Chapter Ten: Fallout

Disclaimer: Seeing Chapter One

Hey, everybody. How are you all doing? Doing good? Hope So. Welcome back to the epic tale that I am weaving, and I thank you all for your support.
Last time, the Trial of the Century. This time, the fallout of that trial on the Galaxy.
Have fun.

hapter Ten: Galactic Fallout

The events of the previous day were galaxy shattering. The Galaxy burned with the fires of war and now the Galaxy knew that the war was a game in the hands of two Sith Lords, but now it was a real war. Both the Republic and the Confederacy were reeling from the trial. Both sides were grateful for the ceasefire as they got things under control. Many Planets were considering their place in the universe now, with many of the Separatist Parliament wondering if it was worth being part of the Confederacy if they were just pawns to the Sith.

The Republic was faring worse, with the Chancellor exposed and removed, the body of Senators was being changed up with many secrets being revealed. Public Support for the war plummeted, many clones were questioning their place in the war. The Jedi Order also was under some more flak than usual, but also not. They were under flak for not seeing the enemy right in front of them, but also praised for saving the Republic. Also, there was a good amount of sympathy as Sidious' lies were exposed and the Jedi were merely unknowing pawns and scapegoats for the Chancellor's evil. Though, the damage was done. It would take a long while to restore the Order's reputation. As for the Council of Neutral Systems, Duchess Satine's announcement did not sit well with many of the members.

As the sun rose over the Capitol world of the Republic, Padme was working from the luxury of her penthouse of 500 Republica, waiting for both the Queen of Naboo and her parents to call, as well as Anakin to come home, cause she needed to talk to him about everything. She knew it would be a mistake, but curiosity got the better of her and she turned on the holonews. Fortunately, the news channels were talking about Chancellor Palpatine. She did catch one segment about her and Anakin, but almost thankfully, she was not totally being vilified, and one of the anchors was defending her for keeping it secret.

Her terminal beeped, signaling a priority call from Naboo. She steeled her nerves and answered it. It was Queen Neyutnee, Padme quietly blew out a breath she didn't know she was holding, as the hologram materialized. The Queen would be easier than her parents to deal with right now. "Your Majesty, to what do I owe the pleasure?" Though she already knew.

"Let us skip the pretense, Senator Amidala," the Queen began. Padme knew this was bad if the Queen called her Senator Amidala. "The events of the previous day are what I call about. While I do not blame you at all as there is no way any of us could have known that Chancellor Palpatine was so evil, it does reflect badly on Naboo." Palpatine had been a former Senator for Naboo, after all.

"I agree, milady, Palpatine had us all deceived," Padme said, with a sigh.

"I will warn you that, it also may taint history of you as Queen," Neeyutnee's voice softened with a bit of compassion for her predecessor.

"Because I called for the vote of no confidence?" Padme knew that was what The Queen was leaning toward.

"Yes," Neeyutnee answered. "In other news, I have ordered House Palpatine's property seized, with plans to either auction it, or to hand it over to the Refugee Relief Movement. We are also looking into the deaths of his family." The Queen had a suspicion that Palpatine was behind it. Unfortunately, she won't find much about it. Darth Plagueis had made sure of it. The family yacht and corpses were liquidated and records purged.

"If you find any Sith artifacts in his home, the Jedi Order would be interested in confiscating those," Padme told her.

"Agreed. Speaking of the Jedi Order, let me be the first to offer my congratulations on your marriage," The Queen smiled. "However, the scandal that the announcement has caused is concerning. I have a few ministers calling for your recall, because your reputation for honesty is compromised. Even though it is completely understandable why you married in secret."

Padme's back stiffened, this is what she was afraid of. "What do you think, my Queen?"

"I think that you should remain Senator of Naboo. You have not done us any wrong and I see no reason to remove you. However, I am not sure about my successor." Neyutnee's face shifted to a more concerned face.

"Milady?" Padme asked, concerned. Queen Neyutnee was only two years into her term as queen.

"I will be honest with you, Senator. I am planning on resigning soon," The news was a shock to Padme. Neyutnee still had a few years left in her term. "I am tired of ruling, this terrible war is taking a toll on me and I wish to retire," Neyutnee said.

"Who will succeed you? Most likely, anyway?" Padme asked. While Naboo would need an election, Padme knew how things were as she once went through it.
"Most likely, Princess of Naboo Apailana" Neeyutnee answered.

"She would be a young queen," Padme remarked.

"Younger than you, but perhaps it is for the best, as is our tradition. I just hope she doesn't listen to the ministers and recalls you. Before I go, I will reaffirm my predecessor's decision to make your droid Naboo's ambassador to the Jedi Order. We will speak again soon, Senator. Give Representative Binks my regards." The hologram of the Queen disappeared.

Padme took a breath of relief. One problem down, one to go. Fortunately, or unfortunately, the other problem called the next moment. Answering it, Padme bit her lip as the holo of her parents, Ruwee and Jobal Naberrie materialized. "Mom, Dad. It's good to see you." She said with a smile.

"You too Padme. So, where is our son-in-law?" Ruwee asked, cutting right to the point. Of course they had been watching the holonews of the trial.

"He is at the Temple right now, he has some work to do. Also, he is kind of in trouble with the Council for a few things." Padme's mind turned to events of Tatooine. When it did, something crossed her mind that she should discuss with Anakin, regarding his family.

"Is it because he married you against the Order's rules?" Jobal asked, concerned.

"No, Master Kenobi has assured me that is not why he is in trouble, but it is not for me to say why. No doubt Dad will ask him when we come by." Padme tried to brush it off, for now.

"Good, I had a feeling he was good for you. I could see how much he cared for you when you both were here," Ruwee smiled in support.

"When were you going to tell us?" Jobal asked.

"To be honest, probably when the war was over. Anakin and I had talked a bit in the past about what would happen when the war was over. Anakin had thought about leaving the Order, despite his desire to be one when he was young and all his friends in the Order, and I would step down as Senator. We would find work on Naboo. Anakin is a good pilot and mechanic, so easy enough for him to find work and I probably would either go back to the Refugee Relief Movement or be able to become a politician on the planet," Padme thought about whether that was still an option for them.

"Your sister is smug about the fact that you married Anakin after he was here as your bodyguard," Ruwee said, giving Padme the heads up..

"I bet Sola is," Padme rolled her eyes. Recalling that Sola called Anakin her 'first boyfriend that she ever brought home.'

"So, I know that Jedi are supposed to cut off ties to their past when they join the Order, but do we have any in-laws to meet?" Ruwee asked, hoping that there was, as Padme had told them about Anakin's past before the Order..

"Yes, well sort of. Anakin has a Step-brother, Owen Lars, and his girlfriend, Beru, girlfriend last I knew. They live on Tatooine as moisture farmers. His mother died a few years ago at the hands of the Tusken Raiders. Anakin recovered her body and brought it back for burial when we visited before the war. Anakin was having nightmares, or more like Force Visions of her death and we went to go see her." Padme wisely didn't mention the massacre.

"That is awful," Jobal said.

"Yeah, the Tusken Raiders are a culture of scattered tribes of sand wanderers that attack homesteads and settlements, kidnapping, torture and murder in a twisted way of trying to survive." Padme informed them of what little she knew of the Sand People. "It is also unfortunate that they still practice slavery out there, if you remember my efforts after the Battle of Naboo to free some of them. I never found Shmi Skywalker, though it turns out she had been sold to Owen's father who loved her and freed and married her as soon as he could so there is that." Padme shook her head at the thought that such a barbaric practice still exists in the galaxy. Anakin had also told her about the resurgent Zygerrian Slave Empire, and how the Order damaged it, if not destroyed it.

"That is unfortunate, Padme. Do you think they would be willing to relocate?" Ruwee asked with compassion in his eyes.

"I don't know. Owen seems to like working out there, and Beru is a third generation moisture farmer," Padme found out while she was there when Anakin went after the Tuskens.

"I may be able to send them some equipment to make things easier, but we should meet them soon," Ruwee said.

"I agree, father. Let me talk with Anakin and when we can, we will visit you and if possible we will all go visit Owen and Beru. See you both soon." Padme sadly smiled at her parents, knowing that it may be a bit for that. Both of them would need some time away from their duties. With her parents gone, she stood and looked out the window at the Jedi Temple, thinking about Anakin. The Jedi were to be executing Palpatine today. She should probably be there as well, but perhaps it was better that she was not there.

Jedi Temple

The Sith captives were led into the outside courtyard in the middle of the Temple and pushed up against a barren wall. Jedi Masters, Knights and even some Padawans were all about the area. A firing squad of ten Clones, composed of men from the 212th Attack Battalion and 501st Legion, specifically Torrent Company, were brought in with their standard issue DC-15A Blaster Rifles, ready to do their duty. After Rex and Cody figured out what Palpatine had been planning with Order 66, they went and made sure their men would not listen to Sidious ever again.

"Do the condemned have any last words?" Master Windu asked.

Sidious locked eyes on Anakin. "You could have become more powerful than either me or Master Yoda, as Darth Vader." He had Anakin's Sith name picked out already, now it will never be used.

"I would never have become your monster," Anakin said, his voice firm. Yet, he did not know why the visage of a terrible black mask formed in his mind, then faded away. A whisper from the Force of a dark future avoided, perhaps.

"I demand death by combat," Maul said. Cody looked at the Jedi Masters.

Master Windu nodded, as it was in keeping with the Jedi way to kill an unarmed man opponent. "Do you want the half of your original blade or your brother's blade?"

"My brother's blade," Maul said, with no hesitation, as if he was going down, he was using a weapon style he was good with.

"Your opponent?" Windu asked, as if knowing what was going to happen.

"Kenobi, finish what you began at the Battle of Naboo," Maul called him out. Savage's blade had been brought out, and the binders on Maul were unlocked with the Force and the lightsaber was tossed to him. Jedi Temple Guards had activated their double-ended saber pikes to defend other Jedi, in the event Maul tried to either escape or kill someone else.

Obi-Wan reluctantly drew his lightsaber and took up his usual starting stance to signify his Form III, Soresu mastery. Maul raised his brother's double-blader in preparation for battle. Kenobi heard a voice from the Force, Change stance, take Qui-Gon's stance. Not sure why he felt the Force whisper that to him, but Kenobi lowered his arms to Qui-Gon's preferred stance for Form IV, Ataru. Maul took the bait, his stance shifted. He knew what to do to kill Kenobi. Maul made the first move, leaping across the way, with a spin of his body and twirl of his saber, he went high and Kenobi blocked, Maul went low and Kenobi twirled his Saber to block it. Maul went for the coup de grais, like he did to Qui-Gon Jinn and raised the saber to belt Kenobi in the head to open him up for a kill. Obi-Wan, having seen that move once before, was ready. He brought his saber down and cut through both lightsaber hilt and flesh. Due to the nature of having two hearts and fueled on the Dark Side, it took may a moment to realize what happened. Kenobi had hit one of his hearts on that strike. His arms went loose and both ends of the saber deactivated as they fell from his grasp. Kenobi caught Maul as he fell limp.

"Finally finished it, Kenobi. Your revenge for your Master?" Maul asked. His breaths growing short.

"I did my duty," Kenobi said. He would not be moved to seek revenge.

"Now, avenge us all," Maul gasped his breath and died in Kenobi's arms. Obi-Wan did the respectful thing and closed the Sith Lord's eyes. One Sith Lord down, one to go.

Commander Cody gave the orders to the clones. "Present Arms." Every clone grabbed their rifle and placed it in both hands.
"Load," Cody ordered. One could hear the clones hit the buttstocks of their rifles back into place as they loaded the tibanna gas canisters into the rifles.
"Ready, Aim," Cody held his arm up like he usually did when commanding a firing line of clones. The troops leveled their weapons at the Dark Lord.
"Fire!" Several rounds of blaster bolts lanced out from the team's rifles, these clones were not taking chances that Sidious could survive this.

"Cease fire," Cody ordered and the firing stopped. Sidiou's body dropped to the ground, dead. The Jedi breathed a sigh of relief as the weight of a dark shadow over them had been lifted and it felt like the Force rejoiced for the death of the former Chancellor.

"It is done then, now we must end this terrible war," Mace said, then directed all the Jedi back to their duties, as the clones took care of the bodies. Which were to be given a Jedi funeral of cremation, in the temple.

Only select Jedi were able to attend the cremation of the bodies of the three Sith Lords. Yoda gave them a modified Jedi last rite, a part of him was humored that Sidious would have hated that. Perhaps it was Yoda playing one last practical joke on Sidious, perhaps not. When he was done, the bodies were lowered and the Temple's cremation protocols incinerated the bodies.

When it was done and over, as the Jedi were filling out, Windu had words for Skywalker. "Two days from now, Skywalker. You will stand before the Council," Mace told Anakin, who nodded, knowing that he had to own up to what he did.

Obi-Wan patted his shoulder in support, "go see Padme, she needs you right now, more than we do right now."

"Thank you, Obi-Wan." Obi-Wan didn't even bother to correct Anakin, as they were brothers. "One of these days, you and Ahsoka should come over to the apartment for dinner." Obi-Wan half smiled at his former padawan and agreed. Anakin then left the temple and went and spent the rest of the day with his wife.

Raxus

In the aftermath of the trial, Dooku knew he had some work to do to keep the Confederacy together, both the Separatist Parliament and more importantly, The Separatist Council. He already had scheduled the meeting with the Council for later in the week, as he would rather have that meeting back on Serreno, and he had to mentally prepare to deal with the likes of Viceroy Gunray. Right now, he needed to deal with the Senators of his movement. He knew he would have to turn up the charm.

The full Separatist Parliament had been gathered, and in a rare occurrence, Dooku made a public appearance on the Head of State podium. Him being there personally meant a lot to many of the true believers in the cause. He raised a hand to signify for silence. When they calmed down, he began his speech.

"My people, true believers in the cause of freedom." Dooku began his speech. "I know that things seem like they do not make sense anymore, but I assure you, we will prevail. Yesterday, the Galaxy watched as the corrupt Republic outed their own leader and it was revealed that the war was a game between two Sith Lords. Of Which I am one. I saw in a partnership with Darth Sidious a way to tear down the corrupt Republic that was and is failing the galaxy." Dooku knew he had to address that part of the trial today.

"And then what, Count? Replace it with a dictatorship?" A senator asked.

"What are we to you? Pawns?" Another cried out.

"And what really happened to Senator Bonteri?" Another asked.

Dooku turned up his charm, and added a little Force persuasion to his voice. A skill he was good at from his time as Jedi, brokering peace to keep conflict from breaking out. "Perhaps so, if it would have been a dictatorship, it would have been one that was built to take care of the people the Republic failed: You. The outer systems were neglected and exploited by the Republic. You had to turn to the Trade Federation and Corporate Alliance just to have your voice heard in the Republic Senate." Dooku knew he had struck a chord with many of the Senators there. Those that had come to him and told him that they hadn't wanted to be beholden to the galactic trade conglomerates in order to be heard and survive. He knew the female senator representing the Corporate Alliance was looking at him dirty, but he knew what he had to do. "You are my supporters, my people. The ones I am trying to ensure a better life for your worlds in this cruel galaxy." He could sense his words were having an effect on the gathered Senators. He could sense that they began to think that he still had their best interests at heart.

Addressing the other question, "Senator Mina Bonteri of Onderon gave her life in the pursuit of peace with the Republic. She was killed in a barbaric Republic attack on our people." He lied, he had made sure Mina died by his agents, but it was his word against the words of Republic Senator Lux Bonteri, who was seen as a traitor by the true believers of the cause. "In truth, we have been set free. To seek the freedom that I promised all of you when I delivered the Raxus address in this very hall." There was some applause from the gathered senators. "I declared the war would continue, as we have needs to be met. There is the economic and Resource needs that must be met so that we can build our free society. There is also the mater we have scattered member states across the galaxy that we should be able to connect together, to forge bonds of unity and community to make it possible to trade with them. There are also some minor reasons. The Jedi Order that I once served will not let me go freely now that they know I joined the Sith, the ancient enemies of their decadent order. They see the differences of religion as a reason to call for my head. There is also the matter of what the Jedi and the Republic did to the world of Kalee that the great General Grievous hails from that would justify him seeking war for revenge." The Senators that knew what Dooku was Supreme Commander of the Separatist Army had to admit that Dooku was right. Dooku continued for some time with his all was said and done, Dooku had managed to keep the Confederacy together, now he had to deal with the Council.

Mandalore

Duchess Satine Kryze sat on her throne, her armor gleaming silver, as she had yet to paint it. She was waiting for the right moment to paint it, for when she will lead Mandalore's reborn armies in war. She sat with a hologram council of representatives of the Council of Neutral Systems. Bo-Katan sat near her, and she was grateful to have her near. Satine knew this was going to be a rough meeting. Satine had made the announcement at the trial about rearming and siding with the Republic in the war. "Let us skip any pretense as to the nature of this meeting. I called you all here to discuss the matter on all of your minds. The fact that I announced my plans for a reborn warrior Mandalore that will side with the Republic in this war, when I have long professed peace and de-escalation of conflict. For a long time, I believed that even extremists could be reasoned with. I was wrong. The recent coup against me by Pre Vizsla and Death Watch," Satine began her speech, her eyes flicking over Bo for a sec as she mentioned the coup. Bo's back stiffened a bit, Satine was not going to let that go any time soon. "And my double near assassination in the span of 24 hours the other day, have put things in perspective." She paused a second, to see if anyone would comment on this or the fact that she wore her armor, cape with family crest draped over her shoulder.

When it was clear no one was going to say anything at the moment. Satine continued her speech. "I don't think we can stay neutral any longer, the false war is now a real war, there will be no trade with both sides any more. Dooku is let off the chain as it were. My advice is to get what you need from the Republic and then raise your own defense forces, in case the war comes to your planet," Satine advised. Many of the gathered Senators didn't know what to say. They thought they could sit the war out, but now that Palpatine had been exposed as controlling both sides, Count Dooku intends to make this war continue. Things will get darker for a lot of them. "If you wish to replace me as leader of the Council, so be it, but if you keep me, I can be a voice for your needs in the Senate, like I once did." Bo-Katan took her sister's hand, to give her some non-verbal encouragement.

"We'll be in touch, Duchess," one of the Senators said before their holo fizzled out. That was not encouraging, to her. Some of them supported her, some did not. Some denounced her for hypocrisy, and wanted to continue to try the path of neutrality, and left. Others said they would started building up. When all was said and done, Satine was alone again in her throne room, with only her sister for support.

"That did not go as horrible as I was expecting," Bo said.

"I was half-expecting you to have an outburst, to which I am glad, you didn't." Satine sighed in thought.

"Speaking of building up…" Bo began to say. Satine knew where her sister was going with this. "We need to begin our own, as well as the need to anoint a new Mandalore. You, sister."

"Yeah," Satine sighed. There was a lot of work for her to do, and not a lot of time to do it.

"The clans, the remaining clans, will have to recognize you, sister." Bo informed Satine of how the Mand'alors were chosen. She turned her head over to Ursa who was nearby. "Clan Wren?"

Ursa stepped forward, removing her helmet and kneeling to the Kyrze sisters, "Clan Wren will support Lady Satine Kryze as Mand'alor."

"Ursa is someone that only joined the Death Watch due to the True Mandalorians being wiped out, just like me." Bo explained to Satine, as she signaled Ursa to rise. "Clan Rau and the Protectors of Concord Dawn, may be a bit difficult, due to Fenn's dislike of Clan Vizsla. Clan Vizsla is basically gone with Pre dead and Paz who knows where."

"Fenn Rau is currently leading the Skull Squadron at the Battle of Mygeeto, I will let Obi-Wan know that Rau needs to return home." Satine made a note to send Obi-Wan a message.

"Clan Skirata is an unknown measure. Clan Ordo is all over the place in terms of allegiance." Bo continued going through the Clans. "Then there is the matter of Clan Fett being all but gone."

"I wish Jango was still alive, he should have the title," Satine lamented.

"How Father would speak of Jaster Mereel and Jango Fett, true heroes of Mandalore, he called them. Speaking of father, he would be proud of you lately," Bo tried to perk her sister up.

"Jango had a son, Boba. Sure, he is a clone, but an unaltered clone. He raised him as a son." It seemed good enough for Satine, Bo had some issues with that.

"Where is Boba?" Bo asked.

"Not sure, after being released from prison, he disappeared, rumor had it he had formed his own crew of Bounty Hunters." Satine remembered hearing about that debacle with Obi-Wan being undercover.

"There is one other Fett, if what I know is true, Arla Fett," Bo said, unsure if she had the right information. Arla Fett was a member of the Death Watch, but not one of Bo's Nite Owls. She was a good assassin, got arrested after a mission went sideways.

"Arla Fett is locked up in the Valorum Center on Coruscant, she's mentally unstable." Satine had kept tabs on a lot of the major Clans. "So, we need to track down Boba and request Arla to be transferred to a facility here on Mandalore?"

"Yep, well, if we can get Boba to come home, then we got the representative of the Clan. I have contacts I can reach out to to see if there is any notice of where he may be. In the meantime of gathering the clans, we should put out the call to the other dome cities to start building our forces."
Satine made the next move she had to, she put out a call on the holonet to the heads of the remaining clans to return home to decide on a new Mandalore.
"There is just one other thing, Korkie," Satine called to their nephew.

"Yes, Auntie Satine?" Korkie asked, his armor still needing to be reforged.

"Kneel before me, Korkie," Korkie did as his aunt asked him to do. Satine stood from her throne and placed a hand on her nephew's head Bo's brow raised, in question, knowing what Satine was about to do. "I, Duchess Satine Kryze of Clan and House Kryze, formally adopt you, Korkie Kryze of Clan Kryze as my own son. From this day, let it be known in song, this fact, that I will raise you to be a warrior." While it was officially for Korkie that she did this, it was more so for Satine to make it fully real, to live by the tenets of the Resol'nare. She removed her hand, and let Korkie rise.

"Aunt Satine, I appreciate it, but I am an adult as you know," Korkie was confused a bit.

"Age doesn't matter to us, nephew. Mandalorians of the warrior past would adopt adults into the clans as their own to give them a family to be a part of. It was treated as a highly honorable, nearly sacred practice in our culture, perhaps even more than taking children or foundlings as some call them into the clans." Bo informed her nephew.

"Then, I accept, mom," Korkie said. Satine and Korkie then hugged as mother and son.

Bo hugged both of them. They were all that was left of Clan Kryze. When the hug broke, "I think it would be wise to walk the hall of the Mand'alors," Bo suggested.

"Agreed, we'll do it later," Satine said. She also sent a message to Mandal Motors to start drawing up warships for the new Mandalorian Fleet.

Tatooine

Jabba's Palace

In the wake of the galaxy shaking events of the previous day, Crime Lord Jabba Desilijic Tuire, one of the two heads of the Hutt Ruling Council and Grand Council, was not happy. He had found out that the Kidnapping of his son, Rotta the Hutt was engineered not by one Sith Lord, but two. Each one controlling the factions that were waging war in the Galaxy. He was even more angry that this was all the ploy to get him to agree to let the Republic use the hyperlanes through Hutt Space to move their armies. He now summoned the other heads of the Five Families that ran Hutt Space to a holomeeting. They conversed in Huttese, though Jabba and Gardulla could speak Galactic Basic, but they only did it for those they deem either as an equal or over holo and there is no translation on the other end, like when both spoke Basic around Magister Hego Damask, many years ago.

In Huttese, Jabba spoke of his plan. "The Republic and Confederacy have betrayed us all. In the kidnapping of my son, Rotta, it seemed that it was only the Confederacy that was at fault, but now it is clear what was going on. From now on, neither side will have access to our hyperlanes. Any vessel of either side that is found in our territory is to be attacked and raided. What I am about to propose would go against the philosophy of kadijics, but it is time. Time to expand both our crime empires as well to restore the borders of the Hutt Empire. I suggest we start financing the creation of new Hutt Fleets. We could enslave more races to our service, and settle old debts. Count Dooku must answer to this council for what he has done to me."

"The Jedi and Republic as well must answer for hampering our profitable activities." It was Jabba's nephew, Gorga Desilijic Aarrpo, that spoke up. As he said it, a particular Hutt on Nar Shaddaa came to mind. Most of the representatives were interested in expanding their slave trade empires.

Marlo, the other head of the council, was interested in Jabba's plan. Marlo was the head of the Qunaalac Kajidic, the most militaristic of the Hutt Clans, and maintained a sizable military force. "Until the new fleets are ready, the Qunaalac Kajidic will provide the main warships of our new Hutt Empire." With that it was basically confirmed that the Hutts were going to war.

The Galaxy now held its breath, to see which side made the first move against who. The Republic and Confederacy still were at temporary ceasefire, Mandalore was arming to go to aid the Republic in the war, and the Hutts were putting their pirate forces together to become a military power again. The Republic needed a new Chancellor and the Jedi needed to decide the fate of one of their best agents.

Hey, that chapter kinda got a way from me. What took me so long was figuring out Dooku's speech, as well as Mandalore. Funny enough, some of that was taken from a future chapter and got reworked to this one. So, Korkie is now Satine's son. I see you fan theorists, and I tip my hat, or the edge of the cowl of my hooded cloak to you. The other part of that equation will come later.
Was I planning on the Hutts becoming a third faction? Not intially, but some later stuff demands it, and well, I now have a harder job to get through this war.
Anyway, Next time. The Trial of Anakin Skywalker, and hope it won't take me a while to get through it.
See you then, the Emperor is out. Peace.
