Hope you had a happy Groundhog Day and no time loops.

Today (February 3, 2024) is when Barry Allen headed to from 2017 in order to get details about how to defeat Savitar in The Flash episode, "The Once and Future Flash," front Season 3, episode 19. And since this chapter has Peter-4 talk about the events of "Flash and Spider-man," I thought it was appropriate to release this chapter.

Also, RIP Carl Weathers, best known for the Rocky films, Predator, Happy Gilmore, The Mandalorian, and Arrested Development.

Chapter 10

The 4 Spider-Men, MJ, and Ned head inside the school and into one of the science labs. Peter-3 puts on a lab coat over his suit and has taken off his suit gloves. Peter-1 takes all the cures from out of the tote bag and onto the table.

"Okay, so, uh, Connors, Marko, Dillion, Caitlin, and, um…" Peter-1 says as he points to the different cures, but doesn't want to list Norman. "Look, I think I can repair the devices for Dillon and Marko, but the others…"

"Oh, I got Connors. I've already cured him once, so no big deal." Peter-3 said. The response left the other Spider-Men to look at Peter-3 in surprise. "What? It's no big deal."

"Great," Peter-2 responds

"Yeah, that's great," Peter-1 agrees as Peter-3 awkwardly goes to another part of the lab.

"Cool, let me know if you need assistance. I've also cured my Connors. Or I can help you with Max or Flint." Peter-4 tells Peter-3 and then 1.

"Well, why don't you cure Caitlin?"

"I can't cure Caitlin, she's not meant to be cured. Frost is meant to be a part of her. She becomes a hero. She and Caitlin are both my wife."

"Really?" Peter-1 and 2 said in unison.

"Yeah, you guys weren't there for that part." Peter-3 said.

"Yeah, I'm from her future." Peter-4 told them.

"Yeah, it's been years since I dealt with Max or Connors."

"Same with Norman, Otto, and Flint." Peter-2 told them.

Peter-1 then realizes, "Wait, the cure Norman gave Caitlin wasn't an actual cure! My spider sense tingled just before she drank it. I stopped her from drinking it, but Goblin shot her, maybe with a dart with the same stuff. I don't know what it actually does, but maybe the flash drive does." Picking up the flash drive and handing it to Peter-4.

"Ok, I'll go over to the computer and check the info on here." Peter-4 says, gesturing to the flash drive and nearby computer.

"I think I can make an anti-serum for Dr. Osborn." Peter-2 says, even if Peter-1 isn't happy about that. "Been thinking about it a long time. Gotta cure all of them, right?"

"Right," Peter-1 says, a little begrudgingly.

"That's what we do." Peter-2 says before heading to another part of the lab. As Peter-1 is still thinking about Norman killing May, he notices MJ looking in his direction as the three other Spider-Men are behind him working.

"What?"

"Just…four yous." She points out, which causes Peter-1 to chuckle and it cheers him up a bit.

A while later, the four Spider-Men are working on their cures (with safety goggles and gloves, of course). Peter-4 found the data from the Fabricator and discovered that Norman's "cure" turned Caitlin into Frost for good. But the data (and Karen) piece together a cure, so that she can be both Caitlin and Frost again, but also allow for Lucius Fox's cure to balance them out in the original timeline. So, Peter-4 starts working on the cure to save his wives and the future they have. At one point Ned, slides over on a swivel chair to talk to the multiversal Spider-Men.

"Um, so, do you have a best friend too?" Ned asked Peter-2.

"I did," Peter-2 tells him solemnly.

""You did?""

"He was Norman's son, Harry. He died in my arms… after he tried to kill me. It was heartbreaking."

"Dude!" Peter-3 exclaims in a whisper. "My Harry also tried to kill me."

Peter-2 heard that and turns to Peter-3, giving a "sorry to hear that" face.

"What about you?" Ned asks Peter-4.

"Well, I already told you about Ronnie and Oliver. I didn't have a lot of friends growing up. But lately, that's changed. There's been people like Barry, Cisco, Eddie, Felicity, Matt, Wade, Jessica, Luke, Ray, Sara, Nate, and so many others. I have lost others like my Harry Osborn and others like Snart and Stein." Peter-4 tells him.

"Jesus. Loving marriage, CEO of a scientific company, lots of friends, your very blessed man. I kinda hate that about you." Peter-3 mutters.

Ned then heads back over to Peter-1.

"Hey, will you run a diagnostic?" He asks Ned.

"Yeah," Ned replies.

After Ned goes to run the errand for Peter-1, his girlfriend, MJ, comes over to check on him.

"Hey, you okay?" She asks, reassuringly

"Uh, yeah, I'm fine," he lies. "Are you okay?" She nods and the two look at each other for a while. "You don't deserve this. I've ruined your life."

"No. No, no, no." She replies as she cups his face. "Look at me. I'm here. I'm not going anywhere. We're going to get through this and we're going to get through it together, okay?"

Peter-1 nods in agreement and replies, "Okay."

"Okay," she replies back before the couple rest their foreheads on one another.

"Thank you."

Across the room, Peter-3 notices the cuteness of the couple and is a bit sad he doesn't have that with Gwen anymore. Peter-2 and 4 notice this.

"You have someone?" Peter-2 asks Peter-3, who shakes his head no.

"No." He replies and sighs. "Ah, I got no time for Peter Parker stuff, you know?" But notices that Peter-2 can't relate. "Do you? I know he's married to a woman with a second personality, but what is your story?

"Yeah, do you have a girl…or boy, whatever is cool for you? I know we're in a bit of a hurry, but my cure's in the centrifuge, so it could take a few minutes." Peter-4 asks.

"Okay, uh, her name was MJ, well, Mary Jane. Her family moved next door to Ben and May when I was six. When I first saw her, I asked Aunt May if she was an angel. But she had an abusive relationship with her father. But ever since, I've had a huge crush on her."

This is starting to sound like Barry and Iris, minus the abusive father. Fortunately Joe isn't like that, just was okay with his foster son marrying his daughter. Peter-4 mentally complained.

"After I first got my powers, I entered a wrestling competition to win money to buy a car and impress her. I won but the fight promoter stiffed me. Right afterward, he got robbed. I could have stopped the robber, but I decided getting robbed was his karma. But outside, his partner, Flint Marko, (yes, the same Flint we're curing) was trying to make Uncle Ben give him his car for their getaway. But the robber I didn't stop surprised them and Flint accidentally shot Ben. I didn't interact with Mary Jane again until after we graduated a few months later and I officially started working as Spider-Man. She was working as a waitress at the Moondance Diner-"

"Oh, I like that place!" Peter-3 exclaimed.

"Well, it's there that I found out she had started dating Harry, who was also my roommate then. I don't think she started to like me as more than a friend, in a way, until I saved her as Spider-Man from Norman as the Green Goblin. I then saved her again a few days later from rapists and muggers. We then shared a kiss with my mask half up."

"Wait, was she still dating Harry when you two kissed?" Peter-4 asked

"Uh, yeah."

"Seriously!?" Peter-3 said, surprised by the polite and nice Peter-2, who dismisses their responses by continuing his story.

"Anyway. Norman figured out my identity and hurt May, sending her to the hospital. Mary Jane and I went to visit her. There, she told me about her crush on Spider-Man. I told her I was friends with "him" since I took pictures of "him" for the Daily Bugle, which is a newspaper in my world."

"Yeah, I did the same in college." Peter-3 said.

"High School and college for me." Peter-4 said.

"Well, I told her that I told Spider-Man what was so great about her. But Harry thought I was making a move and went to be consoled by his father. It gave Norman the idea to use her as bait to get to me. I saved her, but I got him killed or maybe he won't now."

"Yeah, I guess you two will be going to alternate timelines of your universes."

"Well, at his funeral, she told me she had fallen for me, Peter Parker. She kissed me, but I told her I just thought of her as a friend. I thought it would be safer for her in case another villain discovered my identity."

"I hear you, Caitlin and I waited until our "villain of the year" was defeated before either of us revealed we loved each other and a few years later, I proposed to her after we defeated another."

"Nice. Well, a few years later, she got a role in an off Broadway play. I wanted to impress her by attending and after some advice from Otto, before he turned evil; "recite poetry to her.""

"But you still wanted to be friends to keep her safe? Cause it sounds like you still wanted to date her."

"Huh, hadn't thought of that. It didn't matter anyway, my Spider-Man duties caused me to miss the play and caused her to get mad at me. She was dating Jameson's son at the time-"

"Whoa!" Peter-3 and 4 exclaimed.

"That's gotta suck, he bashes you in the news and his son dates your crush." Peter-4 exclaims.

"Got worse, Jameson's son proposed to her and she accepted." Peter-2 told them.

"Yikes!"

"Yeah, it caused a bit of a crisis of faith and I decided to retire as Spider-Man and focus on being Peter. I finally saw her play. Afterwards, I tried to ask her to have dinner with me-"

"Again? She was engaged! You don't ask out or kiss people in relationships, unless you're sure the couple wants to be a throuple with you!" Peter-4 almost yelled!

"Well it kinda worked, I caused her to doubt her decision or, at least she wanted to know if I was Spider-Man, since she's kissed both Spider-Man and Peter Parker. She wanted to kiss me again to check. But before we could, Otto interrupted. He was evil by this point and kidnapped her. I rescued her, convinced Otto to help me stop his machine, and revealed my identity to both of them in the process. His machine was one he rebuilt for sustainable fusion. The machine would have destroyed the city, so he sacrificed himself to save it."

"I guess Otto will have to do that again, unless you found a way to stop the machine without anyone having to sacrifice themselves?"

"No, I've been through his notes and talked to colleagues of his, no alternative. But after he saved us, I told Mary Jane about why we couldn't be together. But the next day, she ran away from her wedding and told me in her wedding dress that she still wanted to be with me, despite the dangers. So, we kissed and started dating."

"But she'd still technically be married. Even though she ran away before the start of the ceremony, she would have still been legally married because you have to get registered at city hall a day or so before the ceremony. Caitlin and I had to."

"Same, when me and Mary Jane had to get married. And yeah, she had to get divorced and she had to pay off the debt for the wedding to Jameson. But, before we did get married, the next challenge in our relationship was several years later. She got a role in a Broadway musical, while Spider-Man was starting to be famous and loved by the public. But while I was getting high on how great things were going for me, she was getting bad reviews and then got fired from the musical. She even got a job at a jazz cafe without telling me."

"She never told you these big events were happening in her life?"

"No, I was busy enjoying being Spider-Man after years of seeing it as a curse. I could've been a better boyfriend, because instead of coming to me about this, she went to Harry. They even kissed."

"Even though she was still technically in a relationship with you?"

"Yeah."

Ok, so they're both toxic. Is he from a universe where reality is like a soap opera? Then again, mine sometimes feels like a CW action/drama. Peter-4 thought.

"Harry had taken over as the Goblin to get revenge on me. He used this opportunity to mess with me and black mail her into breaking up with me. I fought and defeated him and…well, I wasn't in a good place then. I went to the jazz cafe with my classmate that Mary Jane was jealous of, Gwen." Peter-2 continues before turning to Peter-3. "Maybe she's the doppelgänger of your Gwen. What was her last name?"

"Stacy," Peter-3 told her, a little sad.

"Same, was her father named George and a police Captain?"

"Yeah, he was. He was killed by Connors. It's ok, please continue."

"Sorry, but anyway, I brought her to the Jazz club to make Mary Jane jealous, but Gwen didn't like it and left. I realized I made a mistake, but I got in a fight with the manager and bouncer, which led to me accidentally hitting Mary Jane."

Peter-4 decided not to comment on that. He could tell from the look on Peter-2's face that he was ashamed by that incident.

"I later saved her from Flint and Eddie, a rival at the Daily Bugle." Peter-2 continued. "Harry, apologized and helped me save her. We beat Eddie, I let Flint get away, he apologized after he told me killing Ben was an accident he regretted. It was then that Harry died in my arms. I eventually apologized to Mary Jane and it took a while, but we made it work…still a work in progress. We got married, been trying to conceive. But May got ill. She had to be moved to a nursing home to get more care. I dropped out of school to work more and Mary Jane had to get part time work along with auditions. But with everything going on…she slept with John Jameson, the same one she was legally married to for a few days. She said that she felt guilty about how she ended things between them and an apology dinner led to sex. We're taking couples counseling…"

"Peter, is she worth all that drama? I mean she cheats with you on two other guys and then cheats on you with them? Peter, I don't mean to be mean, but are sure it's love and not an obsession?" Peter-4 asked bluntly.

"What's the difference?"

"Love can lead to happiness, obsession can too, but also to misery. Tell me, how long did you live with Ben and May before she moved in next door?"

"About 7 months after my parents died, why do you ask?"

"Because your crush and relationship with Mary Jane reminds me of my friend, Barry and his ex-wife, Iris. They were childhood friends and his childhood crush too. When he was 11, his mother was murdered and his father was framed for doing it. Afterwards, he was adopted by Iris' father, Joe, who was also the arresting officer. Despite being foster siblings, Barry had gotten more obsessed with her since she comforted him and he was sleeping a few feet away from his crush's bedroom. When I met him in our mid 20s, she was dating her dad's police partner, Eddie. Barry also became a superhero that could move faster than anything. We became partners in crime fighting. Barry finally revealed his crush on her, despite already dating Eddie. Barry tried to move on, unintentionally started dating a work colleague of Iris' and Iris tried to sabotage the relationship by talking about his crush on her to his new girlfriend."

"Well, maybe that just shows that she liked him back."

"But they were both in relationships!"

"I agree with him, even if Gwen was in a relationship. I'd still try to respect her wishes." Peter-3 agreed…partly.

"Granted, Joe thought she may have feelings for Barry but would stay loyal to Eddie. But honestly, Joe's biggest mistake was being okay with his foster son being in love (or so they thought) with his daughter." Peter-4 continued, a little peeved at Joe West. "Afterwards, events happened that made Iris admit her feelings for Barry and they kissed, even though they were both in relationships!" He said, a little angry at Barry. "But because of some sci-fi shenanigans-"

""Sci-fi shenanigans?"" Peter-2 asked.

"Oh yeah, I've dealt with things you've only heard of from science fiction and not just the multiverse; time travel, clones, faster than light travel with Barry's powers, teleportation, shrinking, flying people, the philosopher's stone, aliens, etc.!" He told them, a little exhausted with how bat shit crazy his life has become. "Well for Barry, he experienced time travel with his speed and changed events, causing the kiss to never happen, but he still broke up with his girlfriend. When Iris found out that Barry didn't reveal he was a superhero sooner, she threw a fit."

"Yeah, even when MJ found out, she was more relieved than anything."

"Okay, that is something to like about her. But later on my Earth, Eddie died to save us all, because the villain we were fighting was his future descendant, who was also the real murderer of Barry's mom. So, Eddie killed himself to stop him. Kinda like Sarah Connor/John Connor in Terminator 1."

"Gotcha. Wait, wouldn't the descendant be Iris' descendant too?"

"No, we found Eobard's (Eddie's descendant) computer and it revealed a newspaper from nine years in the future then, but is now this year and the byline read Iris West-Allen, making it a certainty (unless they choose to ignore the article and choose their own destiny) that they'd end up together. Because there were later cases of if Iris died, the byline would change. After Eddie's death, Barry dated his replacement on the force, Patty. She and Barry were great, nice balance or opposites attract and birds of a feather. But she had to move away for school. She could have declined and stayed for him, she even revealed that she figured out that Barry was the Flash, that was his superhero name."

"Oh, because of his speed and the saying "be there in a flash.""

"Yeah, tell that to Cat Grant." Peter-4 muttered. Despite Kara Danvers' respect for her former boss, Peter didn't like her for how she named Kara and Barry superhero names they didn't like. But she was still a better journalist than Jameson. "Anyway, Patty was okay with being lied to and wanted to stay. But Iris gave him bad advice and he let her go. She sabotaged a relationship of his again and she was dating her editor at the time."

"Thank God Jameson is married and has never done that with any of his reporters or his secretaries, like Betty."

"Yeah, Iris later finally said yes to Barry, but personally, I think she did it out of comfort. She found out about the future news article and found out that Barry and I went to another universe and their doppelgängers were married there. So being married in the future and married in another universe, plus with him being a famous superhero, she started to date him. We later had to deal with an evil speed duplicate of Barry from the future, which is like a clone made with time travel. Barry temporarily went a few months into the future and saw that his duplicate, Savitar, would kill Iris then. Barry tried to stop this by changing news he saw in the future, even if it meant letting criminals go free. By only caring about saving Iris, he inadvertently caused Caitlin to become Killer Frost and a henchwoman for Savitar. When we tried to make it so that Savitar couldn't get any of Barry's new memories and Barry accidentally lost his memory, she took it upon herself to be in charge and decided to retrain him, even though we already agreed to get his memories back. We eventually got his memories back, saved Iris, brought Caitlin and Frost back to the light side of the force, and defeated Savitar. In fact, that's what awaits them when we send them back. But Savitar was supposed to be trapped in the Speed Force, the source of all heroic speedsters in the multiverse.

"Interesting, maybe there are some in our universes?"

"Perhaps. Anyway, without anyone in the Speed Force trap, the Speed Force threatened to destroy the planet. So Barry went into the trap as a way to atone. About six months later, a new threat came that wanted the Flash to fight him. So scientists from my company, my engineering friend (Cisco), Caitlin, and I created a way to trick the Speed Force into releasing Barry without destroying the world. Iris didn't want us to do this. To her, Barry going into the Speed Force was him essentially dying. She later forced him to couples therapy and told him that she saw it as him abandoning her.

"WHAT?!" Peter-2 and 3 exclaimed in unison.

"He saved her life and the lives of the whole planet! That ungrateful, selfish-" Peter-3 said.

"Language." Peter-2 said.

Oh great, this Peter is like that Captain America guy I met at Battleworld. Peter-4 said.

"But I will admit, before, it just seemed you had personal peeves with her. But she definitely seems selfish when it comes to your friend." Peter-2 also said. He then starts to be quiet for a bit.

"What is it?" Peter-4 asked.

"It's just when I wanted to retire after Mary Jane got engaged to John Jameson…May told me that sometimes to do what's right, we must give up the thing we want the most, even our dreams. Perhaps Barry should know that if he ever doubts his decision."

"Yeah." Peter said before continuing with his story. "Well, while he was gone and took time being a solo hero, Iris thought she should be in charge since she and Barry were engaged. But, I shut that down and made her see reason since she was the most like a civilian out of anyone on the team. After she and Barry got married, we encountered another threat and Barry and Iris' daughter from the future. She had super speed like Barry and traveled back in time to get to know her father, who died in the original timeline. We found out that future Iris suppressed her powers without her knowledge. Sure, Caitlin and I did something similar, with our kids-"

"WHAT?!" Peter-2 and 3 exclaimed in unison.

"Yes, I…am a father."

"Really? Another Star Wars joke, dude?" Peter-3 asked.

"Star Wars is pretty big in our family. I even made a real version of BB-8 for the kids. Close to the films as I could get, but I have him talk in Morse code instead of binary."

"What are their names?" Peter-2 asked.

"The eldest is a girl I adopted before Caitlin and I got married, named Frankie. She was a meta-human tween and…well, I knew how difficult it was to be young with superpowers…I wanted to help her." Peter-4 said as a sad smile came across his face.

"What is it?"

"It's just…the first time she called me dad...it was nice. I guess part of me always thought I'd never get a wife and children, that this life would always prevent that happiness." He says before recomposing himself. "Anyway, when Caitlin and I got married, she was already pregnant with our twins, Tommy and Tina, and Cr-uh, Caitlin is pregnant with our fourth. But, we had Tommy and Tina wear a bracelet or necklace to suppress their powers before they were old enough to learn to use them. But future Iris had a microchip in Nora's (her and Barry's daughter) body and planned to never let her know. I of course disagreed, not just because of Ben's saying about great power, but they should have the choice when it comes to using that power if they want to."

"Yeah, I do agree they should have a choice." Peter-2 said, remembering his crisis of faith when he fought Otto. At first he thought the advice from his doctor was bad. But, after revaluation years later, being Spider-Man is a choice. But now it's one he's glad that he chose.

"Well, because of Nora's changes to the past, she inadvertently sped up a crisis of infinite earths. A being of antimatter wanted to spread antimatter to the multiverse and-"

"Matter and antimatter can't exist simultaneously."

"Exactly, I even died. But my friends rebooted the multiverse and brought me back, but there were changes. Several universes combined with others. Eddie was alive and married to Iris and Barry was married to Patty. Barry still remembers because he was a paragons, one of the heroes to save the multiverse, but he died too and was resurrected. I talked him into giving Patty another chance and they're still happily married, they have a great daughter named Dawn, and I even performed their vow renewal."

"Okay, I get you have a bad experience with a woman your friend had a crush on since childhood. But from the sound of it, this Iris woman is way worse than Mary Jane."

"I'll give you that, but the point of my history with Barry and Iris is that Barry's obsession blinded him to Iris' faults and her selfishness affected Barry and made him his worst self. Are you absolutely positive that your love or obsession with Mary Jane hasn't blinded you?"

Those last words struck Peter-2. He once told MJ that she made him both stronger and weaker at the same time. Now he had to wonder if it was more of one than the other. He did wish she told him about getting fired from the musical, he wished she would have let him cheer her up or at least comfort her better when she got those first negative reviews. He also wondered if it was just obsession and not love. If he was blinded to any of the women he knew that could have been good partners; like Gwen, Ursula, or Betty.

"And as for you," Peter-4 said to Peter-3, "I once inadvertently put my company and Spider-Man life ahead of Caitlin, that when she had a problem, she felt like she couldn't turn to me for help. I later apologized and we worked through it. I know Ben told us all that with great power comes great responsibility. But let's be honest, he also wanted us to be happy and find love. We don't just have a responsibility to the citizens to save them, we have a responsibility to ourselves and who we love too."

"Yeah, when he told me, it was because I was neglecting my responsibility to help Aunt May." Peter-3 responded.

"Exactly. I wouldn't give up on being Peter Parker, if I were you. You will find love again."

"PETER!" Ned shouts from the other side of the room.

"Yeah?" All four Spider-Men say in unison, before realizing that Ned wasn't specific and also asked in unison, "Oh, sorry, did you mean…?" As they pointed at each other.

"Uh, "Peter" Peter."

"We're all (called) Peter." They said at once

"Peter Parker?"

"(Same) again, we're all Peter Parker."

"The computer!" Ned says in frustration as he points to his best friend.

"Oh!" Said Peter-1 as he heads to the computer and the others join him. "Oh, I'm ready."

"Yeah, me too." Said Peter-3

"Mine's just finished, too." Peter-4 replied as he took the cure out of the centrifuge.

"Okay, so now, all we gotta do is lure these guys someplace, right? Try to cure them while they try to kill us and then send them home."

"Using a magic box." Peter-2 pointed out.

"Well, that's the plan." Peter-1 told them.

"Wait, yours is just a vial. You gonna force feed Caitlin instead of injecting or gassing her?" Peter-3 asked Peter-4.

"I can talk her into taking the cure and joining our side. I've done it before." Peter-4 tells him.

"Ok, and what about you? Are you going into battle dressed as just a cool youth pastor or do you got your suit?" Peter-3 asked Peter-2. Peter-2 then lowered the collar of his t-shirt, revealing his Spider-Man suit underneath.

"Good to know," Peter-4 said.

"Here's your web cartridges." Ned said to Peter-1, as he hands Peter-1 extra web cartridges.

"Oh, thanks, man." Peter-1 said.

"What's that for?" Peter-2 asks about the web cartridges.

"Uh, it's my web fluid. It's for my web shooters. Why?"

Peter-2 then demonstrates why, as he sends a web blast from his bare wrist, to a stool that is upside down on a nearby table. The other five are shocked and in awe of this.

"Whoa!" Peter-1 exclaims.

"What the hell!" Peter-4 exclaims.

"That came out of you!" Ned exclaims.

"Yeah. You can't do that, huh?" Peter-2 asks, surprised they need tech to help shoot webs.

"No." Peter-1 says, surprised how normal shooting webs from your bare wrist is for Peter-2.

"How on earth does that even-?" Peter-3 asks.

Peter-1 then interrupts, to get them back on topic, "Anyway, we're getting sidetracked. This is where we're going to do this, okay? It's isolated, so no one should get hurt." Points to the location on the computer screen. "We draw them there with the box. It's the one thing they all want. All we have to do is figure out how to get there."

"Oh, we could portal there!" Ned tells them.

"What?"

"I'm magic, now."

"Yeah, no, no, he's right. He-he can." MJ agrees

"Yeah, we saw." Said Peter-2.

"Yeah, he is." Said Peter-3.

"It's how we all met tonight." Peter-4 tells him.

"Wait, really?" Peter-1 says, still surprised.

"I got Doctor Strange magic!" Ned responds

"No way!" He says, proud of his best friend.

"Yeah," he replies and then says before lifting up his safety goggles to be serious, "and I promise you: I won't turn into a supervillain and try to kill you."

After hearing that, Peter-3 puts a hand on Ned's shoulder and nods in approval.

"Okay, thank you (?)" Peter-1 replies in confusion.

"Um, all right, here goes nothing." He then turns to MJ, "What's that thing you always say? "Expect disappointment and-""

"No, no, no." MJ interrupts, not wanting this mission to be a failure. "We're gonna kick some ass!"

"Okay."

"Cure. Cure some ass." Peter-2 says correcting them.

"Cure that ass." Ned agrees.

Told you this chapter would be long.

To be clear, I have nothing against Candace Patton or Kirsten Dunst (Hell, her character in "Drop Dead Gorgeous" would make for a better love interest for Peter). But Arrowverse Iris West and Raimi Mary Jane Watson are pretty toxic partners. I was also thinking of including Peter-4 talk about Lana Lang from Smallville (let's face it, if Clark had just gotten over his crush on Lana sooner, he and Lois could have been a couple a lot sooner. Also, I don't hate Kristen Kreuk either). But in my version of Earth-1, I decided that "Superman and Lois" is somewhat canon and I like the version of Lana from that show and have it so that they broke up because Clark went to train as Superman.

In case no one got my reference. The diner that Mary Jane worked at in "Spider-Man (2002)" is the Moondance Diner, which is a real New York diner that Jonathan Lawson worked at and Andrew Garfield portrayed him in the Netflix film, "Tick, Tick…Boom!"
