It had been a few days since they set sail from that larger island. Each day that went by, you showed off all your new clothes to the crew. And the whole crew was happy to see you happy. You haven't tried out your perfume oils yet, the one that Nami bought for you. The one that was to help you become your inner Siren and attract men with your pheromones. You wanted to try it so badly but Nami told you to wear it for special occasions. You had no idea what special occasion would be. But you decided to use it anyway. You take the dropper out of the bottle and put some oil on your wrists and some on your neck.
You smell yourself and realize there's nothing truly special about it. It smelled fruity and warm. You smiled as you liked the smell anyway and walked out of your room to do your daily chores for the day.
Today, you were with Sanji and Luffy, trying to catch fish with your net that you brought along when they found you. You smile at Sanji as he greets you and says good morning.
"Good morning!" Said Sanji.
"Hello." You said back to him.
"Well, today is probably going to be a relaxing kind of day. We have 2 days at sea until our next island." Said Sanji, he looked over at you and got a whiff of the perfume you had just put on and he stared at you. "New perfume?" He asked.
"Yeah. Nami got it for me when we went out shopping together! Does it smell good?" You ask.
"It smells heavenly…" he said and inched his face closer to your neck and gave your neck a sniff. "Mmm… truly breathtaking…" he said softly.
"Thanks…" you said as you figured that the seller wasn't lying about the product to get women to buy it. It actually made men want you.
"I could smell you for hours…" Sanji whispered into your ear, which sent shivers down your spine. You've never seen Sanji like this.
You felt your face heat up. Was this really happening? You began to wonder if Sanji would be your mate. However, your thoughts were interrupted when Luffy came up to you. "Hey! What's going on?" He asked.
"Oh, nothing. I was just enjoying a forbidden fruit." He said and winked at you.
Luffy tilts his head. "What do you mean?" He asked, but froze a bit as he could smell you. He turned his head to look at you. "Oh… Oh, I see now…" he said and blushed as he loved the way you smelled.
You smiled at him softly. "Do you like it?" You ask Luffy, who stared at you in a daze.
"Huh? Oh! Yeah, you smell great! You should wear that more often!" He said.
"I couldn't agree more!" Said Sanji.
You smell your wrist and smile at them. "I'm glad you like it." You said, with a smile.
The three of you spend an hour or so together. However, every once in a while, both Luffy and Sanji would lose their train of thought because a breeze would blow in their direction; and they could smell you.
Soon, you excuse yourself to use the bathroom and Nami happened to have glanced over and she smirked. "She's got them eating out of the palm of her hand." She said to Usopp.
"I know right. All three of those men are falling hard for Y/N." Usopp said as he steered the ship.
Nami looked at Usopp and smirked at him. "It's honestly been kinda entertaining." Said Nami.
"You're so cruel, Nami." Replied Usopp, looking at her.
"Why do you say that?" Nami asked.
"Well, you just admitted that watching Zoro, Luffy, and Sanji falling for Y/N is entertaining. What if it's actually a Siren's spell? Maybe she's enchanting them~" Usopp said to his friend, in a playful tone of voice.
"If that were the case, you and I would fall for her too." Nami said and rolled her eyes, playfully at him.
"Ah, Ah, Ah! You see, I have immunity! After all, I have Kaya back home and you have immunity because you're a girl!" He said.
"That's not how that works, you know." Nami said.
Both Usopp and Nami laugh at each other.
~Meanwhile~
Buggy was listening to everything these past few days and he smirked. "A Siren has joined their crew? Interesting… Hehehehehehe!" He cackles as a plan was forming in his head.
~Meanwhile~
Everyone was in the dining hall of the Going Merry for dinner and Sanji had prepared a whole meal for everyone. Lots of meat for everyone. He even prepared you a lot of meat.
You still had quite a lot to learn about table manners as you used your hands and had meat and sauce all over your face as you ate.
Zoro was drinking his 5th beer for the day and he smiled drunkenly at you, watching you eat like an animal.
Luffy took this as an excuse to eat like an animal too.
Nami was a bit grossed out as she watched you two eat like wild men but drinks her rum with her dinner.
Sanji was eating like a true gentleman and you watched him eat with a knife and fork. You tilt your head as you watch him. Sanji was obviously trying to set an example, hoping for you to catch on and you did. You picked up your knife and fork and tried to cut into the steak, still sauce all over your lips.
Sanji noticed you were having trouble. "Need help?" He asked. You felt your body heat up from embarrassment but nodded anyway. Sanji got up from his seat and taught you how to properly cut the steak. You watched as his masculine hands cut into your steak with ease.
"Wow. You have really nice hands…" you say out loud and Zoro's smile turns into a sneer. "They're not that nice…" he said.
"Jealous, much?" Sanji teased Zoro, who blushed, grumbled and downed his beer. You tilt your head at their rivalry.
"It's fine. Zoro and Sanji have this… banter kind of relationship." Luffy said.
"You said it," Usopp said and drank his rum that was in his glass.
Sanji smiled as he cut up all your meat. "There… oh! You have sauce on your lips." Sanji said and grabbed a napkin and wiped your mouth for you.
"Come on, Sanji… she's not a toddler." Zoro said.
"Shut up, Zoro. I know that." Sanji said, getting irritated.
"Watch it, Waiter!" Zoro said.
You noticed tension between the two men and did the only thing you knew how to do. You sang to them to get them to calm down.
They hear your song and they do, indeed, calm down.
Luffy smiled. "See! I'm so happy you joined our crew, Y/N! You know how to release the tension!" He said and patted your head. You smile and blush at his gesture and you kiss his cheek, right under his scar under his left eye. Luffy smiled. "Thank you." He said with a smile and a tiny blush.
Finally everyone ate dinner and a drunk Zoro went back to his room to pass out.
You stayed outside to watch the sunset with Luffy. He wasn't much of a drinker so he was sober enough to watch the sunset with you.
Luffy was all smiles when he stood next to you. "It really doesn't get much better than this. Standing here after a great meal, with you, watching the sunset. Feeling the salty breeze on your face, hearing the sounds of the ocean… it's almost too perfect." He said.
"Luffy, I've been thinking about something… about this treasure that you're trying to find… maybe no one found it yet because it's at the bottom of the ocean somewhere…" you said to him.
He looked at you and thought about it. "I guess that's not entirely impossible…" he started. "But I really hope that's not the case… because if it is… I'll never get to it." He said sadly.
"Why not? You can't swim?" You ask.
"Let's just say that I would definitely drown if I got into that sea." He said and rubbed his arms.
You frown. "I wish I had my tail… I would search for the One Piece myself and give it to you." You said to him.
Luffy smiled. "I appreciate that… but I'd rather be the one to find it." He said. You only nodded and did not push.
The sun had finally set under the sea's horizon at this time and you looked out into the sea. "Well, in any case. I really hope you find it, Luffy." You said to him and he smiled at you. "I will find it. And become King of the Pirates." He said. "And all of my crew will flourish in the riches beside me." He said as he turned to face you.
"All this fame and wealth… it sounds nice." You said as you turned to face him as well.
Luffy smiled at you as he stared into your eyes. "Your eyes… they're as black as midnight… they're beautiful." He said.
Soon, you two lean in and share a kiss as the skies turn from light bluish-purple to dark blue and the stars appear in the night sky. You two hold the kiss for a while and he tangles his fingers into your long hair.
But soon, you two slowly pull away and he caresses your soft cheek. You smiled at Luffy. You wondered if Luffy was going to be your mate in the future, but then tought about Zoro and Sanji and you slowly frowned, as you were really confused now.
Luffy notices your frown. "Is something wrong, Y/N?" He asked.
"I just… I'm confused…" you confess. "About what?" He asked.
"Well… It's hard to explain…" you said, to which he nods in response. "It's about me, Sanji and Zoro, huh?" He asked.
"How did you…?"
"Because I think I'm confused too…" he said as he held your hands in his. "Zoro is my best friend but… recently I feel like we're getting closer than that… and I don't know about Sanji but… you seem to be the thread that holds us all together closer than ever." He tried his best to explain.
"Oh… so you feel it too?" You said in a form of a question
"Yeah… it's going to take some time to process… but I'm sure we'll figure it out as a group." He said to you with a reassuring smile.
You look into his dark eyes and saw his smile and you felt so much comfort. "I trust you, Luffy." You say to him and kiss his scarred cheek and pull away from him. "It's getting late. We should get some sleep." You said.
"Yeah. Let's do that…" he said and goes into his Captain's quarters while you went into your room.
Meanwhile, Buggy was hearing everything and all that he heard was growing more and more interesting. He was careful and calculating. And now he just needed an opportunity to strike. But that will also require patience.
