Born in a world dominated by the gifts of overwhelming power, Izuku Midoriya grew up in a harsh environment, his only good being his mother, Inko Midoriya, otherwise known as "the intense hero: tornado" his younger twin sister: Izumi, and his status as the son of the number one hero global: toshinori yagi. Izuku lived a fairly good life, with the belief of being as great if not greater than his father as a hero, yet little izuku never knew that his father was the number one. When izuku was taken to the quirk doctor to get his quirk checked out, alone with his twin, he could contain himself
"hey zumi? What do you think my quirk will be?"
Asked the young izuku to his sister
"Don't know, I hope we both get awesome quirks like katsumi and katsuki, although not so similar to where you can tell it's the exact same."
Both kids had high hopes, their mother inko tuned in "Izuku, Izumi, make sure to look both ways when crossing the street okay?"
The two greenies where excited, practically jolting in their chairs with anticipation, as soon as the quirk doctor came back, the news was told
"it seemes here as if Izumi has a quirk similar to yours ms. Tornado, she can use telekinesis to an almost refind state, not to mention activating telekinesis on herself to hit harder, and move faster. Izuku on the other hand doesn't seem to have much a quirk at all... or one that we can identify..."
The news struck izuku's soul, his face had gone completely pale, his mouth and throat dry, as inko looked over at him with worry.
"don't worry dear, don't feel discouraged, you can always do something to help people, no matter what"
All he could do was nod slowly, his mouth agape and his eyes wide... he thought he'd lost hope, yet there was this spark, this spark that kept him going, one that told him "prove em' wrong" on the ride to go home, toshinori called
"how's everything looking?"
he said in a neutral tone.
"Izumi had a quirk, which allows her telekinetic abilities, along with enhancing her physical prowess, but izuku, I'm afraid he may not have a quirk at all"
a long pause happened on toshinori's end, but alas he spoke
"I see.."
He spoke in a tone that suggested worry and sorrow for his son, the one that wanted so badly to be a hero... With all of these occurring events, Izumi felt worried and saddened for her elder twin...
"hey Izumi! Come with me and katsuki to the park!"
shouted a playful and innocent katsumi, as from aside her was her older twin brother: katsuki bakugo. As they walked to the park they noticed the lack of glee from Izumi, a girl who was almost never sad.
"What's the matter? Did something wrong happen Izumi?"
Izumi looked over at the twins, she was obviously gloomy, as if some dark cloud was over her spirits.
"it's izuku-nii, he doesn't have a quirk, but he still wants to be a hero... I don't want to crush his spirits but... what if he gets really really hurt someday... maybe there is a way to make him not want to be a hero...?"
katsuki had an idea, albeit an evil one.
"scare him"
"what no way!" Said Izumi.
"I know it sounds bad, but I think the only way to do this is by scaring him out of his phase"
as dumb as it sounded, it was a plan, and if it worked, izuku could live safely albeit maybe holding a grudge against the three. Today, it was an ordinary day, izuku was being down talked by his sister and his two best friends.
"give up izuku, you'll never be a hero without a quirk" said Katsuki
"you'll be deadweight to others, it's best you listen to us big brother" said Izumi
All izuku did was blankly stare at them and mumbled under his breathe
"I'll show you I don't need some stupid flashy quirk to be a hero, it will be nothing but me and my body"
after a 10 year timeskip, a 14 year old izuku was in his last class for today, looking quite bored.
"alright kids, it's important you know about what you want to be in the future, oh who am I kidding, you all want to be heroes right?"
as if on queue. All students began to flair their quirks, izuku and katsuki were the only ones not to, of course with izuku "not" having one and katsuki having common sense.
"listen up you losers, you'll all be nothing but stepping stones to me, and side kicks to the busted D-lister third rate hero"
this caused most students to get quite pissed with his statement, yet some couldn't deny that with their quirks, they wouldn't do much good. The teacher began to read off the schools and applications of each teen within the room
"Katsuki Bakugo, Izuku Midoriya for U.A high."
many of the kids turned to izuku with shock and disbelief, they didn't think he'd wish death on himself, especially with the low acceptance rate of U.A
"What did I tell you, you quirkless loser! Give up on that dream of being a hero!"
yelled an angry Katsuki to izuku. There was clear animosity with izuku's decision, yet all izuku did was blow a cherry at katsuki with a blank expression.
"I'll prove you wrong... indefinitely."
he said pointing a finger a katsuki. As school releases for the day, izuku goes home, within the recent months, izuku began to feel a change in himself, his senses were sharpened to a godly degree, and his speed, strength, durability and natural healing capabilities also increased, this was definitely his quirk awakening after staying dormant for so long, izuku never named it, but he never cared he swore to take this power and grow with it. Izuku worked out everyday ever since he began to receive those degrading and discouraging words. He was toned to the brim, and he was very intellectual being in the number one spot of his class. Izuku returned home to his mother, and with a sigh spoke
"I'm moving out, I think it's best for my own growth"
Inko was a bit taken a back by his bluntness
"are you sure? I mean I know it hasn't been the best for you but..."
with a sigh inko glared at the ground
"things haven't been good for you, I've always had work, your father is never home, and Izumi has been harsh to you, I still want to protect you my child"
izuku tried to keep his composure. He didnt want to cry or expose his emotional side...
"I understand, trust me, I'll work for myself"
he said with a grin, as his green eyes glowed.
"alright, if you say so, I'll give you a steady income of yen per-month until you can get on your feet okay?" Said inko with a gentle smile.
"fair enough" said izuku with a sheepish smile.
And soon, izuku was out of the house and inside of his own apartment, with a grin he spoke
"U.A, here I come"
Izuku stood on the edge of a cliff, with a smile as the sun beamed on him, he put his fist to the skies, as he thought about the future.
