Hello, fellow fic readers and My Hero Academia fans! Welcome to a new My Hero Academia fanfic. This time something new popped onto my head and I decided to see how this would go as this story has a new twist while retaining most elements from the anime while incorporating "superhero"-like twists here.
It all started when I came across a website where you can download NES ROM games as I already have a NES emulator, and while browsing I came across a very familiar game that I played way back during the 8-bit era (NES/Famicom). That game was Twin Bee, but known in the US as Stinger, and while I did play and enjoyed it, I had difficulty trying to get past Stage 1, and after a few years of trying to get past it I sort of give up.
Decades later, when the NES emulator came to light, especially in smartphones, I decided to give it another shot, and to my pleasant surprise it has a built-in cheat codes and thus I now have the means to finish Twin Bee, and finally made it to the last stage.
This inspired me to come up with a way to make a fanfiction, and My Hero Academia came to mind and decided to try combining the two series and thus I was able to conceive the initial plot.
To give this fic a starting narrative, I borrowed some plot points from the recently-released MHA movie, World Heroes Mission, and that's where the main characters for this come in, where they are going to do a SHOOT 'EM UP thing would be applied.
Yup, it's a wild experiment as Midoriya and Bakugo are going to pilot a ship with arms, and this is where I would see if this would clique or not…

Ch. 1: Yoha to rachi
The scene shifts at a hidden base where the leader of the doomsday cult called Humarise is set to commit mass murder via genocide as they announced earlier that they will PURIFY the world by killing the ones with Quirk and spare the Quirkless, sending everyone all over the world in a panic and the pro heroes are working around the clock to evacuate the citizens while searching for the hidden bombs.
The scene shifts inside where Bakugo and Todoroki are fighting against the Humarise agents which took a toll on both sides before Todoroki and Bakugo eventually defeated the Humarise agents but we're severely injured to move ahead and mentally hoped that Midoriya would be able to stop the mastermind and deactivate the bombs.
Further inside the hidden lair, the mastermind, Flect Turn, is giving Midoriya a hard time as his Quirk repel the attacks that Midoriya unleashed, and the 16-year old boy was badly injured but persevered as Rody Soul tries to make a bargain with Flect, and the mastermind smirked seeing that victory is at hand, only to find out that it was just an act and Rody proceeded to head to the main computer to deactivate the bombs.
Enraged for being fooled, Flect Turn reactivates the room's laser defenses to shoot at both of them. Rody manages to dodge some of the shots but in the end, he is fatally wounded by one of the lasers. Still, he continues to make his way to deactivate the bombs while Midoriya keeps Flect Turn at bay. He increases the power of One For All and attacks Flect Turn with volumes of kicks and punches to keep him at bay. Rody manages to get to the computer, but ends up passing out from blood loss before inserting the key.

"Are you okay?"
"…"
"Answer me!"

Smirking, Flect Turn mocks him for failing just like his father, which is replied by attacks from a raging Midoriya, but this time, to the villain's surprise, he begins to budge with each blow, realizing a fact he thought was impossible: his Quirk actually has limits. This is pointed out by Midoriya, who rubs salt into the wound by telling him that the only reason his life was full of sadness is because he gave up instead of believing in his own Quirk.
"You're such a petty person!"
"No!"
"Rather than finding a way to turn it into a gift, you chose to hurt people!"
"Quirks are a curse!"
"Yet you use it! You are the fool!"
"You lie!"
"I'll stop you and end this madness!"
"Never!"
Unable to accept he was wrong all this time, Flect Turn resorts to continue fighting him.
Now both Midoriya and Flect Turn are evenly matched, until Midoriya eventually realizes that Flect Turn's reflecting Quirk cannot sustain too much damage, and every time it reflects an attack, Flect Turn loses stamina and the Reflect gets weaker. Pushing through with another barrage of kick attacks and powerful punches, Flect Turn starts to fall back even further.
Glancing at the monitors where other pro heroes and his friends and classmates from UA Academy giving their all in averting the tragedy, which in turn inspired by everyone else all around the world still fighting their hardest even when things seem at its bleakest, Midoriya vows to defeat Flect Turn and pushes himself beyond his limitation by activating One For All: Full Cowl - 100%, overloading the Reflect Quirk with a bombardment of super-fast punches that causes the Quirk to be stretched further beyond its limits until the Quirk releases its pent-up energy.
"You're going to pay for the murders you committed!"
"No!"
"You will have to REFLECT the action you made!"
"Never! I won't lose to the likes of you!"
"I will save everyone!"
"You won't win!"
"Your crazy campaign ends right now!"
"Never! I refuse!"
With a rush of adrenaline, Midoriya finally knocks the villain out for good using the built-up energy to power his Super Move: United States of World Smash.
After defeating the villain, Midoriya runs downstairs to help Rody. He arrives at the control room to find that Rody is still alive, and that Pino had managed to insert the key in time, defusing all the bombs and saving the world. In the World Hero Association and in all the cities where the bombs were found, the heroes celebrate that the tragedy has been stopped. A semi-conscious Rody asks him if he has managed to protect his family, and Midoriya replies he did, saying he is amazing. Rody then says that make him looks real cool, and both laughs.
"So I really am cool, huh?"
"Yeah…you are, Rody."
"Ha-ha…"
"You can be a pro hero if you want…"
"I rather follow my dream…and I need it to support my siblings…"
"I see…"
"Still…thanks, Midoriya."
"Sure. No problem."

In the aftermath, the pro heroes and the Otheon authorities were able to identify and arrest the police officials who are connected to Humarise, while the rest of the pro heroes arrested the rest of the Humarise members here and Klayd, and in a few days later Midoriya, Bakugo and Todoroki are recovering from their injuries and spend another few days at the hospital until they were given clearance to be discharged.
After that Midoriya is seen giving his regards to Rody and the two boys shook hands before the latter departed, telling Midoriya to carry on his dreams of becoming a pro hero while he will continue his dream of becoming a pilot.
"Well…this is where we part."
"Yeah."
"You follow your dreams. I do mine."
"I'm sure you'll succeed, Rody."
"Be the number one hero of the whole world, Midoriya."
"I will."
"Well, see you, Midoriya."
"Goodbye, Rody."
As Rody left to head back to Otheon, Midoriya is about to leave when Bakugo approached him and tells him he has to be careful next time and not act too reckless, reminding him that they still have a score to settle on who will become the next Number One pro hero, which Midoriya nodded and assured to Bakugo that he will be more careful next time.
As the two boys passed by a shore which leads to the international waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Celtic Sea, Midoriya saw what appeared to be a university-looking girl, who roughly appeared to be the same age as Melissa Shield, and with her is a child, who appeared to be a toddler, and the two appeared to be at peace as the girl hugged the child, which Bakugo deduces that they are a mother and child, which Midoriya was surprised that he and Bakugo would encounter a teenager becoming a young mother at such an early age.
However, both Midoriya and Bakugo noticed that some men showed up and immediately grabbed the toddler before grabbing the young mother, which both of them being dragged into what appeared to be a speedboat with a hood, and there Bakugo took notice as well as the two boys overheard the teen girl pleading to let her and her child be, but the men, dressed in SWAT-like uniforms, are speaking as well, and though Midoriya seemingly couldn't understand what the other group is saying, Bakugo deduced that the group who are dragging the teenager into the speedboat are Russians based on their vocal accents.
"Chego ty khochesh' so mnoy?"
"Nichego lichnogo… prikaz prezidenta…"
"Yego prikazy absolyutny…"
"Ty ne smozhesh' brosit' yemu vyzov…"
"U menya net nikakikh obyazatel'stv pered Rossiyey! YA rodilsya ukraintsem i zhivu zdes' kak vremennyy grazhdanin! A teper' otpustite menya i moyego rebenka! Vy, monstry, prosto bedstviye! Skazhi svoyemu prezidentu, chtoby on poshel k chertu!"
"Vy priyedete v Rossiyu, khotite vy etogo ili net! Ved' v vashikh rukakh klyuch k zavoyevaniyu Ukrainy!"

"I have no obligation with Russia! I am born a Ukrainian and am living here as a temporary citizen! Now unhand me and my child! You monsters are a scourge! Tell your president to go to hell!"
"You will come to Russia whether you like it or not! For you hold the key in conquering Ukraine!"
"Regardless if you're on international land…we have orders to bring you to Russia no matter what other nations say."
"And the president WANTED you there…by hook or crook."

Although Bakugo doesn't understand Russian, he heard one of the Russian soldiers mentioned NATO and United Nations, but then he and Midoriya saw the Russian soldiers uses a rifle and struck the teen on the head several times in a callous way before she is knocked out, and busted open.
The mother's child started to cry and there the soldiers beat up the child until she was rendered unconscious, which earned the ire of Midoriya while Bakugo was getting incensed at what they saw.
The Russian soldiers then quickly sped away via the speedboat, and Midoriya is compelled to go after them which Bakugo sighed as he couldn't let Midoriya go by himself, and saw another speedboat parked and there he and Midoriya hoped on and went after the other speedboat, and a minute later the two Class 1-A members are slowly catching up with the other speedboat and the Russian soldiers saw the speedboat behind them.
As the Russian soldiers sped away further, Midoriya stepped on the pedal and is catching up with the speedboat in front of them, and Bakugo smirked as he wondered what the Russian soldiers are doing at the Klayd border and why are they engaging in a kidnapping activity without assistance from the Klayd authorities, with Midoriya wondering if the Russian soldiers are surviving members of Humarise.
"Humarise infiltrating Russia? Sounds like an interesting theory, Deku..."
"How come the pro heroes didn't noticed it…?"
"I'm betting that those Russian gooks are probably breakaway members or something…"
"We better stop them and then get answers from them…"
"Sounds good to me. Maybe a Russian roulette would be interesting…"
"Ka-chan…!"
"Just kidding. Just focus on getting closer to that speedboat…"
"I'm on it!"
As the speedboat chase is ongoing, Midoriya's DANGER SENSE Quirk activated, and there he began to sense the incoming danger as he grabbed Bakugo and jumped behind the back area of the speedboat and two seconds later the speedboat exploded, and several seconds later, a submarine emerged and the hull opened, where a rope-like ladder was thrown out and the Russian soldiers in SWAT uniforms, carrying their unconscious prisoner, climbed onto the submarine and went inside.
The scene zoomed inside the submarine where it showed that the ones inside are also Russian soldiers, and they appeared to be callous even when told that the pursuers are minors, as the soldiers said that as long as the PRESIDENT approves, then it doesn't matter, as completing the mission is what's important.
"Tak chto vashi presledovateli prosto deti ...?"
"Da."
«Oni grubo okazalis' 16 let ...»

«Eto ne imeyet znacheniya. Vy znayete nashi zakazy.
"Konechno. Ustranit' kogo-nibud', kto vpityvayetsya v nami.

"They roughly appeared to be 16 years old…"
"Yet they have guts."
"It doesn't matter. You know our orders."
"Of course. Eliminate anyone getting in our way."

As the submarine began to submerge, the scene shifts behind it, where it is shown that Midoriya and Bakugo survived the explosion, and a brief flashback revealed that Midoriya uses Float to keep themselves airborne as the submarine make its escape.
However, It is revealed that Bakugo managed to use a support item which is a tracking device, and threw it onto one of the Russian soldiers before the speedboat got wrecked, and now Bakugo uses the tracking device to pinpoint the location of the submarine, and told Midoriya to contact the others and inform them of what is happening.

Inside the submarine, one of the Russian soldiers contacted someone, and as the call got through, the monitor blared and someone appeared, who asked the soldiers if their task is successful, which the soldiers nodded as they showed the prisoner, who is tied up and gagged, and the person shown on the monitor nodded in satisfaction.
The person is identified as Vladimiri Putinieir (a play on the words BLOODY MARY and PUT IN HERE), and when told of what happened, Putinieir said that the soldiers did the right thing as he reminded them of taking out anyone who would interfere, regardless of gender and age, as victory is all that matters, which the Russian soldiers nodded in acknowledgement.

There Putinieir instructed the soldiers to head to the meeting point and make sure that the prisoner must not escape and that no one must know of the fact that they ILLEGALLY set foot at Klayd and that no one must know of what Russia will do next as they are preparing a covert operation FOR THE SAKE OF MOTHER RUSSIA no matter what the costs.
The soldiers roared and vowed that they will carry out the will of the Russian president and will do anything what the president wishes to do if it would mean bringing Russia back as the SUPERPOWER it was previously been before the dissolution of the then-USSR, which Putinieir smiled at the loyalty of the soldiers.

Meanwhile, Todoroki and Clair Voyance arrived at the scene where Midoriya and Bakugo are, and there Midoriya told them of what happened, and both Todoroki and Clair were surprised to hear this agreed to inform Endeavor about the current situation.
However, one of Clair's subordinates contacted her and said that they got a CCTV footage of what happened several minutes ago, and there Clair and Todoroki saw the footage and are alarmed at seeing that the men in SWAT-like uniforms are not that of Klayd or Otheon, and that they attack and abducted a foreign mother and child before seeing that Midoriya and Bakugo went after the men via the speedboat.
Clair asked for information of the foreign woman and child who were abducted, and the subordinate said that he checked it and told her that the foreign woman and child who were forcibly taken are from Ukraine, but he couldn't come up with a theory on who would want to kidnap a mother and child.
Midoriya then told Clair that they have to move out and follow the submarine before it escape to international waters, which Bakugo agreed, but Clair wisely urged the two boys not to act rashly, which Midoriya was internally incensed as it reminded him of being forced to let Kai Chisaki to take Eri away several months ago.
Clair then said that she will contact Endeavor and have him send pro heroes to head to the Atlantic Ocean and see if the pro heroes would be able to catch up with the submarine, as it already got a head-start as it head further into the open seas of the Atlantic Ocean.

About several more minutes later, the next scene shifts at an uncharted island where the submarine slowly rises from the waters, and there the Russian occupants came out, dragging the female teenager out, still tied up and gagged, and there the Russian SWAT members and the submarine crew are out of the submarine, unaware that some local pro heroes, who are working for the World Heroes Association, stealthily approached the men, and overheard them say something, yet failed to understand what the men are saying due to the men using Russian dialect.
"Khorosho… my zdes'…"
"I zaklyuchennyy zakrepil…"
"Ty uveren, chto eti soplyaki ubity?"
"Da. Sudya po ikh odezhde… oni, veroyatno, starsheklassniki, rabotayushchiye na inostrannykh pro-geroyev…"
"My postupili pravil'no. PREZIDENT poruchil nam ustranit' vsekh, kto nam meshayet."
"On budet dovolen."
"Konechno."
"Teper' my zhdem…"
Then a jet arrived before landing, and there one of the local pro heroes saw the female teenager attempted to flee, but the Russian SWAT members began to beat her up despite her being tied up, as they took turns in kicking and punching her in such callous ways, where you can see that her face has gotten bloody.
Moreover, the Russian soldiers aimed a gun at the woman's child and threatened to shoot her if she attempted to escape, thus putting her in their thrall.
As the SWAT members dragged her by her hair, the local pro heroes made their move and attempted to do a daring rescue, but to their surprise, several drone-like aircrafts appeared, which somewhat resembling fruits and vegetables, and for some reason they were able to bypass some of the radars of other foreign countries.
The drone-like aircrafts consists of the following:
- Radish Ship
- Strawberry Ship
- Eggplant Jet
- Pepper Ship
- Pea Ship
- Carrot Ship
The local pro heroes were taken by surprise, which the distraction allowed the Russian soldiers to make an escape, and while one of the local pro heroes managed to send an SOS message to Clair Voyance, the others attempted to fight off the drone-like aircrafts, but to their shock, their Quirks were suddenly CANCELLED.
"Huh? What…?"
"My Quirk!"
"Its not working!"
"Mine too!"
"What's going on?"
"How did this happen?"
"Look out!"
The drone-like aircrafts that resembled fruits and vegetables opened fire, shooting down the local pro heroes and they were killed on the spot, and there the drone-like aircrafts began to move as it head off towards the vicinity of the Otheon and Klayd, and are programmed to attack anything that moves.

Hope you liked this chapter, as it partially retells the events leading to the conclusion of the World Heroes Mission story, but diverges significantly by having an abduction incident at the Klayd soil and took off, where Midoriya and Bakugo gives chase and a murder attempt at the open seas…
That's where the Russian plot comes in as the main antagonist of this story is revealed…and what this means for Midoriya and Bakugo, who are currently awaiting for further instructions, unaware that the local pro heroes were killed and the Russian soldiers succeeded in getting away…
And here the elements of Twin Bee appeared, such as the enemy characters though their debut were brief, they are shown to be dangerous as for some reason the pro heroes suddenly went Quirkless and we're killed off in a humiliating way.
In the upcoming chapters the Twin Bee vehicles will make their debut and that's where Midoriya and Bakugo comes in…
