I've been wanting to write my own version of No Way Home, but multifandom stories with several fandoms involved are quite tricky to write and I've been planning this for a while now. Takes some inspiration from Stand with Ward and Queen's 'Alliance of worlds', Aragorn II Elessar's 'The Apocalypse is here' and The Batman II's 'Multiverse: Year One'.
Hope you will enjoy.
Disclaimer: I do not own Marvel Cinematic Universe or any of the fandoms included here.
Sanctum Sanctorum, New York
Peter Parker was surrounded in some purple vortex, pieces of rubble flying around him, when he heard someone calling his name.
"Peter? Peter!"
Suddenly, a hand touched his shoulder and Peter gasped, coming to himself as smoke surrounded him before it dissipated and as he got a clear look, Peter looked around to see he was back in the undercroft of Sanctum Sanctorum as Stephen Strange knelt down towards him worriedly.
"Are you alright, kid?" Strange asked.
"I…" Peter coughed out, looking around as he got up. "I think so. Did it work?"
"No. You changed my spell six times. You don't do that! I told you! And that is why!" Strange snapped. "The spell was completely out of control. I tried to shut it down, but I fear something catastrophic might have already happened."
"What do you mean?" Peter asked.
Strange gestured and next thing Peter knew, they were back in the entrance hall and noticing the purple lighting coming in through the window, Peter looked outside and was shocked to see the sky turning purple.
"Strange!"
They turned and saw Wong rushing in as he looked down at Peter and Strange from the upper floor, horrified.
"What have you done?" Wong demanded.
Waverider
In the cockpit of the Waverider, a woman with dirty blonde hair was finished doing the necessary repairs, with the ship floating in the timestream.
"All systems function normal, Captain Lance. Waverider is fully operational." A female voice called out in the room.
"Alright, Gideon, set the coordinates. It's time to pick up the rest of the team and go home." Sara Lance said, about to fly the Waverider through the timestream.
But as the timeship flew through, suddenly, everything around her turned purple, with tremors shaking the Waverider, while the consoles were blaring.
"System failure! System failure!"
Suddenly, she saw a city outside, while Waverider was spinning around and falling to the ground before the consoles began turning normal, one by one.
"Gideon! Can you navigate the ship?" Sara called.
"Affirmative." Gideon said.
"Prepare for an emergency landing! Find a safe place and camouflage the ship!" Sara ordered.
"As you wish." Gideon said.
The Waverider managed to regain control as it began safely descending down before landing on a rooftop.
"Gideon, where am I?" Sara asked.
"If the coordinates are correct, we are currently in New York City, December 2024." Gideon said.
"Do you know why the sky's purple?" Sara asked as she looked outside the cockpit window.
"I cannot determine the definitive cause, but my readings show a lot of interdimensional energy across the city. It is likely the barriers between realities have been broken."
"Looks like Star City is gonna have to wait." Sara muttered.
Elsewhere
Sam Winchester was driving the black Chevrolet Impala 1967 down the road, when suddenly, a purple crack literally in the air appeared in front of him.
"What the…" Sam trailed off.
The crack sucked him and the Impala in and suddenly, Sam found himself in a vortex, everything around him spinning around, when suddenly, everything turned normal as he was driving down the road again, but he wasn't on some random interstate highway anymore. In the distance, he recognized Empire State Building as he hit the brakes.
"How…" Sam wondered with wide eyes. He was briefly wondering what had happened, when he heard tapping and turned to see a red-haired woman knocking on the window. Sam rolled down the window as the woman smiled at him.
"Hi." The woman said, puzzling Sam. "I'm guessing you also just showed up here out of nowhere thanks to some purple light thingy, did you?" She asked, as Sam looked at her in utter confusion. "Sorry, it's that I just saw your car drive in here in the flash of the purple light that looked like some kind of a crack before it vanished. Same thing just happened to me."
Overcoming his shock after a moment, Sam nodded. "Yeah. Any idea what the hell's going on?"
"Well, I was trying to figure that out, when you showed up. And something tells me we can help each other. I mean, you look like a nice guy and you're not completely freaking out, so I'm guessing you've already seen your share of weird…" The woman said.
"…but this is a whole new level." Sam finished and the woman nodded, while he looked at her cautiously.
"Maybe I can help figure this out and you seem like a smart guy. I'm a witch." The woman said and Sam recoiled back, but quickly got ahold of himself as she realized he wasn't comfortable with witches. "Easy, I'm not gonna turn you into a toad or something." She assured, raising her hands.
"Sorry, it's just… let's just say my experiences with witches aren't exactly pleasant." Sam said and the woman nodded in understanding.
"Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you." The woman assured and after a moment, Sam nodded.
This might just be a different reality, which also could mean that the witches were not inherently evil here. As Sam looked into her eyes, he saw she was being kind and clearly just wanted to help. His experience with witches didn't have the best track record, but he also knew a good person, when he met one. After a moment, Sam unlocked the door and let her in. "I guess I could use all the help I can get."
"Thanks." The woman said as she sat next to him and closed the door before she offered her hand. "Willow. Willow Rosenberg."
"Sam Winchester." Sam said as he shook her hand. "So, Willow Rosenberg, since clearly some powerful magic has brought us both into an alternate world, do you have any spell that might help us figure out what did it or how to get us home?"
"I'll try." Willow said as she looked at him. "Do you have a map of New York City?"
Sam opened the glove compartment and began scrambling through some rock music CDs and some uneaten chips. "Sorry, I haven't had time to clean it up."
"Guess you've got that punk kid kind of lifestyle, do you?" Willow noted.
"It's my brother's car. He left it to me after he…" Sam trailed off and as Willow saw the pained look in his eyes, she immediately understood.
"I'm sorry." Willow said gently.
"Don't worry about it." Sam assured as he picked a stack of folded maps. "New York City." He began looking into the maps until he found the one he had been looking for and unfolded it.
"If something brought us into New York, into the same place…" Willow began.
"…you might be able to pinpoint the source." Sam deduced and Willow nodded as she muttered a spell, holding a hand above the map.
A few moments later, a drop of blood fell onto the map.
"177A Bleecker Street. I'm not sure what we'll find there, but if we want answers, that's a good place to start." Willow read. Sam nodded as he revved the engine, while she noticed the apprehensive look in his eyes. "You don't trust me, do you?"
Sam sighed. "Honestly, I don't know yet. But I guess I'm gonna have to take all the help I can get right now."
"Fair enough." Willow said.
Sam hit the gas as the Impala drove down the road.
"It's not the first time you've ended up in a different world, is it?" Willow asked and Sam nodded. "Who are you?"
Sam sighed. "It's a long story."
"If this is as ugly as I think it is, I think we've got plenty of time." Willow said and Sam took a breath.
"Alright, but I hope you don't mind if I'm not gonna go into too many details." Sam said as he took a breath. "I should begin with my parents…"
Sanctum Sanctorum
"I told you it was too dangerous and look what has happened!" Wong snarled as he, Strange and Peter stood in the backroom.
"I know, I know, you're right. But that's not important right now, what's important is trying to fix this before it gets worse." Strange tried to calm him down.
"Worse, it can get worse?" Peter asked in alarm.
"Much worse, kid. The multiverse is a concept of which we know frighteningly little. There is no telling what may happen now that the barriers between worlds are gone." Strange said darkly.
Suddenly, they heard the doorbell ring. Strange, Wong and Peter marched to the entrance hall. Strange opened the door and it confused him, Wong and Peter to see a young brown-haired man in a beige jacket. He seemed to be a bit older than Peter.
"May I help you?" Strange asked.
"Hi. This is probably gonna sound strange, but… have you ever heard of the theory of multiverse?" The man asked.
Narrowing his eyes, Strange gestured and next thing the man knew, he was dragged into the entrance hall. Wong and Strange conjured Eldritch whips, about to restrain the man, but next thing they saw was a bolt of lightning as breeze passed them and in a blink of an eye the man was behind them.
"How did you do that?" Peter demanded in surprise.
"I'm Barry Allen. Fastest man alive. On my Earth at least. And I think I'm gonna need your help getting back home." Barry said.
Really, both Peter and Strange should've thought the spell more through.
As for the visitors, we have Barry Allen (The Flash) and Sara Lance (White Canary) from Arrowverse, Barry and Sara are from post-Crisis, but without either one of them being ruined, since don't get me started on what a wimp Barry became or how promiscuous Sara was later, while I found Sara/Ava OK, if rushed at first, the clone thing ruined it for me, so no AvaLance here. Also, we have Sam Winchester from Supernatural and Willow Rosenberg from Buffyverse, both of them are after the series finale of their respective shows, but without Willow being with She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named, since fuck Whedon. You will see more characters and more fandoms as the story progresses. Also, there is one show here I'm going to include that most of you will not be familiar with, but I hope you will enjoy the story nonetheless. Plus, given that it is a Canadian show and there are characters from CW as well, prepare for doppelganger reactions. *Chuckles*
Also, just a note, I'm not going to take any power level comments here, since NO ONE CARES, so take your crap elsewhere.
So, what do you guys think?
Is it good? Is it bad?
Please review and let me know if you have been enjoying this so far and want for me to continue.
With regards
