements? What exactly does that entail?"

"It's a term we've been using to describe a blend of advanced magical principles. Issei's former pawns exhibit signs of being infused with these mysterious energies. I've never seen anything quite like it. It's beyond ordinary demonic science," Ajuka clarified.

Concerned about the fate of her pawn pieces, Rias inquired, "What does that mean for my pawn pieces?"

"It means that Issei's essence has corrupted these pieces, and they are no longer usable, well, not in a traditional sense. It's possible if someone were to absorb these pieces into their being, they'd be able to gain a piece of Issei's power," Ajuka explained, revealing a potential avenue to harness Issei's unique energy.

Rias pondered the implications. "Absorb Issei's power? But how? And who would be capable of such a feat?"

"The absorption process is tricky, and it requires someone with a high level of control over their demonic powers. As for who could manage this, I believe someone with considerable experience and mastery over demonic energy would be necessary. Someone like you, Rias, or maybe Akeno, given her prowess in manipulating demonic lightning," Ajuka suggested.

Akeno, who had been quietly listening, raised an eyebrow and questioned, "Absorbing Issei's power? That's an interesting proposition. But is it safe? What are the potential risks involved?"

"Safety is relative in matters like these. The process itself is risky, and the energies involved are potent and volatile. However, considering the current crisis and the potential benefits, it might be a risk worth taking. The one who absorbs Issei's power could gain a significant advantage against the Bandersnatch and the other threats we face," Ajuka explained, acknowledging the risks but emphasizing the potential benefits.

Rias took a moment to weigh the options, considering the dire situation in the Underworld. As the group absorbed the gravity of the situation, Ajuka spoke with urgency.

"The situation is more dire than we initially thought. We need to act swiftly to contain the chaos and prevent further damage. Rias, I suggest you take your peerage and join the front lines. Provide support where needed and coordinate with the other factions to repel the monsters and quell the coup d'état. We'll continue gathering information here and provide strategic support," he advised.

Rias nodded, her determination unwavering.

"Understood. We'll do our part to stabilize the situation. Kiba, Koneko, Akeno, Asia, prepare for battle," she commanded, readying her peerage for the impending confrontation against the overwhelming threats in the Underworld.

They nodded in acknowledgment, readying themselves for the imminent conflict. They are getting ready to leave the Research Facility and join the battle, although it was mainly to save civilians from the Anti-monsters; however, before they can go, more people arrive.

A voice echoed from the darkness, addressing Ajuka as the impostor of Satan.

"Never thought you would be in a place like this, the impostor Satan, Ajuka," the voice declared, accompanied by the imposing presence of several men emitting an aura that denoted High-class Devils or higher. Their formidable skills were apparent, and the disdainful term "imposter Satan" revealed their allegiance to the old Satan faction.

Ajuka responded with a bitter smile, acknowledging their familiarity with his identity.

"I think it's the charm of the old Satan faction that it is easy to tell who you are just by hearing you speak once," he remarked a hint of irony in his tone.

Another voice, belonging to the white-haired youth Siegfried of the Khaos Brigade, emerged from the darkness.

"I'm also here," Siegfried announced, glancing at the ORC before fixing his gaze on Ajuka.

Ajuka, recognizing Siegfried from his past as a formidable warrior from the Church, engaged in a conversation.

"I know you. You are a former warrior from the Church, correct Siegfried? You had your name at the top ranking. You were a threat to us before the alliance of the three big powers. If I remember correctly, your nickname is Chaos-edge Sieg. So what business do you have with me? I already have guests, as you can see. I will hear your business then," Ajuka inquired, maintaining a composed demeanour.

"It's about the thing we asked you about before. How about we make an alliance, Ajuka Beelzebub," Siegfried suggested, introducing an unexpected twist to the unfolding situation. The atmosphere in the room grew tense as the prospect of an alliance between Ajuka and the Khaos Brigade was presented.

Except for the other Devils and Ajuka, everyone in the room was shocked beyond belief.

Siegfried continued, presenting his case for an alliance with Ajuka.

"Even though you are part of the 4 Satans, you have a different ideology compared to Sirzechs Lucifer and also have your own authority. And your research relating to abnormal things surpasses others. I hear that you can gather the same number of people as the ones that cooperate with Sirzechs," he explained, highlighting Ajuka's unique position and capabilities.

Ajuka, acknowledging his distinctive stance, responded, "I'm certainly a Satan, and I move with my personal thoughts. I have thrown away Sirzechs' requests numerous times. From the sides, it might look like I'm against Sirzechs' ideals. The 'Game' I'm currently working on is also part of my hobby."

Siegfried, with a bitter smile, remarked, "We got in serious trouble because of those hobbies."

"I can say the same to you," Ajuka replied, recognizing the consequences of his unconventional pursuits.

Siegfried then revealed the allure of Ajuka to the Khaos Brigade.

"What attracts us the most about you is that you are the only Devil who could compete against 'that' Sirzechs Lucifer. I hear that you and Sirzechs Lucifer are irregular Devils who are envied greatly and feared by the descendants of the previous Maou. If one of you joins us, then we can't ask for any more manpower than that," Siegfried explained, underscoring the potential benefits of an alliance.

Ajuka, considering the proposal, expressed his intrigue with a hint of mischief.

"I see. It might be interesting if I become a terrorist and oppose Sirzechs. Seeing his shocked face might be worth it," Ajuka said, contemplating the potential reactions to such a surprising move.

Siegfried sweetened the deal, offering information and research reports.

"We will also give you the information and research reports as well. For someone like yourself who only makes new things, I can guarantee that this report will be something very worthwhile," Siegfried proposed.

Ajuka, despite the tempting offer, maintained his position.

"I see. The information and research reports 'Khaos Brigade' has. Yes, it certainly does seem charming," Ajuka acknowledged. "But I don't need it. To me, the alliance with you does seem appealing, but it's something I have to decline," he concluded, revealing his decision to stay true to his own path rather than align with the Khaos Brigade.

Hearing Ajuka's firm refusal, Siegfried's expression remained unchanged. However, the Devils of the Old Satan Faction began to emanate their killing intent.

"I want to ask you the reason in detail, but I will make it simple. Why not?" Siegfried inquired, seeking a concise explanation for Ajuka's rejection.

Ajuka, maintaining his calm demeanour, elucidated his stance.

"The reason why I can concentrate on my hobbies is because Sirzechs considers all of my will as well. He, no. I have had a long relationship with him. He's the only one who I can call my friend. That's why I know him better than anyone, and he knows me better than anyone. I only became a Satan because he became a Satan. That's how Sirzechs's and my relationship goes," Ajuka explained, emphasizing the depth of his connection with Sirzechs Lucifer.

"I see. A 'friend' is the reason you decline us, and I can't understand that reason, but I do understand that there are ways to decline like that," Siegfried acknowledged, acknowledging Ajuka's commitment to his friendship with Sirzechs.

Devils from the Old Satan Faction, angered by Ajuka's refusal, voiced their dissent.

"That's why I told you! This man! This man and Sirzechs control the Underworld for their own purpose! No matter how much technology he has brought to the Underworld, we cannot let a Satan who is addicted to playing around rule any longer!" one Devil declared to Siegfried.

"Now is the time to be eliminated! Annoying fraudulent existence! We, who have inherited the will of the true Satan, will eliminate you!" another Devil proclaimed.

Ajuka, unfazed by their accusations, responded with a smile.

"Phrases that I hear often. Are you people perhaps saying this to all the people related to the current government of the Underworld? Words that are filled with anger. There isn't any elegance, nor am I interested in them. –In other words, I find you boring," Ajuka remarked, dismissing their threats with a nonchalant attitude.

The angered Devil confronted Ajuka, exclaiming, "Are you making a fool of us, Ajuka?!"

"I know that it is pointless to talk to you. It can't be helped. I will do my job as a Maou, which I haven't been doing for a while. –I will eliminate you all," Ajuka declared as he put his hands forward, creating a few magic circles, signalling his readiness to engage in combat.

The enraged Devils from the Old Satan faction unleashed massive amounts of demonic power simultaneously, a force capable of inflicting fatal wounds. Ajuka, however, remained composed, effortlessly controlling the small magic circle within his hand. The Devil words and formulas moved at incredible speed.

As their attacks were about to hit, they were redirected in different directions, shocking the Devils from the Old Satan faction. Ajuka, still seated calmly, addressed them.

"You came here knowing about my ability, right? Did you actually think that if it was your demonic powers, then it would work against me? Or are you shocked because it ended like this even though you powered up yourself? Either way, it's impossible for you guys," Ajuka stated, leaving the Old Satan faction bewildered.

Ajuka continued to explain his unique ability, emphasizing his proficiency in controlling phenomena with equations and formulas.

"From my point of view, all the phenomena and abilities that occur in this World have rules and laws in them. I am able to get an answer by filling in the equations. I have liked calculations since I was a child. That's why my demonic powers became specialized in those areas. Look. I can do things like this," he explained, pointing towards the sky.

The redirected attacks, falling from the sky, struck down one of the Devils without a sound. The remaining Devils were in fear as Ajuka demonstrated his control over their powers.

"I can also do this," Ajuka said, moving the devil words in the equation even faster.

The magic circle, customized with an equation problem, transformed the demonic powers into bullets, each with increased speed and power. Ajuka showcased his ability to control and enhance the attacks, leaving the Old Satan faction in awe.

Realizing they couldn't escape, the Devils released another offensive aura. However, Ajuka effortlessly broke through their attacks, piercing their bodies with controlled demonic powers that had been split into many bullets.

"So this is the power of this man's Kankara formula," one Devil acknowledged.

"To have this much power with moving only slightly. How much power do you and Sirzechs possess," another Devil lamented before succumbing to dying.

Ajuka then turned his attention to the last remaining member.

"Now, the only one left is Siegfried from the Hero Faction. What will you do?" Ajuka inquired, ready to face the next challenge.

Siegfried, maintaining his nonchalant demeanour, responded to Ajuka's inquiry.

"I still have an ace up my sleeve, so I'm thinking about retreating after using that," he casually shrugged.

However, before Siegfried could elaborate, Kiba swiftly appeared in front of him, drawing his sword.

"How about we finish off what we started in the artificial Dimension? After all, you ran off like a coward like your leader did when he fought Issei," Kiba taunted with a mocking grin.

Though taken aback by Kiba's sudden appearance, Siegfried countered with a smirk.

"Ah, the Holy Demonic Sword wielder. You seem eager for a rematch. Very well, let's see if you've improved since our last encounter," Siegfried accepted the challenge.

Kiba, not one to back down, retorted, "Rematch? You talking like you won? In fact, you ran with your tail between your legs when Shalba showed up," accompanied by a mocking grin.

Siegfried chuckled at Kiba's boldness, refusing to be rattled by the taunts.

"Clever, but circumstances have a way of shifting. Regardless, we're here for different reasons now," Siegfried calmly stated, hinting at a shift in priorities and objectives. The tension between Kiba and Siegfried lingered, setting the stage for a confrontation between the Holy Demonic Sword wielder and the Hero Faction member.

Siegfried activated his Balance Breaker, transforming into Chaos Edge Asura Ravage, gaining four additional arms, and wielding a total of six swords – five demonic and one radiant with light.

Kiba tightened his grip on his sword, determination evident in his narrowed eyes.

"This time, there won't be any interruptions. You'll face the full force of my Holy Demonic Sword," Kiba declared as the clash of demonic and holy energies permeated the air.

Their swords collided, generating sparks that illuminated the tension in the room. The clash between Kiba's Holy Demonic Sword and Siegfried's Chaos Edge Asura Ravage intensified, the determination to settle the score and the readiness for confrontation adding to the battle's intensity.

Siegfried charged towards Kiba, unleashing a flurry of strikes with all six swords. Despite the forceful attack, Kiba managed to block, but the impact sent him flying through a wall and into a garden area.

As Kiba regained his footing in the Garden, he felt the resonance of the clash throughout his body. Siegfried, with his chaotic blend of demonic and light swords, confidently approached, sporting a smirk.

Kiba activated his Balance Breaker, summoning multiple swords that materialized around him, spinning defensively in various directions.

Surrounded by the spinning blades of his Balance Breaker, Kiba stood his ground in the Garden. Siegfried emerged from the hole in the wall, his chaotic energy swirling as he readied himself for the next round.

"Impressive. It seems you've grown stronger since our last encounter. But can you handle this?" Siegfried posed the question, swinging his six swords in a coordinated assault, creating a barrage of slashes aimed at Kiba. The clash of demonic and light energies filled the air, showcasing an intense display of swordplay.

Kiba skillfully parried and dodged the onslaught, his spinning blades serving both as offence and defence. As the battle reached its peak, Kiba drew the sword Issei had given him – the Samael poison-imbued sword designed to counter Siegfried's multiple arms. The stage was set for a decisive moment in their ongoing confrontation.

The clash between Kiba and Siegfried reached its peak as their swords locked in a fierce struggle. The Garden echoed with the sound of their clashing blades, and the intensity of their confrontation escalated.

Maintaining his composure, Siegfried responded to Kiba's taunt with a confident grin.

"Another Dragon Slaying Weapon? It looks different from the one you used in the artificial Dimension. You must've got it from the Black Dragon Emperor; I recognize Hades's work when I see one," he remarked, examining the sword Kiba now wielded.

Kiba shouted in disbelief and anger, "Hades is the one who created these swords?!" remembering Issei's account of Loki using a similar weapon against him.

"Oh yes, I suppose I can tell you since I'll kill you here and now," Siegfried explained, "but Hades has been working on some very Taboo things, most of which he keeps to himself, but from what I know, it goes against the three factions and their other alliances."

A grin appeared on Kiba's face at the revelation.

"Too bad Hades won't live long enough to see those plans; Issei will kill Hades soon enough," Kiba confidently replied.

Siegfried chuckled at Kiba's response, saying, "Bold words, but you'll find that Hades is not as easy to deal with as you might think. The God of the Dead is a formidable adversary."

Undeterred, Kiba lunged forward with his dragon-slaying sword, and the clash of swords resumed, turning the Garden into a battleground for intense confrontation. Each strike and parry sent shockwaves through the surroundings.

As they fought, Siegfried continued to speak, revealing more about the chaotic developments in the Underworld.

"You're not the only one with a crisis on your hands. The Old Satan Faction has initiated a coup, and the Anti-Monsters are wreaking havoc across the Underworld. Hades is manipulating the chaos to further his agenda. The World you seek to protect is on the brink of collapse," Siegfried disclosed.

Kiba, while focused on the battle, absorbed the information. The situation was graver than he had anticipated, adding an extra layer of urgency to their mission.

"The Hero Faction, the Old Satan Faction, and the chaos unleashed by the Anti-Monsters... we'll handle them all. And once we're done here, Issei will deal with Hades. Your plans won't come to fruition," Kiba declared.

"Bold words indeed. Let's see if you can back them up," Siegfried responded.

"And after he is done with Hades, he'll go after that coward of a Leader of yours," Kiba mocked.

"Coward or not, our leader has plans that extend far beyond your understanding. You underestimate the complexities of our situation, Kiba," Siegfried stated.

Kiba gritted his teeth, pouring more strength into the lock, determined to prove his point.

"Plans or not, he won't escape Issei's Justice. We'll put an end to your schemes and bring an era of peace to the Underworld," Kiba asserted.

Siegfried, however, had no intention of revealing more about their plans. He broke the sword lock with a swift and decisive maneuver, creating distance between them.

"You and your faction made a big mistake, pissing off the most dangerous person I know; now he'll have your heads," Kiba warned, thinking of Issei.

Siegfried, undeterred by Kiba's words, maintained a confident demeanour.

"Time will tell whose heads will roll. The game has just begun, and the pieces are still moving," Siegfried replied.

Kiba, undeterred, swiftly closed the distance between them, launching a rapid series of strikes. Siegfried, displaying his exceptional swordsmanship, skillfully parried and dodged Kiba's attacks.

"Issei has faced gods, powerful devils, and even beings from other mythologies. Your little faction won't be the first to underestimate him and certainly won't be the last," Kiba asserted.

Siegfried then starts to take the fight seriously. He speeds towards Kiba at blinding speed and slashes two swords against Kiba. Out of reflex, Kiba brought up both the Dragon Slaying Sword and the Sword of Betrayer. But even with all that defence, Kiba was flung back and crashed through a few trees.

Kiba gets up, coughing out a bit of blood, though the blood didn't phase him, but rather the prowess of his opponents.

"This increase in power, how is it possible? In the other artificial Dimension, I had the upper hand against him, yet now he has the upper hand. It's been just under an hour since we had an encounter; what could've happened in the last hour for him to become this much stronger?" he ponders.

He then remembers Azazel, Issei and Vali's conversation after they attempted to destroy Georg's Dimension.

Flash Back

"Does anyone else notice that Georg appears unusually stronger today, or is it just me?" Issei queried the others.

"What do you mean?" Vali asked.

"Recall, I previously gouged out his eyes with a dagger, but he managed to bounce back with a Phoenix Tear. Normally, I wouldn't bother second-guessing, but Phoenix Tears aren't known for regenerating organs, yet his eyes miraculously came back. Moreover, post those Tear applications, he displayed a noticeable increase in strength, albeit marginally," Issei elaborated.

"Interesting observation. Phoenix Tears are indeed potent, but you're correct; they don't usually regenerate organs. If Georg's eyes returned, and he gained strength from it, it might be a different kind of Tears or a modified version. We should be cautious," Azazel analyzed, his expression thoughtful.

"In essence, it clarifies the reason his Dimension endures, even in the face of high-ranking beings unleashing their powers simultaneously. Yet, his Dimension remains resolute, undeterred by the formidable forces at play," Vali stated with a confident demeanour.

Flash Back End

Amidst the chaotic aftermath of the clash, Kiba found himself grappling with an unsettling realization. The encounter with Siegfried had taken an unexpected turn, leaving Kiba bewildered by the sudden surge in Siegfried's power. As he pondered his next move, the echoes of a recent conversation between Issei, Vali, and Azazel played in his mind.

The memory sparked a question in Kiba's mind, voiced amid the skirmish, "Modified Phoenix Tears...? Is that what Siegfried used to boost his strength?" His momentary distraction didn't go unnoticed by Siegfried, who seized the opportunity and launched another attack. Kiba refocused, defending against the onslaught, but Siegfried's movements were more fluid, his attacks more potent.

"It seems the rules of engagement have changed. But even with a power boost, you won't escape Justice," Kiba declared.

Siegfried grinned, revelling in the newfound strength the modified Phoenix Tears granted. "Justice is a subjective concept, my friend. In the grand scheme of things, our actions align with a greater purpose. You'll soon understand," Siegfried retorted.

The battle intensified, with Kiba struggling to keep up with Siegfried's enhanced abilities. The clash of their swords echoed through the Garden, drawing the attention of onlookers. In a surprising twist, Siegfried pulled out a pistol, pointing it to his neck. However, Kiba soon realized it was a syringe. Siegfried injected a mysterious substance into his body.

"Is that another one of those modified Phoenix Tears?" Kiba questioned, his eyes narrowed. Siegfried corrected him, "No, each member of the Hero Faction was only given one. This is something completed with the help of the old Satan Shalba Beelzebub. In other words, it's a doping drug. Specifically designed for the Sacred Gear."

"So you are going to strengthen your Sacred Gear then?" Kiba inquired. Siegfried nodded in agreement, revealing the true extent of his plan.

Siegfried continued to unravel the dark secrets behind his newfound strength, elaborating, "What will the result be if we were to inject ourselves with the blood of the True Devil, who is the archenemy in the Bible of the God who created the Sacred Gears? That was the theme of the research. With quite a number of sacrifices and lots of data collected, it was able to fuse between the Sacred item and deep devilishness."

Kiba's mind raced with the revelation, "Blood of a Devil! And someone who inherits the blood of the True Devil. They altered it and made an item that enhances the Sacred Gear. Was that their plan?"

Siegfried cast his gaze upon Gram, the Demonic-Emperor-sword he held, and explained, "Naturally, I should be able to defeat you with this Demonic-Emperor-sword, Gram. Unfortunately, I am chosen by this sword, but you can say that I am also cursed by it, Kiba Yuuto. You can understand what I mean, right?"

Kiba nodded, comprehending the intricate connection Siegfried shared with the legendary sword. The Demonic Emperor sword Gram boasted incredible sharpness, enveloping itself in an offensive aura capable of cutting through anything, akin to a demonic-sword version of Durandal. Additionally, it held the title of "Dragon-Slayer," having once felled one of the Five Dragon Kings, Gigantis Dragon Fafnir. However, the Norse Gods later revived Fafnir. In essence, Gram amalgamated the traits of Durandal and Ascalon, an ironic blend considering Siegfried's connection to the sword.

As Siegfried's explanation delved deeper into the complexities, Kiba learned about the peculiar nature of Siegfried's Sacred Gear, a sub-species of Twice Critical. Its Balance-Breaker, another sub-species, transformed it into a dragon-type Sacred Gear with dragon-like traits. However, the delicate balance between Siegfried and Gram became apparent—the more Siegfried increased his abilities, the more strained his relationship with Gram became. The actual ability of the Balance-Breaker posed a risk, as Gram's Dragon-slayer attribute threatened fatal consequences for Siegfried himself.

"In a Balance-Breaker state like this," Siegfried confessed, "it is a good demonic sword with good balance if I completely shut down its offensive aura. However, if I do that, I won't be able to release its full potential. But if I release its powers, I will receive fatal wounds by my own sword if I am in a Balance-Breaker state. This sword here isn't concerned about its master's body," he added, spinning Gram with an air of resignation.

Suddenly, Siegfried's body underwent a grotesque transformation, accompanied by strange and dull sounds. The four arms sprouting from his back thickened, each finger crumbling and merging with the swords they held. Siegfried's expression hardened, veins protruded on his face, and his muscles contorted as if he were transforming into an entirely different creature. His hero-faction uniform tore apart as the four arms elongated to the point of almost touching the ground. The once-Asura-like appearance now resembled a monstrous spider, exuding an abnormal pressure and a chilling aura. Despite the apparent discomfort, a sinister smirk crossed Siegfried's face.

"Chaos Drive. That's what we call it. We call this doping injection a Chaos Break. We took the part of the name from 'Balance-Breaker' and 'Juggernaut-Drive,'" Siegfried explained in a lower, more resonant voice, a clear manifestation of the mutations he had undergone.

Taking a step towards Kiba, Siegfried altered the atmosphere of the rooftop garden, forming a vapour. The Twice Critical's four thick arms merged with demonic swords, creating an imposing sight.

Without pausing to observe the effects of his transformation, Siegfried moved forward. Whirlwinds, ice pillars, and cracks in the ground marked the place Kiba had stood moments ago, a result of Siegfried's rapid combo attacks with each of his demonic swords. If Siegfried's judgment had been even slightly slower, Kiba's body would have been sliced into pieces.

Sensing the imminent danger, Kiba changed his Holy-demonic sword into a holy sword and materialized his knight troops. Using them as a stepping stone, he leapt into the air just as a tremendous aura surged past his previous location. The knight troops perished without a trace, but Kiba, now in the sky, confronted Siegfried, wielding Gram to counter the threat posed by the dragon knights.

Even though Kiba managed to dodge the attack, the offensive aura pierced him, causing pain to surge throughout his body. A direct hit from that aura would be fatal, possessing the same destructive power as Durandal, if not more dangerous due to its lack of charging time. Acknowledging the situation's dangerous nature, Kiba dropped down on the rooftop, transformed his holy sword back into a holy demonic sword, and closed the distance between him and Siegfried.

As Kiba unleashed slashes from various angles, Siegfried effortlessly blocked them with one of his demonic swords. Each of Siegfried's four arms wielded swords with destructive power, capable of swiftly annihilating Kiba if he were to face them head-on. The sword of light in Siegfried's left hand, the only non-demonic sword, could be nullified with a holy demonic sword, but dealing with the other five demonic swords proved to be a formidable challenge.

The sword fight between Kiba and Siegfried persisted, with Kiba employing swift attacks, leaving a mirage in his wake. Despite the enlarged dragon arms, Siegfried skillfully blocked Kiba's advances. Gram, held in Siegfried's right hand, emitted a dangerous aura when slashed toward Kiba, even if it didn't make direct contact, damaging him with its offensive aura.

The waves of Gram, missing Kiba, continued to wreak havoc on the rooftop garden, turning it into dry soil. The building's resilience was attributed to Ajuka's demonic powers, reinforcing it against Siegfried's relentless assaults. Five demonic swords then slashed towards Kiba, prompting him to dodge and counter with a dragon-slayer holy demonic sword created at the tip of his foot. Yet, Siegfried's body proved more robust than Kiba's weapon, causing the holy-demonic sword to crumble upon impact.

"It hit him," Kiba thought, but the triumphant feeling was short-lived. Siegfried's enhanced body surpassed the strength of Kiba's dragon-slayer holy-demonic sword.

"Looks like my strengthened body surpasses that of your dragon-slayer holy-demonic sword," Siegfried declared with a fearless smirk, revelling in the realization that Kiba's attacks couldn't harm him. Seizing the opportunity, Siegfried grabbed Kiba's kicking foot and hurled him into the air.

In a moment of suspended animation, Siegfried anticipated the impending onslaught. The anticipation was abruptly cut short as Kiba was violently slammed to the ground, a single swing of Siegfried's demonic sword following suit. The impact sent shockwaves through Kiba's body, the force akin to his entire being being crushed against the floor, leaving a deep crater in its wake.

Noises of cuts resonated throughout Kiba's body, his senses overwhelmed by intense pain defying verbal description. The severity of the ordeal almost plunged him into unconsciousness. Violently vomiting blood, Kiba watched as the once-green Garden transformed into a vivid red.

Despite the excruciating pain, Kiba refused to succumb. Summoning all his strength, he fought against the encroaching darkness, struggling to stand on shaky legs. With numerous bones broken and shivers wracking his body, Kiba could not relent. He retreated, fixed his stance, and launched another desperate slash at Siegfried. The latter swiftly crossed his two demonic swords to parry Kiba's attack.

"For someone like you who has weak defence, didn't the attack just now injure you quite a lot?" Siegfried laughed with a deep voice, revelling in the visible toll on Kiba.

Kiba's grip on his sword weakened, his hand devoid of strength. As Siegfried pushed against Kiba's crossed sword, Kiba's body was flung backward, his legs betraying him with a noticeable wobble.

Devoid of strength in his legs, Kiba faced the imminent prospect of collapse. Summoning every ounce of power left in his battered body, he focused it on his legs. Miraculously, the trembling ceased, and Kiba found a resurgence of strength in that fleeting moment.

His legs encased in ice, Kiba cursed through gritted teeth. Siegfried, utilizing his ice demonic sword, had frozen Kiba in place. Desperate to break free, Kiba transformed his sword into a fire holy-demonic blade to melt the ice imprisoning his legs.

Two ice pillars emerged from the ground, piercing through both of Kiba's thighs. Seizing the opportunity, Siegfried swung down another demonic sword, prompting Kiba to twitch and attempt to shield himself with numerous holy demonic swords. Unfortunately, the shield proved futile as it shattered, and Siegfried's attack severed Kiba's left arm from his shoulder.

Despite the loss, Kiba pressed on. Using the fire holy-demonic sword, he melted the ice and jumped backward. Blood flowed profusely from his wounds, prompting Kiba to transform his sword into an ice holy-demonic blade to temporarily treat the injuries.

Intense pain enveloped his entire body as Kiba, now kneeling on the floor, assessed the gravity of his situation. Feeling a surge of helplessness, he pondered Issei's resilient mindset, recalling Issei's ability to bounce back from seemingly insurmountable challenges. Comparing himself to Issei, Kiba began to overthink.

"What would he do? What would Issei do?! He jumped headfirst into fighting a God with all the confidence in the world, and I know for a fact he has the capability to beat Hades. Yet, what would he do if he were in my situation?" Kiba pondered, his thoughts racing.

Glancing to the side, Kiba noticed the dragon-slaying sword Issei had given him. Instinctually discarded in fear during Siegfried's transformation, Kiba realized the practical and pragmatic approach Issei would take.

"That's what he would do; he wouldn't be phased by Siegfried's transformation and keep his eye on the prize; that is the type of person he is, always practical and pragmatic," Kiba realized.

Rias's voice pierced through the chaos as she and the others arrived outside, having sensed Siegfried's aura and power.

"Kiba!" she shouted, tossing Issei's former pawn piece towards him. Dropping his sword, Kiba gripped the piece in his hand, feeling its power, tempting him to absorb it into his body.

"Issei, watch over me as I take in your power," Kiba silently prayed as he inserted the pawn piece into his chest. The piece seamlessly disappeared, and suddenly, a red notification appeared in front of Kiba's face, causing his eyes to widen. A red box with a black border and text appeared, signalling a significant development.
