Prologue: Hereditary Parasite
Kushina Namikaze was panicking. Because when they told her of this... she didn't expect that it would ever happen to her.
After everything related of the Kyubi calmed down, her babies finally had their exams. And the ones of her baby boy, Naruto... came with something interesting.
His blood was black.
Minato was also worried, so she explained what might be happening.
"In the Uzumaki Clan, there is a... parasite that can be passed without no one knowing. And when it manifests, it turns their blood... black."
Minato nodded with a frown "Is it... dangerous?"
Kushina shook her head "I don't think so... it just enhances the body and..."
"And?"
"Can make the person develop... violent tendencies."
Minato nodded slowly as she bit her nails...
The twins, Naruto and Nami grew without any physical worries. Naruto, mentally at least...
"Naru-Chan! Want to go to the park?" Kushina grinned at her baby boy, that had her red hair and pale skin color. His eyes are black, thanks to the parasite.
Naruto with a neutral expression, shrugged "Sounds lame."
Kushina pouted "C'mon Naru-Chan, it will be fun. Your sister is hanging out with your dad, so mom wants to hang out with her cool Naru-Chan!"
Naruto yawned as he fell asleep on the couch. Kushina frowned and sighed. She doesn't know what to do.
"What if you teach him some basic techniques and forms?" Mikoto Uchiha suggested as they were talking.
Kushina didn't look sure. "I... don't think that would be a good idea."
Mikoto arched a brow "Because?"
"I... don't want him to become a shinobi. He hasn't shown interest in it either, so I don't want to push him on that."
Mikoto nodded "Well, you can give it a shot, right?"
The next day, as Naruto was watching tv on the couch, Kushina sat next to him "What are you doing, Naru-Chan?"
Naruto shrugged "Nothin' really."
Kushina nodded and took a deep breath "Say Naru-Chan, would you like to learn how to throw kunai and shuriken?"
Naruto, perked up at that "Really?" He asked, "Like ninja stuff?"
Kushina nodded, seeing that a smile was forming on his face "Yes, really."
Naruto smile turned into a grin "Awesome! Let's go mom!" he jumped out of the couch and dragged Kushina to the training part of their home.
Naruto was surprisingly... good. Amazing even. He hit all targets, and the weapons pierced the wood deep.
Really deep.
The parasite enhances the body, and that includes the muscles, so she expected him to be strong, but not like that.
After an hour of target practice, he wasn't even a little bit tired. The smile never leaving his face, and Kushina... she enjoyed every second of the day with her son.
The next day, Naruto was back to his usual routine. Sleeping on the couch at noon. Nami was with Minato learning from the Hokage, leaving Kushina and Naruto alone.
Kushina tapped Naruto on the nose making him shift "Hmm?"
"Naru-Chan~ Want to learn Kenjutsu?"
Naruto eyes shot open and jumped from the couch "You mean swords?! Let's go!"
That was the routine. Kushina teaches Naruto and Naruto becomes more active and they bond.
Over a few months, Naruto changed a bit. Instead of being all day bored and sleep, to be active only when training, to be active around Kushina.
He goes with her to shop, helps her cook, they hang out together all day, which made him meet Sasuke Uchiha.
Mikoto came over one day and brought with her younger son, Sasuke. Naruto was helping her mom make tea, not really caring why or who was coming. He just wanted to be with his mom because she is cool and fun and smart and cool.
And as soon the lady and the kid enter, and they sat at the table, mom and lady talked and... he got... a feeling.
He can't describe it, but he doesn't like when this lady talks with his mom. Annoy? Nami called him that one time. Annoying.
He is annoyed that this lady is talking to his mom.
"Hey." Naruto blinked at how the kid that came with the lady called him "Are you okay? You look angry?"
Naruto shrugged "Dunno really. I think I am annoyed." He turned to his mom "Mom what does annoyed mean?"
Kushina raised a brow "Why are you annoyed."
He turned to the lady and shrugged "Dunno."
Kushina frowned "Say, why don't you show Sasuke-Kun our training ground."
Sasuke perked up "Are you also in training?"
It was Naruto turn to perk up "I do! Let's go!"
As Naruto jumped out of his chair and rushed to the back, Sasuke following Mikoto smiled at Kushina "He seems better since you last described him."
Kushina nodded "And he is. Maybe we should check on them, Naruto-"
"Kushina, let them be kids and have some fun. They will be fine."
"Aren't I cool?" Naruto bragged after hitting all targets with kunai.
Sasuke was in awe before smirking "Well, check this out!"
Sasuke did some hand signs "Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu!"
Naruto's eyes shined seeing how Sasuke was breathing fire. Fire! That's so cool!
Sasuke frowned, but before he could say anything, Naruto went to him and grabbed him by the shoulders "That was awesome! You are cool Sasu-Chan!"
Sasuke blinked confused "Even if it was small?"
Naruto tilted his head with a confused look "Small?" Then he grinned again "You breathed fire! That's cooooool!"
Sasuke smiled "Thanks... your technique with the kunais was great too! Can you teach me? I want to impress my Oni-Chan!"
Naruto liked Sasuke. He liked the lady who turned out to be Sasuke's mom and Itachi that is Sasuke's brother.
But there is something he likes even more. He can't even begin to explain it...
But he loves to fight.
He discovered it when he and Sasuke were out, and some older kids bumped into them. They were arrogant and mean. Naruto decided rather quickly that he hates them. And once one pushed him, he punched him back.
And he fell unconscious.
Naruto slowly grinned as he turned to his fist, with a spot of blood on it. His heart was pounding on his chest out of excitement...
What a good feeling that is.
