Lightning and Jordyn both went to the restaurant/karaoke bar. Jordyn was excited to go on another date with him. She hopes that their relationship will go further — She and Lightning haven't even kissed yet. And they were dating for a week. He already asked her to be his girlfriend, so what are they waiting for?

Jordyn put the brakes on the rental yellow and black striped Camaro then killed the engine, she stepped out and opened the door for her boyfriend. Lightning wore a pair of jeans, a blue T-shirt, and a charcoal grey buttoned-up jacket, but he wore the jacket halfway because of his sling and a pair of red, white, and black Retro Chigao Jordan ones. He also wore his black snake bite piercings, Pikachu tail necklace.

The couple both went into the restaurant, Lightning saw the interior of the building, it was a futuristic place with a modern, sleek design. There are several tables and chairs scattered throughout the room, creating an inviting atmosphere. A bar is also present in the scene, featuring various bottles and glasses placed on it.

The room is illuminated by bright purple lights, adding to the futuristic feel of the establishment. There are multiple TV screens located around the room, showcasing different content, and possibly displaying entertainment or information for guests. The overall design and ambiance of the restaurant suggest a trendy, high-tech environment that appeals to people looking for a unique dining experience.

The Cup series driver looked around, he saw tables, chairs, a bar, and a stage for the customers to pick out songs to sing, Lightning and Jordyn both sat down and a waitress walked up.

"Hello, my name is Olivia, is this your first time here?"

"Yes." Lightning said.

"Alright, would you like to get something to drink?"

"Can I get water?"

"Me too, please," Jordyn said. Oliva smiles and she walks away from them. Lightning removed his jacket and hung it up on the back of his chair. Jordyn was looking at the menu, Lightning was too. Jordyn smiled as she looked at him. his dark red hair was on his face, and his eyes were two pools of blue, as blue as the ocean

Jordyn looked around and saw a stage with a microphone. Then, she got an idea she turned her head towards Lightning.

"Look over there, they have a karaoke stage, and it looks like you can pick out a song, or choose your own, how about after we eat we can do karaoke,"she suggested. Lightning smiled. He loved the idea and he doesn't have a problem with it. so, why not?

He and Jordyn both finished their food. Jordyn went up to the stage, people were looking in her direction. Lightning wanted to join her. People cheered as he stepped onto the stage. She picked a song from one of the Sonic games he played back in 2006.

Lightning smiled grabbed the other microphone and put it up to his mouth

"We lay like lovers in a warm embrace, Your kisses thrill me like no one before, Baby, I'm all yours. Living just for you."

Lightning smiled, looking in her direction as he kept singing.

"I can see the moonlight shining through the mist. The moonbeams playing over you and me. I see the light of love, Shining in your eyes!"

Jordyn held the microphone in her hand, listening to his voice. His voice was so beautiful. Who knew that he was such an incredible singer?

"Holding you in my arms. Loving you beneath the stars! I don't want the night to steal you away."

Lightning smiled as he let Jordyn take the lead, and then he joined her.

"Hold me close, I want you so. Don't you know that, baby? Your love has touched my very soul. Can you feel it, baby? Never let me go darling 'cause we're so in love. And we can dream on, Sweet dream!"

Lightning and Jordyn continued singing together. They both walked closer to each other.

Kiss her you idiot! The Cup Series driver thought as they locked eyes for a few minutes. But he couldn't…. Not yet.

"Your shadow captured in the silent night. I feel your breath-it whispers like a breeze. Oh baby, please be mine, Till the end of time!"

Jordyn knew that he was hinting at something, but. He can take his time if he wants to. She saw Lightning relax a little bit and they both sang again.

Lightning and Jordyn smiled and stood there for a few minutes, Lightning took the chance and they came close, Lightning kissed her passionately.

About freakin' time! Jordyn thought to herself. Lightning wrapped his right arm around her waist. Jordyn smiled, wrapping an arm around his shoulder.

Jordyn and Lightning were both in the car now, they were headed to someplace where they could see the city, Lightning looked out the windshield as she drove.

"Here we are," Jordyn said, he looked and he saw the city. Jordyn stopped the car on a street, they saw lots of lights. It was like Christmas but not Christmas. Lightning and Jordyn both stared at the sights.

"Wow… It's so pretty," he said. Jodyn smiled, she parked the car, and Lightning smiled. Jordyn held his hand and they both looked at each other and smiled. Jordyn put on Covet by Basment on her phone. Lighting blushed and listened to the words of the song.

Jordyn also smiled, as she moved her hand to hold his hand to the best as she could, Lightning looked at her and smiled.

Jordyn inched closer to Lightning and they locked lips with each other again as they continued listening to the song together.

Lightning wanted to hug her, she looked into his eyes, and smiled at her. Jordyn walked to the passenger seat and sat on his legs, she put her hands on his chest and smiled. Lightning smiles and kisses her.

Jordyn pulled away and placed her hand on his good shoulder. She hasn't said this since she and Michael started dating. "I love you…" Lightning smiled and looked up at her beautiful face. He took his hand and stroked some of her bright pink and black hair out of her face.

Jordyn sat on his legs and they both kissed passionately. Lightning was beginning to like this a lot.

But, he realized that they needed to get back to the track. Lightning stopped kissing her, and Jordyn put her head on his chest. Just then the song ended

"Jordyn?" he asked his girlfriend.

"Yes, Lightning?"

"Does this mean… Where dating?"

Jordyn chucked and sat up. Seeing the necklace that he gave her. "Well… When you gave me this and asked me to be your girlfriend. So, we've been dating for a while." she smiled. Lightning also smiled and kissed her again. "Alright, let's go back," he said, Jordyn went back to the driver's seat and drove back to the track.

Lightning and Jordyn both went back. Lightning opened the door to the RV and climbed up the stairs. They both saw Dale, Spark, and Shadow, the three of them were asleep on the couch Spark and Dale were lying on it. Shadow was near Dale as he was holding the kitten so he wouldn't fall. Lightning's heart melted when he saw this, he pulled out his phone and took a picture of them.

They didn't want to wake them. So they went to their room and went to bed.

The next day, Lightning had some Eminem on his Bluetooth speaker, he grabbed a pan with some cooking spray, went to the fridge with some eggs, and cracked three of them in a bowl, he added some turkey to it and mixed them up then he poured them into the pan, then the door opened.

"Hey, Lightnin'!" Mater greeted.

"Dude! Keep it down!" he said

"Oh, sorry. I just wanna tell you that the car is ready for tomorrow's race."

"Why couldn't you text me — don't tell me you dropped your phone in the toilet again." he had a; 'dude, seriously?' expression on his face.

"No, I couldn't find the charger for it."

"Bro…." he went to a wall that charged his iPad and handed it to him. "Try not to lose this one, this is the only charger I have," he said, Mater nodded and walked out of his RV. Lightning went back to cooking his eggs.

he heard the PlayStation turn on. He turned his head and saw Spark about to get on. Lightning put his eggs on a plate after he finished making them. He sat next to Spark, he loaded up NBA LIVE 23.

"Hey," he said, eating his eggs. Spark turned his head and saw his father with his plate.

"Do you need help?" he said, seeing that he was struggling with eating.

"Sure, lucky for you. Your hand works." Spark chuckled at that. "Yeah it does, dude." he picked up the fork and fed him.

Dale opened his eyes and saw what was happening. "Dude, what are you doing?" he asked Spark.

"Oh, he asked me to feed him so, I'm doing that while my game is sitting here, on the TV." Shadow woke up under Dale's hand. He felt him moving and he smiled.

"Hey, Shadow… you want breakfast?" Dale asked, sitting up, he picked up the kitten and set him down.

"Oh, his food is in the drawer." Lightning said.

"Which one? there's a million of them."

"The one to your right." he opened it and found some cans of cat food. Shadow meowed loudly as he saw the can. "Calm down, Shadow. you'll get your food," he said as he opened it up. he put it in a bowl and gave it to the kitten.

"He's so cute," Dale said, kneeling and petting his back. Shadow starts to purr. Lightning smiled as he got up and knelt and petted Shadow, the kitten jumped on him, Lightning smiled, Spark continued playing his game.

Hours pass, and Lightning wore a short-sleeved shirt, showing his unwrapped tattoo. It was a nice Saturday morning, they were going to practice in a few minutes for the race that was Tomorrow. He then walked toward the pit garages.

The Nintendo driver walked to his garage and he saw Jeff Gordon getting into a heated argument with Jackson Storm. "You can get banned from the sport if I tell them what you did to our cars!"

"Our cars?"

"Lightning, Rick, and I all own the #95."

"You own this car too?" Jackson asked in a sarcastic tone.

Jeff held everything in him to not punch this man in the face right now. "Yes… I do, Jackson. Please leave."

"Why are you racing and not McQueen?" Jeff was getting annoyed by Jackson's questions.

"Lightning got into an accident that caused him to be out for most of the season. You saw the footage of Joey's car malfunctioning." Jeff said. Jackson smirked.

"I know…" he smirked.

Jeff touched the bridge of his nose. "What is your problem with him?"

Jackson said something that sent him to the edge.

"He just needs to give up on racing in NASCAR."

Jeff knew that he was trying to mess with his head but, he didn't like him then when he got into the sport, and he didn't like him now, Jackson even started harassing Lightning and his drivers, especially.

"Why won't you wazz off!" Jeff yelled at the #2.0 driver.

Jackson smirked, then walked away from him. Jeff sighed and put his arms through the holes of Lightning's Nintendo suit and he zipped it, then he put the velcro on and got ready, Jeff saw Lightning walk up to him.

"Hey, man. What was that all about?" Lightning asked.

"I don''t know…. He's such a jerk."

"I know right? I remember back in 2017 when he beat me, then I got into that crash back in Charlotte."

Cause you refuse to get new tires for your car to not get a lap behind…. Jeff thought to himself.

"Good luck with practice." Lightning told him, putting his right hand on his shoulder. Jeff smiled at him. Luigi and Guido walked up and grabbed the car and pushed it out of the garage. Jeff smiled.

"Good luck, dude!" Lightning said. making a rock-on sign towards him. Jeff picked up his hand and put his pointer and pinky fingers up in the air, he had his two fingers and his thumb down, resembling a rock-on-hand gesture. Lightning nodded to his friend and smiled.

The Nintendo/Moving Out 2 car was at the 95 pit box, Jeff climbed into the car, the team got him strapped in, and he grabbed the wheel off the dash and stuck it in. Filmore got in front of the car, putting his hand up, Jeff flipped the switch to start it. Lightning walked from behind the wall, separating him and pit road, Luigi clipped the window net closed Jeff grabbed the stick and started driving out of the pits.

Let's see how well he can drive since I last raced with him.

Lightning watched him practice for an hour and he was killing it out on the track!

Jeff is still as good as ever.

Lightning was still watching him, Jeff went inside the track and he stayed there. Lightning saw that the car was getting close to the wall. But, he was a professional race car driver, they both are.

Lightning saw him come into pit road an hour later. He took the window net down and climbed out of the car, he removed the helmet, and the HANS device on his shoulders and put them on top of the car.

"Did I do good?" he asked. Mater put a thumbs up.

"You did good my dude. Tomorrow, you'll get to qualify." Lightning said, high-fiving him.

"I know, thanks for this."

"No…Thank you for filling in for me until my shoulder gets better, dude. Your awesome." Jeff smiled at that.
