The alarm clock woke Adrien just as it did every morning at 6. He loved this time of morning, when the light was just streaming in through the window, and it was peaceful, save for the birds chirping happily at the backyard bird feeder they had set up. A soft snore interrupted Adrien's thoughts and he glanced over at Marinette, hiding a smile.

Even when they were teenagers, Marinette was known for sleeping late, thus being late for school, but once he found out she was Ladybug, he understood her love of sleep. After all, he could still be caught napping on a rooftop himself, basking in the sun as an adult.

Being careful not to wake his sleeping wife, Adrien gathered his running clothes and headed into the bathroom. Ten minutes later, he emerged in his track suit and quietly made his way out the door.

Even at this time of morning, it was starting to be hot, but that was typical for a summer day in Paris. Adrien set off on his jogging route, happy for the quiet foot traffic this time of morning. He had found going for an early morning jog had him focusing better at work, and not restless as a cat during meetings.

He passed the bronze stature that had been made in his and Ladybug's honor so long ago, sparkling in the low sunlight. Adrien smiled, fond memories forming, as he had often left messages for Marinette there when they were younger.

Nearly the park, Adrien slowed down to a walk, as he opened the one of the iron park gates. He breathed in the scent of roses, and dipped his hands into the fountain gurgling and chuckling before sitting down on the lip of fountain.

It was this park that Adrien had dedicated to his mother, filled with her favorite flowers. He loved coming here in the early mornings, his quiet time of peace.

However, as always, after peace comes work, and Adrien sighed as his watch alarm buzzed. Time to get Bugaboo's morning Starbucks, and to wake Marinette.

Adrien had learned not to leave the coffee on the nightstand as he woke Marinette with music, for she had arisen quickly, sending the cup flying, splashing him with coffee and a chorus of yowls.

Placing his speaker near his sleeping wife, Adrien hit the play button. Marinette sat up quickly as the "Circle Of Life" started playing at a loud volume. "Good morning, darling!" Adrien sang, as his wife glared at him. "Ready for your morning presentation?"

"The only presentation I'll be giving is how well I can throw this pillow, Agreste," Marinette threatened, her voice thick with sleep and her hair a tangled mess.

"Truce?" Adrien waved the coffee cup under nose, after approaching her cautiously. "You know, your lucky I love you, because I have hundred ways of getting back at you."

"And that's why your so clever," Adrien responded. "Well, now that I have my coffee, I suppose your waiting for food to be delivered to your bowl?" Adrien nodded, eyes sparkling.

Hey, there were going to be good mornings, and bad mornings for both of Agreste's. But for this morning at least, it was a very good morning indeed.
