"Open yohr mouth, buddy as I think you're not doing good, but why didn't you tell us you're not feeling good." Rocket asked Ranger. It was a few days later and Ranger was in bed because he was sick and had been hiding it from Rocket and Bud but they sensed something's off with him but Bud had found him feverishly in the greenhouse so had brought him inside so Nebula had grabbed the first-aid kit noticing a worried look on Rocket's furry face.
"I was trying to be brave like dad and Rocket, I should've told you guys." Ranger said coughing making Bud, Nebula and Rocket understand, that he was different from his dad and brother but he was just as good in his own ways. "We'll talk aboht it later, but you have to rest." Rocket told him seeing Bud put a cold cloth on Ranger's furry head. "Sshhhh my sweet yokel you need to rest. I'll get you meds to fight the germs." Bud said seeing Ranger's furry cheeks go pink hearing the nickname Bud called him.
"It's adorable Ranger, don't worry we won't use it against you." Rocket told his brother seeing Bud nodding as he cared about Ranger as they left him be to rest and Rocket was going to the drugstore to get meds for Ranger to help him get back on his paws knowing Bud and Blossom were taking good care of him.
Rocket Senior was astounded, hearing Ranger was sick but Rocket reassured him, that it was just a bad cold, that he and Bud were taking good care of him relieving the fluffy elder male raccoon hanging up. He had returned to Wondergore to be with his beloved Herbert but keeping in contact with his boys, and come to Knowhere if they needed him so relieved that Rocket was taking care of his brother.
"He's been mumbling about yohr mom in his sleep, and telling her not to kick you out, whatever that means, and you got the meds." Rocket heard Bud saying making his eyes widen in surprise that Ranger was thinking about that taking deep-breaths. "It's okay bro, I'm here and not going anywhere. The fever's playing tricks on you making you remember bad stuff like mom, but you'll feel better soon." he reassured Ranger majing Bud curious only seeing the look on Rocket's face meant now wasn't the best time to ask. "Go get him some water or something to drink." Rocket told hik seeing the male goat leave.
"?.. Are you here really Rocket, you didn't disappear or leave." he heard Ranger asking.
"I'm still here, bro and not going anywhere, it's what bros do." Rocket toldhim seeing Ranger nodding as Bud walmed in, relieved that Ranger was awake
