Full Summary:
In 1959, Andromeda Black walks away from Ted Tonks without telling him she's pregnant with his child. The very next day, she marries the pureblood man her parents chose for her and raises her daughter, Nymphadora, without telling anyone her real identity.
Eleven years later, a chance meeting in Diagon Alley reveals Andromeda's greatest secret. It begins a painful process of unraveling everything she and Ted have kept in the past, while trying to hold onto who they've become in the present.
Meanwhile, Nymphadora begins her own journey at Hogwarts, unaware that anything is awry until her own world falls apart. It's a good thing she has her friends-and a certain Marauder-to help her re-discover who she was meant to be.
AU. Andromeda and Alphard Black are switched in the canon timeline. Andromeda is Walburga's younger sister and Alphard is the middle brother between Bellatrix and Narcissa. Endgame ships are VERY slow burn!
