It has been a week since Naruto received his Evil Pieces, and Koneko became his rook.
Throughout the week, Naruto and Koneko grew closer. Koneko even started sleeping in the same bed as Naruto and confided in him about what had happened to her and her sister. They also trained with Sirzech's Peerage, as Naruto's mother and her Peerage were out of town with his father's older sister, Yasaka Namikaze, who leads the Yokai faction.
"Koneko, are you ready to go make new friends?" asks a curious blonde redhead.
"Y-yes, Naruto-kun," she replied.
Koneko had grown close to Naruto, but due to her past, she remained timid around most people. Just as the two were about to leave, one of Kushina and Minato's maids announced that they would be calling in 3…2…1. Suddenly, a magic circle from the House of Gremory appeared, and out of it projected Kushina Gremory and Minato Gremory.
"Hey, Naruto," said Minato.
"Yo pops, I have someone I want you and Mom to meet. Koneko, come here, please," Naruto said.
"Ok, Naruto-kun," Koneko replied.
"Mom, Dad, this is Koneko. She is my first peerage member, my rook," Naruto explained.
"Aww! She's so adorable. And look, she's a nekomata at that," said Kushina.
"Koneko dear, are you by any chance a nekoshous?" Minato asked.
"Y-yes, sir Gremory," Koneko replied.
"First don't worry kiddo I'm not gonna hurt you so Lose the formalities, Koneko. You are a part of my son's peerage, so just call me Minato," he said kindly.
"Alright, now that the introduction is complete, Naruto and Koneko, are you both ready for your first day at Arima Elementary?" asked both Kushina and Minato.
"I'm worried about what might happen if they find out that I'm not human or if an angel or fallen notices me and tries to kill me or Koneko," stated a worried fox boy.
"But don't worry, you'll be in Yokai territory. Just be brave and remember what we taught you about how to check for the supernatural. If you sense anyone from the church or the fallen, let them feel you as a yokai, not a devil. That way, there won't be any need for anyone to try and attack you," stated Minato.
"Okay, bye," said Naruto.
"I love you, see you when I get back son," said Minato.
While that was happening with Kushina and Koneko, "You like my son, don't you?" asked Kushina.
This makes Koneko flustered.
"Y-y-yes, but I don't want him to know," replied Koneko.
"Good. I want you to know that he will have multiple wives. " Informed Kushina.
"I know he will, but I want to be the main one," said Koneko.
"If anything happens to my baby boy, I will hunt you down. Oh, look at the time! Both of y'all need to go," said Kushina.
When they got to school, "Who is your teacher? I got Kakashi Hatake, room 235," said one student.
"Naruto Kun, I got Kakashi Hatake too," replied another.
"So, looks like we will be in the same class this year," said Naruto.
"Come on Koneko Chan, let's go to class." "Alright, Naruto-kun." Koneko.
When they make it to class, the room is full of kids their age, talking loudly. Then Naruto tells Koneko that they should sit in the back and wait for the sensei to come. A few minutes later, the sensei arrives and says, "Hey there, students. I am Kakashi Hatake, but you will call me Kakashi Sensei. Now, please introduce yourselves, state your name, likes, dislikes, and your dream for the future."
The kids start to introduce themselves until the last four.
"My name is Irina Shido. My likes are swords, and my father. However, I dislike mean people and those who are unkind while looking down on girls. My dream for the future is to save the world from bad people."
"My name is Amigae Mitsuse. I like swords and my family. My dislikes are people who make fun of me for my mismatched eyes, and my dream for the future is to become the best sword wielder ever for my brother."
"M-m-My n-name is Koneko Tojo. I like Naruto-kun, chocolate, and cats. My dislikes are bullies and mean people. My dream for the future is to save my sister from herself."
"My name is Naruto Gremory. My likes are Koneko, chess, foxes, ramen, my mom, and my family. My dislikes are evil people, the time it takes for ramen to cook, and animal hunters. My dream for the future is to become the strongest person in the world."
"Okay, now that the introduction is done, let me tell you what we will be learning this year. Koneko, wake me up when it's time for lunch or if we have to go somewhere," Naruto whispered to Koneko.
When it was lunchtime, "Naruto-kun, wake up," said Koneko.
There was no response, and Koneko began to realize that he wasn't going to wake up from that. She started to nuzzle his cheek with hers, much like cats do. Then Naruto started to laugh, saying, "I'm up, I'm up." Smiling, Naruto looked at Koneko and kissed her cheek, making her turn beet red in embarrassment. "L-Let's go to recess."
When they make it to the park, "So Koneko what do you want to do first?" asked Naruto.
"Um maybe let's go on the slide, Naruto Kun," suggested Koneko.
"Um can we play with you two?" asks a child with violet eyes and chestnut hair in a ponytail.
"Sure but we need to introduce ourselves to each other," said Naruto, the only male in the group.
"I'll go first; I'm Irina Shido, nice to meet you," said the violet-eyed chestnut-haired girl.
"I-I'm Amigae Mitsuse, n-nice to m-meet y'all." A girl with one red eye and one green eye and black hair who looked like they had cried a lot recently.
"I-i-i'm K-koneko Tojo," stated a white-haired girl.
"Um, Amigae-san, can you come with me real quick?" asked Naruto.
"U-um sure, Naruto-san," said a confused female.
After Naruto and Amigae were away from the others, "The others don't seem to have noticed that you were crying quite recently. So what was it about?"
"My older brother died 2 weeks ago, and his name was Rasari, but the worst part was he died because he was outside looking for me because I wanted to play outside late and didn't tell Mom and Dad. I don't know why but I feel I can trust you so please don't tell the others about this," stated a now-crying Amigae.
"It's ok Amigae Chan it's not your fault there was no way you could have known that would happen," said Naruto, trying to convince the distraught female.
"Yeah, you're right, Naruto Kun." Said Amigae.
"All alright let's go back with the group before they get worried," stated Naruto.
"Now that you two are finally here let's play, all were talking for like 1000 years," exaggerated the hyper chestnut hair girl.
"Alright let's play tag, Tag you're it, try and get us Koneko if you can," taunted Naruto.
When recess is over, "yo Koneko Chan where do we go now," asked a courteous red and blonde-haired boy.
"I think gym, Naruto Kun," stated a girl with pure white hair.
Then a grin came on Naruto's face " Bet I get to show some of my abilities," said the slightly insane hybrid.
When they made it to the gym, "Remember Naruto Kun to hold back if you want you can be slightly better than the rest but nothing more."
"You say something I was just warming up, and you know I won't go all out, Koneko Chan. You know me better; I'm not that irresponsible," Naruto said.
"Uh, hun you're starting to float," stated a deadpan Koneko.
"No I'm not," said a confused Naruto.
Naruto looked down and saw he was indeed floating 2 feet above the ground.
"Wait I can float without my wings?" Naruto asked.
"Good thing we are the first ones here," stated Koneko.
"Alright, let's wait for the rest to come then get started with your flames of youth," stated the teacher who just came in.
When everyone made it to the gym, "Alright, I'm your gym teacher, Might Guy, and today we are going to test your flames of youth."
"What are the flames of youth? Are his eyebrows alive?" All the kids asked very confused.
"You will find out by doing a number of physical tests then ranked," said Might Guy.
When they finished testing, the ranking is 1st Naruto Gremory, 2nd Koneko Tojo, 3rd Rock Lee, 4th Irina Shido, 5th Amigae Mitsuse, and so forth. School is over; see you tomorrow.
