Loona sat beside Eclipse's bed on her phone looking at random photos of her and Eclipse. As she scrolled through she stopped on a selfie of her and her brother with the latter giving a large grin while she had a small smile of her own.
Sighing Loona put her phone away and turned to look at Eclispe's still form before getting up and leaving the room. As she made her way into the hallway she could see Blitzo heading in her direction before stopping in front of her.
"So has there been any changes yet?" Blitzo asked his adopted daughter. Loona shook her head in a negative manner before speaking.
"No, not yet and it's starting to worry me, he's been like this for five days now." Loona replied while she slowly began to hug herself. Blitzo seeing this wrapped an arm around the distressed hellhound.
"Hey now there's no need to be down, Eclipse has been through wrost stuff then this and he's always pulled through in the end, right?" Blitzo asked.
"Yeah, he always pulled through in the past but this is different then the times before, he went against Overlords then, this is something that was way out if his league." Loona replied.
Blitzo nodded his head in agreement before replying. "Your right Loona, it was out of his league this time but in the end he's still alive and that's what matters the most but I'm sure he'll wake up soon just give him some time."
Loona could only nod her head at this knowing that Blitzo was right about Eclipse. He had been through many life and death scenarios and this one was no different than the rest, he'd pull through just like before.
"Good, now let's go we have a meeting to get to which was the whole reason for me coming this way in the first place Millie and Moxxie are waiting for us and I don't think it's best to keep 'em waiting." Blitzo said as he removed his arm from the hellhound and made his way to the Meeting room with Loona behind him.
*Timeskip 20 minutes later*
Loona sighed while rubbing her temples as she couldn't stand the growing headache that was quickly forming from the annoying kid that had suddenly woke up.
The meeting was going as usual with Blitzo finding ways to drum up more clients while off-handedly teasing Moxxie.
Then Millie would throw ideas that most people wouldn't care about like carwashes. After that Blitzo and Moxxie would go back and forth throwing insults between each with Millie chiming in every now and again.
It was at this point the previously mentioned kid who was the wrong target got up from a hospital bed and started to insult all of them viciously.
When he was done insulting them Loona's phone gave a small chime alerting her to a new notification. Taking out her phone she quietly read the notification.
"Oh fuck! Guys, I just got a text from our client! I guess he was the right target after all." Loona spoked getting two shocked replies from the kid and Blitzo.
"Wait, so you're saying that they wanted us to kill an actual CHILD?" Blitzo asked to make sure that he was hearing this right.
"That's what they're sayin." Loona replied whilie still looking at her phone before putting it away.
Blitzo said nothing for a couple seconds before speaking. "Well Christ on a stick, I Guess there is a God." Blitzo reached into his coat and pulled out his signature flintlock pistol and aimed at the kid before pulling the trigger.
-2 hours later-
After spending two full hours chopping up the kid's body and dropping it off back in the human world the I.M.P crew made their way back to the office. Loona immediately made her way towards the infirmary as soon they arrived while the others went to do their own thing.
Quickly reaching the infirmary Loona opened the door and froze as she saw that the only inhabitant of the room was shadowboxing dressed in only a pair of grey briefs and bandages wrapped around his chest. Loona watched on as her brother threw a few more punches before letting loose a huge uppercut before making his way towards the bed and sitting down. Turning his gaze towards the door Eclipse finally realized that his sister was in the doorway looking at him with wide eyes.
"Oh, sup Loona I didn't know you were there." Eclipse said before going wide eyed as Loona literally jumped across the infirmary tackling the two the ground. Upon hitting the floor Eclipse let out a small hiss of pain. Eclipse was about to gently push Loona off fo him but stopped when he saw her shedding tears while hugging his waist.
Eclipse gave a gentle small before returning the hug. "Hey, hey calm down Loons, I'm alright so theres nothing to worry about, ok?" Eclipse whispered in a soft tone trying to calm down his sister.
Eclipse saw that his words had some affect on Loona as her tear gradually started to slow before stopping completely. Seeing that Loona stopped crying Eclipse slowly stood up making sure that he didn't drop her. After getting to his feet Eclipse went over to the infirmary bed and placed Loona down before sitting down in the chair beside her.
Taking a closer look Eclipse saw that Loona cried herself to sleep and let out a small sigh. He couldn't help but to think about the dream he had before he woke up.
- Flashback/Dream-
A 9 year-old Eclipse was standing in front of two hellhounds in a large office like room. The one on left had pure white fur and had eyes that was a bright blue that you couldn't find anywhere in hell. She dressed in a black halter top that had silver trims around the neck and black jeans that was held up by a silver belt and silver toeless other hellhound fur was pitch black except for a white patch of fur on his chest. He was dressed in a pale white hooded vest and black fingerless opera gloves. He had on a pair of jeans of the same color with a golden apple with a snake coilled around it embroided on his right thigh.
"Eclipse, could you show your father exactly what you showed me while ago?" The white hellhound asked Eclipse who nodded before closing his eyes. Eclipse's father watched on with wide eyes as a purple aura manifested around his son. A smile began to grow on his face before it slowly faded into a frown.
"Lorilei dear, you do know what this means right?" He asked his beloved wife who was matching his expression. Lorilei nodded her head before calling out to their son.
"Eclipse, you can stop now, your father has seen enough." Lorilei told her son who then proceeded to open his eyes causing the purple aura to dissapate. Eclipse's father kenlt in front of Eclipse and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Look son, you don't know it yet but you have an amazing power that a lot of people will kill to control so I need you to make two promises to me and your mother, never let anyone find out that you have these abilities until you can control them and make sure that you protect your sister, okay?"
"I promise father." Eclipse replied causing his father to smile at him before he got back up and walked towards Lorilei.
" I'll go inform those two about this recent development and ask that they'll keep an eye on him and his sister incase we're no longer around." As Eclipse's father began to exit the room he never heard Lorilei whisper.
" I pray that it never comes to that Deimos."
-Flashback/Dream End-
Shaking his head Eclipse began looking around and saw his sister's cellphone on the floor and picked it up. Pressing the power button Eclipse saw that it needed a password. Eclipse typed in the password and began to look up on anything that happened while he was out.
30 minutes later
Eclipse could only look at the screen of his sister's cellphone in annoyance as read the most recent '666 News' article which was about 1 day old.
Yearly Extermination Follies
This year's extermination was one of bloodiest to date with a death rate reaching over 7,000.But the biggest atestment to this is the inevitable death of Hell's upstart overlord Eclipse.Our technicians here at '666 News' were able to recover footage of Eclipse's final moments.
At the bottom of the article was a video of his fight with the Exterminator that showed the full fight upto the point he got stabbed in the back. Eclipse let out low growl before reading the rest of the article.
With the death of that upstart overload that means that his territories are up for grabs. And those are Imp City and a large chunk of the West pentagram, this has been '666 News bringing you all the lateset news.
After finishing the article Eclipse sat Loona's phone down befroe getting up and leaving the infirmary. Entering the hall Eclipse quickly made his way towards the breakroom and made a beeline towards the supply room. Entering the supply room Eclipse opened a chest that was settled on floor in the far right coner and reached in and pulled out a pair of black jeans, a grey sleeveless shirt and a bulletproof vest with a purple eclipse design on the back.
After getting dressed Eclipse exited the supply room and left the breakroom and headed towards the lobby and exited the office and leaving the building and made a mad dash towards the West pentagram.
West Pentagram, Pride City - 1 hour later
Reaching Pride City's west side, Eclipse was quick to notice the large blimp up in the air and didn't waste anytime searching for a way up.
"Ugh, I just had to rush over here, can't believe I left my chain behind." Eclipse said as he was about to give up his search until he remember his unique trick that he kept hidden for a long time.
Looking around to make sure that no one was around Eclipse closed his eyes and concentrated for a few seconds before opening them. Looking at his hands Eclipse saw that they and the rest of his body was surrounded in a purple aura and was hovering a few inches off the ground.
"The less people who knows about my abilities the better." Eclipse said before he started to float towards the airship. Reaching the carrier's rear hull Eclipse quickly beagan to search for a way inside before coming across an almost hidden lever and flipped it. Hearing a small hiss beside him, Eclipse looked over and saw a section of the back carrier slide open.
". . . . . . Why the fuck would anyone install a switch to an escape door outside?" Ecilpse asked himself wondering who could be so stupid as to- ". . . . . . . Sir Pentious."Shaking his head Eclipse flew into the doorway and land quietly making sure to close the door behind him.
Once inside Eclipse aloud the purple aura to fade and started to make his way through the many hallways that ran throughout the airship. After many twists and turns Eclipse finally came to what could only be described as the main control room and saw the many eggbois running around. Seeing a group of eggbois coming his way Eclipse hid behind a operation console to avoid being seen.
"Well this just got more entertaining now hasn't it?" Eclipse muttered to himself. Taking a quick look around to make sure that the coast was clear, Eclipse started to make his way deeper into the main control room making sure to avoid getting spotted.
After a few minutes Eclipse was hidden behind a console a few feet away from Sir Pentious main console and quietly listened in to what was being said.
"Those other cowardly sinners dare not hinder my territorial takeover! A wise decision! The power of my machines are unmatched!" Sir Pentious boasted to his eggbois minoins before he continued his boasting
"No other demon can compare to the likes of them especially now since that bothersome hellhound has met his demise and now grant me the chance to control the entire west side of the Pentagram." Sir Pentious declared while pressing a button that sent a barrage of laser fire destorying a few buildings in the area. The eggbois seeing this started to cheer.
"You really showed THEM what for! I liked it when you shot them with your ray gun!"
"I wish he'd shoot ME with his ray gun!"
"NOW will you shoot me with your ray gun?"
Sir pentious rolled his eyes before turning back to the his main console. "At this rate I'll seize control of the entire west pentagram by day's end and nothing, not a single beast in this infernal suffering will be able to take back this empire from my constrictive grasp."
Eclipse slowly made his way from behind his hiding spot making sure to not be seen while slowly readying his claws to kill the snake while Sir Pentious continued to monolauge.
"Hell will be mine and everybody will know the name of Sir Pent-" Sir Pentious was cut off by with the scream of 'Edgelord!' causing Eclispe to freeze in place.
Sir Pentious hissed in annoyance before to turning his eggbois to find out who said that.
"Pardon, who said that?" Getting in the face of one of his minions Sir Pentious hissed. "What did you just say to me you fried chicken fetuses, speak up." The eggbois were frozen with but still replied.
"That wasn't us mister bossman." Sir Pentious was about to say something else but paused as he heard the window of his airship break before a ball-like object rolled in front of and the eggbois and stopped. It was at this point that Eclipse, who had forgone his hiding spot, saw what it was and said one word that Sir Pentious and the eggbois heard that summed up what they were thinking.
"Fuck."
As soon as he said that the ball-like object exploded into a giant cloud of red revealing that it was a smoke bomb causing Eclipse and Sir Pentious to cough uncontrollabe. After a few seconds the red smoke dissipated before a voice called out.
"Looking for a fight old man?" Eclipse and Sir Pentious followed the sound of the saw a figure walked out of what was left of the smoke to reveal a girl.
Eclipse saw that she was a cyclops and could tell that she was another sinner from her apperance. She had long pink hair with blonde accents that she was wearing in a large ponytail and had a large amount of mascara. Her eye has a bloodshot pink sclera and a pale yellow 'X' shaped pupil.
She wore a black, fingerless satin glove on her left arm and was dressed in a red, tattered miniskirt with two buttons on the front with one loose suspender that showed a black bra strap, and tattered, black leggings. Lastly, she wore a red boot on her left foot with an Australian-style star on the top, while on the right, a white and red sock.
"Why don't you do yourself a favor and get this tinker toy bullshit out of E's territory before I smash it more." The one eyed sinner said while tossing another bomb back and forth between her hands.
Eclipse hearing her say this quickly realized who this was, seeing that only person would ever call him 'E'.
"Cherribomb that you?" Eclipse called out getting Cherribomb's attention. Cherribomb hearing him turned towards the sound of Eclipse's voice and let out a loud gasp when she saw Eclipse standing a few feet behind Sir Pentious.
Sir Pentious turned around and let out a loud hiss when he saw Eclipse. "You damed hellhound, you're supposed to be dead, how did you even board my airship, how are you even ALIVE, your death was broadcasted all over pride."
"I'll answer your questions in order, first of all, fuck you that's how and secondly, you said my death was broadcasted all over pride but let me ask you something Pentious, did you or anyone else who that saw '666 News' bullshit see drop me drop dead?" Eclipse asked.
As soon as the question was asked Sir Pentious narrowed his eyes as he replayed the footage of Eclipse's supposed death in his head and realized that not once in that video, did the hellhound fall after being stabbed. Sir Pentious let out a loud hiss of annoyance before turning to Eclipse.
"I can't believe that I actually felled for that considering that we fought many battles, I should've known better then to believe that a simple stab in the back would be able to do you in." Sir pentious said before quickly slithering back towards his control console.
"Well if you two want a fight I'll be more than happy to oblige and this time Eclipse I'll make sure you turely die in this battle." Sir Pentious said before summoning his eggboi minions with each one brandishing a weapon.
Eclipse scoffed at the sight and leaped across the room to stand beside Cherribomb. "Aw Pentious, I can't believed that you thought I was dead, I'm hurt."
Eclipse mocked before nodding to Cherribomb who proceeded to set off another bomb causing the airship to plummet to the ground causing a huge explosion upon imapact.
Sir Pentious emerged from the wreckage of his airship with his eggbois and grinned at the large amount of rubble the explosion created when he didn't see Eclipse or Cherribomb. He lost his grin however when he saw a pile of rubble began to shift before it was pushed over revealing Eclipse and Cherribomb somewhat unscathed.
"You two are really starting to become a real pain in my ass but I assure you that won't be a problem for long, eggbois attack!" The eggbois hearing their orders rushed the two overlords. Cherribomb only response was to pull out two explosives and rushed the on-coming wave of minions.
Eclipse smiled and shook his head at the spunky powerhouse's carefree attitude before joining her while yelling out. "Let's get this party started!"

Orderly: Another chapter of 'A Hellhound's New Sin' done but this is just the beginning. I hope you all enjoy the new chapter and also just for shits and giggles I kinda left a hint to way Eclipse and by extension Loona, are special compared to your everday hellhound. I really want to know if anyone can figure out what it is before the next update but to make it fair I'll give you one more hint.
