Michael woke up on the couch. Feeling the best rest that he's had for years. Stepping on the floor. He started making sure he was still in semi-good condition, he fought Xeroc yesterday after all.

As he stretched, his mind wandered on how he would get money, after all he was teleported here by his cellphone. How would he get a job to earn money? Maybe living out the rest of his life as a farmer was a good idea, he did enjoy farming after all.

Sure, he's quit being the hero. But that's about it. He just doesn't want to be regarded as the hero of Terraria anymore, too many expectations for him to prove. As he thought about it, his mind wanders onto more important matters.

'Right... Other Terrarians. Guess I'm not the only one.' He thought as he sat down on the couch of the envoy's house. He supposed that this was Terraria in the future, but it doesn't quite fit considering the ammunition they use here. He had never seen it before yesterday after all. Though it's not quite off the way to assume it is Terraria.

He thought of leaving the Storm Weaver and signus's house for a bit. Namely so that he could explore the town for a bit, he didn't get to explore it too much yesterday after all.

"I guess I can explore the town for bit while they're gone." He stood up and started to walk to the door of the house.

As he walked to the door, he passed by an extravagant looking clock on the wall. It said that the time was 5AM, not surprising him. Especially considering that he was used to waking up at ungodly hours just to fight something.

Seeing the morning sun, he decided to walk around for a bit to explore the town. Maybe he could find a blacksmith so he could find a way to repair some weapons of his, over there.

But he couldn't quite see a way for him to repair his stuff, seeing as he was penniless after all. 'And I don't see how I would find a way to fix my equipment without being suspicious.' The former hero sighed as he walked around town, he noticed people looking at him. Sometimes walking away from him if they were close enough to him.

'I assume that Terrarian's are hated around here.' Seeing no other reason why people avoided being near him, after all he was ousted as a Terrarian by Storm weaver in the restaurant. 'Information spreads quite fast around here though.' As he thought about it, he noticed the trio of guards from yesterday patrolling an area near the wall the town had to his left.

Noticing some obvious differences such as the captain, as he had spotted a sword in her sheath, seeing as she didn't have the strapped on her belt yesterday. Though he can't really figure out what it's like seeing as it was in the sheath. But he had noticed that the sword had a bit of a weird design. Then again, he can't really say anything about design choices, can he? He decided to put the design choice for the sword aside for the time being.

Along with the captain wearing some new armor, though it doesn't seem to protect many vitals and it looked light. He decided to move on before he could get seen by them. They think he's still asleep after all, at least, that's what he thinks. That and he doesn't want to be asked more questions right now.

As he walked away after inspecting them for a short time longer, he thought about the weapons that the two had on them. He didn't expect that Lili girl having a great sword strapped to her back. It looked too big for her to use, then again, he doesn't know how strong they are exactly.

Moving on, he remembered TA- Sapphire had a couple of tonfas strapped to her belt. 'Did... Did they have this before? Why don't I remember them having these?' All he remembered these two using was a spear that would break after ten more hits.

Though it was probably due to the unexpected attack of that Grimm horde, seeing as there wasn't much time for them to act before the Grimm attacked the civilian populace here. 'And assuming that they were off duty it would make sense that the only weapons they had at the time were the spears.' He had assumed they were taken from the barracks.

He sighed as he decided to find a smithy before he got caught being outside. Seeing as they wanted to keep an eye on him, and he doesn't really like being... watched 24/7. The eye of Cthulhu taught him that.

'That was the worst experience by that point.' He sighed, remembering all the time he spent trying to find something that may or may not be there. Trying to take his mind off that thought he looked at his surroundings, noticing a distinct and obvious anvil sign on a building.

'Guess I didn't need to ask around.' He looked at the smithy and decided to try and get a job there if the farmer plan didn't work out quite well. But for the time being he decided to get some weapons repaired. As he was about to enter the building, he remembered that he had no currency that this world used.

Deciding to map out the area the smithy was in. Michael then decided to find someone that could purchase the platinum coins he had, hopefully earning quite a bit with each one seeing as they were made entirely of platinum. 'Though I don't know if the platinum coins here are priced well.'

'Then again... I don't quite know if they have any materials or equipment required to fix any of the blades I made after the wall of flesh.' Those swords were a lot harder to make than he'd like to give them credit for, seeing as they needed a mythril anvil or else it would break the ones he already had.

He decided to rely on the platinum sword for now until he finds a way to make another night's edge. And besides the platinum sword was sharp enough to kill Grimm without much effort. Though that might be because of his unnatural strength, he's not quite sure.

By now he had explored most of the town, yet he found no jeweler. And he eventually wound up back at the entrance of the town, seeing as there were a couple guards lazing around at the gate, he assumed that it was a nice calm day for them.

Though he did notice there was a person walking to the town. 'Wait, scratch that they're running to the town.' Noticing nothing behind the person running he decided to just simply find an antique shop and sell his coins.

As he was about to walk away, he remembered a very important fact. All his coins were in his piggy bank. So, selling coins out of thin air was a no go if he doesn't want to be suspicious. As he was thinking he noticed a bench near an inn near the gate and decided to sit and think.

'Guess it's about time for me to switch looks.' The former hero had amassed quite a few outfits during his journey, and changing his hair style wasn't too difficult, seeing as he had asked the stylist to teach him about it during his free time.

As he sat down, he noticed the trio of guards walking to the entrance of the gate. Seems like they were going to greet the person, and luckily, he wasn't noticed by them... somehow, he's not quite sure how they didn't see him.

'Guess I just blend in with the background.' He thought absentmindedly as he looked towards them, completely unnoticed. As he was about to sit up and walk, he noticed the trio and stranger speaking to each other, looking like they were leading them to the inn.

Of course, he didn't want to be seen by them, so he just decided to simply walk away. 'Maybe I should change my outfit right now.' The former hero thought as he walked away, feeling that he was being watched by the stranger.

Assuming it was a passing glance. He started walking, though he noticed something strange about the stranger. Their mana was higher, significantly higher than the other people here.

Naturally, he assumed it was a mage that had a katana just in case an enemy got too close. Thinking nothing more of it he went off to find an antique shop. 'Maybe, they're a new recruit.' As he walked along, he found himself at the wall of the town, and as he approached it he heard a strange noise on the other side. Assuming this is the Beowulf that disappeared last night. He decided to deal with it.

'Now, how do I get over that wall? I mean, I do have rope.' Thinking of a way to get over the wall, he decided on the multitudes of rope he had refused to throw away. Pulling it out of his inventory, he threw it over the wall and started climbing.

'Guess it's time to kill it.' He jumped down to the Grimm with a platinum sword. He wasn't going to waste precious ammo after all. 'Though maybe using magic was easier? I didn't really plan this out.'

The Beowulf, noticing his presence, growled and decided to immediately pounce by throwing its claw to his right; the former hero dodged under the slash, and seeing an opportunity, he cut off its arm before it could recover. The Grimm howled, out of pain, he doesn't quite know. Of course, that only hindered it for a little bit, he had remembered these things are persistent enough to ignore pain just so they could hunt down people

Choosing to not drag the fight out he dashed in front of the Beowulf and pierced straight through its skull,

And as it collapsed onto the ground to fade, he mentally noted that these Beowulf's were quite weak, not quite as weak as slimes though.

'Though they do make up in numbers.' He saw several more Beowulf's rearing their heads out of the foliage of the forest. The former hero sighed, before getting into a better fighting position.

Climbing back up on the wall, and jumping down, he pulled out a cleaning cloth only to notice the blood fading away from his sword. 'Well, that's convenient.' The former hero thought as he put his sword back in his inventory.

Looking around to see nobody, he let out a sigh of relief; after all, how would people react to seeing the amnesiac climb up and down the wall without any difficulties? He hadn't changed his look yet after all.

Opting to go back to Signus's and Storm Weaver's house and wait there to see if the trio of guards went back to get him. The Envoys did say he was a Terrarian after all and considering the reactions he got from just walking in town. He knew they weren't viewed too nicely.

While he was heading over, he had noticed the stranger walking to the smithy he passed by minutes ago. 'Probably to maintain their katanas condition.' Choosing to ignore them he walked back to the house and entered it.

Of course, the moment he entered the house did he realize that... he never saw the envoys during his walk. And they also weren't in the house when he woke up. 'Guess they were at their job, or whatever they do to keep this house.'

'Most likely mercenary work.'

He looked at the clock, it said 9:15AM. 'Guess I wasn't outside for too long.' Noting this he decided to sit back on the couch to wait.

But before that, he decided to inspect all his weapon's conditions. But as he did so, he noticed one sword that wasn't so much as scratched. Zenith was the name he gave it. The physical culmination of his journey in Terraria, a weapon that endured more than others, just like him. Yet, it remained unbroken.

It wasn't the strongest weapon he had during his journey by far sure, but it held a special place in his heart. Though, there was the feeling that he was using the sword wrong. Like he could use it for more than what it currently was. Heck, he usually forgets to use it more during battles.

How had he not noticed its pristine condition in the field of broken weapons. He had no clue, he chalked it up to him being tired after the fight. But, considering that the platinum sword was enough to kill the Beowulf's, he decided to hold off on using it, seeing as it was a sword made near the end of his journey.

Shaking his head off the thought, he decided to put the weapons back in his inventory. And check his equipment, as expected. Most of it was broken, yet fixable. Fortunately, his Normality Relocator and other miscellaneous items are still functional, though he's not quite sure if the relocator was safe to use.

As he finished surveying his equipment he heard a knock on the door, expecting the envoys or guards, he put his equipment back and walked to the door.

And as he opened it, what he saw wasn't the envoys or the guards. Instead, it was the stranger. This time looking a bit more serious judging by their expression.

And this time he got a close enough look to inspect them. Around 5 ft 7, long white hair, with heterochromia eyes colored silver and amber. Wearing a jacket and pants colored navy blue. 'At least, I think it is navy blue?' Along with a certain aura that exuded determination. Though that guess might be wrong. It also seems that the katana they own is no longer with them.

Maybe it was being repaired at the smithy.

Assuming that this stranger was a Terrarian. And assuming on the off chance he was correct, it would be a long day. 'I hope it's just a merchant.' The former hero prays, knowing that it wasn't close to being the correct answer for this stranger's occupation.

"Hello, may I help you?" Asking the stranger a simple question. The stranger answered with a feminine tone.

"Just asking around, say, have you encountered a Terrarian here by chance? I'm trying to get an interview with them. I'm a journalist you see." So, the stranger was a journalist trying to interview as many Terrarian's as she can. At least, that's what his thought process went to.

"I haven't seen one around here I'm pretty sure." Michael said to the shorter girl. Of course, he lied. If he were to out himself as the Terrarian. It would only be bad, that, and the fact he was supposed to be an amnesiac. 'But she doesn't have to know that.'

"Really? I heard one appeared here in Azure Springs recently? Was that information wrong?" So, the town's name was Azure Springs. 'But... there's no springs here?' The former hero thought. Well, he hasn't seen one yet.

Shaking his thoughts away the former hero looked towards the journalist.

"Well, I didn't check the news yet. So, it'd be nice if you could explain how one of them appeared here." Though there was something that caught his mind. 'Why would a journalist have a katana?'

"Well, I heard that a new one just appeared around the forest. So, I decided to try and go here to interview them." The Starbearer spoke as she looked at the slightly taller man. Asphodene and Eridani were off in the observatory trying to find something, so she was the only one that could investigate right now.

Now the reason she was here was simple, she felt a sense of dread coming from this house. Though it feels like the feeling was false, seeing as the man in front of her didn't look too dangerous, along with the presence gone instead of being stronger.

'Just what was that feeling?'

Deciding to inspect the man, she noticed that he was 5 ft 9 and had black bushy hair, black eyes and clothing that looked mismatched. If she didn't know better, she would have assumed that he just woke up from bed. But upon further inspection he just simply looked tired, and with nothing better to do.

Though she did see him walking around near the entrance, she doesn't really think that matters too much.

'Though it feels like I remember him from somewhere perhaps-.'

"Interesting. Though, I don't really know why you decided to interview one of them." The man's voice broke her out of the thought.

"I just want to know if they're like those other villainous Terrarian's." After speaking, she noticed the man's look. He looked slightly shocked, yet he looked like he somewhat expected that answer, though she might have an inkling why.

After all, he did look quite suspicious, especially with that aura he exudes. Not enough to truly know if he was one, but considering the feeling she felt when she was close to this house it was enough to suspect him.

"Why would you try to look for one if you don't even know that they won't kill you on sight?" The man deadpanned as he asked a valid question, after all, why would a journalist try to interview a Terrarian. Nevertheless, a Terrarian that just appeared.

"Well, not all of them are horrible people. I'm just hoping they're the few like them." She gave a quick response, quite a fast one too. Though, it wasn't a good excuse 'Scratch that it's a stupid excuse.' The Starbearer thought as she looked at the man. The man looking a bit confused on her logic.

"Well... you should keep yourself safe instead of trying to find that Terrarian in the hopes that they're the few that won't kill you." The man looked at her, clearly not seeing her logic.

"Can I have one last question-" She spoke, only to be cut off by another voice, one that the man seems to be familiar with, judging by the look he gave her.

"Hello Michael!" A cheery voice broke through the conversation between them, making the Starbearer look toward the source of the noise. Only to see the three people that introduced her to the town. 'What were their names again? Sapphire, Lilac, and?' The Starbearer tried to rack her memory of the encounter.

And as she was trying to do so, it seemed the trio went up to the man now named Michael. Though only one of them seemed to be enthusiastic to speak to him, namely Sapphire, the rest seemed to be indifferent.

"We heard that-"

"We heard that you were walking around the town." Lilac cut off Sapphire abruptly, giving the man a look that the Starbearer couldn't decipher, but judging by the man's expression, it wasn't good.

"Hey! Don't just cut me off!" Of course, Sapphire wasn't going to let her be cut off that easily. But seeing as Lili didn't bother to apologize, and Sapphire, seeing she was being ignored, just started pouting.

"Yeah, I just decided to explore the town seeing that no one was here to give me a tour of the town." Michael spoke as he turned to look at Sapphire, who was still pouting, which reminded her. 'Did they forget I was here?'

'They just cut me off! How rude!' Sapphire, while slightly offended that she was cut off, didn't bother to hold a grudge. That wasn't something she would do; she was quite a nice person to everyone around her after all.

In fact, in all her time living in Azure Springs she never held a grudge, an impressive feat no doubt. One that helped her gain the trust of everyone in town. Something she was quite proud of.

But enough about her, her mind wandered onto the person Michael was talking to earlier. 'Luna, was it? Hadn't she just gotten in town?' Excuse her for why she was a bit confused on why she's interacting with Michael of all people. 'Does she know him?'

Shaking her head Sapphire decided to ask Luna why she was there. After all, she needed to know.

"Hey Luna, what brings you here?"

"No particular reason." Luna replied nonchalantly, but in doing so, grabbed the attention of the others, namely Scarlett and Lili. Of course, Luna knew that speaking would attract their attention to her.

"Woah!" both of her friends shouted out in surprise, even doing a slightly humorous move, it seemed they actually didn't register Luna being there, instead only seeing Michael, their reactions were surprising to both Luna and her, and looking over to Michael, he looked slightly annoyed. 'I wonder why?'

"How didn't we see you!" Lili spoke out to Luna, seemingly recovered from the surprise of her being there.

"I was here the entire time though?" Luna replied, a bit annoyed that she wasn't even noticed by the two guards. Seeing this, Sapphire decided that maybe talking in the entrance of Signus, and Ellie's house wasn't the best thing, seeing as all of them were grabbing the attention of the passersby.

"Shouldn't we go inside the house to talk?"

"Shouldn't we go inside the house to talk?" Sapphire said, grabbing the attention of both him, and the others. Hearing the others agree, he walked to the living room, and waited for them to enter

Sighing inwardly, he wondered how long this conversation would last, he also wondered about how much longer he could hold up the lie seeing as both the journalist and the guards were here.

The journalist didn't know he had amnesia, but the guards did. 'So, if they talk about that, I'm pretty much screwed.'

Now he wasn't good at mind games, he was more a brute force guy after all, learning the enemies attack patterns and all that, but the more he thinks about it, the more he realizes that he should've thought more about things.

Of course, there wasn't much about the foes he fought; most of the enemies that fought him did it out of instinct, not much more than that. But the ones that didn't. Those were the ones he felt conflicted about the most.

Shaking his head Michael decided to redirect his thoughts to the current situation instead of the past like usual, he wasn't going to reminisce about them. That and the current situation called for attention the most.

Hearing footsteps, Michael looked towards the entrance and saw the four women, talking about something, what was it? He didn't care enough to listen. It certainly wasn't about him, that's for sure

'Now How am I gonna get out of this situation without issue? And Signus and Storm Weaver aren't here yet, for some unknown reason so that's one less headache to worry about.' The former hero liked to think positively in situations like these after all. How else could he have pushed through with the things he did if all he did was be pessimistic?

A/N: Hello.
