Predators View, Land of River's Forest and Swampland: Dive into Fate

Flying at an altitude equal to some of the larger trees, I scanned the immediate areas with my activated doujutsu, now able to see from kilometers away down to the smallest detail. It's not as good as the Byakugan in terms of being able to see chakra, however, I can spot movement along with my enhanced senses of smell and hearing, it'll do just fine for me. Of course, like usual, I'm hunting at night, using my night vision to spot some possible prey and to look out for any other, let's just say hazards in the area. I glanced towards my map and saw nothing interesting near me for now, I kept my eyes aware of any potential shinobi from any village. Due to me crossing the borders of the Land of Rivers, Konoha shinobi, along with Sunagakure shinobi are the main people I'm currently looking out for, although it seems that they have not yet set up any shinobi around this area.

I continued on my path westward, making my way toward the Land of Wind, my main targets right now were bandits or even lower-level missing-nin, but, let's see how many missing-nin would be around here, near the borders of two soon-to-be warring countries. After a few moments of stealthily flying and scanning, my eyes landed on something...or more like some people, seemingly resting in the nearby grasslands two kilometers to my northwest. "Bingo," I said softly before taking off towards the group. After a few more moments, I finally land in the top canopy of a tall tree near the group, they cannot see me, but I can easily see them, it's like people don't ever look up. "Hm, three wagons, not very classy, just regular horse-drawn wagons, likely nothing but wanderers." I mentally spoke, analyzing my targets, "Seems all of them are near the campfire, all men, somewhat rough around the edges based on their ragged clothing and...lack of bathing." I shook my head in slight disappointment, seeing that they were nothing but some common traders or bandits.

"They're just some common scoundrels, not worth a real fight, some of them even seem to be slightly drunk. I should at least be able to acquire some scrolls from one of those carts. Let's see...they don't seem like much, if they were bandits, it seems as if they aren't the obvious type. Two are stoking the flames, three talking amongst each other, and two of them seem to be resting their eyes." I finished my analysis, coming to a battle plan, if it can be called that at least. "Let's see if that neck-chopping thing actually works, if not, well, fists will definitely work, now would they?" With my battle plan made up, I silently flapped my wings and jumped back into another tree, before spawning a shadow clone and transforming her into a knock-off Karasu-kun. "Fly down there and cause a distraction, lure them or at least a few of them away from the camp. Once you're far enough, transform back and knock them out." I mentally commanded my clone before she...or...it flew off towards the group of grunts as I waited to strike.

Land of River's Grassland: Worse than a Seagull

"Hoooweeee, this sake hits the spot." One of the men said, leaning back on a log after taking a swig from the sake bottle. "Baka, pass it here, and stop hogging it." Another man said, before snatching the bottle, earning a tick mark on his comrade's forehead as he grumbled to himself. After getting done with stoking the fire, another man turned when he heard the calls of a crow flying in their direction. The man gave the crow a questioning look with a slight tilt of his head, "What?" The man said gruffly. With a speed that none of the men were prepared for, the crow swooped down to the man who was about to take a drink from the bottle of sake, and subsequently stole the bottle, grabbing it right out of the man's hand and flying into the nearby forest. "WHAT!? YA FUCKIN' BIRD, GAVE IT BAcK!" Said the man angrily as he stormed into the forest after the crow along with the man who had drunk from it earlier. "Oi, I didn't even get my turn yet ya prick." Said another man as he followed the other two.

"Good, now, just these four to deal with," I said to myself as I flew down. After gaining some speed, I flew down and quickly kicked one of the men in the side, sending him into a tree and knocking him down immediately before turning to the other three, who were now just getting up for a fight. "Hello, gentlemen, unfortunately, I do not feel like fighting today," I said before quickly moving to the nearest guy. "W-what? What's a ki-" His sentence was cut short as I landed a solid punch to his sternum, as he crumpled downward, I landed another strike to his temple, knocking him out instantly. "Oh shi-" The next guy's sentence was also rudely cut short as I landed a solid kidney strike, before dropping into a sweep kick and knocking him down. I got on top of him as he groaned, and quickly put him out of his misery with a strike to the temple. "H-h--hey! Wait!" The remaining guy shouted before I moved quickly and appeared behind him, chopping him in the neck. He crumpled to the ground with a groan, "W-what was t-that f-for?" "Hm, it seems it doesn't work without killing the target," I said before quickly wrapping my arm around his neck tightly. I held on until he stopped squirming and finally lost consciousness.

With a sigh, I stood up and dusted my black and red kimono off, getting the memories of my clone in the process. "It seems they were easy pickings," I said as I turned to the wagons with one of the horses looking at me. "Forgive me, they were in the way," I apologized uselessly as the horse turned to go back to sleep. With another sigh, I made my way to the first wagon, opening the fabric to see what was inside. "Hm, let's see what's in these crates," I said before pulling myself fully into the wagon and crawling towards the crates. After reaching them, I unsheathed one of my Wakazashi blades and stabbed it into the small slit, before prying it open. A look of slight shock crossed my face, "Flowers?...No...poppy flowers. So, they are a bunch of smugglers huh?" I said seeing the hundreds of poppy plants wrapped in clear plastic. With a sigh I moved on to another crate, repeating the same, only to see more poppy flowers. "Well, let's just see what's in the other wagons, shall we?" I said out loud before jumping out of the wagon.

After a few minutes of scavaging in the other two wagons to the slight annoyance of the horses trying to sleep, I finally found a few scrolls, however only two of them were blank, which was nearly enough for me. After pocketing the blank scrolls, I glanced toward the one that wasn't blank. A blank look crossed my features as I looked at the name at the top of the scroll, it wasn't the name of a person, oh no, it was a familiar name of a certain group of misfits that are now probably six feet underground. "Shit," I said simply, looking at the name of, 'Himawari Co', along with the familiar "company", symbol of a sunflower. "Well shit, I guess this is bigger than I thought," I said as I stood up and exited the wagon, looking around at the still unconscious bodies of the grunts of my enemy. "I could kill these bastards now, but, whether I do that or not, the boss is going to come after me at some point, and these pricks aren't worth dirtying my weapons right now." I internally pondered and then sighed in annoyance at what had to be done. I walked my way to one of the nearest guys, the one that I kicked into a tree earlier. I reached down and pulled his body to where he was lying against the tree before stepping back and taking off in the direction where my clone went, looking for the bottle of sake.

Moments Later

"Wakey wakey!" I said before smacking the poor bastard awake, pouring some of the sake onto his face for good measure. He awoke with a splutter, eyes darting around before landing on my glowing red eyes. "D-d-d-d-d-demon!" He shouted before covering his face with his arms, shaking like a leaf in the wind. I smiled slightly, "Perhaps you're right, now..." I trailed off as I raised my hand and smacked him again, earning an, unmanly, squeak and groan of pain. "If you want to keep the remaining bit of your manhood attached and between your legs and not shoved down your throat, GET TO FUCKING TALKING!" I said forcefully, as the chump started to come to his senses. "T-t-talk about what, I'll tell you everything, just don't kill me!" He responded pitifully. "Tch. I'm not making any promises, now, Himawari Company, who is the boss of this organization and what power does he hold?" I growled back, bidding him to respond. "O-ok, his name is Ryu-sama, he's the boss ok, he's the boss of the underworld ok, I don't know anything else, I swear!" I sat still for a moment with a face set in stone, pondering the revelation, "So, you're just a mule, you don't know much about the upper hierarchy?" I asked.

He shook his head, "Someone killed his son and third in command a couple of years ago, that's all I know!"My eyes narrowed to slits, "His son? Who was his son and where was he?" I asked as he started to calm down, "His son's name was Kiyoshi, h-he was the boss of the branch of our organization that started up in the Village of Firefly. H-his third in command was named Menchi, he was the enforcer for Kiyoshi sama." He answered back, taking a few breaths so he could stop panicking. I sat still once again, now remembering the boss that I slaughtered before asking again, "This Menchi person, did he happen to have a missing finger?" The grunt nodded apprehensively in agreement. I sighed before standing up fully, walking away from the man, missing the face of recognition and horror that he adopted, "Y-y-y-you are the one who killed them!? You're Katomi?" He asked as I sighed again and turned around, "How do you know, am I already popular with the boys, ya know, I'm only nearly 8 years old?" I asked smirking slightly at the quivering form of the man, "Y-yes, boss sama wants you dead, he's trying to find you." He responded shakingly. I nodded after hearing those words, completely unsurprised at the turn of events.

"Well, you and your comrades already know what happened here, I'm not going to pressure you to not say anything, but yes, I am Katomi Misamoto, the murderer of the Himawari. You'll do good to remember that, old sport." I said before beckoning my black and red wings to form while walking away. I paused for a moment before turning my head to gaze at the plankton over my shoulder, "I'm sure you are already going to tell your boss everything, so, you do that and tell him that I will not be going down easily. If I find out that he is keeping more slaves like you pricks tried to make me, there will be another bloodbath, remember it!" I finished, glaring from the corner of my eye and unleashing a dose of killing intent, causing the poor soul to faint. "Hm, well this day was gonna come anyway, either get all of the hidden villages jumpy at my power and lack of affiliation or somehow piss off the underworld, or maybe both at some point," I said before taking off, continuing on my journey west.

Land of Wind, Several Hours Until Sunagakure: New Atmosphere

"Fuck me sideways, it's like as soon as I step out of the Land of Rivers, the heat in the day or the cold at night is turned up or down several notches," I stated before landing in a large, desert cavern for rest, taking of drink of water from my thermos I had in my backpack. "Speaking of being fucked sideways, Katomi, I believe now would be a good time to tell you about something," Ariana said earning a curious look from me, "And what's that?" I asked. A moment passed before I got an answer, "Since you are nearly at the age of puberty for a young girl, I feel that this would be important to know. The gamer's body makes it so that you have an unlimited healing factor depending on your chakra level, and can provide some immunity from constantly needing to eat, use the bathroom, age, or sleep. However, your body will mature naturally up to full maturity, and at that point, aging will slow." I nodded and stayed quiet, allowing Ariana to continue, "Well when it comes to hormones, the gamer system cannot fully block or hamper them due to them being important for your physical maturity, along with the...enhanced emotions you may feel with them." She finished.

A look of horror crossed my face, remembering the downright degenerate things I was getting into in my past life around this point after discovering that if I rubbed myself in a certain area...well. "Fuck," I said simply, staring out into the distance of the desert. Continuing to remember the...experimental things...my former "best friend" and I were getting into as uneducated orphans forced to live in military barracks together at the age of exploration. With my mouth slightly ajar, I looked over to the nearest boulder and walked over to it. After reaching it, I turned around and pressed my back on it, sliding my way down to the ground until my bum hit the ground, and my hands rested on the knees of my bent legs. "Ariana..." I spoke out loud, "Yes Katomi?" She answered. I sighed, "What the hell am I going to do, spend most of my day masturbating? Please don't tell me I am going to have the same drive as my past life." A moment passed as I could have sworn Ariana was trying to laugh but simply wasn't able to due to technically being an Ai. "Well, you were reincarnated with the same personality, although slightly more jaded and perhaps more ruthless than your last life, it's not too far from possible if you were reincarnated with the same...um...drive you speak of."

I let my head fall downward with a sigh, "Damn," I said quietly as if I felt my soul leaving my body and glaring back down at me. "You damned horny slut, why were you given those genes from your damned ancestors? Of all things!" My soul said, or at least I must've imagined her saying that. Shit, this damn heat is getting to me. With another sigh, I spoke, "Let's just focus on this mission for now, we shall worry about that stuff later." "Understood, so what are your next moves?" Ariana responded. I sat still for a moment, pondering what was to come, "Now that we are in the Land of Wind, we need to make haste to Suna. When I get close enough to the village, I use shadow clones and transform them into crows using senjutsu chakra, if my theory is correct, they shouldn't be detectable since nature chakra flows all around the world. And besides, it should only take someone unlocking the usage of nature chakra in order to permanently feel it in the world, at least that's how it was for me." I answered back while standing back up and stretching.

"As planned, we will move at nightfall, after infiltration, I'll rendezvous with Karasu and comrades and continue scouting and initiating the third phase." I continued, looking out at the setting sun over the horizon. A moment passed before Ariana spoke once again, "And what's the backup plan?" I smirked before adding, "Well, what I really need is a few higher level scrolls that can at least tell me the basic principles of wind jutsus and higher level jutsus, if we have to make a quick exit and leave behind other scrolls, it'll be fine. I may have to just learn by trial and error and create my own jutsus then later on." "Why not go by trial and error right now?" She asked. I stroked my hair as per usual and answered, "Well, in canon, I do remember Naruto trying to cut leaves, however, now that I am in this fictional turned-reality world, important principles may need to be learned that as a reader, I was not able to learn about. In other words, what I read about in my last life, may not cover everything in this world, and as such, I need to be sure to get the proper information first before possibly blowing off my arm in an accident." I finished.

"Hm, I see your point, although it would've been more entertaining to see your arm get blown off." Ariana quipped. "Hm, and embarrass myself in front of an enemy? No beuno, amiga." I answered, before spotting what looked like a caravan in the corner of my vision. Since I was slightly elevated in the cave, I was able to spot the group of people with my enhanced vision quite easily. Without a second to waste, I immediately suppressed my chakra before making sure I was behind cover and watched as the group continued on their way, seemingly heading north with their path parallel to where I was. As they came closer, as much as 300 meters or so, I listened carefully and watched just as carefully. "Damn, those are definitely not just merchants," I said in thought, now able to clearly see the headbands on their heads. "Suna shinobi, one older man, fairly tall and muscular, likely a chunin or joinin. Three younger people, likely genin, all of them guarding a group of men and women along with their two wagons." I finished in thought. If I could guess, they must be heading towards the capital village of the Land of Wind. I stayed still as I watched them get further and further away, maintaining my sights on them until...

"What the hell?" I said mentally, seeing them disappear into smoke like..."Clones? Fuck-" My thoughts were cut short as I saw kunai flying towards my position. I instinctively jumped out of the cavern, channeling chakra into my legs and landing on a nearby rock. "Damn, even if I suppress my normal chakra, a trained jonin can probably still sense it," I thought in frustration, seeing the Suna team come from hiding with the genin protecting the caravan. "Tatsumaki, Kenji, Sanji, protect the clients, I'll handle this," said the jonin as he readied another kunai, glaring at me as I stood up straight. "Wait, wait, I do not want a fight, jonin san, I'm just a passer-by," I said with my hands raised, trying to calm him down.

"Hm, you cannot fool me, you're a ninja based on how you just jumped from the cave and landed there. Now, who are you? What's your affiliation?" He yelled back as he tensed up, the genin obediently followed his orders as they stood in front of the scared civilians. I sighed outwardly and cursed inwardly at my luck, it seemed that a fight was inevitable, "I have no affiliation, and I do not wish harm," I answered back, intentionally avoiding the first question. "You're a missing-nin? Hm, it matters not, surrender now and quietly, you will be questioned later." He answered back, eyes narrowed and not letting up from his stance. I sighed again before tensing up and readying myself, fuck me. I opened my eyes and allowed my battle fans to fall from my sleeves into my hands, narrowing my eyes threateningly, "I do not want this, but I am not surrendering to the likes of you." I answered back as his glare intensified, "We'll see about that! Windstyle, Vacuum Palm!" He shouted as our engagement began.
